ORIENTAL CAT ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

20th June, 2009.

My thanks to Jane (Francis Wilson) and Irene (Rothwell) for the invitation to judge which I really enjoyed. I also thank Sylvia (Smith) who stepped in to steward for me – thank you Sylvia for your very enjoyable company and for your expertise and gentleness in handling all the exhibits.

ORIENTAL BLACK MALE ADULT

CC BOB SHAWLEY/WILSON’S SHADOWSQUAD LUCIFERSLEGACY 1yr.3mnths.

Handsome boy with medium well balanced head, straight profile, good chin and top of head. Large ears well set. Eyes good shape and of a good green in colour. Long muscular body, long fine legs, neat paws, good tail. Coat of very good texture, dense and shiny – odd white hair on shoulder. Wonderful temperament, beautifully presented.

ORIENTAL BLACK FEMALE ADULT.

CC PRTRIDGE’S NUTROSTAR MIA 1yr.

Fine boned girl with medium well balanced head, good profile and chin, good top of head. Large well set ears. Eyes good shape, green in colour. Medium length firm body, dainty legs and paws, long tail. Coat dense and shiny – odd white hair. Lovely temperament, beautifully presented.

ORIENTAL LILAC MALE NEUTER.

PC BOB LORD’S IMP.GR.PR.TENAJ PINK PANTHER 3yrs8mnths.

Huge well grown and well nourished boy with strong head and profile, very good top, good chin. Large ears of good set. Eyes good shape and colour. Good length firm body, long firm legs and paws. Good tail. Coat of very good texture and colour. A joy to judge and handle – beautifully presented.

1.PARTRIDGE’S NUTROSTAR BLUE VELVET 37a F 1yr.

Fine boned girl of good balance, a touch nervous today. Medium well balanced head, good profile and top of head, good chin. Large ears of good set. Eyes a touch full, colour good. Medium length firm body, dainty legs and paws, long tail. Coat of good texture and colour. Beautifully presented.

Handsome and well grown boy with strong head, good chin and top of head, good profile. Large ears well set. Eyes of very good shape, set and colour. Long firm body, long fine legs, neat paws. Long tail to balance. Coat of very good texture and colour – faint tabby markings evident. A joy to judge and handle – beautifully presented.

1.MARSTON’S DENSON SUZETTE 29 F 17wks.

Dainty baby with medium well balanced head, good chin and top of head, good profile. Large well set ears. Eyes good shape and colour. Medium length firm body, dainty legs and paws, good tail. Coat texture and colour good, but lots of scattered white hairs evident at present. Delightful temperament, beautifully presented.

1.SMITH’S LORICHA SCARMOUCHE 48 40t m 7mnths 3wks.

Boy of super type – well grown with strong head and profile, good chin and very good top of head. Large well set ears. Eyes of very good shape, set and colour. Good length firm body, long fine legs neat paws, good tail. Coat showing beautiful markings distinct from white area. My doubts were about his breed number which may well have to be changed, but time will tell as he is still only a kitten. Lovely temperament, beautifully presented.

2.LYNCH’S FIROUSI FANCY THAT 48 40b M 4mnths 1wk.

Kitten of very good type with strong head, good profile and chin, good top of head. Large ears well set. Eyes of very good shape and colour. Medium length firm body, fine legs neat paws, long tail. Coat of excellent texture. . Coloured areas of good chocolate, markings on mask dark chocolate, body areas of good tone. Lovely temperament, beautifully presented.

A.V.FEMALE KITTEN

1.WILDON’S SUNJADE SILKMOTH 45k 8mnths.

Very stylish girl with strong head and profile, good chin and very good top of head. Large well set ears. Eyes oriental and of very good colour. Long firm body, dainty legs and paws, long tail to balance. Coat of very good texture and super colour which very good ticking evident. Delightful girl – beautifully presented.

1.HOLDER’S MYLYNN MAGNIFIQUE 62 18 MN 9mnths 2wks.

Super boy of excellent type and colour, beautiful markings. Strong head and profile, excellent top, good chin. Large ears well set. Eyes oriental colour very good. Good length well nourished body, firm legs and paws, excellent plume. Coat of very good texture, silky and flowing. Delightful boy – beautifully presented.

2.GODDARD’S MYLYNN SWEET PEA 62 43s FN 9mnths 2wks.

Very stylish girl with strong wedge, good top and profile, fair chin, bite level. Ears of good size and set. Eyes good shape and colour. Good length firm body, firm legs and paws, good plume. Coat of good texture, silky and flowing showing good shading. Lovely temperament, beautifully presented.

3.BAXTER’S SOLARUS ALL THAT JAZZ 37y FN 1yr.2mnths.

Older girl with lovely condition with medium well balanced head, good top of head and chin. Ears of good size and let. Eyes good shape and colour. Medium length well nourished body, fine legs, dainty paws. Good tail. Coat dark in tone, showing scattered white hairs and a touch of dandruff. Delightful lady.

Very typy boy with strong head and profile, very good top and good chin. Large ears well set. Eyes oriental and of very good colour. Long firm body, long fine legs, neat paws, long tail to balance. Coat of excellent texture, dense and shiny. Super temperament, beautifully presented.

2.WHEATLEY’S GR.PR.YELOPERYL THE LEGEND 37d MN 3yrs.8mnth.

Well grown boy of good type and balance. Strong head and profile, good chin, bite a touch untidy. Large ears well set. Eyes very good shape and colour. Long firm body, long fine legs, neat paws. Long tail. Coat of excellent texture, rich in colour. Tabby markings evident. Again super temperament and beautifully presented.
