At a Special General Meeting on 28 September 2008 the members of the

Singapura Cat Club voted to expel Dr RWigley from the Club, and

consequently from his post as Secretary of the Club. The Committee

has elected Miss Jean Sheward to the vacant post and correspondence and

DrWigley also ceases to be Secretary of the BAC. The Club is seeking

applications for this post, but in the meantime BAC correspondence should be

sent to the Chairman, Ms Judith Mercer, at 62 Bryan Road Blackpool, Lancashire

FY3 9BE. DrWigley has declined to return the paperwork which he held as BAC

Secretary and the Club apologises to those probationer judges and stewards

whose progress may have been affected as a result of these events.

Please also note that the Club, which is the only Club for the breed to be

affiliated to the GCCF, has also changed its website address, which is now:
