My good friend TREVOR COOKE kindly came especially to steward for me. Grateful thanks, Trevor; I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Here’s to next time!
ASIAN SMOKE or BURMILLA KITTEN. 1 present.
1st & BoB WILLIAMS & PALLETT’s KENNBURY GLIMPSEOFSHE. 72 43aq Female. 4 mths, 3 wks. Short wedge of good width showing a slight teething pinch today, wide gently rounded top of head, broad based large ears with rounded tips & forward tilt are spaced well apart thus continue the line of the upper part of the face. Profile shows rounded brow & forehead, well defined break to nose that has a small bump on it, the leather of which is pinkish blue with a blue outline, firm level chin, level bite. Large lustrous greenish-yellow eyes (she was closing the left which was slightly swollen) have dark blue outline & pale beige coloured spectacle-like surrounds, are spaced well apart & are shaped so that the upper lids have a slight downward slant, the lower being fuller & more rounded thus have the typical scowl. Well grown girl of good weight, has slender well shaped body with fit firm feel, rounded chest, straight back which is looking just a little long at present ( just reached the rapid growth phase I suspect); elegant muscular legs, neat oval paws that have bluish-pink pads, broad based tapering tail is of good length thus balances body. Lovely short, fine, close-lying coat with satin texture & healthy shine is of soft silvery blue that is quite heavily shaded on the top coat but gets gradually paler down the hair shaft, has one bar inside each foreleg, a broken necklace, slightly darker dorsal area, indeterminate marks on her tummy & slightly darker tail tip. Lovely lass shown in good physical condition.
RED BURMESE ADULT. 1 present (+ for BoB only)
1st CC & BoB BELL’s HOBBERDY MEDORAS GOLDBERRY. Female. 3 yrs, 9 mths.Lovely short blunt wedge of excellent width, top of head is wide but has flattened out now; large ears are well shaped & set. Profile shows rounded brow, flat forehead, well defined break, chin is shallow & recedes thus is out of alignment with tip of nose, bite is level although her upper incisors are concave. Gorgeous yellow chartreuse eyes have mucky corners but are well sized, shaped & set thus have the unique Burmese “Eff-off or die” expression! Mature, stylish queen of very good size, weight & conformation with required muscular athletic feel, lissom limbs, super tail has a lovely “paintbrush” tip is of very good length thus balances body. Super sleek coat with satin texture & highly polished finish is of lovely light bright tangerine colouring. A sweet, serene queen shown in top physical condition (but needed her eyes cleaning as part of her show preparation) – why on earth haven’t I seen this beauty before?! She must surely go all the way.
CREAM BURMESE NEUTER. 1 PRESENT.
1st PC & BoB RIDDLE’s OAKFORD SWEET WILLIAM. MN. 9 mths, 4 wks.Immature head type as yet – fairly short blunt wedge is of acceptable width, wide but slightly flat top of head, ears are well sized, shaped & set. Profile shows rounding to brow, flat forehead, well defined break to sloping nose, firm level chin. Buttercup yellow eyes that are slightly deep set are well shaped & spaced apart but should be rather larger & more lustrous. An elegant young man of very good size who is immature thus looks unbalanced at present, well muscled body has good heavy feel, well shaped & muscled legs, neat oval paws, well shaped tail balances. Short, sleek shining coat of lovely well powdered medium cream has required satin texture, a broken necklace & a couple of smudges inside his forelegs. A sweet, cuddly chap in top condition who once he has fully matured should go all the way.

1st. LOVELL’s Ch KENNBURY AMENARTAS. Chocolate BCR Ticked Tabby Female. 2 yrs, 4 mths.Lovely balanced short wedge of very good width looking slightly square in the muzzle today as she was puffing out her whisker pads, good width to gently rounded top of head, large broad based ears with rounded tips & forward tilt are set well apart thus follow the line of the upper part of the face. Profile shows rounded brow & forehead, distinct break to short nose the leather of which is pinkish brown in colour with a chocolate brown outline, firm level chin, level bite. Lovely large greenish yellow eyes with dark outline & paler spectacle-like surrounds, have a smudge of colour in the inner corners & ribbons from the outer corners; are large, lustrous, well shaped so that the upper lids have the required slight downward slant, the lower lids having a fuller curve & are spaced well apart thus have the unique scowling expression. Elegant mature queen has weighty but muscular body of good size, rounded chest, straight back, elegant well muscled legs, neat oval paws have pinkish brown pads & chocolate colour up the heels towards the hocks, tapering tail with solid chocolate brown coloured tip, is too short thus fails to balance body. Super short fine sleek coat has satin texture & healthy shine, has two bands of well defined chocolate ticking extending well down the shaft, darker spine line, ‘M’ shape & “skull cap” on forehead, leg bars & two broken necklaces. A sweet & lovely queen shown in top condition.
2nd.ROBINSON’s Ch KARESAMA SILVER SEASHADOW. Brown Silver (BCR) Shaded Female. 3 yrs, 7 mths. Short blunt wedge of very good width, wide but rather flat top of head, large broad based ears with rounded tips & forward tilt are set well apart thus follow the line of the upper part of the face. Profile shows rounding to brow, flat forehead, distinct break to nose the leather of which is pale pinkish brown with a darker brown outline, level but shallow chin, level bite. Rather deep set pale green eyes have dark brown outline & paler spectacle-like surrounds, have a smudge of colour in the inner corners & ribbons from the outer corners; are large, lustrous, well shaped so that the upper lids have the required slight downward slant, the lower lids having a fuller curve & are space well apart thus have the unique mean expression. Mature queen of medium size lacking just a little in substance today, well shaped body has rounded chest & straight back, slim muscular legs of good length, neat oval paws have brown pads & a stripe of colour running from the heels up the hocks, tapering tail of very good length has a solid brown coloured tail tip. Close-lying fine glossy coat with satin texture is rather long, muted brown colour in the top third of the hair shaft pales gradually down to silver undercoat, and has a darker coloured spine line also slight tarnishing on her nose. An amiable lady in good physical condition.

1st. FRANCIS’s HOBBERDY STILEWAY MATILDA. Choc Tortie BCR Ticked Tabby Female. 13 mths.Immature head type as yet – short wedge of good width looking slightly fine in the muzzle still, gentle rounding to wide top of head, large broad based ears with rounded tips & forward tilt are set well apart thus continue the line of the upper part of the face. Profile shows rounded brow & forehead that shows the typical skull cap & ‘M’ shape, distinct break to sloping nose that has pinkish brown leather with a chocolate outline; deep level chin has some acne on it, untidy but level bite. Expressive greenish yellow eyes with dark outline & paler spectacle-like surrounds, are well spaced apart, have a smudge of colour in the inner corners & ribbons from the outer corners; are large, lustrous, well shaped so that the upper lids have the required slight downward slant, the lower lids having a fuller curve. Young queen of medium size has well shaped muscular body of good weight, elegant well muscular legs, neat oval paws have pinkish brown pads & colour up the heels to the hocks, tapering rather thick tail of good length has a solid warm chocolate coloured tip the colour of which extends up & along the spine. Short fine sleek glossy coat with satin texture has four bands of well defined warm chocolate ticking on a pale brown pale & red ground & a few pale red broken necklaces. Sweet chatty lass in top condition.
2nd. LOVEGROVE’s CHAMORE WILDTHYME. Chocolate Tortie Smoke BCR Female. 2 yrs, 9 mths.Short blunt wedge is of acceptable width, good width to slightly flat top of head, large broad based ears are spaced well apart, have rounded tips & forward tilt have tufts & quite long furry fringes on the inner edges. Profile shows rounding to brow, flat forehead, acceptable break to broad aquiline nose, firm level chin, mobile bite. Lovely large greenish yellow eyes with dark outline are well shaped so that the upper lids have the required slight downward slant, the lower lids having a fuller curve & are spaced well apart thus have the unique scowling expression. Mature, well balanced queen has weighty but muscular body of good size, rounded chest, straight back, slim muscular legs, neat oval paws, tapering tail balances. Silky feeling glossy coat is close-lying but rather long, is of a warm milk chocolate tortied with shades of red, the amount of smoke undercoat varies but where the colour is darkest seems to come about half way up the shaft, but generally there is little evidence of smoking neither is there evidence of silvery markings on the forehead or around the eyes. Lovely lass in top condition.
3rd. BEALE’s HURTLEPUSS TALULLAH. Black Tortie Ticked Tabby Tiffanie Female. 2 yrs, 9 mths.
AV ARISTOCRAT ADULT Part B. 6 PRESENT.A quality class with many sadly going card-less.
1st. CAUNTER’s THICKTHORN MADRAS. Chocolate Ocicat Female. 18 months.Good wedge carried on a well muscled arching neck is longer than its width, has required slight curve from muzzle to cheek, a lovely strong square muzzle & moderate whisker pinch. Profile shows gentle rise from bridge of nose to brow, dark lines on cheeks, intricate ‘M’ shape on forehead, lines running over the head & between the ears, required slight dip, broad nose has pink leather with a chocolate outline, strong chin & level bite. Large deeply cupped ears with rounded tips & tufts are set neither too high nor too low have pale thumb marks on the backs. Expressive yellow eyes outlined in chocolate have an oblique slant to the ears, are almond in shape, of very good size & are well spaced apart. An elegant lass of very good size just a little immature & unbalanced at present has long solid muscular body of very good bone & substance, good depth to broad chest, straight back, powerful well muscled legs of medium length have broken bracelets, neat oval paws have chocolate pink pads, dark marks on the hocks, broad based tapering tail is of very good length, has the required darker tip & lots of rings interspersed with small spots. Super short, sleek, shining coat has required pale copper agouti ground colour, satin texture & sheen. Lovely distinct chocolate pattern comprising lovely spotty tum, small spots on the withers & down the shoulders, spotted spine line, broken necklaces & fabulous strongly contrasting bulls eye designs along rib cage & on torso made up of larger thumb shaped spots. A really super lass in top condition who handled very well.
2nd. DAVIS’s STILEWAY BEAJOLAIS Blue Tortie Burmese Female. 2 ½ years.Super wedge, top of head & ears. Profile shows rounded brow & forehead, definite break & deep level chin. Large lustrous yellow-chartreuse eyes enhanced by mascara are slightly deep set but of good shape, well spaced apart & have that unique scowl! Well balanced queen in her prime has weighty but muscular body, shapely limbs, well shaped tail prefer longer to balance. Quality glossy coat of attractively combined pastel colours has satin texture & sheen. Shown in top condition, this lass who is very like her gorgeous mum was happier in her pen. Unlucky to meet winner today whom she ran to a whisker.

1st.GARDNER’s Ch LORASTON FIORRA MAYE. Tortie & White BSH. 3 yrs, 10 mths.A really gorgeous girl of very good type & lovely short crisp coat – who couldn’t wait to come out of her pen to meet us. I could have taken her home. She is a credit to all her connections.
2nd. ROSS’s ADTESH BURLINGTON BERTIE. Blue BSH Male. 13 mths, 2 wks. A promising adolescent chap with the most gorgeous amber eyes but looking rather leggy & unbalanced at present; his coat was also rather flat along the spine.
3rd. MAXTED’s SARGENTA SILVER ZENO. Black Silver Spotted BSH Male. 10 mths, 1 wk.Another promising spotty from the Sargenta stable – just lost a point on the tarnishing on his nose.

1st. LANG’s LAMONDOR SAMIR SUNDAR. Lilac Burmese Male. 6 mths, 3 wks.A really fabulous chap – my nomination for BOV! Super type, typical expression & very well presented. I look forward to seeing him again.
2nd. CASE’s STARRSAILOR MAUVELOUSMISTY. Silver Egyptian Mau Female. 3 mths, 3 wks. Super type & really typical expression, her pattern was fairly distinct, her coat was slightly long & she needs to muscle up a bit. A little sweetie whose career I shall follow with interest.
3rd. YOUNG’s MIBAYBESE MINNIE HAUK. Blue BSH Female. 7 mths, 2 wks.
