My grateful thanks to Both Jean & Brenda for my invitation, busy day & a full book, some extremely impressive exhibits, wonderful weather. To Tom Cassar-Simmonds my thanks for his assistance on the day, performed his duties well particularly in view of the wide range of breeds handled many of which he was unfamiliar with. One note of comment I never did get lunch they seemed to run out of everything very quickly. Burmese Imperial Grand Champion, Female;IMP GR CH WILSHAW'S GR CH ROSSIKHAN CUPCAKE. 27b. 16-08-07.Chocolate, simply drooly lady, who looked simply gorgeous & oozing type. Short wide wedge, excellent blunt muzzle, well rounded top in both directions, deep break short nose, excellent chin lining up to the nose, excellent bite. Ears larger medium size, beautifully placed, with their wide base & hint of forward tilt, rounded tips. Stunning eyes, large with well emphasised shape having deeply curved lower line with gentle slant off the top, lustrous chartreuse colour with a wonderfully wicked expression combined with a slight quizzical gleam. Body whilst still quite dainty is beautifully proportioned & surprising weight behind her for her size, lovely tone, slim legs & neat feat, quite a fine tail slihgtly short of shoulder & with rounded tip. Superb coat, short, close & beautifully prepared, lovely satiny finish, sleek glossy sheen. Rich warm chocolate colour without undue contrast. Her condition was superb & she was a perfect dream to handle, later Best Overall Burmese & was the runner up to my Overall Best in Show winner, she really was Drop Dead Gorgeous, a lovely way to lift your day (wasn’t meant to sound poetic). RES IMP GR CH BRIDGES'S GR CH ARTRO BLUE DIAMOND. 27a. 21-08-04.Blue, most attractive madam with lovely type, quite a degree of attitude. Excellent head type, short wide wedge, blunt muzzle, rounded top line, break well in evidence, good chin & level bite. Ears well set, touch of forward tilt with wide base & rounded tips, very good medium size. Eyes large, shape well defined, chartreuse colour, flashing with indignation, really looking the part. Excellent firm weighty body, the legs well shaped & with neat oval paws, tail of medium thickness a little short of shoulder, rounded tip. Beautifully sleek short well prepared coat, very close lying, excellent texture. The colour was a very attractive even mid blue tone with soft sheen visible on the shorter more rounded areas. Condition was splendid, feisty madam with quite a lot to say for herself, none of which was polite, but gave her a little impact. Oriental Grand Champion, Male; IMP GR CH & RES IMP GR CH Not Awarded.1st ARMITAGE'S GR CH CHAPELROSE OHMEOHMY. 37a. 13-11-07.Blue, I love the type of this lad but sadly for me he lacks both the masculinity & stature that this level of certificate demands. He has a lovely head with its even lines to the wedge, very good profile, chin has depth but tapers a little, level bite. Large beautifully set ears, excellent wide open flared base, beautifully set in a fixed position to complement his head lines. Eyes inscrutable oriental shape & slant, intense vivid green colour, lovely expression, though he does squint on occasion, but this is transient as opposed to fixed. Elegant neckline, body lithe & well muscled but not the size that I expect of male, slender limbs, neat oval paws, fine whiptail of excellent length to balance. His coat is beautifully short & very close lying, excellent preparation, sleek finish. Colour a very dark albeit even shade of blue, beautifully sound. His condition was superb, wonderfully composed gentle nature, a real dream to handle, never easy to withhold particularly when I am a fan, however I just look at him & think ‘if only you were a girl’ but sadly he’s not. 2nd THOMPSON'S GR CH CLAERPENTON PIMPERNEL. 29c. 23-03-07.Lilac, by contrast quite a handsome, mature & masculine looking lad but not the sheer style of the previous exhibit. Longer length wedge, even lines, excellent profile, good chin & bite. Ears large but require slightly more flare to the base & he pricks them a little high. Eyes very good shape & set, the colour a rather eau de nil shade of green lacking the vivid tone that the SOP requires ( a priority at this level). He has a good length of neck, long strong well muscled body, long slim legs, oval paws, the tail requires a little more length to balance the body fully. His coat was quite close lying, though it could be a little shorter & it is a little harsh along the back area. Colour was a little uneven with some rusty tinge evident in parts this detracted from the required soft frosty tone & lacked the pink to give warmth. His condition was excellent & again he has a very gentle & relaxed temperament. Selkirk Rex Adult, Male;1st IC & BOB. CREATON & WALKER'S CURLU NATE 79L 15. 19-04-08.Black, looking grown up & handsome. Head has good rounded width to it, well developed fullness at the cheeks, good rectangular muzzle effect with puffed pads, rounded brow, nose falls away slightly, good chin & bite. Ears are a little wide open at their base, curly inner furnishings, tufted tips, medium size. Eyes large well open & round, colour a greenish hazel tone (not that this is relevant). Strong neck, good rectangular body with a good degree of muscular substance, well boned legs & good size paws, balanced length moderately heavy tail with a good deal of loose curling plume to it. Coat very good length with a good degree of curly ruff framing the face, abundant loose curl which parts easily throughout, there is very good density & the curl is soft & unstructured. Some degree of greying at the edges in the longer areas but as colour is irrelevant I mention this purely for descriptive purposes as he is otherwise quite a good black. His condition excellent & he is a very amicable lad. 2nd LEE'S SEWNSEW WOTSITABOUTALFIE. 79s 16. 14-04-08.Blue, though the same age as the winner he lacks his maturity & as result still has quite an innocent adolescent look about him. Head round & possessing a good degree of fullness to his cheeks, still a little fine on the muzzle & not quite the prominence of muzzle, rounded brow, moderately short nose, chin tapers, bite good. Ears medium size, pricks marginally high, small tufts on the tips, some sparser curls to the interiors. Eyes round & well open, the colour again more hazel green tone. Body not as rectangular as the winner his slightly more compact & cobby, well boned legs & good size paws, the tail quite thick & a good medium length. Beautiful density to his coat with a soft plush texture to it, lots of loose random curls evident throughout & with typically tighter areas round his neck, throat & tummy. Colour a pleasing shade of soft blue, the effect further softened by the curl breaking up the colour. His condition was super & again he was most relaxed & gentle lad. British Blue Neuter, Male; PC & BOB Not Awarded.1st PARISH'S KERNMERE BLUE CHESTA. 16-05-08.This lad has potential but he is so out of kilter at present, looking very baby faced & the head small in relation to the body, needs quite a bit of time before he gets it all sorted out. His head though round has to broaden & fill out, particularly the cheeks to give him a more typical British look, good muzzle, the brow rounds to medium nose, adequate chin, bite good. Ears a little large should look much more proportionate when his head develops more, open base, set well. Eyes well open & round though could be larger, the colour a very good golden orange. Body though well grown is long & gangly, requiring time to broaden & fill out, a little leggy, good paws, tail in keeping with the body length. His coat is rather flat at present requiring more density, quite good shorter length, still relatively soft but not altogether out of keeping for his young age. His colour is quite a soft shade of blue with some tipping present but otherwise sound. His condition was excellent, he has wonderfully gentle nature, sorry I could not award a PC to celebrate his Birthday, hopefully when he has grown up some……………..!! British Blue Neuter, Female; PC & BOB Not Awarded.1st MCCONNELL'S EYTONIA MYSTIC SAPPHIRE. 26-01-07.Whilst not overly large she was a most attractive girl for type. Head well rounded with good breadth & fullness to her cheeks, round on the brow, good chin & bite. Ears smaller medium size, placed well & looking tidy as a result. Eyes good size, well open & round but sadly green in colour with not the slightest hint of yellow tone, which was my only reason for not awarding. Body quite compact & cobby, with proportionate legs & smaller round paws, tail of medium length. Her coat, marginally soft, reasonable shorter length & quite a good density. Her colour a mid blue tone, which could ideally have been sounder a little brindled on the tips in places. Very sweet gentle disposition, her condition also very good. Selkirk Rex Neuter, Male;1st PC & BOB. CREATON & WALKER'S CRINKLES JACK FROST (TICA DGRCH). 79L 15d. 02-05-07.Red, this lad was looking very finished & poised. Broad head with rounded appearance & good fullness to the cheeks, slight downward slant to the nose, slight curve to his brow, broad rectangular muzzle, chin could be a little deeper, bite good. Ears were very placed being set well apart & not distorting the head shape, tufts on the tips & with plenty of loose curly interior furnishings. Eyes large, well open round shape, light golden colour. Body has very pleasing solid feel to it, rectangular shape, well boned legs, large paws, plumy full tail which was quite heavy & of medium length. Lovely soft dense coat which stands from the body with loose unstructured curls well in evidence, the length very good, with a curling ruff, curly tummy, wonderful set of long curling whiskers & eyebrows. Quite a good bright red tone, which was also reasonably sound (not that it matters). Condition excellent, very gentle relaxed nature. No Award. WALKER'S AMAZOLOU MISTER FANTASTIC. 79L 36. 03-04-07.Red Smoke, almost ditto to the above, in most respects & had he been less difficult the certificate could have gone either way. Same build, same downward rolled slant to the nose, rectangular puffed whisker pads, his head type excellent, just requiring a little more evidence of nose break, lovely long whiskers & eyebrows with curl present. Ears medium size fitting well into the head shape, tufted tips. Eyes round, open, good size the colour a deeper orange tone. Excellent body & plenty of coat, with lots of random unstructured curl to be found, a little denser round the neck. Decidedly not happy to be handled so his bite was not checked & he really was quite determined that he was not going to allow other than the most minimal of handling, his condition was excellent. Chocolate Burmese Adult, Male; CC Not Awarded.1st SOMERFIELD'S KATZKADE SARACEN. 15-05-08.Gangly & looking a little unbalanced adolescent. Head requires a little more width & a little more blunt effect to the muzzle, top reasonably well rounded, deep stop, marginally long nose, chin slopes a little, bite good. Ears placed well apart, rounded tips & good medium size. Eyes quite large but the shape requiring a little more emphasis to the lower line, chartreuse colour. Body quite lithe & typically young adolescent leanness on the flanks, still to achieve a boys more solid muscular hardness, slim legs & oval paws, tail of balanced length slightly short of shoulder. Coat a little open & a little longer in length, as a result lacking the sleekness & satiny finish. Warm coloured chocolate body but showing rather defined contrast to the mask, ears & tail in particular. He was very relaxed & good natured, condition very good, some of his current problems are I think transitional, so may well improve with a little more maturity. Chocolate Burmese Adult, Female;1st CC & BOB. WILSHAW'S GR CH ROSSIKHAN CUPCAKE. ‘Nuff’ said, see Imperial report.Cream Burmese Adult, Male; CC & BOB Not Awarded.1st HAGUE'S COBATEL ODYSSEUS INVELVET. 11-07-08.Very well grown & well muscled youngster. Head could be a fraction wider, reasonably short wedge & blunt effect to the muzzle, rather long flat skull, break requires more definition. Ears medium size, the tips rounded but require a little wider base & touch of forward tilt. The eye colour is a most pleasing yellowy chartreuse tone but require a more typical deeper curved lower line to give emphasis to the shape & I would prefer these larger. Strong beautifully muscled body for his young age, well shaped legs, oval paws, well proportioned medium thickness to the tail which is a little short of shoulder with rounded tip. Close lying coat, good shorter length, well prepared satin like texture. Colour slightly warm toned cream, with a hint of powdery bloom. His condition was excellent, a very shy & reserved lad & as result rather tense & not showing to advantage. 2nd CLARKE'S DOREVALLEY AKHENATON. 29-04-06.This lad is excessively hot & in some other breeds would be Apricot, but Burmese do not recognise the colour so I judged him as a poor cream. He is a powerful & extremely muscular lad but his head is not typical, being rather too even a medium length wedge, with no bluntness to his muzzle, top requires more rounding, shallow break, rather long nose, chin okay, bite good. Ears are large & rather too low in set, wide base. Eyes are showing too much evidence of green tones & could be a more defined shape, quite good for size. Lovely strong body of medium length, super weight for size, with proportionate legs & paws, medium thickness to his tail which is short of shoulder but with a small irregularity. Coat close lying & well prepared, could be fraction shorter, sleek finish. His colour is a very intense, very hot glazed cream, with no real evidence of powdering to soften the effect, over the head, shoulder & hocks in particular he has a distinctly metallic sheen. He was an extremely retiring lad, much preferring the safety afforded by his pen, condition excellent. AOC Tortie Burmese Adult;Considered for & Awarded BOB. RIDDLE'S GR CH CHATHERA PRECIOUS PEARL. 27h. 31-07-03.Chocolate, a most pleasing balanced lady of excellent type & also stylish, one of the entries in the Imperial & main contender for the Reserve. Head has typical short wide wedge, blunt muzzle, top rounds well, very good break, short nose, good depth chin, bite good. Ears well placed medium size, wide base, gentle hint of forward tilt, round on the tips, Large expressive eyes, shape well defined at the greener end of the chartreuse range. Body is firm & beautifully toned, slim legs, oval paws, tail short of shoulder, medium thickness, rounded tip. Her coat though marginally long was beautifully close lying & has a very good sleek well prepared satin like texture. Very good combination of colours with warm chocolate & varied shades of red, some patched & some mingled. Her condition was really excellent & she is a very well mannered lady. Also Considered for BOB. STEPHENS'S GR CH MILLGILLTHEATRICS. 27j. 14-03-06.Lilac, pleasing lady with a lovely gentle demeanour. Head has a moderately short wedge, I would prefer the muzzle a little blunter ideally, top rounds, good break, nose could be a fraction shorter, firm chin & level bite. Ears medium size, I would have preferred a little wider at the base, rounded tips, pricks a little on occasion. Eyes could perhaps be slightly larger & required a little more evidence of cupped lower line to give more typical Burmese shape, the colour has a distinct leaning to green, gentle expression. Lovely firm body tone, well proportioned legs & paws, medium thickness to her tail which is a little short of shoulder. The coat slightly woolly & as result not quite as sleek but otherwise close lying. Soft pinky dove grey with shades of cream, couple of slightly warmer toned areas. Her condition was excellent & she was a very composed lady. AOC Burmese Kitten;1st & BOB. WILLIAMS'S MOLYNMEUX ZAZEUX. 27j. 23-12-08.Lilac, what a lovely kitten full of quality & a wonderful character. Typical Burmese type with her short wide wedge, blunt muzzle, well rounded top, well defined break, chin & bite both good. Ears quite large, beautifully set, wide base & rounded tips. Eyes lovely expression, large & well shaped with gentle slant to the top line, light yellowy chartreuse. Firm little body, with slender limbs, dainty paws, quite fine tail a little short of shoulder, with rounded tip. Super coat, very short & close lying, satiny texture, glossy sheen. Most attractive colour, warm soft dove grey with abundant cream in varying cooler shades, very subtle colour tone. Her condition quite superb with a really charming temperament, later Best Burmese Kitten, congratulations. Red Burmese Neuter, Female;1st PC & BOB. SWINGLER'S CH ADMILBU SWEET CLEMENTINE. 26-02-00.Looking good for her mature years. Head has quite a short wide wedge, the muzzle could be slihgtly more blunted, rounded top in both directions, good break, quite a good chin, gums level no incisors to gauge her bite by. Ears smaller medium size, touch of forward tilt, well placed, could be a little wider at the base perhaps, rounded tips. Eyes quite large with upward slant, just requiring the benefit of more deeply curved lower line, chartreuse in colour (slight leaning towards the green end of the range). Body surprisingly firm & well toned, albeit perhaps a little more rounded in the waistline, slim legs, small neat paws, tail slightly short for balance, rounded tip. Her coat was a little on the longer side & a touch woolly undercoat due to age, but that aside it was well prepared & was close when stroked, excellent texture. Colour a bright shade of hot tangerine, which was impressively even. Her condition was excellent & she was a very relaxed lady. AOC Tortie Burmese Neuter; Exceptionally good class with at least 3 potential BOB winners.1st & PC RIDDLE'S CH OAKFORD DRESS TO IMPRESS. 27j. 27-10-06.Lilac, mature girl beautifully balanced & with bags of ‘c-attitude’. Strong balanced head, short wide, blunt wedge, rounded top line, well defined break, good chin & level bite. Ears set well apart, wide base & showing rounded tips, touch of forward tilt. Gorgeous eyes, large & with deeply curved lower line, slanted top, chartreuse colour, withering expression. Lovely firm body of medium length, slim legs, neat dainty paws, well shaped tail of well balanced length. Wonderful coat, very sleek & well prepared, short & close lying. Warm lilac with frosty pink tone & shades of cream. Her condition was excellent, handled really well but was keen to show who was in charge when returned to her pen a little feisty one could say. 2nd FERGUSON'S MYTHIAN TUNUKANA. 27h. 30-10-01.Chocolate, another well balanced mature lady who was a little on the plumper side. Very good type, wedge short & wide, good blunt appearance to the muzzle, top nicely rounded, well marked break, the chin requiring a little more depth, bite good. Gentle forward tilt to the ears which are a good medium size & well placed. Eyes large the shape not quite so well defined as the winner, edging a little to the greener phase of chartreuse, pleasing expression. Body of medium length, okay so a little over her optimum weight (aren’t we all from time to time), well proportioned legs & paws, the tail just a little on the shorter side. Her coat is showing signs of her mature years in that it is a little on the longer side & not quite as sleek no doubt as in her youth, but that aside the texture still having a satin like feel to it. Warm chocolate base colour showing plenty of varying shades of tangerine could for personal preference show more to the brighter shades. Her condition & temperament both excellent. 3rd MCALL'S FAUNESE KISSING THEPINK. 27j. 17-11-00.Lilac, another older lady of mature years, whose waistline was a little extended. Not quite as short a wedge as the previous two exhibits & could be a little wider ideally, reasonable muzzle, top requires a little more rounding, quite good break, chin has a slight taper, bite good. Ears medium size, I would ideally prefer a little more width at their base, rounded tips, could be a fraction wider apart. Eyes large requiring just a little more emphasis to the shape, chartreuse colour. Body has a little more rounding which I have no doubt is attributable to age & good living, but nonetheless weighty, quite slender limbs, neat paws, tail slightly thicker at the base, rounded tip & marginally short due to the extended waistline. Her coat is of a woollier texture & not quite as sleek or short as a result, the texture very soft as opposed to satin like. Marginally darker shade of lilac base colour with warmer shades of cream in the main. Condition excellent, very sweet gentle nature. Considered for & Awarded BOB. SIMPSON'S IMP GR PR PAPGENA NADINA. 27h. 23-07-98.Chocolate, despite being the oldest in the class, still got it, that sheer presence & oomph factor that is difficult to ignore in any breed. Really lovely head of quality & finish, short wide wedge with blunt muzzle, well rounded top, deep break, short nose, strong chin & good bite. Ears medium size, well rounded tips, wide base, excellent setting, following through her wedge. Stunning eyes, large in size, excellent shape with slanted top & deeply curved lower line, colour faded a little but not the expression which is still incredibly wicked & so superior. Yes a little extended on the waistline, with age everyone is entitled to a little indulgence, beautifully firm with Burmese zipper line up her middle, slim legs, neat paws, tail a little short of shoulder, medium thickness, rounded tip. Her coat though now not quite as short (was despite a little more woolliness), still laying close & has a very good satiny texture. Lovely warmth to her chocolate with some varying shades of Tangerine, some of which are quite pale. Her condition quite superb, handled like a perfect lady (even when returned to her pen…………..). She really is a quality specimen & was later Best Burmese Neuter, giving me a full house in the section. Also Considered for BOB. BLAKE'S CH & PR HOBBERDY HOOPPCDAISY. 27h. 04-02-06.Chocolate, this was another quality exhibit, whilst not having the initial impact of the BOB winner, she was beautifully balanced & correct. Short wide blunt wedge, rounded top, deep break, short nose, chin could be just a tad deeper, bite good. Ears well set, medium size, some hint of forward tilt, well rounded tips. Large well shaped eyes, good chartreuse tone with hint of yellow, excellent expression. Body firm & weighty, slightly over her best, slim legs, small oval paws, tail a little short of shoulder, medium thickness. The coat was well prepared, could ideally be a little shorter & a touch sleeker, but nonetheless satiny finish. Attractive warmth to her chocolate tortie colour combination, with plenty of the red evident. Her condition was excellent, quite a shy retiring lady, very gentle disposition. Also Considered for BOB. BROWNING'S GR PR ROMID LUCIE. 27j. 11-04-01.Lilac, yet another mature lady who is very attractive. Head ideally requiring a little more depth, but her wedge was short & wide with a good blunt effect to her muzzle, top could be a little more rounded, very good break, requires a little more depth of chin ideally, bite good. Ears medium size, rounded tips touch of forward tilt, set well when completely relaxed. Eyes again a little towards the greener spectrum of chartreuse but to an acceptable degree, well shaped & good larger size. Body firm & well toned medium length body, the legs slim with neat paws, tail slightly on the short side, medium thickness, rounded tip. Her coat again marginally on the woollier side & could be shorter, which is no doubt attributable to her mature years, the texture rather soft as opposed to sleek. Cool warm base lilac tone with shades of varying cream. Her temperament was charming & her condition excellent. Oriental Bi-Coloured Neuter;1st IC & BOB. TAYLOR'S JADEVYN BRYCHAN TROEDMAWR. 48 40bt. 19-05-08.Chocolate Tabby Pointed, at literally just under a year he was very well balanced & just required the benefit of maturity to give that extra degree of impact. Strong balanced even triangular wedge, excellent profile, good depth of chin, bite meets….just. Ears large, wide base beautifully placed, very harmonious fixed position. Eyes have excellent oriental shape & slant, very good depth of blue the deeper coloured pigmented rim round the right eye, whilst the other is pink, lovely expression. Body is firm & well muscled despite his relative adolescence, well proportioned legs & oval paws, well balanced length fine tail with very small indiscretion at its extremity. Beautifully prepared short, close lying coat, the texture sleek & well finished. Quite a high degree of white, small tabby nose splodge, patches showing lightly spotted pattern on body, good tabby markings where present, the white beautifully clean & bright, the demarcation well contrasted & sharply defined, the actual chocolate tone was surprisingly warm considering it was a rather dark chocolate. His condition & presentation both superb, he was a very gentle & relaxed youngster. 2nd SOUTHALL'S SENSAY SQUADRON LEADER. 48 40. 26-06-07.Seal Pointed, this lad was well grown & very relaxed. Longer length wedge, which though a little narrow, was to a greater degree an optical illusion emphasised by his rather irregular nose blaze, also giving more of pinched effect than was there in reality, very good profile, needs a little more depth of chin, bite a mite overshot. Ears large & he carries them just a little high & bonnets. The eyes are a very good oriental shape but set a fraction straight, good clear bright blue. Long neckline, body long & well muscled, long legs, oval paws, quite a well balanced length of tail. Coat was beautifully close lying if a little long & also marginally harsh along the lower back. Has as stated a long blaze the length of his nose, white tips to the ears, generally I would state he was about 50% white to colour with warm body shading in patches points colour where applicable a very dense seal, there was a very slight amount of infringement of scattered white but nothing excessive. His condition & composure both excellent. AC Oriental Longhair Neuter, Female;1st PC & BOB. HART'S CH & GR PR APRIKAT SWEETCHARITY. 62 21. 31-05-04.Black Tortie, a mature & yes, slightly overweight lady but with a really lovely head. Not a long wedge in fact quite short, but beautifully even & equilateral giving a strong balanced appearance, excellent profile, beautifully strong chin, level bite. Her ears though not as large as I would ideally prefer are beautifully set & stay in a fixed low, wide set position, could be a little wider at the base (but in relation to their size as wide as they can be). Gorgeous eyes of deepest vivid green (that any Oriental would be proud of), oriental in both shape & slant, extremely expressive. She is a little wider across the waistline which undeniably detracts a little from overall elegance, but better that than the other alternative, relatively slim legs & smallish oval paws, well furnished tail plume, the tail itself requiring an inch or so. Excellent length of coat, with a lovely degree of flow over the body, full britches, lovely soft well prepared silken texture. Her colour is a very good mix of both black & varying shades of red, impressively sound. Wonderful condition & such an extremely gentle composed nature, if only she would show herself to display her quality to full advantage. A lovely lady. Tabby Point Siamese Adult, Male;1st CC & BOB. SMYTH'S NATHIFA GIGALO. 32 /8. 13-05-08.Caramel, certainly hope he can live up to the name, he is an inordinately handsome youngster, just to loose the slight look of innocence that he still possesses in order to achieve his full potential, which at his young age he is still entitled to have , so that should not be construed as criticism. Lovely head showing a good degree of strength, his wedge is very good length yet with balance, virtually even lines, very good profile, excellent chin, bite marginally over. Ears large & beautifully set with their wide base complementing his wedge. Gorgeous eyes, typical oriental shape & slant, the colour a deep intense vivid blue, the expression still the gentle look of inexperience with the ways of world. Long elegant neckline, super body long taut & well muscled, long legs, oval paws, well balanced long fine tail. His coat was most beautifully prepared, short & very close lying, superb sleek finish with subtle surface sheen. Clear cool body affording superb contrast to his Tabby tracings, the leg markings still quite subtle, well defined cheek ribbons, good ‘M’, some thumb prints on the ears, impressive tail rings, colour requires more evidence of brownish caste to create the taupe shade one associates as Caramel, well coloured hocks & the outer edges of the paws, hopefully the colour will deepen as reaches full maturity. His condition was splendid, wonderfully composed, oh so gentle nature, a dream to handle. Bags of style has all the elements that ladies will no doubt succumb to, later Best Siamese Adult, my run continues. Seal Point Siamese Neuter, Male; Only one for the Open but some quality to select from for the BOB.1st PC & BOB. COPELAND'S PR FLOWERDEW GTX PECTATIONS. 02-02-08.Beautifully flashy & incredibly stylish lad. Longer length with extremely minor pinch, just perhaps marginally fine on the muzzle were one to be hyper critical, stunning profile, chin has depth but tapers back a little, bite good. Wonderful ears, the wide flared base complementing his wedge beautifully, large & excellent set being wide apart. Sultry very expressive eyes, deep intense blue colour, excellent oriental shape, just a fraction deeper in set than I would ideally have preferred. Super neckline which he uses to complete advantage, long strong muscular lithe body, very long slender limbs, dainty oval paws, fine whip like tail of length to balance. A lot of work had gone into his coat which was sleek & beautifully close lying combined surprisingly shorter length than first impressions indicated. His points were dense with the exception of slight spectacle area & I would in all honesty prefer these a little warmer, there is still despite his body shading (which again could be a little warmer beige) an excellent degree of contrast. He has such a completely laid back temperament looking so sleepy & composed sells himself superbly, his condition was immaculate, another one for Best In Show & later Best Siamese, boy! was I having a good day. Also Considered for BOB. GOURLEY & WARD'S UK GR CH & PR SHERMESE PEPPERMINT. 17-04-03.Lovely mature & beautifully balanced lady, carrying her years well & looking impressive in her own right. Strong even lines to the wedge, excellent profile, chin okay. Ears are large & well set, wide at the base. Gorgeous eyes, beautifully expressive, pleasing depth of blue, oriental in both shape & slant. Body is an impressive size for a girl, yet retains elegance, slim legs, oval paws, tail requires a little more length to balance fully. Coat now slightly on the longer side but laying close & well prepared, quite sleek. Body is now quite extensively shaded but still with a good degree of contrast to her warm seal points but there is some degree of brindling on the cheeks in particular. Condition was excellent, a most amicable composed lady. Also Considered for BOB. MEEK'S GR PR SHEREMESE CHINA DOLL. 08-06-07.Daintier female yet firm & well toned. Has very good length well balanced even wedge, profile has a slight break, good chin. Ears set well apart & with good flare to the base, very good for size. Eyes very good wider oriental shape , with a good slanted effect, excellent deep blue colour, slightly moodier expression than the previous exhibit. Body whilst not overly large, possessed excellent firm tone, slim legs, neat paws, quite a fine tail, which could ideally use another inch or so. Her coat was a good shorter length & lay close, just a little on the harsher side along her spine line. Warm beige body with as result impressive contrast to the beautifully dense seal brown points with exception of her rather brindled tail. Her condition was excellent, bit grumpy but not in any way difficult. Also Considered for BOB. MUSSON'S GR PR MEILLAND MY KINDA GUY. 29-06-06.Another extremely stylish lad but still looking a little immature & could ideally be a touch more masculine. He has a very good length wedge, the lines beautifully even, profile not completely straight, reasonable chin. Ears very large & with a lovely flared open base, excellent set fixed low, wide apart position. Eyes beautiful oriental shape & setting, a bright intense deep blue colour, most pleasing expression. Long neckline, excellent length body, well toned & lithe, long slender limbs, neat paws, well balanced length fine tail. Well prepared short, close lying coat, very sleek finish. Warm toned lightly shaded beige body colour, excellent contrast with a very good degree of warmth to the points, slight amount of brindling only. Condition was super & he was a completely relaxed & gentle lad. AC Exotic Adult;1st WALLACE'S SHARISHIMA BILLY BOB. 70 12a 5. 03-04-08.Red Bi-Colour, this lad was very composed & possesses a pleasing balance & development. Strong masculine head type, broad well filled cheeks with good breadth overall well developed muzzle, nicely rounded skull, deep stop, snub nose, very well developed nose leather good depth chin, bite a little under. Beautifully placed ears, which were small in size & in keeping with the round head shape. Vivid coppery orange eyes, large & well rounded shape with a as a result a bold appearance. Good weighty body, cobby compact appearance, strong legs, good large round paws, heavy broad tail, short & proportionate to the body. Excellent density to the beautifully soft coat, standing well from the body, typical lively appearance. His white areas are beautifully clean & brighter, these are very random with splashes on the sides, some on his paws, legs chest & tummy, contrasting beautifully against the intense bright red, this though sound in colour was showing quite a degree of pattern still present particularly on the body, which will hopefully clear as he matures more fully. His condition was superb & he has a very calm relaxed nature 2nd BARRY'S BRONJOY DADDY'S GIRL. 70 13. 20-04-08.Blue-Cream, slightly rangier girl still to pack out a little albeit it generally well grown. Head has good rounded shape & the cheeks still to fill more, quite a well developed muzzle, good rounded skull shape, good stop, short nose, chin good, the bite a little more under than I would like to see. Ears moderately small, well rounded, set generally good. The eyes could be more open & fully rounded tending loose out on the boldness as a result, colour slightly more leaning to the hazel range than orange. Body possessing size but still at the slightly longer stage of development, proportionate legs & paws, the tail could be a little heavier & is marginally long, hopefully this is transitional developmental stage & will look more proportionate as she matures. Coat is soft & fine but requires a little more density to give a greater degree of lift & plushness to create more full of life effect. Colour is a very dark shade of blue with a slightly flat tone, some mingling of dark hot cream, small patch on the right front paw but otherwise good. Her condition & temperament both very good. 3rd BOWEN'S SLINKYPAWS ZSA ZSA GABOR. 70 8a. 14-06-08.Blue Tabby, sadly this girl's pattern (or more accurately, almost complete lack of) lets her down. Still very much a baby to look at facially which at her young age is not altogether uncharacteristic, the head is well rounded with good fullness at the cheeks becoming evident, rounded skull, short nose despite the shallow break, nose leather a little on the small side, chin good, bite under. Ears though relatively small are a little wide at the base, rounded shape!!. Eyes need to be more fully rounded to give the required more typical large bold appearance, very impressive orange colour. Body whilst still obviously with more growth to achieve is well proportioned for its size & has time on her side to mature, quite low on the legs, with well balanced tail. Coat with good density to it & a good softness, stands well from the body & has a quite a good lively feel to it. Pattern is quite difficult to describe as there is really so little of it, facial markings are very minimal & requires a greater degree of contrast, muted ribbons & 'M', no body pattern to speak of, just a bridled effect, even the leg bracelets are minimal, tail rings a little more evident. The colour is a darker shade of blue with a very slight hint of creaminess to the chest & inner leg area. Her condition was excellent & her temperament was charming. Chinchilla, Golden or Pewter Neuter;1st BAYLISS GR PR TAMOSAH FADE TOGREY. 53a. 06-06-07.Blue Pewter, large well grown lad. Broad well rounded head shape, good breadth to the cheeks, well developed muzzle, skull well rounded, stop could be deeper & the nose drops away a little, strong chin, good bite. Ears are set well, with well furnished interiors, rounded tips, slightly wide base. Eyes I would ideally prefer a little larger to give a bolder appearance, but that said round in shape & well open, with a very good copper colour. Body is large albeit marginally long, with well boned legs & good paws, tail a little on the thinner side & the brush requires more fullness. Very good length of coat, still with some old coat so there were some guard hairs present, reasonable ruff considering the weather. He is what is says on the tin with regard to colour having a blue mantle of colour over a bluish silver undercoat, with well defined contrast, creating the required pewter effect, very slight amount of ghosting on the legs. Blue eye rims & paw pads, soft dusty outlined nose leather. His condition was excellent & he was quite a composed fellow. AC Exotic Neuter;1st HANCOX'S LINNEL BROWN VELVET. 70 8 30. 01-03-08.Brown Spotted Tabby, well developed youngster showing a good degree of maturity for his young age & looking handsome. Lovely broad well rounded head, full cheeks, well rounded skull, deep stop, short snub nose, well developed muzzle, good depth chin, minimal under bite. Ears are small & fit beautifully into the head shape, creating a neat tidy appearance, set wide. His eyes are large & well open with a pleasing boldness, the colour a very impressive coppery orange colour. Well grown lad, lovely body, compact in shape, broad chest, low on his well boned legs, good size round paws, broad moderately well balanced tail. Lovely coat, excellent degree of density & standing well form the body, beautifully soft with an excellent full of life quality. Well marked facials with spotted whisker pads, good cheek stripes, clear 'M' to the brow , body showing obvious spotted pattern with quite a good degree of contrast to the warm ground colour, the leg bracelets excellent, abundant tail rings on the underside in particular, black tail tip & also well up the heels. Overall he has quite an attractive warmth to his colour. His condition was splendid & he has a very composed gentle nature, quality young lad. AC Siberian Cat;1st BAXTER'S ESAYA SAHARA OF ELMARLAY. 82 20. 20-07-08.Brown Tabby, well prepared young girl, though still with growth potential & maturity to achieve she is showing good development for her very youthful age. Broad short wedge with well rounded contours, broad muzzle flows into the low cheek bones, chin could be a little deeper ideally, excellent bite. Ears are set quite low, with rounded tips, with tufts, well furnished. Eyes quite large & full, wide oval shape with a very gentle slant, green in colour. Body still to acquire the degree of heft that maturity should bring, but quite proportionate & correct for her stage of development, good bone to the legs, rounded paws, small tufts emanating, beautifully furnished tail of balanced length. Her coat was really well prepared, with some evidence of double coat, top coat perhaps a little on the softer side but with the required longer guard hairs along her lower back to give a degree of resilience. Spotted Tabby pattern with a pleasing degree of warmth, whilst there are no points for colour or pattern it is aesthetically pleasing when there is a degree of clarity & definition which this girl had. Her condition & temperament both excellent. AC SLH Visitors Kitten, Female;1st LORD'S SHEERCLASS PEGGI SOO. 64 41w. 12-09-08.Brown Tabby & White, though getting to the slightly gawky teenage phase she is in the main (oops), coming along well. Head has high well defined cheeks, the muzzle has quite a good degree of squareness, brow rounds gently & has a good slight concave curve at the nasal bridge, her chin though having depth does taper a little, bite good. Excellent ears, which are both large & wide at the base, tufted tips, good inner furnishings, well pricked. Eyes good larger size, round in shape, slight obliqueness to the setting, very good green. Good neck, the body having a good length to create the rectangular appearance, well boned legs, with good size paws, tail I would prefer a little longer, quite a good degree of flow beginning to develop. White on all paws, chest & tummy, her pattern is a good example of SLH Classic Tabby, good facials, with butterfly over the shoulders, not perfectly defined oysters but they are there, lines down her back, tail more solid on the surface. Has good degree of contrast to the ground colour. Condition & temperament both excellent. 2nd HEWITT'S CHATTACOON DOLLY MIXTURE. 64 31et. 13-01-09.Black/Brown Tortie Tabby & White, pretty baby, a little nervous, whose coat required a little more preparation to make her look her best. Head showing promise, slightly longer than wide, cheeks beginning to define, some muzzle pinch possibly teething detracts, the actual muzzle has quite a good squareness to it, brow rounded, slight concave curve in profile, quite a good depth of chin. Ears large & with tufted tips, good inner furnishings, the ears set quite tall when she settled a little. Lovely eyes, round & the setting with a slight obliqueness to it, hazel green tone, quite expressive. Body still very much the baby as yet, but the proportions are all correct, tufts on the paws, tail could be a little longer, not much in the way of furnishing as yet, still at the baby stage as to be expected but a little on the lank side. Her Tortie Tabby combination is very attractive with bright shades of red present, the white areas clean & sharp, white chin, white on all paws & tummy, good pattern coming through. Very sweet nature, just suffering a little from show nerves. AC Maine Coon Kitten;1st JONES'S COONFLAKES QUANTUMOFSOLACE. 64 41dsw. 17-09-08.Red Silver Tabby & White, what a very splendid looking young lad, extremely handsome & wonderfully confident, certainly has presence. Excellent masculine look already becoming evident, the length & little longer than wide, well defined high cheeks, with excellent muzzle development, being square & strong, broad pads, gentle rounded brow line with slight concave curve at the bridge of the nose, strong chin of depth, excellent bite. Ears beautifully set, being quite tall & well pricked, well furnished interiors, size enhanced by the tufted tips. Lovely eyes, very expressive, quite large & with a pleasing gentle oblique setting, light amber/hazel tone. Strong neck, with long well muscled body already with the required rectangular appearance, excellent well boned strong legs & large paws with tufts emanating from beneath, absolutely glorious tail, very good length with beautifully full flow also evident, certainly gives a degree of finish. His coat was of excellent length & superbly well prepared, excellent density, some ruff starting to develop, shaggy tummy, good britches, glossy top coat. His Tabby pattern is very good, with all the required elements, butterfly, linked oysters quite well matched, lines down his back, well marked leg bracelets, even to some degree tail rings (albeit more evident on the underside). Silver ground colour has the typical reddish glow & could be a little more contrasted if you were being extremely picky, quite low on the white but in all the right places i.e. all paws, chest, tummy etc., beautiful clean sparkling white. His condition & presentation both superb, wonderfully composed lad who has already assumed the typical Maine Coon pose of outstretched limbs. 2nd GRIFFITHS'S JAY SILVER HEELS. 64 41sw. 10-01-09.Black Silver Tabby & White, though very much a baby has a great deal of potential & lost out to some degree due to the finish of the winner not through any failings of his own. Head most promising, already possessing good cheek definition, good square boxy appearance to his muzzle, good prominence to his whisker pads, gentle concave curve at the bridge of his nose, good depth chin, bite level, swollen gums. Excellent ears, wide base, set well, displays them beautifully once he is alert, very good longer inner ear furnishings & well tufted tips. Eyes good size, & rounded shape, obliquely set, hazel green tone, such a gentle expression. Body in keeping with his young age, good weight, strong well boned legs & large paws which he has yet to fill, with tufts. His coat has a very good length & despite being at the very soft baby wispy stage with fringes shows a great deal of promise, excellent britches, with longer soft tummy area, impressive whiskers & eyebrows in white. Sparkling clean inverted white on his face, with white chin, chest, tummy & legs, his pattern is showing well defined contrast to the silver ground colour, both of which are well defined by the white areas, black heels. He has a wonderfully gentle nature & was in immaculate condition, lovely preparation. 3rd ASINDER'S CELTICOON CHARLIE BROWN. 64 41w.AC Bengal Kitten;1st WAGSTAFF'S SEREGON RODRGUEZ. 76 20. 03-11-08.Brown Marbled, very striking kitten of excellent type. Head has a rounded medium wedge, broad puffed whisker pads, well defined cheeks, rounding skull with gentle profile break, strong chin, good bite. Ears medium size, round on the tips, set well following the contours of the face, quite short. Large full rounded oval shape to the eyes, very gentle slant, excellent green tone. Body is beautifully firm & developing firm hard muscle tone, good bone to the legs & good size paws, medium length tail, moderately thick, rounded tip. Lovely coat, dense & close lying, medium length, gorgeous soft texture. Most impressive facial striations, spotted whisker pads, well marked cheek stripes, complicated brow marking, pattern shows scrolled marbling along the body with triple colour to the pattern, darker outline defining contrast, to the warm apricot ground colour, excellent broad leg bracelets & good tail rings, colour well up the hocks, brick coloured nose leather. Lovely clarity overall with the contrast sharply defined. Noisy but easy to handle & the condition was excellent. 2nd HALLIGAN'S MUMANDACATS KUBLA KHAN. 76 30. 24-12-08.Brown Spotted, very much more of baby but looked much better out than first appearances indicated. Head still to broaden a little more across both the cheeks & the muzzle but not out of keeping with his age, rounded brow, very slight concave curve at the brow line, good chin & bite. Ears initially pricked a little tall but better as he relaxed, pointing forward. Eyes slightly more round in shape, with muddy green tone still to clear fully. Body has good length, still obviously with a considerable amount of growth to achieve if he is to live up to his name, the bone generally good, with proportionate legs & paws, the tail a mite fine. Coat wispy baby length, soft but still to acquire density & the more luxurious finish which is indicative of a Bengal, not criticism merely a factor of his very young age. Lovely facial markings, well rosetted varied size & shaped spots, good contrast & the leg bracelets are excellent with spotting on the paws, very good tail rings. Temperament & condition both excellent. End of Report.
