Thank you to Linda and Alan Ward for inviting me to judge. I had a lovely day handling many super exhibits. Mr Ian Macro stepped in to steward for me. Many thanks for your hard work and excellent handling of the exhibits and for marking up my catalogue.

AC NON SELF PERSIAN PREMIER NEUTER MALE. (8 cats entered & 6 present)


GR PC – ABBOTT’S PR TAMOSAH ELIJAH (53) (MN) 04.08.06

Two year and eight month old black pewter lad of good size and weight. Lovely cobby body on short, sturdy legs. Broad, rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Large, round eyes of a good orange colour. Wide, snub nose with a brick red nose leather outlined in black. Bite near level, full apple cheeks and firm chin. Excellent head balance. Full coat, prepared to the last hair, soft and free flowing. The undercoat was of a super, silvery white and there was a nice black mantle over the back, for perfection I would have liked a little more density to the mantle. The chin, stomach, chest and underside of the tail were of a sparkling white. Slight shading to the legs. Frill and ear tufts pure silvery white. Short, full tail balanced the body. Beautiful lad.

RES PC – WILLIAM’S PR RIASCATZ SIMPLY RED (12a5) (MN) 31.03.06

Three year and three week old red & white bi-colour lad of good size and weight. Cobby body on short, sturdy legs. Broad, rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Bold, round eyes of a deep orange colour. Snub, wide nose. Bite slightly undershot, apple cheeks and firm chin. Excellent head balance. Full coat, well prepared, soft and free flowing, there were just a few white hairs which needed removing from some of the coloured areas to have given better definition to the white and red areas. The white was pristine and the red rich and sound. White chevron to face with small red patches under eyes. White bib and tummy. Nice red patches to the body. Short, fully coloured tail balanced the body. Lovely lad.

GR PC – EDWARD’S GR CH & PR DELAVALE SWEETDREAMS (12a7) (FN) 25.06.02

Six year and ten month old cream and white girl in good condition. Medium size and weight. Cobby body on short, little legs. Broad, rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Round eyes of a pale orange colour. Wide, snub nose.  Level bite, apple cheeks and firm chin. Head well balanced. The coat was of quite a good length, well prepared, soft and free flowing. The white pristine, cream nice and pale and quite sound with good clarity to the cream patches. White face with cream to the forehead and over head, cream chin. White bib and tummy. Nice cream patches to the body. Short, fully coloured tail balanced the body. Lovely temperament.

RES PC – BEATTIE’S CH & PR BARNILUV BLUBELLE (13) (FN) 27.05.03

Five year and ten month old blue cream girl of medium size and weight. Cobby body on short legs. Broad, rounded head with medium sized ears, well furnished and placed. Round eyes of a good orange colour. Reasonably short nose. Bite a little undershot, full cheeks and firm chin. Head quite well balanced. Coat of good length, well prepared, soft and free flowing. The cream and blue were of a medium tone and quite well intermingled, all legs intermingled with both colours. Short, full tail balanced the body. She was displaying a little attitude today.

1ST BOB – EDIKER’S PICKWICK SASSYLADY (2a) (F) 12.11.08

Five month old girl of medium size and weight. Lovely cobby body on short, little legs. Broad, nicely rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Round eyes of a promising muddy orange colour. Wide, snub nose. Bite slightly undershot, apple cheeks and firm chin. Head already showing very good balance. Full coat, excellently prepared, soft and free flowing and the white was pristine. Short, full tail balanced the body. Pretty girl with a promising future.

TORTIE OR CHOCOLATE TORTIE & WHITE KITTEN


1ST BOB – HOWARD’S PURRDREAMZ TOUCH OFCLASS (12/1) (F) 21.09.08

Seven month old dominant tortie and white girl of medium size and weight. Cobby body on short, sturdy legs. Broad, rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Round eyes developing a nice orange colour, for perfection I would have liked the eyes a little larger. Short nose. Bite near level, apple cheeks and firm chin. Head well balanced. Coat of reasonable length, well shown, soft and free flowing. The white pristine, black glossy and the red rich. Red and black patches to the face with white areas to the cheeks and forehead. Large red and black patches to the body. White bib and tummy. Right front leg white, other legs broken with colour. Short, fully coloured tail of both colours balanced the body. Pretty girl with a lovely temperament.

1ST BOB – BROWN’S ACRESWAY GUCCI (70.13b4) (F) 23.08.08

Eight month old lilac colourpoint girl of medium size and weight. Cobby body on short, sturdy legs, good breadth to the chest and firm rump.  Head developing good width with a slight bump at present. Medium sized ears, nicely rounded, settling into position. Round eyes of a pale blue colour. Short nose. Level bite, cheeks filling out well and firm chin. Head developing good balance. The coat was well shown, quite plush in texture, just lacking a little undercoat, standing well from the body. The coat was of a lovely magnolia white, free from shading as was the tummy. The points colour to the ears, mask and legs were of a bluey lilac colour, nicely matching, the colour to the tail was of a pleasing pinkish lilac colour. Full mask to the face. Short, thick tail balanced the body. Lovely temperament. Promising kitten.

One year and ten month old red colourpoint lad of good size and weight. Lovely cobby body on short, sturdy legs. Broad, rounded, masculine head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Large, round eyes of a good blue colour. Wide, snub nose. Bite a little undershot, apple cheeks and firm chin. Excellent head balance. Full coat, prepared to the last hair, soft and free flowing. The coat was of a lovely apricot white colour, free from shading as was the tummy. The points colour to the ears, mask, legs and tail were of a rich red, matching well in tone. Full red mask to the face. Short, full tail balanced the body. Super lad, Lovely temperament.

2ND NEALE’S CH CUSHKA JUSTANILLUSION (10) (M) 30.08.07

One year and seven month old chinchilla lad of good size and weight. Lovely cobby body on short, sturdy legs. Very good breadth to the head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Large, round eyes of a nice emerald green colour. Wide, snub nose with a brick red nose leather outlined with black as were the eye rims and lips. Bite acceptable, apple cheeks and firm chin. Excellent head balance. Full coat, prepared to the last hair, soft and free flowing. The undercoat was pure white showing a nice, reasonably even black tipping. The chin, ear furnishings, stomach and chest were all pure white. Short, full tail balanced the body. Another super lad. Lovely temperament.

3RD THORPE’S CH CLANDELIA PRINCE CHARMING (6f) (M) 04.04.08

One year old cream smoke lad of very good size and weight. Cobby body on short, sturdy legs. Broad, rounded, masculine head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Round eyes of a deep orange colour. Wide, snub nose. Bite fractionally undershot with concave uppers, apple cheeks and firm chin. Head well balanced. Full coat, well prepared, just a little woolly in texture. The undercoat was lovely and pale covered by a medium cream topcoat giving a nice contrast to the coat. There was silvering to the ear tufts and frill. Good full cream mask to the face. Short, full tail balanced the body. Good temperament.

Young ten month old red lad of very good size and weight. Cobby body on short, sturdy legs. Broad, rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Large, round eyes of a good orange colour. Wide, snub nose. Bite slightly undershot, apple cheeks and firm chin. Very good head balance showing excellent maturity for his age. Full coat, prepared to the last hair, soft and free flowing. The overall red tone to the coat was of a lovely vibrant, rich shade, showing very little shading. Short, full tail balanced the body. Lovely lad with a good temperament.

2ND EDIKER’S PRETTYPAWS BLACK MAGIC (1) (M) 18.06.08

Another young lad of good size and weight. Cobby body on short, sturdy legs. Broad, well rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Round eyes of a good orange colour. Wide, snub nose. Level bite with concave uppers, apple cheeks and firm chin. Head well balanced. The coat was of quite a good length, well prepared, soft and free flowing. The coat is in the middle of changing from kitten coat into adult and at present is showing some greying browning to the flanks. The best black colour was to the head, ears and over the shoulders. Short, full tail balanced the body. Lovely lad. Super temperament.

3RD BROWN’S CH ADVILO DOODLESHOES (13b4) (M) 20.06.06

Two year and ten month old lilac colourpoint lad of good size and weight.  Cobby body on short legs. Broad, rounded head with medium sized ears, well furnished and placed. Round eyes of a nice blue colour. Short nose. Bite slightly undershot, apple cheeks and firm chin. Head showing quite good balance. Full coat, well prepared, just a little woolly in texture. The coat was of a lovely magnolia white, free from shading and the lilac points to the ears, mask, legs and tail were of a nice colour, well matching. Full lilac mask to the face. Short, full tail balanced the body. Good temperament.

2ND WEATHERLEY’S PICKWICK HAPPYTHOUGHTS (13) (F) 12.11.08

Five month old blue cream sister of the white above. Medium size and weight. Cobby body on short legs. Broad, rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Round eyes of a promising muddy orange colour. Snub nose. Bite slightly undershot, apple cheeks and firm chin. Head developing good balance. The coat was of a reasonable length, well prepared but the cream and blue needed to be of a paler tone. The face was mostly blue displaying some cream intermingling and a few small cream patches. The body also displayed some intermingling but also a few more patched areas of cream and blue. All legs broken with cream and blue, again some intermingling and a few small patches of colour. At present the overall appearance to the coat was of a slightly patchy rather dark tone. Hopefully when in full coat it will look more intermingled and with her new coat a slightly paler tone might develop. Short, full tail balanced the body.

Five year and eight month old black lad of medium size and weight. Lovely cobby body on short, sturdy legs. Broad, well rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Large, bold, round eyes of a reasonable orange colour. Wide, snub nose. Bite slightly undershot and a little untidy due to age. Apple cheeks and firm chin. Head well balanced. Full coat, excellently prepared, soft and free flowing. The black was glossy and sound. Short, full tail balanced the body. Lovely temperament.


3RD VALENTINE’S GR PR ANSTEYN LOTTIE (4) (FN) 18.08.04
       
Four year and eight month old red girl of medium size and weight. Cobby body on short legs. Broad, rounded head with neat ears, well furnished and placed. Round eyes of a good orange colour. Snub nose. Level bite, apple cheeks and firm chin. Face showing good balance, although I would have preferred the head a little larger to balance better with the body. Full coat, very well prepared, soft and free flowing. The red was of an excellent tone and quite sound. Short, full tail balanced the body. Lovely temperament.

1ST JONES’S COONFLAKES QUANTUMOFSOLACE (64/41d sw) (MN) 17.09.08

Seven month old red silver classic tabby and white lad of good size and weight. Long body, well boned and muscled, broad chest and firm rump. Long, tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears, well feathered and tufted, held high on head with a good gap between. Round amber eyes with a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow, concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high. Level bite. The muzzle was square and of a good width, chin of good width and depth. Excellent head balance. Very good show preparation, the coat was still a kitten coat at present but nice and glossy, developing length of fur to the flanks and frontal ruff. Belly and breeches shaggy and feet tufted. The red markings were of a nice tone on a silvery ground colour. Silvering to the ear furnishings and ruff. White to the chin, bib, tummy and all four feet. Good tabby pattern to the face. Butterfly over the shoulders and oysters to the flanks, the spine lines were coming to the back. Barring to the coloured areas of the legs and rings to the tail. Good temperament.

2ND BARLETTA’S COONTASTIC COPACOBANA (64/41 cw) (F) 12.11.08

Five month old classic tortie tabby and white girl of good size and weight for her age. Long body, well boned and muscled with good breadth to chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears, well feathered, with small tufts, held high on head with a good gap between. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow, concave curve to the profile. High cheek bones. Level bite. Muzzle square of quite good breadth, good depth to chin, just needing a fraction more width. Head showing good balance. Excellent preparation displaying a glossy kitten coat just beginning to develop length of fur to the flanks and frontal ruff. Belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted. White to the muzzle, bib and all four legs. White tummy with a red patch to it. The face showed a nice tabby pattern. There were lovely tortie patching to the face, head, body and tail but the lovely patching did make the pattern to the body hard to see. There was a faint butterfly to the shoulders, the spine lines and oysters could not be made out. Nice rings to the tail. Pretty girl with a lovely temperament.

3RD CHAMBER’S IKTOMI AMAZING GRACE (66 aw) (F) 12.09.08

Seven month old blue mitted Ragdoll of medium size and weight, quite good breadth to the chest. Nice breadth to head with medium sized ears, well furnished with rounded tips with a good, flat plane between. Well opened eyes developing a nice blue colour, at present a little two toned in colour. Medium length nose with a gentle dip in profile. Scissor bite, full cheeks and firm chin. Head developing good balance. The body was of a lovely bluish white and the points colour were of a well matching bluish grey. White mittens to front feet. White chin, chest and underside. White back legs. Long bushy tail balanced the body.

1ST OSLAVIO’S ROSINELLA FIGARO (13c3) (MN) 08.05.08

Eleven and a half month old chocolate Birman lad of good size, well boned. Good breadth to the head with medium ears, quite well spaced between. Almost round eyes of a nice blue colour. Medium length nose with a slight dip in profile, there was a very slight bump to the profile. The cheeks were quite full, just showing a slight pinch. Level bite, chin full and well developed. Head developing good balance, just lacking a little maturity. Medium length tail, reasonably bushy, balances the body. The coat was excellent prepared, silky in texture, quite nice ruff and curled tummy. The coat was an ivory white colour. The points colour to the ears and mask were of a medium chocolate tone and the legs and tail were of a nicer milk chocolate shade. The chocolate mask to the face was full with the whisker pads being slightly paler. The white gloves to the front feet were quite even with the left glove going slightly up to the outside edge. The white on the underside of the right paw reached the stopper pad. Nice even white socks to the back feet. The white gauntlets to the back legs were of a good length, well matching and nicely tapering. Good temperament.

2ND TERRY’S ELMCOON FREDERICO FRACASSO (64/20) (MN) 01.12.06

Two year and four month old brown classic tabby Maine Coon lad of good size and weight. Long body, well boned and muscled with a broad chest and firm rump. Long, tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears, well feathered and tufted held quite high on head with a good gap between. Round yellow eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile, cheek bones high. Level bite, muzzle square of good width with nice width and depth to the chin. Head showing good balance. The coat was well shown with a nice, glossy, substantial top coat with good length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted. The tabby markings were dense, shown off by a rich agouti ground colour. Good tabby pattern to the face. Lovely classic pattern to the body, legs barred and tail ringed. Unfortunately today his bad temper let him down.

3RD GODFREY’S ADATELO AMARULA CREAM (66d) (MN) 01.11.07

Seventeen month old red Ragdoll lad of good size and weight lacking a little maturity and facial balance as yet. Long body developing good bone and muscle. Medium ears spaced quite well apart with a flat plane between. Well opened eyes of a reasonable blue colour. Medium length nose with a gentle dip in profile. Level bite, cheeks quite full and firm chin. Head still needs time to balance out. The coat was a little short at present of a nice pale cream colour. The points were of a nice red tone. Full red mask. The coat needed a little more preparation and the texture to the body was a little coarse. He was also a tad bit grumpy today.

1ST MCQUILKIN’S NORACOON GORGEOUS GEORGE (64/41ds) (MN) 22.07.08

Young nine month old red silver classic tabby lad of very good size and weight. Long body, well boned and muscled, broad chest and firm rump.  Long, tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears, well feathered and tufted, held high with a good gap between. Large, round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile, cheek bones high. Scissor bite, muzzle square of good width, chin of good width and depth. Excellent head balance. Coat very well prepared, showing a lovely, glossy, substantial top coat with good length of coat to the flanks, frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted. The markings were of a rich red on a silver ground colour. Face showed a nice tabby pattern. Butterfly over shoulders, spine lines quite good down back, oysters to flanks. Legs well barred and rings to the tail. Lovely lad with a good temperament.
