National Cat Club Show 28th November 2009 Mrs Lesley Miles

Many thanks to Carol and her team for my invite. Also grateful thanks to my friend Susan Knight who came specially to steward for me.

Black Silver Tabby – Male

CC withheld – Warnes Colinswood Silver Jenson

Well grown boy with a fairly rounded head shape. Well set ears but flared at base. Rounded cheeks, large round eyes of good green colour. Short broad brick coloured nose leather, level bite and firm chin. Heavy muscular body with good strong legs and rounded paws. Tail of correct length showing clear rings. Clear spine lines, brindled butterfly, matching oysters with bulls eyes. Tabby pattern was not as jet black as I would like it to have been and he has fawning on his face, chest and front legs. There is no silver contrast on these areas at all which is why I withheld his c.c..

Black Silver Tabby – Female

C.C. withheld – Williams Crowvalley Silver Pawthea

Sweet girl but a little on the small side. Little round headshape, rather large ears at present, she lacks cheeks but hopefully these will develop as she grows as she is only one and a half years old. Large expressive eyes of super green colour. Short broad brick coloured nose, level bite and firm chin. Medium weight to body. Good black on a lovely clear silver contrast. Her pattern let her down today, Her central spine line is broken, her butterfly brindled and no complete ring around her oyster. Basically she lacks tabby pattern. Lovely short coat and fairly dense to touch. Lovely temperament.

2nd – Day’s Graygees Little Extra

Large well grown girl with a well rounded head shape, ears flared at base, chubby cheeks, lovely round eyes of green. Short broad brick nose, level bite and firm chin. Heavy cobby body standing on chunky legs and rounded paws. Tail in proportion showing rings. Clear spine lines with brindling within the lines. Clear butterfly, matching oysters. Coat short and fairly dense. She has excessive fawning on her face, no silver contrast at all in this area.

Brown, Blue, Chocolate or Lilac Tabby Adult

C.C. withheld – Coulthurst’s Satinmist Supurr Samson (20)

Lovely boy of excellent type and size for his age. Excellent round head with well set ears. Round eyes of deep gold, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Cobby heavy body with short thickset legs and rounded paws. Tail of medium length showing rings but with solid colour along the ridge of the tail. Jet black tabby pattern, clear spinelines, butterfly and oysters. But his ground colour of rich copper brown is non existent. He has this lovely rich colour on his face but nowhere else. Such a shame and the reason I withheld his c.c. today.

British Blue Kitten – Male

1st – Webb’s Lilybells Monte Carlo

Sweet little boy, only just old enough to be here today, very compact. Little round head, ears a tad large at present. Round eyes showing a green rim at present. Short broad nose, level bite, chin could be firmer for balance. Good weight for his age. Thick tail with rounded tip. Short legs and large round paws for his age. Coat a tad dark in colour, dense but unsound today and a little long in length with some slight silver tipping evident.

2nd – Frost’s Stefroshe Singingtheblues (5 months)

Well grown little boy of very nice type. Fairly rounded head, ears well set but large, hopefully he will grow into them. Round eyes of deep gold showing a green rim. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Heavy body with good lefgs and paws. Lovely thick tail. Coat of medium blue, sound to roots but long in length.

British Blue Kitten – Female

1st & Bob – Lorton-Hobb’s Loraston Joni Mitchell

Super girl of excellent type. Lovely round headshape with wellset ears, just a little flared at base. Excellent round eyes or orange colour. Balanced cheeks, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Heavy compact body with thick short lets and rounded paws. Tail in proportion, thick at base with a rounded tip. Super medium blue coat, short and ver dense. Very promising young lady.

2nd – Conneallly’s Tanyrallt Nextbestthing

Well grown girl of very nice type. Headshape developing well, ears well set but flared at base. Round eyes of deep gold, showing a slight green rim. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Heavy body with short thickset legs and rounded paws. Tail of correct length, thick at base with a rounded tip. Coat of medium blue, fairly short and dense.

3rd – Godsmark’s Suntrek Ragtime Rosie

Well grown young lady with a neat round head, ears a little large at present for balance. Lovely round eyes or orange colour. Short straight nose, level bite, chin a tad weak. Heavy compact body with matching legs and paws. Tail, thick at base and of correct length. Good medium blue coat, short and dense.

4th – Hollandt’s Pridykats Blue-Stargazer

Pretty girl with a well rounded head, ears rather large at present for balance and flared at base. Lovely expressive round eyes of orange colour, unfortunately just showing some eye stain on the left eye. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Good heavy body with short legs and rounded paws. Tail of correct length. Coat of medium blue colour, short and dense.

Chocolate Neuter

1 PC Withheld – McLean’s Moormist Chocolate Parfait.

This young man has a fair headshape, ears held rather low on his head and flared at base. He lacks cheeks which make his head shape rather narrow. Round eyes of pale gold colour showing a green rim. Body of medium build. Tail of correct length. Coat of good chocolate colour, but long in length and unsound today. Sorry to withhold his p.c. but he has too many faults for a show cat.

Blue Cream Neuter

BOB – Harrison’s Pr Diwali Katalina

A.C. Colourpointed Neuter

1 p.c. – Gardner’s Ch Nortonwood Carla Marie (40-10)

Pretty girl with a lovely round head and well set neat ears. Balanced cheeks, eyes of good blue colour, just spoilt by the fact that she is a little heavy browed. Lovely clear matchng points on a clear contrast. Coat fairly short and dense.
