Example One: XXXX the Kitten attends the XXXX Show and gains the 1st in her open, the BOB and goes on to be awarded BOV Persian Kitten and Overall Persian.

Open 1st: 20 Points

BOB: 20 Points

Overall BOV: 40 Points

The Total Points that can be claimed are 80 Points.

Although the kitten was BOV Persian Kitten AND Overall BOV - only the points of the top BIS win can be claimed.

Example Two: XXXX the Grand Premier attends the XXXXX Show and gains the BOB, the Reserve Imperial and the Grand.

BOB: 20 Points

Grand PC: 0 Points

Imperial Reserve: 30 Points

The Total Points Claimed are 50 Points.

Although the Cat was awarded the Grand Premier Certificate, the points for this cannot be claimed for because the cat is already a Grand and can only claim points for Imperials.

Example Three: XXXX the Non Titled Adult attends the XXXX Show and is awarded the 3rd in the open.

Open 3rd: 5 Points

Total Points Claimed: 5 Points

Example Four: XXXX the Assessment Exhibit attends the XXXXX Show and gains a Merit and goes on to win BIS Assessment Exhibit.

Merit: 40 Points

BIS Assessment: 40 Points

The Total Points Claimed are 80 Points

Example Five: XXXX The Imperial Grand Champion attends the XXXXX Show and gains a 1st CC, BOB and Imp GR.

1st CC - 0 Points

BOB: 20 Points

Imp Gr: 40 Points

The Total Points claimed are 60 Points

Although the cat is already an Imperial, they are still allowed to claim for Imp Gr Certificates, this is teh only exception to the rule. This cat would not be allowed to claim points for the Open CC.

Example Six: XXXX A Premier Titled Cat attends the XXXXX Show and is awarded a 2nd in the open and a Reserve Gr Pr.

Reserve Gr Pr: 20 Points

Total Points claimed are 20 Points

Example Seven: XXXX a Gr Pr attends the XXXX Show and is awarded a BOB and the Imperial Gr Pr, he was awarded BOV Neuter and Best Overall Oriental

BOB: 20 Points

Imp Gr Pr: 40 Points

BOV Neuter: 0 Points

Overall BOV: 40 Points

Total Points Claimed are 100 Points

Although the cat was awarded BOV Neuter aswell as Overall BOV, you only claim the higher award, which was the Overall BOV at 40 Points.

Open Classes

Awarded IC, CC or PC 1st in Kitten Class/Non Pedigree = 20 Points

W/h CC/PC/IC - 15 Points
2nd Place = 10 Points
3rd Place = 5 Points

(if your cat is already a Ch or Pr - no claim allowed)

Merit = 40 Points

Grand Class

Awarded a GCC or GPC = 30 Points
Reserve GCC or Reserve GPC = 20 Points

W/H = 15 Points
(If your cat is already a Gr Ch or Gr Pr - no claim allowed)

Imperial Class

Awarded Imp Gr CC or Imp Gr PC = 40 Points
Reserve IGC or Reserve IGP = 30 Points

W/H = 15 Points

Points can only be claimed for one Imp or Gr class per show.

Best of Breed Award = 20 Points
Best of Variety A, K, N = 30 Points
Overall BOV = 40 Points
Overall Best in Show (if applicable) = 50 Points
