Very many thanks to Maria & her team for an enjoyable day out, my sincere thanks for my invitation, to Vivienne for stewarding once again, always shows a great deal of interest in all the breeds handled regardless of section, with the ability to ask pertinent questions as required. Original Foreign Grand Champion, Male;GR CH NICE'S GR CH MICAJAS CATWEAZLE. 33a 36d.Red Smoke Devon Rex, I confess to a degree of deliberation over this lad, but on balance decided there was enough to justify his certificate not least of which was his very superior temperament. Head possessing a short wedge with high well defined cheeks, good whisker break the muzzle itself a little fine, profile has a good flat skull between the ears, stop quite good, small bump on the nose, chin could; be a little deeper, some acne present, also some gingivitis but the bite itself good. Ears large with short muffs at their base & tufted tips wide jug handle effect to their base, set moderately low. Eyes have good full oval shape perhaps a wee bit more defined in the slant, colour a bluish green tone, quite a quizzical expression. Good neckline, lithe muscular body with slim legs & neat paws, balanced quite fine tail. Coat short, well covered, soft fine texture free of harsh guard hairs, plenty of wave in evidence which is slightly untidy have some flicking to the edges, well covered tummy, no bare areas. His pattern perhaps questionable but as it is irrelevant & was within the right colour range being red & silver in some combination merely worth a mention, condition was excellent & he was extremely fussy & handled beautifully. Original Foreign Grand Champion, Female;GR CH DAVIS'S CH ELBERETH COCOCHANNEL. 23. 11-02-07.Usual Abyssinian, looking very well balanced & mature. Head shows the required medium length moderate wedge, with gentle muzzle contours & slight indent to the line beneath the cheeks, brow rounding gently with very slight profile break, good chin & bite. Ears large & wide at their base, pricked & alert appearance. Eyes pleasing wide almond shape, gentle slant to the nose, lovely bright green tone, highlighted due the black line of pigmentation to their rims. Body was beautifully firm & a very good weight, medium length, legs slim, neat oval paws, broad base to the gently tapering tail of balanced medium length. Coat medium length, not unduly soft having the slight degree of resilience to it & laying close. Good flashes from the eyes onto the brow, more solid coloured skull cap, her ticking & banding very well defined, deepening along her back & down her tail, bar free, heel markings a little low, solid black tail tip. Unfortunately the lighting was not good & had the effect of draining some colours, I would ideally have preferred hers a little brighter particularly to the undercoat but made a degree of allowance due to the conditions. Her condition was excellent & she was very composed. . RES GR CH EBORALL'S CH SILLOC POPPET. 16a. 11-02-07.Russian Blue, I note they share the same DOB, I really liked the look of this queen but she was just a little daintier & petite which is what swung the placings, as this made her look a little less mature than the winner. Head has the required short wedge from the eyes down, with good prominence to the whisker pads, good angle in profile created by the gentle concave curve, her chin could have little more depth, bite good. Ears set tall & pricked, light inner ear furnishing, pointed effect to their tips, could be a fraction larger perhaps. Eyes have gentle slant to the almond shape, good bright green colour. Her body rather dainty & fine boned, with a degree of elegance about her, the legs slender with dainty paws, broader base to the good length tail having a gentle taper. Good quality to the coat, having a good density to the undercoat & soft fine top coat, this fulfils the criteria for double coat. Her colour is a pleasing soft blue which is due to the amount of silvery sheen created by the translucent tips to the hair. Her condition & temperament both very good. Siamese/Balinese Grand Premier, Male;GR PR MARTIN'S PR ABICASA PEER GYNT. 24n. 14-02-08.Caramel Point Siamese, not an overly large chap but beautifully stylish & with an innate knowledge of how to sell it. Beautifully even lines to his medium length wedge with a pleasing balanced triangular appearance, the lines even, excellent profile, good chin, bite fraction over. Ears large & beautifully set, wide flared complementary open base. Wonderful expression of superiority to the eyes, deep blue, the shape & set both so typically oriental. Elegant neckline, body not overly large but good length & very stylish, slender limbs, neat oval paws, good length fine whip tail. His coat was beautifully prepared & very sleek, short & close lying. Some tonal body shading his Blue based Caramel points, well matched, a dark sludgy blue with brown overtones creating a Taupe tone. His condition was super & he was a very confident lad who used what he had to show himself to best advantage. RES GR PR TALBOT'S PR MORALYN REDARROW. 32a. 04-03-07.Red Point Siamese, another lad with a good degree of both style & confidence. Longer length wedge not quite so well balanced as the previous exhibit, slight angle at the bridge of the nose to the otherwise very good profile, good chin, bite okay. Ears large & well set, wide at the base. The eyes though a very good oriental shape are a fraction straighter & deeper in set, a very good depth of blue, would prefer a little more expressive. Long neck the body long & with good muscularity, long slim legs, neat paws, with long tail to balance. His coat could be a little shorter, it appeared to be slightly over groomed with as a result a slight lack of density to give it a sleeker finish. Almost clear near white colour to the body, with good contrast to the red points which were quite bright excluding the paler front stockings. Condition & temperament both excellent. Siamese/Balinese Grand Premier, Female;GR PR MARTIN'S GR CH & GR PR ABICASA CARMINA BURANA. 24c. 13-02-07.Lilac Point Siamese, this girl looked quite lovely today, still beautifully showy & I am still a fan. Beautifully balanced equilateral wedge, lines even, very good profile, good chin, bite a little over. Ears large, wonderful flared wide base to further enhance the wedge, fixed wide low setting. Eyes of such a typical oriental shape & slant, the colour having a pleasing depth & brightness combined with a such an incredibly gentle yet haughty expression. Good neckline, has lost some weight & now looks beautifully toned & firm, slender limbs, the paws neat & oval, tail fine mayhap being picky could be longer. Her coat beautifully prepared, with sleek close lying finish to its shorter length, lovely soft sheen. Clear subtle magnolia hue to the body, excellent contrast to her points which with the exception of the slightly paler stockings were very well matched, soft dove grey with slight pinky tone giving the required degree of warmth. Condition superb, so composed & relaxed it was incredibly difficult to get her to open her eyes initially, I was delighted that she was Best Siamese Neuter, many congratulations. British Bi-Coloured Adult, Male;Considered for & Awarded BOB. POTTER'S GR CH PAMPURRED PABLO-HONEY. 31f. 20-04-06.Cream, very good natured lad was showing very good type. Head broad & well rounded, full cheeks, brad muzzle, slightly heavy brow, chin & bite both good, but with some acne on the chin. Ears smaller medium size, placed well apart & set well. Marginally deep set eyes, but the shape & size generally good, colour making light gold. Body though quite solid & cobby, was a little narrow on the flanks, good bone to the legs & paws, well balanced medium length tail. Coat good density & quite a good degree of crispness to it, quite good shorter length. The cream has quite soft powdery effect & is even as well as free of pattern with the exception of some tail rings, thin white collar line, white on his face with interesting pink & cream nose leather, the white areas clean & well presented. His condition was very good & he handled well. British Black Neuter, Male;PC Not Awarded. 1st. EDMONDS'S IDLEBECK ENRY IGGINS. 18-02-08.This lad was beautifully grown & though his head still has a degree of catching up to do with his really excellent body proportions, his type was impressive. Head round & filling out well if still to mature more fully but still very young so in keeping, broad muzzle, the brow well rounded, good chin & his bite level. Ears reasonably small & placed well the impression neat & tidy. Well rounded shape to the eyes which are large & well open, golden orange colour. Excellent body, lovely solid chunky compact build, broad chest, strong well boned legs, large paws, heavy tail but sadly with a fixed (albeit small) definite kink at its extreme tip, pity as this cost him the certificate. Coat has quite a good shorter length, very good density to it, still a little soft but not out of keeping with his age. Very dense black colour with pleasing degree of glossy sheen. He was a little reserved but with a lovely gentle nature & excellent condition. Considered for & Awarded BOB. GRAHAM’S GR PR TRUBRIT BLACK PRINCE. 28-06-06.Not a large lad & could be a little more masculine in appearance ideally, suffering from a little summer seasonal looseness to his coat. Despite my opening comment the head has breadth was well rounded, the cheeks well filled, rounded brow, broad muzzle, firm chin, good bite. Ears small & placed well, rounded tips, neat & tidy without any distortion to the head shape. Eyes large, well open & round in shape, bright gold colour. Body good compact shape & though small for my taste was all in the correct proportions, with good legs & paws, well balanced medium tail. Coat short & with really excellent degree of density which gave the coat a wonderfully scrunchy texture, that almost crackled beneath your fingers, it was however shedding quite heavily. His colour is a very good dense black. Excellent condition, just needs to sell himself a little more. Ocicat Classic Assessment;Merit to CAUNTER'S AUXARCS HOMER OF THICKTHORN (imp). 73 41bs. 12-02-08.Chocolate Silver, extremely masculine & very impressive lad but not without faults. Broad wedge, masculine jowls, broad nose but not quite the prominence of muzzle, slight break in profile, excellent chin & level bite. Ears rather too large & flared, bonneted forward & held too low. Eyes good shape, slight slant, light yellow colour. Excellent lithe, muscular athletic body, strong legs, oval paws, tail has gentle taper to the its medium length. Quality coat, short & close, lustrous sheen, excellent texture. Excellent well defined head markings, cheek ribbons, whisker spots, complicated brow markings, lines down his back, with butterfly over the shoulders, good oysters. His colour & contrast both excellent. Lovely condition. Has a number of fine qualities which at this stage outweigh the ear & muzzle problems. No Merit. BANDY'S THICKTHORN TIKARI-THYME. 73 41. 15-07-08.Tawny, very ,very tense & nervous, much bigger out than first appearances indicate. Modified wedge, of medium length, muzzle requires a more squared appearance, profile has the bares most minimal break, good chin & bite. Medium size ears, angular setting. Eyes well shaped, gentle touch of slant, green in colour. Body is beautifully firm though could be more athletic in build (I should talk),slim legs, oval paws, tail slightly short, gentle taper, irregular tip with blunted effect. Close coat, very good density, shorter length, well prepared, subtle sheen. Quite good facial tracings, pattern though showing reasonable Classic elements are all a little blurred & brindled, colour could be warmer. Excellent condition, very head shy & jumpy. Appears to have lost the tail tip itself. Too many problems for award. Korat Neuter;1st PC & BOB. BLACK'S JENANCA IMRANKHAN. 14-08-06.Such a quiet gentle lad, but this I learnt when judging was concluded completely out of character as he speaks much more Korat at home. Head on he is quite pleasing with width both across & between the eyes, gentle curve at the cheeks to the well developed muzzle, creating a pleasing heart shape, flat forehead, gentle stop & downward dip to the marginally longer nose, good chin & bite. Ears are quite large, wide flare at the base, very little inner ear furnishing, set quite tall. Eyes large & dominate the head, being large & prominent further enhanced by the very good luminous green colour. Body of medium size, semi-cobby proportions, well proportioned limbs, oval paws, tail broad & tapered to slightly more pointed tip, medium length. Single coat of medium length, close lying but breaking along the spine line where it is a little longer. Darker shade of steely blue & he has yet to develop more evidence of silvery sheen (somewhat non-existent at present). His condition was excellent & his temperament almost meek. AC Tiffanie Neuter, Male;1st PC & BOB. LETTEN'S JETSTAR ALABAMA SPIRIT. 68q. 19-11-07.BCR Brown, this lad looked much better out than originally appeared the case in the pen. Head has a reasonably short wide wedge, the muzzle could be a little blunter, rounded top, very good break in profile, chin has a slight taper, bite good. Ears medium size, rounded at the tips, well furnished interiors & well placed when he relaxes fully. His eyes though large are undeniably a little more inclined to rounding, requiring more definition to the shape, greenish chartreuse colour. Body well developed & weighty perhaps a little on the plumper side, well balanced legs, slightly large on the paws, well balanced tail slightly short of shoulder, with a reasonably well furnished plume. His coat though I would prefer it a little longer, it did posses a degree of flow without woolly undercoat, typically shorter over the shoulders (always the case) & the ruff could be fuller but was present & he is still relatively young, good britches, excellent soft fine silky texture. His colour is rich Burmese brown with a very good degree of warmth, lovely glossy sheen. His condition excellent & he was an extremely fussy outgoing lad. 2nd CHATTERTON'S TRESBEAU PURRADISE. 68 43as. 08-07-08.Blue Silver Shaded, pleasing type & balance, somewhat grumpy but not difficult. Very good short wide wedge, adequate bluntness to the muzzle, top could be a little more rounded, good break but a little too retrousse at the nose tip, chin requiring a little more depth, bite okay. Ears set well, medium size, well furnished interiors, rounded with small tufts on the tips. Eyes large, with slightly more slanted top line, green in colour. Body firm & well proportioned, with good legs & tufted paws, slightly short tail which was well furnished but bushy as opposed to plumed. Coat longer than the previous lad but also a little fuller with woolly undercoat as opposed to flow over the body, good ruff, texture though fine could be silkier ideally. Heavy shading over the body & whilst obviously shaded, his silver undercoat could have been more evident & a little further up the hair shaft on the body, heavy skullcap on the brow, some facial tracings, the ear furnishing were silvery as was the tummy & beneath the tail, quite a good soft blue tone. His condition was excellent & as stated though he grumbled if was purely effectual. AC Tiffanie Neuter, Female;Marked as Wrong Pattern, CHATTERTON'S TRESBEAU PERFECT BEAUTY. 68 44e. 08-07-06.Black/Brown Mackerel Tortie Tabby, should in my opinion be 68 43e Black/Brown Tortie Shaded (& possibly q, but I don’t know the breeding, so that may not be possible), very attractive girl for type if something of a fiery spirit, but sadly not showing any evidence of conforming to what is required for Mackerel, even taking into account her possible Tortie factor. Her type is most impressive, her wedge short & wide, with good blunted muzzle effect, rounded top, the break well defined, short nose, slight roll off, her chin runs back somewhat, but the bite good nonetheless. Ears well placed, wide base to complement, hint of forward tilt, medium size, well furnished interiors. Lovely eyes, large in size, good depth to the lower line, slanted top, chartreuse shade of light yellowy green, dark line of pigment to their rims, quite a wicked expression as she scowls from beneath the brow. Body was firm & weighty, quite fine limbs & smaller neat paws, slight tufts, medium length tail, good degree of plume. Her coat was full & beautifully prepared, slightly thicker undercoat but with a pleasing degree of flow, soft silken like texture, good degree of ruff, full britches. Her colour appeared to be more brown than black & was extremely difficult to find any discernable evidence of red for the Tortie factor but did appear to have an odd small brighter area or two on the body, which would possibly be more obvious in natural light. Some facial markings & fuzzy markings on the brow, showing leg bracelets, no discernable tail rings, the body shows no visible evidence of markings with the exception of slight amount of broken spine line just below her shoulders, the remainder appearing to be a good example of being Shaded with warm undercoat pushing the last remaining remnants of pattern to the surface. Her condition was excellent, something of madam. Would have obtained the BOB had she been correctly registered. AC Tabby Asian Neuter;Considered for & Awarded BOB. WOODLEY'S PR KIMANI JOHNNYHATES JAZZ. 72 45q. 03-07-06.BCR Brown Ticked Tabby, very mature looking lad, who was quite substantial. Head has very good short wide wedge, good blunted muzzle, rounded top, well defined nose break, chin & bite good. Ears round on the tips, medium size, set well apart, wide base & hint of forward tilt. Large expressive eyes (slightly wicked), well curved lower line, gentle slanted effect, colour slight tinge of aqua tone to the outer edge of the otherwise green tone. Excellent body, possessing excellent weight & muscle tone, legs quite slim, relatively neat paws, slightly broader base to the gently tapering tail ending a little short of shoulder & rounded tip. Well marked facials, more solid skull cap, brown pigmentation line around the eye rims, ticking on the body is well defined, residual necklet which is neither here nor there, deeper line of colour along the lower back & extending down the length of the tail, well coloured Burmese brown heel markings & paws pads, his overall colour has quite a good degree of warmth to it. Condition was excellent, something of a grump but not in any way aggressive. Cream Burmese Adult, Female;1st CC & BOB. HENRY'S ADATEBU NICA'S DREAM. 21-05-08.This girl is still quite dainty & requires the benefit of maturity to give a little finish but generally even & well balanced. Perfectly acceptable short wedge, could ideally be a little wider, good blunt effect to her muzzle, rounded top line, fair break, small roll off the nose (looked much better when she curled it at me just before being returned to her pen), chin requires a little more depth, bite good. Ears medium in size, wide base, rounded tips, touch of forward tilt. Eyes much better again once she showed a bit of attitude, the shape improved, they are a good larger size, quite wicked expression which did give the colour a little more lustrous effect to the light chartreuse tone. Body still quite lithe & typically adolescent, slim legs, neat paws, well proportioned tail a little short of shoulder. Colour is marginally warmer cream tone but there is the powdered effect to create a softer bloom over the ears & brow. Her condition was excellent, has a degree of spirit but not no malice. Also Considered for BOB. JARVIS'S GR CH KYMIAN INIGO JONES. 12-07-98.Bit of a grumpy old man & not particularly enjoying his outing, it was a very bored head down with an expression of ‘I want to be somewhere else’. Head has a very short wide wedge, good blunt muzzle, his top not quite so rounded, the break a little shallow, needs a little more depth of chin. Ears smaller medium size, set well touch of forward tilt, round tips. Eyes have a slightly tighter shape, requiring more depth of curve to the lower line & could be larger, he has retained a very good chartreuse tone. Body not overlay large In fact quite dainty for a boy, but nonetheless taking his age into account well muscled just looking a little on the stocky side, with proportionate legs & paws, tail fraction short, rounded tip. His coat has a good shorter length if slightly thicker texture, not the sleekness of youth. His colour very even but rather on the hotter side. His condition was excellent, but not best pleased at being handled. AOC Tortie Burmese Neuter;1st & PC JORDAN'S PR KATSPELL PYEWACKET. 27h. 15-05-96.Chocolate, older lady whose type is generally good, just lacking the extra sparkle no doubt attributable to her age. Reasonably short wedge which I would prefer a little wider, quite a good muzzle, well rounded top, good break, needs more depth chin. Ears medium size, rounded tips, inclined to prick a little high. Her eyes are large albeit a little too rounded for my preference, very good yellowy chartreuse tone if a mite dull. Body firm & well proportioned, slender limbs, small neat paws, tail of medium thickness, slight taper, rounded tip a little on the shorter side. Her coat has slight degree of woolliness a feature of age, the length still quite good, soft in texture somewhat lacking the sleekness of youth which is of course perfectly understandable as she is now 13years young. Warm colour combination of chocolate & shades of red. Her condition & temperament both excellent. Considered for & Awarded BOB. SIMPSON'S UK GR CH & IMP GR PR PAPAGENA NADINA. 27h. 23-07-98.Chocolate, a real quality exhibit with wonderful idiosyncratic personality which I understand so well having a great deal of experience of it in the past. I confess I still think she is wonderful example of her breed & not because of age but in spite of her type is superb. Short wide, blunt wedge, top rounding well in both directions, excellent break, short nose, lovely depth chin, excellent bite. Ears are beautifully set, hint of forward tilt, rounded tips & a very good medium size. Most beautiful eyes, including the flash of indignation where she scowls from beneath the brow, lovely shape & impressive larger size, slightly duller chartreuse tone but still wonderfully wicked. Okay so perhaps not exactly lithe but she was firm & weighty with ridged tummy line, slim legs, oval paws, tail short of shoulder medium thickness, perhaps a mite short (extended waistline!). Her coat is close lying, a little loner & thicker no doubt than in her youth, but beautifully prepared. Quite a warm chocolate colour with shades of red/tangerine evident. Her condition immaculate, still ensures you realise who is really in charge, with a slap towards the end to push the point home………………why would I expect less, I understand she was Best Burmese Neuter………yet again but can’t say there was a better choice, a devoted fan. Chocolate Point Siamese Adult, Female;1st CC & BOB. HATCHETT'S DENSON KATRINA JOYCE. 19-04-08.Still dainty & not perhaps the flash but generally worth her certificate at this level. Very good length wedge, some muzzle pinch, virtually straight profile, chin tapers some, bite okay. Ears large & with wide base, just carried a little high for my preference. Eyes of slightly fuller shape with pleasing oriental slant, the colour bright & possessing a very good depth of blue. Good neck, lithe elegant body with proportionate slim legs & neat paws, fine whip tail. Her coat, close & well prepared if marginally long. Clear light ivory coat with as a result excellent contrast, to the points of slight darker chocolate (albeit not excessively) ideally requiring more warmth. Her condition was excellent & though a little overawed handled well. Caramel Point Siamese Adult, Female;1st CC & BOB. SIBLEY'S CH ABICASA PRINCESS ABIGAILLE. 13-02-07.This girl has lovely head strength & was an excellent example of maturity & balance for type. She has very strong broad balanced wedge, the profile whilst not straight having a slight dip & bump does not detract from the overall look, chin quite good, no incisors (well she did have one), gums appear level. Excellent ears large & beautifully set, the wide flare harmonising with the wedge. Stunning eyes, excellent oriental shape & slant, intense dark blue with a really superior lofty expression, quite drooly. Body was perhaps a little overweight but surprisingly firm, slender limbs, small oval paws, fine tail requiring a little more length to balance. Her coat was beautifully sleek & close lying, good shorter length. Blue based very sludgy Caramel tone to her dark points, well matched, body quite extensively shaded again with the taupe overlay where the contrast better she would look much improved. Her condition was really excellent & her temperament very composed. Crystal Clear British, Foreign, Burmese Adult/Kitten or Neuter;1st SIMPSON'S PR PAPAGENA XANDER. 27b. 09-09-07.Chocolate Burmese, spitting tacks but looking oh so ‘Burmese’ when he gave a curl of his nose. Head on excellent type with is short wide wedge & masculine appearance, blunt muzzle, beautifully rounded top line, with well defined break, rather large bump & roll off the nose tip, strong chin, good bite. Ears are a larger medium size, wide base & rounded tips, touch of forward tilt & beautifully set. The eyes are extremely impressive large & well shaped, deeply curved lower line, slanted top, colour of lustrous light gold tone, superbly wicked expression matching his bolshie attitude. Super body, excellent muscle, broad chest, well proportioned limbs, neat paws, well balanced tail of medium thickness, a little short of shoulder, rounded tip. Coat superbly presented, short & close, beautifully sleek satiny finish. His colour has a very good warmth & by chocolate standards impressively even without undue contrast. His condition was super, a right royal rat-bag, who could moan for England but purely for effect………but it does enhance type & well worth the exercise. 2nd MARSLAND-ROUND'S CATBALU INDIANNA. 79s 31d. 26-06-04.Red Bi-Coloured Shorthaired Selkirk Rex, very fussy lad who wasn’t sure whether he should grumble or purr, not overly large but well proportioned. Head broad & rounded, good breadth to the cheeks, well squared matchbox muzzle with some whisker pinch, rounded brow, slight drop off at the nose. Ears medium size some shorter curly furnishings & small tufts to the tips, set well apart. I would ideally prefer his eyes to be a little more open & rounded, attractive gold tone. Body was well muscled & possessed good breadth to his chest, well proportioned bone to his legs, round paws, balanced medium length tail. Coat soft & parts easily, with a good degree of loose curl abundant throughout with a greater degree of density to the curl around the neck chest & tummy. Very good bright red with the white (which could have been a little more sparkling) well contrasted. His condition was very good & he was despite mixed messages very easy to handle, probably just hormonal. 3rd MACOY'S OYIBO MACOYS BLUETT. 27a.AV British Senior Adult;1st GORCHER'S CH LORASTON FIORRA MAYE. 22a. 10-06-05.Blue Tortie & White, beautifully grown & impressive lady who is a fine example of the size & maturity that a ‘Brit’ of her age should possess. Excellent head, apple rounded & well filled out, with fat cheeks, round on the brow, rather a prominent nose bump, good chin & bite. Ears smaller medium size, well placed & fitting well with the head contours. Eyes large & well rounded shape, the colour a more light golden hue but within the required range. Excellent substantial chunky body, excellent bone to the legs, round paws, broad heavy medium length tail. Coat good shorter length, excellent density & wonderfully crisp & scrunchy. Inverted white to her face with white collar line, well patched with slightly tipped blue areas & relatively even quite medium shade of cream, has some infringement of scattered white in some areas. Her condition extremely impressive & a very calm relaxed temperament. 2nd POTTER'S GR CH PAMPURRED PABLO-HONEY. 31f.AV British Debutante Neuter;1st NICHOLS'S CURLU NEO. 79s 15d. 19-04-08.Red Shorthaired Selkirk Rex, relatively young but generally well balanced lad. Head has good breadth & rounding, cheeks filled out well, rounded brow with slight downward curve to his nose, good prominence to his whisker pads giving a good matchbox effect, good chin & bite. Good medium size to the ears quite well set albeit he pricks them on occasion, some light curly inner furnishings & small tufted tips. Eyes good size, well open shape, the colour light golden tone. Body well developed & good muscularity with breadth across the chest, quite chunky medium length, good bone to the legs & paws, medium length, moderately thick tail. Coat has a very good soft texture with a good degree of loose unstructured curl well in evidence, parting easily to the roots, denser on the neck, chest & tummy, good curling whiskers & eyebrows. Very good bright red colour. Very composed lad, whose condition was excellent. 2nd JEFFRIES'S SWEETCHEEKZ BOBSYBODERICK. 16. 03-08-08.Blue, at 10 months this lad still has a very kittenish quality about him, combined with a lack of masculinity & size compared to what one expects for a British lad (even a young one, like him). Type wise very good if a little too pretty for a boy. Head round with good breadth & fullness to the cheeks, round brow, short nose, good muzzle, chin & bite both good. Ears quite small & well placed, very tidy. Eyes well open & round, golden orange with a green rim. He has a very chunky compact body which though good weight for size really was on the small size, legs & paws proportionate, with a well balanced tail. Excellent density to the coat, okay for length & he also has a good degree of crispness. The colour a mid blue tone with some tipping. Excellent condition & temperament, were he female he would look very acceptable but misses out as a boy. 3rd WALKER'S REVODNA BEAR NECESSITY. 16.AC Tonkinese Adult;1st CHAPPLE'S ANTIKPATINA PRUNELLA. 74t. 13-08-08.Brown Tabby, I judged this girl recently & was extremely impressed by exactly how much she had matured in such a short period of time. Looking much more finished, moderate medium wedge, good slight whisker pinch, well balanced muzzle, skull rounds gently showing gentle break in profile, strong chin, good bite. Ears pricked with wide base, oval tips, good medium size & slight angular setting. Eyes full wide almond, touch more rounded than ideal, very good bluish washed green effect. Excellent tone to the body of medium length, slender limbs, oval paws, gentle taper to her tail of medium length. Excellent coat being short & very close lying, well prepared, lovely sleek finish & lustrous sheen. Good facial markings, cheek stripes & ‘M’, clear leg bracelets, broad linked tail bands all of a slight deeper tone than the body, with its unusual (for Tonkinese, that is…………), Classic based pattern. Quite an attractive warm brown colour overall. Lovely temperament & superb condition. 2nd MACEY'S CH FELCHELDEE GEORGIEGIRL. 74h. 02-02-04.Chocolate Tortie, hated doing this as I really do like this girl very much but on the day the younger girl just had the edge. Much more mature madam, very good type, modified wedge of medium length, showing slight whisker pinch, good muzzle, skull rounding gently with slight break in profile, small rise on the nose, good depth chin, bite untidy, gums showing some gingivitis. Moderately large ears, set well, pricked slightly forward & oval on the tips. Eyes have pleasing wide almond shape, well set, slight tinge of blue over green, slightly wicked glint. She has lovely body & is always in immaculate condition, taut & weighty, medium length, the legs slim with neat oval paws, well balanced medium length tail. Wonderfully sleek finish to her short, close lying coat, lovely sheen. For a Tortie she does have a very definite albeit very gentle merge of colour to the deeper toned points, combined with a lovely warm effect to her chocolate combined with varying shades of red. Excellent condition & so little to choose between the two, but the younger girls temperament was far superior which tipped the balance. 3rd GRAGG'S WAKANDA GOODIE BLUSHOOZ. 74a.Also very attractive but to mature more fully. Cornish Rex, Devon Rex or La Perm Neuter;I gave no other awards in this class, as in my opinion the other 2 exhibits both Devon Rex displayed Semi-Longhair characteristics & the SOP states to Withhold all awards for cats displaying the Longhair gene. 1st HUMMERSTON'S CH & IMP GR PR CHRISAN CAMELOTT. 33 31s. 03-07-06.Black Smoke Bi-Coloured Cornish Rex, this lad looked particularly handsome today & was extremely relaxed which made for easy handling to admire his fine qualities. Very good type, modified moderate wedge well defined high cheeks, very good muzzle, the head about a third longer than wide, flat between his large ears which have wide base & the correct mussel shell shape, slight rounding to the tips, beautifully set. His chin firm & the bite good. Lovely eyes with sultry expression, quite large full oval shape, attractive green tone. Elegant neckline, lithe medium length beautifully muscular body, with good length slender limbs standing tall on his neat paws, fine tail of medium length. Lovely soft coat texture, well covered excellent density with a very good tight well waved effect throughout including the legs & tail, slightly lees so on the shoulders (being shorter), long curling white whiskers & eyebrows. Has a small white flick of white on his brow & nose, with white chest, tummy & all his paws contrasting well against his black smoke coloured body (bi-colour is a pattern that tends to suite Cornish). His condition quite splendid & he was a joy to handle. 2nd LAWRIE'S PR CHRISAN CHARANGO. 33 31bs. 09-04-06.Chocolate Smoke Bi-Coloured Cornish Rex, another handsome lad displaying pleasing ‘Cornish’ type. Wedge a little longer than its width, high well defined cheeks, his markings tend to distort his head shape a little, gentle rounded quite broad muzzle, flat plane between the ears, very slight break at the eye line in profile, good chin & bite. Ears are moderately large & set quite high but not to imply vertical, wide base very good muzzle shell shape & rounded tips. His eyes are marginally deeper set than the above lad & as result the shape not quite so wide full oval shape. Good neckline, muscular well developed body, stands tall on his slim legs, oval paws, tail fine but requires a little more length. Well covered soft fine coat yet with a good degree of density, slightly wider waves than the above, but well in evidence softer ripples down the inside of the front legs & tail. Random white on his face with white on all paws, chocolate smoke body, good whiskers & eyebrows, some of which are curly. Handled well & was in lovely condition. AC Siamese Breeders Adult;1st REED'S IMP GR CH JOHPAS SENORITA RUMBALITA. 32a. 01-05-05.Red Point Siamese, this was actually the last cat I judged on the day, like saving the best till last, at the risk of repeating myself yet again she is in my opinion as good as it gets in this section at present screaming quality, she is absolutely Drop Dead Gorgeous, apart from her points colour I have nothing to criticise. Superbly strong & so beautifully balanced, wonderful head carriage, perfectly even equilateral wedge, strong profile, excellent chin & bite. Beautifully set large well flared ears, all in excellent harmony with her head lines. Gorgeous eyes, beautifully haughty yet so serene also, deep vivid blue colour. Her body is taut & possessing excellent substance yet completely elegant, with slender limbs, dainty paws, well balanced length whip tail. Coat beautifully prepared, wonderfully close lying & excellent shorter length, excellent sleek finish. Near white body, her points are undeniably paler than I would wish to see but nobody ever gets everything & if that is her only short coming I can live it with it any day. Not only wonderful type but her temperament is charm personified, a wonderful example of her breed to enjoy & admire. Many, many congratulations on Best Overall Siamese yet again, long may it continue. 2nd SIBLEY'S ATARIQ NATASHA. 24. 29-08-08.Seal Point Siamese, though dainty & petite this girl had most attractive type albeit somewhat overshadowed by the sheer presence of the winner. Good length wedge, virtually even, her profile whilst not straight does possess a degree of strength, chin & bite good. Ears are large & very well set, wide flare to the base complements her wedge. Eyes have an excellent oriental shape & set, pleasing bright blue colour, lovely expression. Elegant neckline, body though still quite dainty & fine boned at only 9 ½ months has time yet to fill out & mature more fully, slender limbs, small oval paws, fine tail. Coat short & close, well prepared, excellent texture. Warm toned beige body, with well contrasted points of good seal if still to complete & densen a little more. Very sweet disposition & excellent temperament. AV Siamese/Oriental Novice Adult;1st SHAFTO'S HUBELL HUBA HUBA. 29. 26-04-08.Havana, initially very flashy but a little unbalanced as he is a little overlong generally for his width. Long narrow wedge with some pinch & very sharp on the muzzle itself, slight profile dip somewhat receding chin line. Ears very large & well flared at their base, the setting low & wide. Eyes of good green, very good oriental shape & slant, has a squint which was in all possibility transitory. Elegant neckline, long lithe taut body, still to muscle up fully, but not out of keeping with his age, slender limbs, small oval paws, very good long fine whip tail. Coat well prepared short & very close lying, sleek satiny finish. Very dark colour requiring more evidence of rich chestnut tones but as a plus was sound. His condition & presentation both excellent, very relaxed young chap. AC Siamese/Balinese Maiden Kitten;1st BARNES'S ABICASA CYBERSPIRIT. 24c. 16-12-08.Lilac Point Siamese, Gorgeous type, though still quite fine boned he has plenty of time to grow on & is beautifully stylish, slightly suspect about his colour & given the benefit of some doubt based on his young age. Excellent head the lines even & well balanced, medium length wedge, excellent profile, though the chin could be a little deeper, bite marginal over. Ears large, wide base to complement the wedge, lovely fixed low position. The eyes possess a typical oriental shape & slant, the colour a deep bright blue, superior expression already evident. Body quite slender & very fine boned as yet, good neckline, slim legs, dainty paws, fine whip like tail to balance. Coat marginally longer (typically kitten), but beautifully close lying & excellent texture. Clear body of cooler magnolia tone, slightly paler stockings the remainder of the points are well matched but rather dark & for a lilac of his age I would expect them to be paler & with more evidence of pinky tones but let time be the judge. His condition was splendid & he is such a relaxed & composed youngster, congratulations on becoming Best Siamese Kitten, despite the lack of competition it was a justified decision even taking into account his colour at this stage. AC Siamese/Balinese Non-Breeders Kitten;1st BARNES'S ABICASA CYBERSPIRIT. 24c.AV Oriental Limit Kitten;1st WHISTON'S MIYOKO CHIQUITITA. 48 43bs. 21-11-08.Chocolate Silver Shaded Oriental Bi-Colour, very even looking kitten of very good type & balance. Well proportioned wedge, even lines but puffs the pads a little on occasion, very good profile, chin & bite both good. Well set large ears, good width to their base. Eyes slightly fuller whilst still retaining a typical oriental shape & slant, for preference the green could be more vivid. Good length neck, body is firm & showing pleasing development, slim legs, neat paws, good length whip tail to finish. Close lying well prepared coat of very good shorter length, sleek sheen. Splodged white are on the face, & overall showing a good degree of white with completely whit tummy line, her Shaded based pattern areas are slightly more intense in some areas, with more defined leg bracelets & tail rings. Condition was excellent, gentle natured girl. 2nd TITTERALL'S BABADAG ASIFBYMAGIC. 37. 06-01-09.Black, very much a baby by comparison, but showing a pleasing degree of style. Head has medium length, slightly pinched wedge (most probably exacerbated due to teething, very good profile, chin a little narrow, bite level, swollen gums. Ears large, set wide & low, good width to the base. The eyes have a good green colour & the shape & set both oriental, pleasing expression. Still very young & perhaps could be a little better grown for a boy, slim legs, neat paws, fine whippy tail. His coat despite his young age is very promising being quite short & beautifully close. Sound jet black colour, very glossy. Condition & temperament both excellent. 3rd GIRDLER'S SHANTAI SPARKLER. 35.AV Oriental Limit Neuter;1st WEAVER'S PR SUNJADE SKIPPER. 37k. 27-10-07.Cinnamon, very handsome very much his mother’s son where attitude is concerned, luckily he has also inherited her type. Very good length wedge, showing a pleasing even well balanced lines, very good profile, gives his nose a little curl to intimidate you, excellent chin & bite. Ears large, wide base, excellent set. Oriental shape & setting to his vivid green eyes, with a slight wicked expression. Good length of neck, long well muscled firm body, well proportioned limbs, neat paws, well balanced moderately fine tail. His coat is short & close lying, well prepared finish with a sleek glossy sheen. Warm cinnamon with a pleasing spicy warm tone, he has some slight ghosting but this does not detract from the overall effect as it is relatively sound. In super condition, very good at grumbling but it is free of any malice & not meant personally (he grumbles at everyone equally). AC Siamese/Balinese Not having won PC or IC, Neuter;1st JANICKI'S SHEREMESE LIFE O'RILEY. 32/1. 10-09-08.Seal Tabby Point, beautifully stylish, oh that this lad looked more masculine, as a female he would look quite lovely, however he is still very young so may (albeit optimistic) yet achieve a more masculine look as he continues to grow & develop. Very well balanced even wedge, super profile, good chin, bite acceptable. Excellent ears, large in size with complementary flare to their base. His eyes are quite beautiful, with a lovely oriental shape & slant combined with a really deep intense blue colour, absolutely superb expression. Body as yet still very slight for a male (yes even a young neutered one), yet well toned & very good length, with slender limbs, small neat paws, lovely length of tail, very fine. Coat excellent, short & close, lovely finish. Has some evidence of shading but still with well defined contrast to his well traced markings, spotted whisker pads, well traced ribbons on the cheeks, clear ‘M’, some thumbprints, leg bracelets & tail rings both good. His condition was superb & he is completely relaxed & poses beautifully. Despite my comments re his masculinity I have no doubt he will do well for himself. End of Report.
