Kentish Cat Society Ch. Show - 17/10/09 Mrs Lesley MilesMany thanks to Helen, Sean and Sue for my invite. I had a lovely day with some fabulous cats. Also Many many thanks to Shaun Knight who stewarded for me. He handles the cats with such ease and makes them so relaxed. A.C. British or Manx Premier Male1 Gr Pr – Booth[s Gr Ch & Pr Kolinga Cougar (16)A lovely well grown boy with an excellent typical british headshape. Good width between neat small ears. Round chubby cheeks, Excellent Round eyes of orange. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Heavy muscular body standing on short thickset legs and huge rounded paws. Tail in proportion with a rounded tip. Coat of pleasing medium blue, short, dense, and sound to roots. Reserve – Tolhurst’s Ch & Pr Vectensian Sporty Sam (19)Very attractive red tabby boy with a nicely rounded head, wellseat ears, rounded cheeks, super orange eyes, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Heavy body standing on short legs and rounded paws. Excellent tail sporting clear red rings, but just a tad short in length and thin. Lovely rich red tabby pattern on a short coat. A.C. British or Manx Premier Female1 Gr Pr – Harrison’s Pr Diwali Katalina (28)Very pretty girl with an excellent round headshape, wellset ears, lovely round orange eyes, chubby cheeks, short broad nose, lovel bite and firm chin. Body of good weight for her size. Short thickset legs and rounded paws. Tail in proportion. Lovely clear mingling of blue and cream on a short dense coat. Blue Adult – Male1.c.c. & bob – Greethams Lorrclaws Teddy ‘B’Super mature boy for his age. Excellent large rounded headshape with good width between neat small ears. Lovely balanced cheeks, large round eye of deepest gold bordering on orange. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Cobby heavy body, standing ‘4 square’ on short thick legs and large rounded paws. Tail in proportion with a rounded tip. Good clear pale blue coat, which is dense, short , sound to roots and crisp to touch. My nomination for BIS British, which I am so pleased he won. 2nd – Godsmark’s Sheephouse Bobby RockerVery promising young man who just needs to mature. He has a good headshape developing with good width between well set ears, just a little flared at base. Nicely balanced cheeks, round eyes of deep gold, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Body of good weight for his age, he is muscular with good strong legs and rounded paws. Tail of correct length, thick at base with a rounded tip. Excellent pale blue coat, short dense and sound to roots, just showing slight silver tipping at present. 3rd – Shepherd’s Trubrit Jimbojones Well grown boy with a good british headshape. Good width between well set ears, but flared at base. Well balanced cheeks, lovely round eyes of orange colour. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Sturdy boy standing on short thickset legs and rounded paws. Tail of correct length but rather ‘rusty’ in colour in comparison to his body colour of pale blue. His coat is short, dense but rather soft in texture and for perfection I would like it shorter in length. 4th – Potter and Denton’s Evavale Gordon Bennett Very shy boy but well behaved when back in his pen. He has a good round head but his ears are rather large and rather than cheeks, he has jowls which tends to make his headshape unbalanced. Round eyes of pale gold colour. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Good heavy body with short legs and rounded paws. Tail in proportion. Lovely medium blue coat, short, dense and sound to roots. Blue Adult – Female C.C.Withheld – Beesley’s Pushkapaws BonnyblueVery sweet girl with a lovely facial expression. She has a good head shape, ears a little large at present and flared at base. Good round eyes of deep gold. Short nose, level bite and firm chin. Body of medium weight. I would like her heavier, but she is young so has yet to mature. Her coat let her down today, as it is a little long in length and unsound. I was sorry to have to withhold her C.C. but this was due to her coat. Black Silver Tabby Adult – Female1 CC – Graves Sargent Silver YullianaWell grown girl with a sweet tabby expression. Ears a tad large for balance. Little cheeks. Excellent round eyes of green colour. Short broad brick coloured nose. Level bite and firm chin. Good sized body with sturdy legs and rounded paws. Tail of correct length, showing clear rings but rather thin. I would like her black tabby pattern denser in colour but she has that excellent pale silver contrast. Clear butterfly showing on her shoulders, spine lines with just faint brindling, super matching oysters and little spots on her paws. Lovely short dense coat also a lovely temperament. BoB – Nicholson’s Ch. Metallicat Silver Spyda.Black Kitten1st & BOB – Crowther’s Trubrit Black Tulip - FemaleWhat a stunner! Super pretty little girl of excellent type. She has a real ‘applehead’, well rounded with balanced cheeks, neat tiny ears, lovely round eyes of orange colour. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Excellent balanced body of good weight and size for her age of 6 months. Such an ideal age to show a kitten. Stocky legs and rounded paws. Gorgeous thick tail with a rounded tip. Oh, her coat, to die for…..jet black, very short, very dense and sound to roots. No wonder she was chosen to go up for Best british kitten. Blue Tortie and White Kitten1st & Bob – Holloway’s Rayanshel Color By NumbersVery pretty girl of excellent type. Neat round head, well set ears, little cheeks, large round eyes of deep gold. Good depth to body with short thickset legs and rounded paws. Tail of medium length, thick at base with a rounded tip. Good clear patching of pale blue and cream on one side of her body, a little more mingled on the either side. Coat short and dense. 2nd – Harrison’s Diwali AngeliqueSweet little girl, nicely balanced with a round head shape and good ear set, although her ears are a little flared at base. Well rounded eyes with a good orange colour developing from the centres. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Attractive facial markings, nicely patched with blue and cream. Her blue patching being rather dark in colour with some silver tipping. Coat short and fairly dense. 3rd – Harrishon’s Divwali AmeliaLitter sister to Angelique. This little girl is slightly smaller. Her headshape is developing well, ears rather large at present and flared at base. Again, her eye colour is developing from the centres. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Body, legs and paws in proportion. Tail of correct length. Her patching is mainly blue, she really needs more cream patches for balance, and again, the blue is dark in colour and silver tipped at the moment. A.O.C. Spotted Kitten1st & Bob – Worsley-Waring’s Satinmist Blueberry-Tart (30a)Well grown girl for her age of nearly 5 months. Her headshape is rather narrow at present, hopefully as she develops some little cheeks, this will help to balance her head. Ears also very large at the moment and flared at base. Lovely round eyes of deep gold, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Body of good weight for her age with a short coat, but I would like it denser. Tail in proportion to her body with clear rings. Her spotting is well defined but she has some linkage on her shoulder area. Lovely warm mushroom ground colour on her face, neck and legs, but her warmer ground colour has yet to come in on her body, as it is rather ‘cold’ at present. Bi-Coloured Kitten1st & Bob – Willis’ Kabenbe Champagne-Zoe (31a)Pretty little girl of very nice type. Well rounded head but ears rather large at present for balance. Little cheeks developing. Lovely round eyes of orange colour. Attractive facial blaze. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Good sized body for her age with matching legs and paws. Tail of correct length. Well balanced blue patching on a clear white contrast. Her blue patching just has a lot of silver tipping. Coat short and fairly dense. A.C.
