THE LONDON CAT CLUB SHOW By Carole Gainsbury

I would like to thank Maria Chapman for the invitation to judge this year. I had a lovely day and had some great cats and kittens. A big thank you to my steward Hedi, who looked after me and handled the cats with great care.

A.C. NON-SELF PERSIAN CHAMPION (GR CH) MALE

Gr Ch MRS A BRITTLETON, CH LADY GEM PICASO, (12A2), Blue & White Male Adult born, 24.04.2007.

My goodness what a well presented boy and not a hair out of place. He has a broad top of head with neat well placed ears and good ear furnishings. Smooth skull, round pale orange eyes washed out by the lighting in the hall today, snub nose good width to cheeks, almost level bite and firm chin. His body is large with strong short legs and rounded paws. Covered by a fine textured full of life coat that is well prepared free flowing prestige white with pale blue patches of colour. On his face he has a blue patch of colour round the side and above his left eye continuing over his ear, a streak of blue above his right eye extending over his forehead, one small blue patch on his back and a full blue tail. Real sweetie boy and loved a cuddle.

R Gr Ch, MRS D COOKE, CH HOITYHOTITY WINSTON. (12A1) Black & White Male adult, born 17.4.2008.

Nice boy, however rather short on coat today. He has a good top of head, with neat well furnished ears, round orange eyes which could be a tad bigger for perfection, a snub nose, full cheeks, almost level bite and a firm chin. Large body with sturdy legs and rounded paws covered by a well groomed silky fine textured pure white coat with shiny black patches. On his face he has black patches on each side of his face and chin and a black patch on the back of his head and black patches on all four legs with a plumed black tail.

A.C. NON-SELF PERSIAN CHAMPION (GR CH), FEMALE

GR CH MRS K HOWARD CH FALABELLA MERCIE. (11) Female Tortoiseshell adult, born 31.3.2008.

Pretty female with a lovely expression, she has a Good top of head, neat ears with lovely black ear furnishings, smooth skull, round orange eyes just a little washed out by the lighting in the hall today with black eye rims and two toned nose leather. Snub nose, excellent width to her cheeks, level bite and firm chin. Good size body with short strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a well prepared soft and fine in textured black coat with all four legs broken nicely into colours of various shades of red within the shiny black and through her coat, her face is showing shades of rich red in colour, including her full plumed tail.

TORTIE OR CHOCOLATE TORTIE AND WHITE KITTEN.

1st B.O.B, MRS W HOWARD, PURRDREAMZ TOUCH OFCLASS (12 1), Black Tortie and White, born, 21.09.2008.

What a delightful baby, she has a good top of head with neat ears that are nicely furnished with red and black furnishings. Smooth skull, round orange eyes that are still developing in depth of colour, snub nose with full cheeks, level bite and firm muzzle. Good size body with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a well prepared silky and fine textured coat of pure white with shiny black and brilliant red patches with in it. Her front legs are pure white with a red patch and a black patch on her back legs. She has red patches on her ears with red and black patches on her face and a white chin, with black and red patches on her back and a white tummy along with her full tail.

PERSIAN SELF ADULT

1st MRS P ROGERS, ANSTEYN SUNBURST, (4) well grown Red Self Male Adult, born 14.06.2008.

Broad top of head with neat well furnished ears, smooth skull, round orange eyes with deep pink rims and nose leather, snub nose, wide cheeks, almost level bite and a firm chin. He has a large framed body with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a soft textured well prepared sound flowing coat that is deep rich red and lustrous down to his full plumed tail.

2nd MRS I BANGS, LAFREBELLA JAMILIAH, (1). A beautiful Female Adult, born 18.06.2008.

Good width to her head with neat ears and long black ear furnishings. She has a smooth skull, round orange eyes, eye rims nose leather and paw pads are black, snub nose, full cheeks almost level bite and a firm chin. Her body is a medium in size with sturdy legs and rounded paws covered by a well prepared lustrous and silky in texture black sound coat down to her full tail.

3rd MRS D COOKE CH FIRANTY MIDNIGHTSTAR (1) Female Adult, born 18.09.2007.

Another well grown girl with ears well placed and nicely furnished with black furnishings on a good top of head. She has a smooth skull, round orange eyes with a black eye rims and nose leather and paw pads. Snub nose, ample cheeks, almost level bite and a firm muzzle. Good shape body with sturdy legs and rounded paws, covered by a soft textured coat starting the seasonal and not as full as my second placing but well groomed and shiny black coat down to her plumed tail.

A.V. PERSIAN OR S.L.H. DEBUTANTE ADULT.

1st MRS D UEBELE. APPLAUSE POSITIVELY, (66 31a), Blue Bi Colour Ragdoll Adult Male born 30.7.2008.

Broad head, flat plane with nice width between his medium size ears that are nicely furnished. Deep blue eyes slightly oblique and set well apart, nose is a medium in length, cheeks well developed, level bite and a firm muzzle. He has a muscular body with a broad chest, sturdy legs and round tufted paws. Covered by a silky textured bluish white coat with evenly distributed patches down to his tail.

2nd MRS G WEATHERALL-KING, ASHENEEKA BELLINA, (13b12). A pretty ADULT FEMALE BLUE TABBY COLOURPOINT, born 12.08.2008.

Ears well placed and nicely furnished good top of head, smooth skull, round blue eyes, snub nose, full cheeks, almost level bite and firm chin. She has a good shape body with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a soft textured pale coat with good blue tabby points colour to mask, legs and tail.

A.V. PERSIAN OR S.L.H SPECIAL LIMIT ADULT.

1st MRS C TONKS, ZENDIQUE U’VEBEEEN TANGOED, Red Tabby & White Male Adult (70 12a5t), born 09.05.2008.

Round top of head with round tipped ears that are nicely furnished, round expressive bold deep copper eyes, snub nose, good wide cheeks, acceptable bite and firm muzzle. He has a good size body with sturdy legs and rounded paws, covered by a well groomed soft textured plush coat that is standing away from his body with nice thick tail, lovely clear white coat and well defined red tabby patched markings. His face has good rich red tabby markings with a white moustache and a white chin.

2nd MRS E PERCIVAL GR CH BLEUGEMS TEDDIEBEAR (66.31) Ragdoll Bi Colour Male Adult, born 8.8.07.

Medium sized ears set wide and slightly tilt forward with good furnishings, slightly oblique blue eyes, long body the strong legs and rounded paws and a long bushy tail covered by a silky textured dense predominantly beige with evenly distributed patches of white and seal points.

3rd MRS E YEOMAN, CH ESAYA PURFIK PURRINDOORS, (13c5)

A.V. PERSIAN OR S.L.H SPECIAL LIMIT KITTEN.

1st MR & MRS K MAYNARD, GAYEMAUDI BLUEZELAH (13c12), Blue Tabby Birman kitten male, born 11.10.08.

What a handsome male kitten with medium sized and well placed ears and good ear furnishings. Good shaped eyes of blue colour, his nose is medium in size with slight dip in the profile, cheeks are full and round. He has a medium size body with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a silky texture pale coat with good red tabby markings.

2nd MRS A VALE ADNIOLO PHATPAWS BOOTIGIRL (66a) Blue Ragdoll, Female Kitten, born 22.09.2008.

Ears well placed on a broad head with a flat plane, large slightly oblique eyes and set nicely part of a good blue in colour, she has a good shape body with medium in length legs and rounded paws with a long bushy tail, well prepared coat of bluish white with greyish blue points colours,

3rd Mrs & Mrs M Beal, SONNIEFACIO GENTLEMANRUFFIN, (66)

A.V. PERSIAN JUNIOR NEUTER

1st MISS C SAUNDERS, MYSTERE TURBULANCE, (1). Well grown Black Male Neuter born 5.7.2008.

Good top of head with neat well furnished with black ear furnishings. Round orange eyes, with eye rims, nose leather and paw pads black. Full cheeks, level bite and firm muzzle, His body is in proportion with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a well prepared silky fine in texture sound black coat down to his full plumed tail.

2nd MISS, K MEADOWS, FLEURIELLE WHAT SUGAR, (2a). Orange Eyed White Male Adult, with a nice open expression, born 01.12.2007.

Broad top of head with neat ears and good white ear furnishings, smooth, skull, round expressive orange eyes, snub nose with a deep pink nose leather, eye rims and paw pads. He has wide cheeks. Unfortunately unable to assess his bite to day, he was a little unhappy and a firm muzzle. He has a large frame body with strong rounded paws, covered by silky textured sparkling white coat that is well prepared down to his plumed tail. He is a nice boy but not looking his best today.

A.V.PERSIAN OR S.L.H. (LIVING OUTSIDE OF (LONDON) NEUTER.

1st MRS C TONKS, GR CH & PR ZENDIQUE ATZAT ISBORN, (70 8 30a). Blue Spotted Tabby Male Neuter, Born 28.09.2007.

Broad round top of head with neat well furnished ears, smooth skull, round expressive orange eyes, snub nose, nice width to his cheeks, good bite and a firm muzzle, He has a large body with a broad chest, sturdy legs and rounded paws. Covered by a well groomed soft in texture of cool toned beige agouti ground coat and over laid with deep blue spotted tabby markings, good plush dense coat that is standing away from his body with nice thick tail.

2nd MRS L CANNELL, MALALAKAT WOLFMAN JACK, (64 41sw). Silver Tabby Maine Coon Male Neuter, born 10.1.2008.

Large ears and well placed with good furnishings. Slightly aperture eyes that are nicely set with good colour, strong profile, large framed male with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a fine textured silvery white coat with good tabby markings down to his long plumed tail.
