BALINESE CAT SOCIETY 10TH CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

30th May, 2009.

My thanks to Julia and Liz for the invitation to judge which I really enjoyed – it was a pleasure to judge so many beautiful Balinese. I thank Anne (Clay) who came to steward for me and for her very enjoyable company – Anne handled all the exhibits with great care, expertise and understanding.

IMPERIAL GRAND CHAMPION MALE

IMP.GR.CH. BROWNING’S IMP.GR.CH.PIPPASTRO HAWKMOTH 61n 2yrs.

Super boy with strong head and profile, good chin and very good top of head. Large well set ears with tufts, eyes oriental and of a very good colour. Good length firm body, firm legs and paws. Good length tail with good plume. Coat silky in texture, points of good colour, slight shading on body. Outstanding temperament – a joy to judge and handle – beautifully presented.

GRAND PREMIER MALE

GR.PC HOWARD’S CH.& PR. LEMENTAL ARAGON 61dt 4yrs 10mnths.

Well grown boy with strong head, good chin, very slight dip in profile, good top of head. Large well set ears, eyes of very good shape, colour good but could be more intense. Good length firm body, firm legs and paws. Good tail and plume. Coat silky – tabby markings evident. Points of good colour. Coat clear. Lovely temperament, beautifully presented.

RG PC MEEKING’S UK GR.CH. & PR. LEMENTAL RED ALERT 61dt 5yr.11mnths.

Another well grown and well nourished boy who ran winner close, with strong head and profile, good chin and top of head. Large well set ears. Eyes oriental and of good colour. Medium length firm body, firm legs and paws. Good tail and plume. Coat silky in texture, slight shading to tone with his points which are rich in colour. Again lovely temperament, and beautifully presented.

CHOCOLATE POINT MALE KITTEN

2nd – 1st withheld WHITBY’S PIPPASTRO TOP GUN 5mnths 2 wks.

A real sweetie, but unfortunately his points are too dark particularly on his mask, albeit other points were pale, and he had a kink at the end of his tail and at present only one teste appears to have descended. Medium wedge, good profile and top, good chin. Large ears of good set, eyes of good shape and colour. Medium length firm body, firm legs and paws, good tail with plume developing. Coat of good texture, silky in texture, clear in colour. Wonderful temperament, beautifully presented.

BALINESE BREEDERS MALE ADULT.

1.PINNINGTON’S SPINDIAMOND INBLUEJEANS 61a M 2yrs.9mnths.

Well nourished big boy with medium well balanced head, dip in profile, good chin and top of head. Large ears of good set. Long body, firm legs and paws, good tail with good plume, coat silky in texture, but very shaded. Points of good colour. A dream to handle – beautifully presented.

BALINESE BREEDERS FEMALE ADULT

1.RUNNALL’S NISMATKAT KHAMSIN 61t 5yrs.2mnths.

Compact girl with medium well balanced head, good profile and chin, good top of head. Large well set ears. Eyes oriental and of very good colour. Medium length body, firm legs and paws. Long tail with very good plume. Coat silky of good length, shading evident to tone with her points which are of a good colour. Good markings – lovely temperament, beautifully presented

2.PINNINGTON’S CH.SPINDIAMOND REMEMBERME 61b 4yrs.1mnth.

Medium wedge, good top of head, dip in profile, good chin. Ears of good size and set. Eyes of good shape and colour. Medium length firm body, firm legs and paws, good tail with good plume. Points darkish, coat silky, slight shading. Lovely temperament, beautifully presented.

3.PINNINGTON’S SPINDIAMOND FLAME 61dt 1yr.11mnths.

Small for age with medium wedge, dip in profile, good chin, fair top of head. Ears of good size and set. Eyes of good shape and colour. Medium length body, firm legs and paws. Tail of fair length, fair plume. Coat silky, very slight shading, points of good colour. Markings evident. Enjoyed being judged – beautifully presented.

DEBUTANTE ADULT.

1.STUDER’S PIPPASTRO TICKLED MY FANCY 61p F 1yr.6mnths.

Compact and stylish girl with strong head, good profile and chin, bite marginal. Large ears well set. Eyes of very good shape, colour and set. Medium length firm body, firm legs and paws, good tail with good plume. Coat silky in texture, points of good colour showing beautifully markings. Wonderful temperament, beautifully presented.

VETERAN NEUTER

1.BIRD’S CH.& GR.PR.BLANCSANGLIER BITTERSWEET 61 MN 8yrs.9mnths.

In super condition – a well grown boy with strong head, now looking a touch square in the muzzle – good chin, profile has a small dip in it. Good top of head. Large ears with tufts, of good set. Eyes of good shape, set and colour. Good length well nourished body, firm legs and paws, good tail with good plume. Coat a touch greasy today. Points of good colour. Super temperament.

2.MEEKINGS CH.BEWITCHING BARBARELLA 61dt FN 8yrs.9mnths.

Older girl with medium wedge, fair profile, good chin and top of head. Large ears well set. Eyes deep set – of good colour. Medium length firm body, firm legs and paws. Tail of good length with good plume. Coat a touch greasy today – slight shading – points of good colour., Lovely lady.

1.COSGROVE’S ROLAND BLUE TABBY SH MN 5yrs 6mnths.

Big strong boy of super colour. Strong head with expressive pale green eyes, good length well nourished body with long firm legs and big paw. Good tail showing rings, scarab on head. Coat of very good colour and texture. A joy to judge.

RESCUED/STRAY NEUTER OF KITTEN

Super boy of beautiful colouring. Strong head, orange eyes – ears of good size. Good body and firm legs, good tail. Coat of excellent texture. Lovely temperament, beautifully presented.

2.LEWIS’S MR.TIGGA CLASSIC TABBY SH MN 2yrs.

Huge well grown boy, showing beautiful markings, lovely head set of by his very expressive eyes. Coat of very good texture. Good body, long legs. Really laid back boy.

Another huge tabby boy showing beautifully markings, the white is like persil. In lovely condition with super coat texture. – loved being judged.

Compact and well nourished lady with super temperament. Short head, pale green eyes which are very expressive. Short firm body, firm legs and paws. Coat of excellent texture, showing beautiful tortie markings which go down to the roots – a joy to judge.

2.LEWIS’S MR. PEBBLES MACKEREL TABBY SH MN 12yrs.

Well grown boy in excellent condition for his age – strong head, lovely eyes, coat of very good texture, and showing beautiful markings. Unfortunate to meet the winner.
