General Rules
The Royal Canin Top Exhibit Competition is open to any GCCF Registered Adult, Kitten or Neutered Cat and Non Pedigree Cat shown at GCCF Licenced Shows.
The Royal Canin Top Breeder Competition is open to any Adult, Kitten or Neutered Cat carrying your Prefix that is shown at a GCCF licensed show, breeders are able to enter more than one section and do not have to exhibit at the same show as the cats they have bred to claim their points.
Kittens, which become Adult or Neuter during the competition continue to accrue points throughout the duration of the competition, as do Adults that are neutered.
Breeders and Exhibitors must join the Competition to be able to claim points – Details of joining the competition can be found on www.catplanet.co.uk or from the Royal Canin stand at shows across the country.
A 2kg Bag of Cat Food is available to all entries to the Breeder and Exhibit Competition - One Bag available per household following confirmed receipt of first points entry.
The 2009/2010 Competition is open from 12 noon 1st June 2009 to 12 noon 31st May 2010.
Points must be claimed calendar monthly by the 14th of the following month through the online forms at www.catplanet.co.uk or on hard copy forms by request from the Royal Canin stand at shows around the Country.
No late entries or backdated points are accepted, however you may join the competition at any time throughout the show calendar year.
Monthly league tables will be published on the LAST DAY of the month following the competition month to enable results to be checked and verified.
In the event of a tie break at Position ONE of the Monthly league tables and/or the Overall Exhibit/Breeder at the end of the year, the entrant achieving the MOST points at the LEAST shows will be deemed the winner.
Mistakes made by an entrant to their detriment will not be corrected after the monthly closing date, mistakes made by the entrant resulting in a benefit to position will incur a 'strike' - 3 strikes received will result in disqualification from the competition.

Open Classes
Awarded IC, CC or PC 1st in Kitten Class/Non Pedigree = 20 Points
W/H CC, PC, IC = 15 Points
2nd Place = 10 Points
3rd Place = 5 Points
(if your cat is already a Ch or Pr - no claim allowed)
Merit = 40 Points
Grand Class
Awarded a GCC or GPC = 30 Points
Reserve GCC or Reserve GRC = 20 Points
W/H Gr or Res = 15 Points
(If your cat is already a Gr Ch or Gr Pr - no claim allowed)
Imperial Class
Awarded Imp Gr CC or Imp Gr PC = 40 Points
Reserve IGC or Reserve IGP = 30 Points
W/H Imp or Res = 15 Points
Points can only be claimed for one Imp or Gr class per show.
Best of Breed Award = 20 Points
Best of Breed can be claimed by all entrants
Best of Variety A, K, N = 30 Points
Overall BOV = 40 Points
Overall Best in Show (if applicable) = 50 Points

General Terms and Conditions
The Promoter (“Promoter”) of this competition is Royal Canin.
There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
The winner(s) may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
The Promoter’s decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Prizes can only be sent to a valid UK address unless otherwise stated.
Unless otherwise stated, the competition is open to all GCCF Registered Breeders or Exhibitors who are residents of the UK and ROI aged 18 or over, except employees of the Promoter and their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their families, agents, or anyone connected with this competition, including the third party promotional partners.
The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions, in the event they are unable to do so then the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
An eligible entrant must be an individual and must submit an entry in the form provided by the Promoter under this promotion including their name, address and e-mail address.
By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by each and all these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any amendments will be published on the websites of the Promoter.
By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by the Promoter or any associated or subsidiary company of the promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to publish all or parts of entries, and publication does not necessarily mean that the entrant has won a prize. The Promoter reserves the right to edit entries in its discretion for publication. Entrants will retain copyright in their submitted entries; however, by entering, all entrants give the Promoter a worldwide royalty free perpetual license to edit, publish and use all or segments of each entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes. In particular, all entrants license the Promoter the right to print their entry on the Promoter’s website and in print.
Uses of personal data received by the Promoter in the course of the promotion are subject to the privacy policy found on the Promoter’s website. Winners' names may be published on the Promoters website.
Completion and submission of an entry form will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in their sole discretion, a competition is not capable for being conducted as specified. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.
