Class 401- Chocolate Burmese Kitten

1st & BOB – WILLIAMS STARRYCHATS PHOENIX (27b) – 17.07.08

a chocolate kitten just short of adulthood. A short wedge, with good width at cheek bones tapering down to the blunt muzzle. Gentle rounding, to top of head between the ears which are set wide apart. The ears are broad at the base and have rounded tips, but are slightly large. Eyes are of the correct shape with a rounded bottom line and a slightly flatter top line slanting to the nose. The eye colour is yellow chartreuse. In profile the head is a good depth. There is a gently rounded brow, good depth of head, and ears have the correct slight forward tilt. The nose break could be more distinct and the chin is slightly shallow and recedes slightly. The bite is level, but some of her incisors have not erupted. The body is of a good weight and well muscled, with slender legs and neat oval paws. The tail is a good length to balance and tapers gently to the tip. Coat is close lying but a little coarse in texture is places and slightly long on the back. It is a cool tone of chocolate, which is a little patchy in places and there is faint barring on her rear legs at knee height. A very friendly kitten.

Class 406 – AOC Tortoiseshell Burmese Kitten

BOSWORTH’S SHIVAYA LUVINAMIST (27j) – 14.12.08 - 1st & BOB

An appealing baby with a short wedge, good width at the cheek bones tapering down to the blunt muzzle. There is gentle rounding to the top of head between the ears which are set wide apart. The ears are broad at the base and have rounded tips. Eyes have the correct shape with a rounded bottom line and a slightly flatter top line slanting to the nose. The eyes are pale yellow chartreuse in the hall light ad have a good Burmese expression. In profile there is good depth to the head and a gently rounded brow, ears have the correct slight forward tilt. Nose break could be a little more distinct, chin is level, but would prefer a little more depth for perfection. She has a good stance with the hind legs slightly longer than the front legs. She is a very good weight for such a young kitten; she has slender legs and neat oval paws. The tail is a good length to balance and tapers gently to the tip. Coat is slightly long, but is close lying and in excellent condition with warm tones of lilac and cream. A promising girl, who was Best Burmese Kitten.

2 – PALLISTER’S PENWYNKATZ GOINGFORGOLD – (27j) 24.08.08 – 2ND –

However they are slightly deep set and are pale yellow in colour. In profile there is good depth to the head and a gently rounded brow, ears have the correct slight forward tilt. I would prefer to see a nose break that is distinct. The chin is not level and very shallow, bite is level.
