Peter WilliamsBedford and District Cat ClubThank you to Linda, Alan and the Committee to this very well run show. It was nice to get back to a show after my accident - my hand is on the mend I am still going for physio therapy but it is all going in the right direction. It was also a real pleasure handle some super cats. Witty Maruszewska spent the day with me - it was the first time she had stewarded. I hope you were not put off and thank you for your help. Chocolate Burmese Kitten1st & Bob Brabner Roseambur Flighty Miss F 05.12.08Well grown lively kitten who was into everything. Medium wedge, tapering to a blunt finish which was fractionally narrow at the muzzle. I put this down to her teething and on closer inspection she was missing quite an amount of teeth. Good rounding to the top of her head between the ears. Medium sized ears which are broad at the base, rounded at the tips. They have a tendency to shoot upright at times though are better when she stood still for a minute and relaxed. Good depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, acceptable nose break the nose itself has a slight roll off. Chin has some depth and recedes slightly. Level bite. Eyes are “muddy” golden chartreuse in colour at the moment - colour itself still developing. They are lustrous and well set with a very expression however could be fractionally larger. Nice muscular and of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail fractionally short to balance, finishing in a blunt end which could taper a fraction more. Good coat, nice texture slightly long on her back however lays close to her body and is actually very nice for her age. Paler chocolate which has warmth with slight masking. Overall pleasant kitten who was in good condition and the peak of health - I hope to see her once she has stopped teething. AOC Tortie Burmese Kitten1st & BOB Williams’ Molynmeux Zazeux 27j F 23.12.08Young kitty however her oomph stood out - what an evil expression for someone so small. Good short wedge, which tapers well to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Lovely rounding to the top of the head between the ears. Large ears which are broad at the base, rounded at the tips. Set very well apart. She has a tendency to hold them a little low at times and they “slide” down her head a little as her face gets more and more evil. Excellent depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, good nose break. Chin is firm and has good depth. Level bite. Eyes are chartreuse with an inner green rim - colour still developing, lustrous and set well apart - really good definition and shape with a fantastic rounding to the lower lid and straighter on the top line giving a truly Burmese expression. Body muscular and of good feel to her body. Legs in proportion, dainty paws neat and oval in shape. Tail fractionally short to balance and if I am knit picking, tapers slightly too much towards the tip. Absolutely excellent coat which is very mature for her age. Short soft and very glossy - my hand glided over it. Nice lilac tortie colouring with good mingling (no points for distribution but it adds to the overall picture). There merest hit of a smudge on one of her back legs. In excellent condition and very well presented - totally laid back. An excellent little lady who has everything going for her - she has such a “to die for” expression - could sit on my sofa any day - I look forward to seeing her in the future. Well done to her mum and dad - I understand she later became BIS Burmese kitten. 2nd Batchelder Kymian Bluebell 27g 29.12.08Another very attractive kitten with a real sparkle in her eyes. Excellent size for age and with a nice solid body. Good short wedge, tapering well to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Again, lovely rounding to the top of the head between the ears. Medium sized ears which are broad at the base, rounded at the tips and of very nice set. Very nice depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, good nose break with the nose itself having a slight roll off. Chin is firm and has good depth. Level bite. Eyes are “muddy” in colour at the moment - colour itself still developing. They are large and lustrous and set very well with a very attractive expression. Nice muscular and of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail fractionally short to balance, finishing in a slightly blunt end which could taper a fraction more. Good coat, nice texture slightly long on her back however lies close to her body and is actually very nice for her age. Nice blue tortie colouring which is very attractive (again no points for distribution but it adds to the overall picture). In tip top condition and super presentation - excellent temperament and laid back. I spoke to her owner afterwards and explained to him that she was a very nice kitten in her own right and this was a very strong class with two extremely good girls - the other girl’s coat was slightly better and so was her expression however having said this I would have been more than happy to give this girl a first and BOB. They were two very good examples of the breed and I congratulate their breeders and owners. 3rd Brown’s Jownorb Galadriel Peri 27g F 02.11.08Attractive well grown girl who was very laid back and enjoying her day out. Medium wedge. Despite the blaze on her nose which could give an optical illusion, her wedge is slightly longer than the other two girls, tapering at the muzzle which was a fraction fine to balance the rest of her head. The top of the head between the ears is slightly rounded. Large ears which are broad at the base, rounded at the tips and slightly upright at times which tend to accentuate the length of her wedge. Her head itself could do with slightly more depth overall. Slightly rounded brow, slightly weak nose break which could be a little more defined. Chin is fractionally shallow and recedes. Level bite. Eyes are yellow chartreuse with an inner green rim at the moment. They are well set and she has a nice expression. Nice muscular and of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail fractionally short to balance, finishing in a slightly blunt end which could taper a fraction more - end has slight fixed deviation confirmed by Duty Vet. Good coat, slightly long on her back however lays close to her body. Very attractive blue tortie colouring - no points for mingling again. Well presented and good condition AV Foreign Novice Kitten1st Hamilton’sAdniosh The Phat Goblin 84 31dt M 13.10.08Huge pen for such a little cat but boy what a nice surprise when I found him amongst the blankets. Charming well grown and extremely outgoing. Modified wedge with rounded contours, of correct proportions, with prominent cheekbones and distinctive whisker break and rounded muzzle. Skull slightly rounded with a flat plane in front of the ears. Straight nose with slight stop at the bridge. Chin is shallow and receding somewhat .Lovely large ears, wide open at the base tapering to a rounded tip and of good set. Large, lemon shaped eyes again very well set giving a lovely gentle expression. Muscular body. Nice elegant neck. Legs sturdy and well proportion to the body. Excellent stance. Oval “cushioned” paws. Excellent tail that went on for miles - it has a lovely shape to it. Fine down all over his body with nice resistance. Slightly thicker fur on his nose and nether regions (I resisted the pun!) and to a lesser extent his tail.. Overall in top form, excellent condition and presentation - well done to his mum. Sweet tempered and lively - just as standard. I wrote in my book “completely balanced” I thought he was a smasher! 2nd Hamilton’s TalltreesAmadahy 84 31t F 14.10.08Another big pen with something nice inside - well grown lass - just a little finer in type that her friend next door. Head type very similar – her muzzle being somewhat narrower and finer – maybe due to the fact that she is a “girlie girl”. Her chin was weaker and fractionally more receding than the lads. Hopefully her overall head will gain a little more strength as he grows up. Very large ears. Her eyes were a little fuller in shape and could have been set marginally less prominent and set more on an angle Body muscular with elegant neck. Dainty legs nicely balanced with her body. Again very nice stance. “Cushioned” paws. Very good tail for shape and length. Extremely fine down all over - almost naked - which could have had a little more resilience. Let’s hope this comes as she grows. Slightly thicker fur on her nose and tail. It was more than obvious that these two cats were the apple of their owner’s eyes and were presented to perfection. Congratulations mum - Can I come and live in your house?!! 3rd Read’s Onaway Have You Seen Her 03.12.08 33a 36An unassuming lass who is well grown. Head is relatively short with a flat top and good depth. Overall it could have more width as it is slightly narrow. Good whisker break, with stubbly whiskers. Chin is slightly shallow and receding. Bite level. Her eyes are a little round in shape and could be slightly better set to give a more typical Devon expression. Ears good size, good shape but need to be set lower. Good neck - well grown with nice muscle. Nice broad chest. Slim legs with good oval paws. Tail is of medium thickness and ever so slightly short to balance. Covered with short fur all over her body which is “coming though” and developing - it is somewhat flat over her spine line and overall needs more density. She has some slight rexing on her sides. The texture of her coat is good down her sides however is affected a little by guard hairs over her back and on her tail Her underneath was covered with short fur. Very good temperament and excellent presentation AV Foreign Aristocrat Neuter - two excellent lads in first and second place in this class1st Alger-Street’s Typhast Jelani 76 30 MN 13.05.08Very striking young man. Really impressive coat which stood out a mile. Handled well - a tad mouthy. Nice medium wedge with rounded contours - a fraction narrow overall though he is not yet a year old. High cheek bones. Straight in profile. Large broad nose with slightly puffed nose leather. Chin slightly shallow and receding. Pronounced whisker pads. Good neck which is in proportion to her body. Nice ears, wide base and rounded tips. Correctly set. Eyes slightly almond shaped. Well set. Excellent muscular body. Good rounded paws. Good tail for shape, size and length, has a nice rounded tip. Excellent coat - short, very dense, luxurious and soft to the touch. It was really impressive. Very good marking with nice contrast of markings with the ground colour. Lovely richness and depth of colour. Dark brown tail tip. Glitter evident. Nicely balanced. Excellent presentation. Well done! 2nd Parry’s Nwella Freckles 73bs MN 21.05.08.Huge lump of a cat - loving his day out and purring his head off. We had a lovely cuddle. Modified wedge, of correct proportions. Slight dip in profile which has a slight bump on it. Broad well defined muzzle with desired suggestion of squareness. Chin is slightly shallow and receding. Level bite. Moderate whisker pinch. Alert, moderately large ears wide at base, and of good set with rounded tips. Eyes full almond shaped, and of good set. Really deep colour. Solid muscular body which was on the portly side with an amount of “puppy fat” which detracted somewhat from his overall balance . Broad deep chest. Good substance to legs Oval paws. Tail of good shape and a little short to balance hisframe. Coat short, satiny in texture with a lustrous sheen. Close lying and sleek. Correct facial markings. Excellent spots which retain the warmth of colour inspite of the silvering which can sometimes drain the warm - really impressive markings overall. Spoke to his mum and dad after judging - both me and the cat are going on a diet! 3rd Macro’s Crispus Semolina Silkpaws 33a40 13 FN 04.10.03Very outgoing and friendly lass of excellent size. Overall very good type. Head has excellent depth and is short with a flat top. Good whisker break, whiskers stubbly. Chin is firm and level and has good depth. Bite level. Nice Devon expression. She has good eyes for shape and set - if I am ultra critical they are a tad round at times however are better when she relaxes. Ears good size, nice shape with good width at base, and well set. Good elegant neck - lovely sized lass who was very well grown and had substance without being overweight. Nice broad chest. Slim legs with good oval paws. Tail is of medium thickness and fractionally short to balance. Today her coat was at sixes and sevens. It is very patchy, most notably around her neck and on her flanks. Where she is covered it requires more density and whilst it was rexed this was rather untidy with a slight “flick” at the extremity of the hair. Her underneath had there merest hint of down on it down. No points for colour but an attractive colour point with nice warmth and corresponding blue eyes. Excellent temperament .Very friendly and wagging tail like a happy dog AV Foreign Junior Neuter1st Parry’s Nwella Freckles 73bs MN 21.05.08My chocolate silver Ocicat again - his mum and dad either had a lack of choice for classes or were gluttons for punishment putting under me again – it was the first time I had met this lad today and I liked him. 2nd Alger-Street’s Typhast Jalal 76 30 MN13.05.08Good overall type - similar to his brother. Again head is slightly narrow at the muzzle and could be a little boarder. Slight bump on nose. Very good green eyes. Nice sized body with good muscle. His coat today is slightly open and soft and has an amount of agouti marking though out the patterned area. Again excellent presentation and handled well though a tad grumpy AV Foreign Neuter not bred by exhibitor1st Parry’s Nwella Freckles 73bs MN 21.05.082nd Parry’s Pardalis Genesis 73b FN 02.06.2008Stable mate to the above lad and cursing and swearing as she came out - not at all happy but handled well. .Modified wedge, ever so slightly narrow in the muzzle today though her mood could have affected this. Slight dip in profile - again has a slight bump on her nose. Desired suggestion of squareness. In muzzle however it could have been slightly broader to balance the rest of her head. Slightly shallow and receding chin. Level bite. Moderate whisker pinch. Good ears for size and set - a fraction “mobile” with her mood but much better when she relaxed in the pen. Eyes almond shaped, and of good set. Nice hazel / green colour. Lovely muscular body. Broad deep chest. Good substance to legs which are in proportion to the body. Oval paws. Nice tail for shape and length. Again excellent coat texture and quality - short with a lustrous sheen. Correct facial markings. Good spots although the base colour has lots of agouti in it spots which retain the warmth. Super warm chocolate. I so enjoyed talking to her owners afterward - they love their cats who do them proud. Excellent presentation. I hope she is in a better frame of mind next time! 3rd Fordham’s Rajique Lakota Spirit 76 30 M 20.03.07Nice solid cat - today has a lot of agouti in the ground and base colour today. A bit moody but handled well and excellent presentation AC Burmese Senior AdultI must say the ladies had it in this class - three very striking girls that stood out of the crowd. It goes to show that Burmese can retain their looks into middle and older age. The owners of these three should be commended on the condition and presentation – save a few swear words from the first two - it was a real delight to get my hands on then. 1st Williams’ Gr Ch Molynmeux Zuexzeux Petals 27j F 07.11.2005Well grown girl with a super feel to her and substance but what a lot of “baggage” and mouth. Excellent short wedge, tapering well to a lovely blunt finish at the muzzle. Very good rounding to the top of the head between the ears. Medium to large sized ears which are broad at the base, rounded at the tips and of very nice set. Excellent depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, good nose break. Firm chin and has good depth. Level bite. Really nice expression indeed. Eyes are large and lustrous and set very well – ever so slightly pale in colour. Dare I say her expression improved the more grumbly she became to the point where she looked well and truly “evil” - however she handled well. Body nice and muscular and of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail fractionally short to balance, and of a good shape tapering slight too much towards the tip. Excellent coat texture and fitted like a glove coat, laying close to her body. Good lilac tortie colouring with very attractive pattern/mingling (again no points for distribution but it adds to the overall picture). Very well presented and on top form. 2nd Bridge’s Gr Ch Atro Blue Diamond 27a F 21.08.04Substantial lass with a really muscular feel and real mouth on her - she appeared to have had enough by the time we got to her but she handled well and “chuntered” under her breath giving me the “eye” until she was back in her pen totally disgusted in being handled and sat there in her pen with a “how very dare you” look. Having said this she came out and handled well. Lovely strong head type. Good short wedge, tapering well to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Very nice rounding to the top of the head between the ears. Medium sized ears which are broad at the base rounded at the tips and of very nice set could be a tad larger. Excellent depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, good nose break. Chin is firm and has good depth. Level bite. Eyes large and lustrous glaring at me. They are very well set with a super expression. Nice muscular and of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail fractionally short to balance of a very nice shape. Good coat, very nice texture, lays close to her body slightly darker blue in colour with nice silvering at the extremities. Very well presented - couldn’t resist a final swipe as she went back in the pen, In spite of this I liked her. 3rd Chapman’s Gr Ch Tribune Oatcake 27f F 07.02.00What an absolute darling of a cat. A regal lady who sat in her pen with such poise and came and greeted us as we opened the pen and had a truly pleasing expression – she really does look every inch a Burmese and her head type is impressive Lovely short wedge, tapering well to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Nice rounding to the top of the head between the ears. Medium ears which could have been a little larger to balance the strength and size of her overall head. They are broad at the base, rounded at the tips and of good set. Excellent depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, excellent nose break the nose. Chin is firm and has superb depth. Bite is undershot - confirmed by duty vet. Eye colour slightly green-chartreuse and “washed out” and faded now, however, she is nearly 10. They are lustrous and set very well with an attractive expression when she could be bothered opening them! Good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail fractionally short to balance, with lovely taper finishing in a “paintbrush” end. Good coat, nice texture slightly long on her back however lays close to her body and is actually very nice for her advanced age. Nice cream and powdering on her face and extremities - slightly “hotter” and darker cream on her back. Whilst this girl has issues with her bite she looks every inch a Burmese and her type is excellent. One that I would be happy to take home with me. In Numeric order:Kennard’s Gr Ch Mainman Kissanova 27 M 06.04.07Muscular strong lad. Unassuming fellow who was somewhat lost in his double pen and preferred to hide under his blanket. Somewhat small framed and compact for a male, however, very good weight for size. Nice short wedge, tapering well to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Good rounding to the top of the head between the ears. Medium ears, broad at the base, rounded at the tips and of good set. Nice depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, very good nose break. Chin is firm and has good depth. Level bite. Eyes are large and lustrous and set very well - he has a nice expression. Colour pale chartreuse and rather faded for his age with an inner green ring. Excellent weight for size and good muscle. Legs in proportion, neat oval paws. Tail a little short to balance and slightly thick. Good coat, nice texture darker brown in colour which has warmth to it. Very long luxurious white whiskers. Had a scattering of white hairs on his neck and shoulder area which would appear to be due to injury - there is no white anywhere else. Excellent condition and presentation, just not showing himself to full advantage today. Twigge’s Ch Rossikhan Sweetbaby James 27 M 07.04.07A very friendly playful chap who just wanted a cuddle. What a pleasure to see such an outgoing entire boy who was genuinely pleased to see us and not “on his toes” after the girls. Good short wedge, which tapers well to a blunt finish at the muzzle which is fractionally narrow to balance the width at the top of his head. Lovely rounding to the top of the head between the ears. Large ears which are broad at the base, rounded at the tips and set very well apart. Good depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, good nose break. Chin is firm and has good depth. Level bite. Eyes are pale chartreuse, lustrous and set well apart - nice definition and shape could be fractionally larger to balance the rest of his head. Body muscular and of good feel to her body - had eaten slightly too many pies and could do with an eye kept on his weight. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval. Tail a little short to balance and of very good shape. Excellent glossy coat which is even and warm brown in colour. Short soft and laying close to his body. Super friendly lad who was in excellent condition too. Cole’s Ch Molynmeux Adorable 27b F 01.09.06Large hefty lass who was in excellent health and certainly enjoys her food. Good short wedge, which tapers well to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Very good rounding to the top of the head. Large ears which are well set. Broad at the base, rounded at the tips. Very good depth to head overall. Slightly rounded brow, good nose break. Chin is firm but needs more depth. Level bite. Eyes are pale chartreuse, and are large lustrous and well set – they are really nice and give a pleasing Burmese expression. Body plumpish but firm and of good weight. Dainty paws. Oval in shape. Tail fractionally short to balance and is slightly thin tapering sharply at the end – her weight didn’t help here. Good coat texture slightly long on her back. Medium chocolate in colour with slight masking. Her coat on her body is somewhat “smoked” today with a pale undercoat rather than gradual shading. Overall a nice lass – very good eyes. Could do with loosing a few pounds. Moore’s Moongazer Hocus Pocus 27b F 07.02.05Chatty who doesn’t look her age with a compact body. .Good short wedge, tapering well to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Good rounding to the top of the head. Medium ears which are broad at the base, rounded at the tips and are well set and apart. Pleasing depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, good nose break. Chin is firm and has good depth. Level bite. Nice yellow/ chartreuse eyes, lustrous and set well apart – giving a nice expression. Body muscular and with a good feel and whilst she is compact she is a god weight for her size. Legs in proportion, dainty paws neat and oval in shape. Tail has a lovely shape and “paint brush" end however needs more length to balance. Medium chocolate coat with minimal masking which is of good texture and lays close to her body. Overall a pleasing girl. Hall’s Minotosa Bronwen 27d F 10.10.04Nice lass who has good substance – wriggly and prefer to be in her pen. Good short wedge, which tapers well to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Lovely rounding to the top of the head between the ears. Medium ears which are broad at the base, rounded at the tips. Set very well apart and following the line of her wedge - very nice. Excellent depth to head. Slightly rounded brow, good nose break with a slight roll off to the end of her nose. Chin is firm and has good depth. Level bite. Had a nice expression- just wouldn’t open her eyes fully at times and they appeared slightly oriental in setting but improved when she was really alert. Eyes yellow chartreuse. Very good weighty muscular body and of a good feel. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail nice shape and fractionally short to balance Very nice coat texture indeed – short and sleek with a nice sheen, lovely rich tangerine colour which was clear. Overall a nice gentle girl with a pleasing expression. In excellent condition and very well presented, AC Burmese Kitten1st Williams’ Molynmeux Zazeux 27j F 23.12.08 – see open class2nd Yardley’s Papagena Yana Yardley 27c F 01.09.08Very well grown lively outgoing girl who has grown since I last saw her as younger kitten. Fulfilling her earlier promise. Short to medium wedge, tapering to a blunt finish at the muzzle. Short to medium wedge, tapering to a blunt finish. Nice rounding to the top of her head between the ears. Medium sized ears - broad at the base and with rounded at the tips. She has slight rounding at the brow and a good nose break. Chin is firm and has good depth. Keep an eye on it as there were visible signs of dirt on it today. Level bite. Eyes are large and lustrous and well set with a pleasing expression. They are of a nice chartreuse colour however today she had slightly runny eyes and evidence of slight staining in their gutters. Vey good muscular body of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail just a little short to balance and of good shape. Good coat texture – dense and marginally long over her back today with some evidence of ticking in places Lilac was on the creamy side of lilac in the hall lighting today – I recall that as a smaller kitten it had a slightly more pinkish cast. A promising girl going though that adolescent phase at the moment, however promising and a nice sized lass with an outstanding temperament. 3rd Brabner Roseambur Flighty Miss 27b F 05.12.08 - see open class4th Kempe’s Oakenshield Lovesong 27d F 14.12.08Another well grown kitten for her age and with a lovely muscular body. Medium wedge, tapering to the muzzle which at present is a little fine to balance the rest of her head - she was however teething quite badly and this may be the reason. Has rounding to the top of her head between the ears. Medium sized ears of good shape and set. Slight rounding at the brow and an acceptable nose break which had a bump in the middle of her nose and a roll off at the tip. Chin is slightly shallow and receding. Level bite. Eyes are slightly small to balance her face and need more definition and rounding on the bottom line and straighter on the top line. They are yellow chartreuse in colour. Lovely muscular body of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail of good shape, a tad short to balance. Good coat texture laying close to her body with a nice gloss to it. Marginally long on the back but this is acceptable and was good for her age. Pale tangerine in colour with a few bars on her inner front legs and slight smudges on the back legs. Excellent condition and presentation. AC Burmese Visitor’s Kitten1st Moore’s Moongazer Monsoon 27c M 01.11.08Big strong lad - was a little uptight but handled well. Short wedge, tapering to a blunt finish at the muzzle. His head is rounded between the ears. Medium sized ears of good shape and set - can hold them a little upright at times so as not to follow the contours of the overall head. Good nose break. Slight bump on the nose itself. Chin has depth and is level. Level bite. His eyes could be larger and they appeared quite sore today at times. Intense chartreuse in colour. They need more definition with a rounder lower lid and straighter top lid and look somewhat narrow at the moment. He also has a slightly heavy brow and this coupled with the shape of his eyes detracts from the overall desired Burmese look. Excellent muscular body of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, large paws which are oval in shape. Tail slightly thick and could taper more towards the end and is a little short to balance. Good coat texture laying close to his body with a nice with a good texture – he did “fluff” it up at times with his mood. Creamy lilac in colour with a slightly bluer tones area on his face mask. Nicely presented and “starting to feel his feet” as an adolescent. 2nd Willmont’s Penwynkatz Sundae Surprise 27e 24.08.08.Nice well grown older girl. Medium wedge, tapering at the muzzle a little narrow and overall her wedge is fractionally long for the standard. Top of her head is slightly rounded between the ears. Medium sized ears of good shape and set. Slight rounding at the brow and needing more nose break which is somewhat of a dip at the moment. Nose has a bump in the middle and rolls off at the tip. Chin is slightly shallow and receding. Level bite. Eyes are fractionally small to balance her head however are of a good shape. Nice golden chartreuse in colour. Good muscular body of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Nice tail of good shape needs a little more length to balance. Good coat texture laying close to her body. Nice brown tortie- good distribution and mingling of colour- no points however gives an overall impression of this lass. No white. Presented very well and was in good condition 3rd Kempe’s Oakenshield Fortissimo 27d 14.12.08Friendly outgoing person. Nicely grown for his age. Very similar indeed to his sister. Medium wedge, tapering to the muzzle, again like his stable mate, at present is a little fine to balance the rest of his head – teething badly again which could be the reason for this. Rounded top of head between the ears which are medium sized and of good shape and set. Slight rounding at the brow and acceptable nose break which had a bump and a roll off at the tip. Chin is shallow and receding. Level bite. Eyes are slightly small and fractionally oriental in shape needing more definition and rounding on the bottom line and straighter on the top line. His eyes are intense yellow/ orange in colour with an inner green rim. Lovely muscular body of good weight for size. Legs in proportion, paws neat and oval in shape. Tail of good shape of good length and balances. Really good coat texture laying close to his body with a nice gloss to it - it is vey mature for this lad’s age. Pale tangerine in colour with minimal barring on his inner front legs and slight smudges on the back legs - very well presentation and in the peak of health. 4th Brown’s Jownorb Galadriel Peri 27g F 02.11.08 – see open classBedford and District Cat Club AV Foreign Kitten1st Cragg’s Magical Miz Tiggywinkle 33a27sxWhat an absolute poppet. Charming outgoing and wagging her tail in glee at being handled and having a cuddle. I thought she was a little cracker. Overall lovely type Head is short with a flat top. Nice depth to head. Good whisker break with stubbly whiskers. Very good stop. Chin is firm and level and has good depth. Level bite. Excellent expression - lovely eyes for shape and set giving a really pleasing Devon look. Attractive blue colour (no points for colour but again give an overall impression) Ears good size, nice shape with good width at base, and well set with tufts. Very elegant neck – lovely substance with broad chest she “picks up” very well indeed and has excellent size and muscle. Slim legs with small oval paws. Tail is of medium thickness and a good length. Covered with short fur all over her body with is even being the same length on her body and extremities and is developing and coming through. Tummy equally covered and even. I do like to comment on pattern to give an overall impression even though there are no points for this – she is the most attractive darker pointed lass with nice warm to the colour. Very well presented. Excellent temperament – adorable little miss outgoing and totally enjoying her day out. I later congratulated her proud mum who was beaming from ear to ear. I shall definitely watch out for her in the future. What a little time waster! 2nd Hamilton’s Talltrees Amadahy 84 31t F 14.10.08 see previous class above3rd Bernard's Mimaperks Solitaire 74e F 08.09.08Nice well grown lass. Very little points restriction to extremities .Excellent condition and presentation Bedford and District CC AV SH Kitten or Neuter1st Lowell’s Pr SuspiriaWiliam Beckford 37k MN 21.04.07Overall good type, nice wedge. Slightest dip in profile. Nose has a slight bump. Chin shallow and recedes. Nice eye shape. Very pale green in colour. Good ears - could have been slightly larger to balance the strength of his head. Level bite. Lovely rich warm cinnamon colour which was essentially sound to the roots. Nice texture. Hefty body and has lost his svelte lines somewhat at the moment but haven’t we all and some of us never had it! Excellent temperament and presentation. 2nd James-Hart’s Adaatesh Eric 29c 21.01.06Had had enough by the time we got to him Feisty and bad tempered, handled well out of the pen but struck out when he went back in. Essentially of sound type - nice head with good ears. Straight profile with good green eyes. Shallow receding chin. Level bite. Good body which was again slightly spoilt by the extra weight he was carrying. Coat fractionally long however he fluffed it out somewhat whilst he was having his paddy.
