Sean FarrellDurham County Cat Club 30th May 2009My thanks to Lorraine Gilhespy for the Invitation to Judge, I had a lovely day, the show had a super atmosphere. I was very pleased that my own Sue Barrett stewarded for me. She handled the cats wonderfully as usual and we had a great day together. BROWN TORTOISESHELL BURMESE ADULT FEMALE:1st CC & BOB Andrews ISAJEN MISSMARBLES (27e) (5/8/08. F)Super temperament, purred lots and lots. Gently rounded top of head between medium size ears of good shape and set well apart. Fairly short blunt wedge. Distinctive nose break and a short straight nose to the tip. Medium depth level chin. Untidy but level bite. Large and lustrous chartreuse eyes of good shape and set well apart. Good weight and size body with proportionate slender legs and neat oval paws Straight tail of good length with a rounded tip. Fairly short close lying rich warm seal brown tortie coat with shades of red, satin like in texture. AOC TORTOISESHELL BURMESE ADULT FEMALE:1st & CC Herrington’s SUGARBOWL MY DELILAH (27h) (25/8/08. F)Just over 9 months of age by a few days and already looking quite splendid. Very talkative and playful girl. Gentle rounding to the top of head between slightly large ears of good shape. Medium wedge blunt at the muzzle. Good nose break, fairly short nose just rolls off at the tip. Medium depth level chin. Large lustrous yellow eyes of good shape and set well apart. Medium sized body of good weight. Neat oval paws on slender and proportionate legs. Straight tail of good length with a rounded. Fairly short, close lying chocolate coat interspersed with shades of red, satin like in texture. Considered for and awarded BOB only. Herrington’s CH TEAPOT TICKITTY BOO (27j) (20/2/06. F)
Quite nice type. Expressive chartreuse eyes and quite a feisty look to her. Nice head and ears, fairly good profile. Lovely coat short fine, close lying and satin like in texture. Medium sized ears of good shape and set on a nicely rounded head. Developing cheeks started filling out some. Nice profile. Short broadish nose. Firm chin and a level bite. Lovely round orangey eyes. Good sized body quiet weighty and cobby with proportionate large round paws on thick legs. Thick tail of good length to balance. Crisp dense, medium blue coat almost sound to the roots. Handsome young chap with a lovely temperament, he wanted to be judged. He looked better when out of the pen, seemingly shy but not so. Quite well balanced, medium-large, long muscular body with firm well muscled feel to it. Medium length,proportionate strong muscular legs with stripes and spots and large rounded paws. Medium length tail thick and even, carried low, has a rounded dark tip. Short to medium length dense coat with a soft and luxurious texture. Distinct two toned spots against a rich warm golden toned ground coloured coat. Facial markings clearly defined with an ‘M’ and scarab on the forehead, pencil lines on the cheeks, chin strap and vertical streaks over the top of the head. Two well defined broken necklaces. Broken rings on the tail and spots on the tummy. Broad short wedge of good width, rounded contours and high cheek bones. The head is small in proportion to the body and longer than it’s width. Gentle curve from the forehead to the bridge of the nose with a slight concave curve in profile. Large, broad nose and puffed pads. Broad muzzle, level bite and good depth to the firm rounded chin. Medium sized ears of good shape and set. Hazel almond shaped eyes of good set. 3rd Atkinson’s WESTGARTH STORMCAT (37fn) (8/5/08. M)
A delightful apricot Oriental boy. Quite elegant well developed young chap. Good head type, firm dirty chin of good depth. Green eyes of good shape and set. Long body of good size and weight, with long slender and proportionate legs and neat oval paws. Short, fine, close lying warm apricot silky coat. Lovely natured chap.
