Thank you to the show managers Mrs Daphne Butters and Mr David Howe for inviting me to their show, this is a really friendly show to judge at which is so well supported. Thank you for the great hospitality and gift. Mrs Lesley Szwed stepped in at the last minute to steward for me, thank you for your hard work, excellent handling of the exhibits and good humour. I look forward to the next time we can work together.

IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER MALE (5 EXHIBITS PRESENT)

IMP PC ALLEN'S GR PR DOTCOM SAMPSON (64.31t) (MN) 30.1.05

Four year and four month old brown tabby and white lad of good size and weight. Long body well boned and muscled with good breadth to the chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good breadth to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted held high on head with a good gap between. Large round yellow eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite, muzzle square and of good breadth. Nice width and depth to the chin. Very good head balance and maturity. The coat was excellently prepared, soft in texture displaying a lovely substantial glossy top coat with good length of fur to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. The white areas were pristine and to the chin, bib, tummy, front feet and back legs. The tabby markings were of a reasonably dense black shown off by a slightly cool brown agouti ground colour. The face displayed a good tabby pattern and there was a clear well defined classic tabby pattern to the body, the coloured areas to the legs were well barred and the tail well ringed. Lovely temperament.

RES IMP PC BUNCE'S IMP GR PR COONTASTIC NIJINSKY (64.31t) (MN) 27.10.05

Three year and eight month old brown tabby and white lad of good size and weight. Long body well boned and muscled with good breadth to chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted held high on the head with a good gap between. Large round green eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite, muzzle square of good breadth with good width and depth to the chin. Head showing very good balance. The coat was excellently prepared, soft texture with a nice substantial glossy top coat with good length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. Pristine white areas to nose, chin, whisker pads, bib, tummy, front feet and back legs the tabby markings were dense shown off by a nice brown agouti ground colour. Face displayed a good tabby pattern and the body was covered by a clear well defined classic tabby pattern, coloured areas to legs barred and tail ringed. Good temperament. (Two lovely high quality lads).

GR CC HAYNE'S CH COONVIVIAL SCARLET RIBBONS (64.31dt) (F) 12.5.05

Four year and one month old red tabby and white girl of very good size and weight. Long body well boned and muscled with good breadth to the chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted held high on head with a good gap between. Round yellow eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Muzzle square of good breadth the chin had good width, I would have preferred slightly more depth for perfection. The head showed good balance and maturity. The coat was excellently prepared, soft texture with a lovely glossy substantial top coat with good length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. The red tabby markings were of a lovely rich red shown off by a nice apricot ground colour. The pristine white areas were to the nose, muzzle, bib, tummy and all four feet. The face displayed a good tabby pattern, the body had a good butterfly over the shoulders, quite good spine lines and oysters to flanks. Coloured areas to legs well barred and rings to the tail. Lovely girl of good size, maturity and coat quality. Lovely temperament.

RES GR CC ASSINDER'S CH GEBUHRCOONS DREAM DATE (IMP) (64.41) (F) 29.3.07

Two year and two month old brown classic tabby girl of good size and weight. Long body of quite good bone and muscle with nice breadth to chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on head with a good gap between. Round green eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Muzzle square of good breadth, quite good width and depth to the chin. Head showing good balance. The coat was excellently prepared, soft texture showing quite a good substantial glossy top coat of good length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and reasonably profuse flowing fur to the tail. The tabby markings were dense shown off by a warm brown agouti ground colour. The face showed a good tabby pattern, and the body displayed a clear well defined classic tabby pattern, legs well barred and rings to the tail. Lovely temperament.

SILVER TABBY SERIES WITHOUT WHITE MALE KITTEN (14WKS – 5MTHS)

1ST JONES' KADACOON MISTA T (64.44s) (M) 19.1.09

Five month and one week old silver mackerel tabby boy of good size and weight for his age. Long body developing good bone and muscle. Nice breadth to the chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted held high on the head with a good gap between. Round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, scissor bite (teething) square muzzle of quite good breadth, good depth to the chin just needing a little more width. The head is developing good balance. The coat was well shown, soft texture showing a glossy kitten coat at present, developing length of fur to the flanks, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted. The tabby markings were of a good density shown off by a nice silver ground colour. The face was displaying a nice tabby pattern, the mackerel tabby pattern was developing well to the flanks, slightly better on one side than the other as yet, legs barred and numerous rings to the tail. Lovely temperament.

SILVER TABBY SERIES WITHOUT WHITE KITTEN MALE (6MTHS – 8MTHS)

1ST BOB SANDERSON'S LIONMAINE DEXTER MORGAN (64.41as) (MN) 28.10.08

Eight month old blue silver classic tabby lad of quite good size and weight well boned and muscled, good breadth to the chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on the head with a good gap between. Large round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Muzzle square of good breadth, chin of good depth just needing a little more width. Head balance developing well. Coat excellently prepared, soft texture and of quite good substance to the glossy kitten coat, nice length to flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. The tabby markings were dense and of a nice blue to the legs and face, the markings to the body were of a slightly darker tone, the markings were well shown off by the silver ground colour. There was a little tarnishing to the nose. Good tabby pattern to the face, the classic tabby pattern to the body was quite good with just a little more clarity to the spine lines needed, legs barred and rings to the tail. He was a little moody today.

SILVER TABBY SERIES WITHOUT WHITE KITTEN FEMALE (6MTHS – 8MTHS)

1ST BENT'S RUMTUMTIGGER QLAUDIA (64.44gs) (F) 20.10.08

Eight month and one week old blue tortie silver mackerel tabby girl of quite good size and weight. Long body developing bone and muscle with quite good breadth to the chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Quite good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on head with a reasonable gap between. Round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, scissor bite. Square muzzle of quite good width. Good depth to the chin just needing a little more width. Head developing balance well. Coat well shown, the kitten coat was glossy albeit lacking a little length, fur length just coming to flanks, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted. The blue tabby markings were of a nice tone, the head, face, body and tail all showed nice tortie areas overlaying the pattern. The pattern was well shown off by the good silver ground colour. The face displayed a good tabby pattern and the body was covered by a lovely clear mackerel tabby pattern, legs well barred and nicely well ringed tail. Lovely temperament.

Coat excellently prepared, soft texture, displaying a lovely glossy substantial top coat with good length to flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. White areas to the nose, muzzle, bib, tummy and all legs. The tabby markings were of a dense black shown off by a rich brown agouti ground colour. Face well marked with a tabby pattern and a nice classic tabby pattern to the body, rings to the tail. Lovely temperament.

2ND JOINER'S DK COZYCOON'S LAST BOY SCOUT (64.14b) (M) 9.12.07

Eighteen month old white odd eyed lad looking every bit a teenager at present. Quite good size and weight. Long body developing bone and muscle, looking a little leggy as yet, reasonable breadth to chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Quite good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on head with a reasonable gap between. Round eyes of very good blue and an orangey colour of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite, the muzzle was quite square, I would have preferred the muzzle with a little more breadth, quite good width and depth to the chin. The overall head balance was quite good. The coat was reasonably prepared, the coat was glossy although a little short lacking substance at present, the belly and breeches were shaggy, feet tufted, the coat was a little coarse in texture today. Although the white was pristine the coat lacked a little finish. Good temperament.

Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, scissor bite. Square muzzle of good breadth. Good depth to chin just needing a little more width. Head well balanced. The coat was excellently prepared displaying a glossy substantial top coat with length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. Soft texture. The tabby markings were of a dense black shown off by a warm brown agouti ground colour. Good tabby pattern to the face, and a clear classic tabby pattern to the body, legs barred and tail ringed. Good temperament.

2ND SAVILLE'S ISHCUS CAMILLATHECHICKEN (IRISH CH) (64.41) (F) 12.12.07

Eighteen month old brown classic tabby girl of quite good size and weight. Long body of reasonable bone and muscle, quite good breadth to chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on head with a good gap between. Nose of a uniform width with a very shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high. Level bite. Square muzzle of quite good breadth. Good depth to the chin just needing a little more width. The overall head balance was quite good. The coat was well prepared, soft texture, developing a glossy substantial top coat with length developing to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. The tabby markings were of a dense black shown off by a warm brown agouti ground colour. Face displayed a good tabby pattern and the body was covered by an excellently clear classic tabby pattern, legs barred and rings to the tail. Lovely temperament.

3RD MASKELL'S JEMAHAN MAGIKAL MERCURY (64.43fs) (M) 10.4.08

Fourteen month old cream silver shaded lad of good size and weight. Long body well boned and muscled with good breadth to chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on head with a good gap between. Round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a rather straight profile, a bump to the lower part of the nose giving the appearance of a slight curve. Cheek bones high, level bite. Muzzle square of quite good width, good depth to the chin just needing a little more width. Reasonable head balance. The coat was excellently prepared, soft texture, displaying a glossy substantial top coat with quite good length of fur to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. The undercoat was of nice silvery white shaded by a slightly uneven medium cream to the body and tail. Good temperament.

Four month old brown classic tabby and white lad who was a real showman. Good size and weight for his age. Long body already showing good developing boning, nice breadth to the chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered with super tufts, held high on head with a good gap between. Round amber eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite, muzzle square of good breadth, good depth of chin, just needing a little more width. Head already showing very good balance. Coat excellently prepared, soft, glossy kitten coat, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted. The tabby markings were dense shown off by a warm brown agouti ground colour. The pristine white areas were to the muzzle, nose, bib, tummy and all four legs. The face displayed a nice tabby pattern and the body was covered by a very good classic tabby pattern, tail well ringed. Lovely kitten with a super temperament.

Round amber eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Muzzle nice and square with good breadth, nice depth and width to the chin. Head already showing very good balance. The coat was well shown, soft texture, displaying a lovely glossy kitten coat, developing length to flanks, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted. The tabby markings were of a nice red shown off by the silver ground colour. The white areas were to the chin, bib, tummy and to all four legs. The face displayed a nice tabby pattern, and the body was covered by a clear classic tabby pattern, tail ringed. Lovely kitten with a super temperament.

Square muzzle of good breadth with good width and depth to the chin. He is already showing very good head balance. The coat was well shown, soft texture and a lovely glossy kitten coat, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted. The tabby markings were rich shown off by a lovely apricot ground colour. The white areas were to the muzzle, chin, bib, tummy and most areas to the legs. The face displayed a nice tabby pattern and the body was covered by a clear classic tabby pattern, tail ringed. High quality lad with a lovely temperament.

2ND LISTER'S COOONARIA SMOKEY JOE (64.36) (M) 23.2.09

Four month old black smoke lad of good size and weight for his age. Long body developing quite good bone and muscle with nice breadth to the chest and firm rump. Long tail balanced the body. Reasonable width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on head with a reasonable gap between. Round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a very shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Square muzzle of quite good breadth. The chin was of good depth just needing a little more width. Head balance developing well. Coat well shown, soft texture, a nice glossy kitten coat, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted. Good black mask to the face, the body was rather diffused at present displaying the ashen white undercoat with the new black top coat coming through, contrasts to the head and legs. There were some ghost tabbing to the body and legs as yet. Silvery ruff. Lovely temperament.

3RD JONES' LIONMAINE BRIGHT BRIGAND (64.19) (M) 11.1.09

Five and half month old red classic tabby lad of good size and weight for his age. Long body developing good bone and muscle with good breadth to the chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on head with a good gap between. Large round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Square muzzle of good breadth with good width and depth to the chin. The head was showing good balance. The coat needed more show preparation, appearing claggy behind the ears, flanks and undersides, the coat was glossy, every bit a kitten coat at present, developing length to the flanks, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted, the texture was soft. The tabby markings were of a rich red shown off by a lovely apricot ground colour. The face showed a good tabby pattern and the body showed a reasonable classic tabby pattern with the spine lines just needing to clear. Legs barred and rings to the tail. Lovely temperament.

Round amber eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a very shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Square muzzle of quite good width with nice depth to the chin just needing a little more width. Head balance developing well. Coat well shown, a nice glossy kitten coat with shaggy belly and breeches, feet tufted and a nice soft texture. The blue colour was of a mid to dark blue tone quite sound. Lovely temperament.

3RD DURHAM'S PURDYSTON BILLY BOB (64.31a) (M) 12.12.08

Six and half month old blue and white lad of good size and weight for age. Long body well boned and muscled with good breadth to the chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on the head with a good gap between. Round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a very shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Muzzle square of quite good width, the chin was of good depth just needing a little more width. Head developing good balance. The glossy kitten coat was well shown, the belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and a nice soft texture. The blue areas were of a nice tone, just showing some kitten browning at present. The pristine white areas were to the chin, bib, tummy and all four feet. Lovely temperament.

Large round green eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Muzzle lovely and square of good breadth with good width and depth to the chin. Excellent head balance. The coat was shown in tip top condition with a lovely glossy substantial top coat with good length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. Soft texture. The tabby markings were of a dense colour. The white areas were to the muzzle, bib, tummy and all legs. The face displayed a good tabby pattern and the body was covered by a clear classic tabby pattern, tail well ringed. Very showy lad with a super temperament.

Seventeen month old red classic tabby lad of very good size and weight. Long body well boned and muscled with very good breadth to chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on the head with a good gap between. Large round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, scissor bite. Square muzzle of good breadth with nice width and depth to the chin. Very good head balance. The coat was excellently prepared, soft texture, there was good substance to the glossy top coat with nice length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. The tabby markings were of a rich red shown off by a pleasing apricot ground colour. The face displayed a good tabby pattern, the classic pattern to the body was reasonably clear with just a little more clarity needed to the spine lines. Legs well barred and rings to the tail. Lovely lad with a good temperament.

3RD TAYLOR'S SHIMERCOON STAIRWAYTOHEAVEN (64.41) (MN) 8.7.08

Eleven and half month old brown classic tabby lad who was the youngest in this class. He was of good size and weight. Long body well boned and muscled with good breadth to chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to head with large ears well feathered and tufted held high on head with a good gap between. Round hazel eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a very shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Square muzzle of good breadth, the chin was of a nice depth just needing a little more width. The head was quite well balanced. The coat was excellently prepared, soft texture, with a lovely glossy substantial top coat with nice length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. The tabby markings were of a dense black shown off by a warm brown agouti ground colour. The face was well marked with a tabby pattern and the body displayed a clear classic tabby pattern. Legs well barred and rings to the tail. Lovely temperament.

The coat was well shown, soft texture with good substance to the glossy top coat with nice length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. The tabby markings were of a nice red shown off by a silvery ground colour. The white areas were to the chin, bib, tummy, front feet and back legs. The face displayed a good tabby pattern and the body was covered a clear well defined classic tabby pattern. Colour to legs barred and tail ringed. Good temperament.

Ten month old red classic tabby and white lad of quite good size and weight. Long body well boned and muscled with good breadth to chest and firm rump. Long tapering tail balanced the body. Good width to the head with large ears well feathered and tufted, held high on head with a good gap between. Round golden eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Nose of a uniform width with a shallow concave curve to the profile. Cheek bones high, level bite. Muzzle square of quite good width, the chin was of good depth, just needing a little more width. Quite good head balance. The coat was well shown, with a soft glossy substantial top coat with length to the flanks and frontal ruff, belly and breeches shaggy, feet tufted and profuse flowing fur to the tail. The tabby markings were of a rich red shown off by a nice apricot ground colour. The pristine white areas were to the chin, bib, tummy and four feet. The face displayed a good tabby pattern,the classic tabby pattern to the body was quite good with more clarity needed to the spine lines. Coloured areas to legs barred and rings to the tail. Good temperament.
