The following statement was taken from The Our Cats messaging service on 26th February 2009

This is a message from The Directors of Our Cats.

It is with deep regret that the continued publication of Our Cats has now become unviable.

We have put a great deal of time, effort and money into this publication and this decision has not been taken lightly.

This situation has been brought about by the knock on effect of our distribution problems in December.

With reduced income from Advertising, Sales and Subscriptions and rising costs it is therefore impossible to continue without further substantial investment.

We have actively sought financial input from other sources but to no avail.

We are still producing Judge Critiques and currently have over 300 formatted awaiting publication.

We have requested GCCF assistance in helping towards the cost of producing the pages currently provided free for Judge's Critiques and GCCF notices.

A further statement will be made after we are in receipt of a reply from the GCCF.
