As always a happy well run show, many thanks to Gillian, Bruce and their team for my invitation to judge, excellent hospitality, lovely cats to judge, and the help of my steward Sheila Watt, many thanks Sheila.

AV SLH IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER MALE

IMP.GR.PREM.CERT. BALFOUR’S GR. PR. NORSHELIAN AXEL SKAUGONGEN. 67 31s. 040305.

Triangular head with long straight profile, forehead slightly rounded, firm chin, large ears with good width at base, just holding them slightly “bonneted”, expressive eyes, large oval and well opened. Very good conformation and condition, solid bone structure, standing high on legs with large round paws, long balanced tail. Coat well presented, beginning to loose his winter coat. Lovely temperament.

Overall nicely balanced head, broad with flat plane and good width between ears, cheeks well developed with a rounded well developed muzzle, firm chin and level bite, medium length nose, dip showing and retrousse at tip. Medium size ears set wide apart with slight tilt forward, eyes a little deep set showing good colour. Very good conformation and condition, substantial bone, balanced tail. Coat soft and silky well presented, front paws showing mittens, back legs matching, points colour evenly coloured, body shady.

Triangular head with all sides equal, long straight profile, forehead slightly rounded, strong chin, large ears good width at base and placed high on scull open set following lines of the head down to the chin, large open oval eyes – lovely expression. Very good conformation and condition, solid bone structure, balanced tail. Very good coat quality, well presented. Sweet temperament.

Broad top of head, scull a little uneven, cheeks well developed, strong round muzzle with firm chin, short broad nose good break large nostrils, ears well placed, eyes could be a little larger showing good colour. Cobby body, short strong legs and balanced tail. Very good coat texture and presentation, showing minimum colour, face showing pale blue , cream and white, body showing patches of cream surrounded by sparkling white, coloured tail, I would prefer the cream not to be quite so “hot”.

A mature boy in lovely condition and such a sweet nature. Strong broad head with rounded scull and neatly placed ears, small short broad nose with accentuated break and large nostrils, full well developed cheeks and strong rounded muzzle with firm chin, eyes showing deep colour perhaps just a touch small. Overall very good body shape in lovely condition, short strong boned legs and balanced tail. Very good coat texture, soft and plush very presented, rich red markings with good contrast.

A mature working boy. Overall very nicely balanced head, strong rounded scull with neatly placed ears, well developed cheeks, strong rounded muzzle and firm chin, eyes quite small and deep set showing very good colour, short broad nose good break and large nostrils. Compact cobby body, strong bone and balanced tail. Coat very good texture and lovely presentation, deep rich red markings on an apricot base. How lovely to see a working boy presented in this manner.

Eight years old and looking great today. Broad strong head, rounded scull with neatly placed ears, well developed cheeks, strong muzzle firm chin, large expressive eyes with strong colour, short broad nose good break. Cobby body, strong leg and balanced tail. Coat very well presented, soft texture and still holding on to his winter coat, showing maximum colour, lovely pastel blue with sparkling white, face showing blue and white. Very sweet personality.

Strong rounded scull with neatly placed ears, short broad nose good break, cheeks well developed and firm chin, eyes very good shape with stunning deep colour. Overall good body shape and condition, strong bone, balanced tail. Coat very well presented, richly coloured with even black tipping.

1ST. CC . MORRIS’S COUNTRYGIRL GRAPEVINE. 160408.

A lovely young boy. Strong well developed head with open type, rounded scull, neatly placed ears, short broad nose good break, cheeks well developed, firm chin and perfect bite, eyes large and expressive with strong colour. Cobby body, short strong legs, large rounded paws and balanced tail Coat beautifully presented, soft texture, sound richly coloured coat. An impressive young man.

BOB MORRIS’S CH COUNTRYGIRL CHERRYBLOSSOM. 160408.

Litter sister to my boy above, just having the edge over him for BOB. Very similar in type, lovely strong head, neat ears, full cheeks and broad short nose good break and large nostrils, strong rounded muzzle firm chin with bite. Cobby body strong bone and balanced tail. Very good coat texture and presentation, richly coloured, very slight ghost markings. Impressive pair of youngsters.

1ST. CC W/H. PIASECKL’S COUNTRYGIRL GOLDILOCKS. 260608.

A very young girl still needing time to fully mature. Head quite small at present, strong scull with neatly placed ears, short broad nose with accentuated break, nostrils very small, not showing her eyes off to the their best reluctant to completely open them. Cobby body, strong bone and balanced tail, overall very condition. Very good coat texture and presentation, richly coloured, showing some ghost markings.

A very young girl showing good body development and condition. Broad top of head with untidy scull, neatly placed ears, very deep set eyes, nose far too tiny with tiny nostrils, very undershot jaw. Cobby body, balanced tail. Coat very well presented, showing blue and cream with good intermingling. This young girl has the sweetest of nature, having spoken to the Breeder, perhaps neutering will be considered due to her defects.

A mature boy in superb condition. Strong broad head, rounded scull neatly placed ears, short broad nose good break, well developed cheeks, large expressive eyes of good colour, strong chin and full muzzle with broad and powerful jaws, short thick neck. Cobby body, short strong legs and balanced tail. Coat lustrous dense jet black coat, sound and even, plush and soft texture, lovely presentation. An impressive boy, he was a little tense and nervous today.

A very attractive young girl, just a little adolescent. Broad scull a little untidy, neatly placed ears, cheeks developing, short broad nose good break, strong muzzle and firm chin, teeth a little untidy, eyes very good shape and expression showing strong colour. Cobby body, short strong legs and balanced tail, well grown in good condition. Coat fairly plush just a little course texture, sparkling white, very impressed by her whiskers !!!!

1ST. BOB. PIASECKI’S PURRSRUS TE AMO. 231208.

Overall nicely balanced head, strong rounded scull, ears neatly placed a little open at the base at present, short broad nose good break, cheeks developing, eyes a lovely shape and colour very well developed for such a young kitten, firm jaw with good bite. Cobby body, short legs and balanced tail, very good condition. Coat a little disappointing, just needs more attention and would like to see a cleaner face, pleasing blue colour.

Broad top of head with neatly placed ears, rather a lumpy scull which I hope improves with full development, cheeks well developed, eyes very good shape and colour, short broad nose good break and large nostrils, muzzle round and a firm chin. Cobby body, short fat legs and balanced tail, lovely condition. Coat beautifully presented, soft texture, face showing blue and white, body with pastel blue patches and sparkling white, coloured tail. A lovely kitten.

A youngster showing very good maturity. Strong rounded scull with neatly placed ears, well developed cheeks short broad nose good break, muzzle strong and broad, eyes a little deep set very good strong colour. Cobby body, short strong legs and balanced tail. Coat very well presented, slightly course texture, face showing black and white, with black tail, sparkling white and jet black. Such an attractive girl and a very sweet personality.

NORWEGIAN FOREST ADULT MALE.

A youngster showing excellent maturity for his age. Triangular head with all sides’ equal, long straight profile without a break in line, forehead slightly rounded, strong chin, ears large with good width at base, ear placement high and open set, eyes large and expressive. Very good conformation and condition, substantial bone, long balanced tail. Coat fairly well presented, pity about behind the ears !!!!

2ND.LIVINGSTON’S NORMYSTIC LORD ASH. 67 31dts. 120408.

Another youngster showing good type. Triangular head with long straight profile, forehead slightly rounded, strong chin, very good ear set and size, eyes a little deep set and would like them larger. Well developed body, good bone and balanced tail. Coat needs far more attention.

NORWEGIAN FOREST ADULT FEMALE.

BOB LIVINGSTON’S CH TUYET VINA VIENNA. 67 31t. 210805.

Triangular head with long straight profile, forehead slightly rounded, firm chin, ears large with good placement, eyes a very good shape and set with lovely expression. Good conformation, strong bone and balanced tail, just a little “plump”. Very good coot texture, well presented.

1ST.CC FORBES WEESAMS TIBBY. 67 31t. 060308.

Triangular head with straight profile, forehead slightly rounded, fairly firm chin, ears large with good width at base, placed high on scull, very expressive eyes large and well opened. Conformation good strongly built, quite good bone, balanced tail. Coat good texture and well presnseted.

SIBERIAN NEUTER ASSESSMENT.

NO MERIT.WILSON’S CATREBA NAGLAYA. 82 40 11. FN. 310605.

Sadly I was unable to handle this girl, she was so frightened. Very disappointing as looking at her in the pen, she appeared to have very nice type, and her coat looked very good.

SINGAPURA ADULT FEMALE.

BOB. MINTO’S GR.CH. SINGINGPURRS HELED0. 041001

A mature girl in lovely condition. Scull rounded with rounded width at outer eye narrowing to a definite whisker break and a medium short broad muzzle with a blunt nose, in profile a slight stop just below eye level, chin well developed. Ears large wide at base and deep cupped, lovely expressive eyes large and well opened, well defined dark line to the eyes, showing very good colour. Body of medium size in lovely condition, legs muscled at the body, tapering to small oval feet, balanced tail. Coat very good texture and presentation, short fine and close lying, body colour old ivory with a soft warm effect, clearly defined bands of sepia ticking, showing some barring on inner front legs and back knees, clearly defined “Cheetah” lines, nose mid salmon coloured, with dark outline to the nose. Very sweet temperament.

1ST. CC. MINTO’S PEEDIEPURRS TANISH. 121107.

A very impressive youngster, overall very good head shape, scull rounded narrowing to a definite whisker break, medium short broad muzzle with a blunt nose and showing a slight stop just below eye level, chin well developed. Large ears wide open at base and deep cupped, eyes large and held wide open, showing dark outline, well developed eye colour. A very nicely shaped feminine body, legs fairly well muscled and tapering to small oval feet, balanced tail. Lovely coat texture and presentation, short fine and silky, old ivory colour with soft warm effect, showing bands of sepia ticking, some barring on inner front legs and back knees, clearly defined facial markings. Enjoying her day out.
