GCCF Supreme Cat Show – 22nd November 2008 Mrs Lynne Studer

First of all I would like to thank my very capable team of stewards on a very busy day, Mrs Barbara Gould, Peter Bearman and Caroline Moss, also thanks to Mavis and her excellent team on helping everything run smoothly. We had an Excellent entry and some Superb Cats!

CHOCOLATE POINT PRE-CHAMPION FEMALE

1st CC - Mrs P Shand’s Palmira Sulaweisi, 24b, Female, 15.02.08

Stylish Young lady who I deliberated over whether to award the CC to as she was still kittenish, but she was only 9 months. Good length wedge with small pinch, broad topline with large open based well placed ears. Bright blue straight set eyes. Firm chin, level bite, straight profile, thin neck, lithe body with dainty legs and paws. Slightly thick-ish tail with a small pip at the tip. Darkish chocolate with warm tone (I wouldn’t want it to get any darker) points colour, mask incomplete at present, ivory short close clear coat. Elegant young lady with a super temperament.

LILAC POINT PRE CHAMPION MALE

1st CC - Mrs D Williams Pollybee Lord Roysterer, 24c, Male, 27.12.07

Strong big boy and not a year old yet, strong head. large wide at the base ears which are set well. Oval bright blue eyes. Thick neck, almost straight profile, level bite. chin ebbs, thick neck, large muscular body, sturdy legs and paws with tapering tail to balance. Very pale pinky grey lilac points colour, no colour on the tail as yet but he is still a young boy, sleek magnolia magnificent coat fits like a glove. Shy boy with a gentle temperament.

1st GRAND & BOB - Mrs P Owen’s Ch Roysterer Snow-Dandy, 24c, Male, 08.09.06

Masculine Handsome lad, strong large wedge broad topline very big open based well placed ears. Oriental shape and set sparkling blue eyes. Straight profile, strong chin, level bite, sturdy legs, oval paws with a tapering tail to balance. Fabulous pale pinky grey lilac points colour with a pristine short close magnolia coat. A lovely lilac boy looking good today, presented as always to perfection.

2nd Mr S Morgan’s - Ch ASTRALBLAESE PEGASUS, 24C, Male, 28.05.06

Mature boy with average type, medium length wedge with small pinch, good size ears requiring a touch more width between. (I would prefer the ears to be larger) Dip in profile, untidy bite, chin okay, fine legs with oval paws, slightly thick tail to balance. Mid lilac points colour, paler on legs and paws, short magnolia coat with light shading on flanks. Excellent temperament and presented well.

1st Grand - Mrs G J Watson’s CH MALIKASIAM SHAKIRA ATHALJ, 24C, Female, 22.05.06

Mature girl with overall good type. Long wedge with pinch, large well placed ears, oval deep blue eyes, profile raised between eyes, few teeth missing, chin okay, elegant neck, long well toned body elegant legs with neat paws, slightly thick tail that needs an inch to balance. Slightly blue tone lilac points colour, paler on legs and paws, magnolia soft coat lightly shaded on flanks. Very relaxed and easy to handle. Shown in Tip Top Condition.

CARAMEL POINT CHAMPION MALE

1st GR Withheld - Mr S Morgan’s CH ASTRALBLAESE PERSESEUS, 24n, Male, 28.05.06

Unbalanced Mature boy, long wedge with pinch, good size ears that he tends to bonnet, they also require more width between. Deep blue oriental eyes, straight profile, level bite, firm chin, long neck, long rangy body, tall legs, oval paws, tapering long tail. Mid brownish grey points colour with a metallic sheen, magnolia short coat with light tonal shading. Perfect Temperament and Condition.

UK GRAND & BOB - Mrs G Baughan’s GR CH MAPU PEPPIE, 24n, Male, 22.04.01

Very handsome chap and one of my favourites as ‘Brucie’ would say! Balanced wedge, broad topline with huge open based, well set ears in line with the wedge. Oriental expressive bright blue eyes, straight profile, level bite, weak chin, elegant neck, long well toned body, tall legs oval paws with long tapering tail to balance. Pale brownish grey points colour, short close magnolia coat with light tonal shading. Looking Fabulous for Seven Years old and an entire male, he is a credit to his Owner. Shown in pristine condition with a super temperament.

Elegant Mature lady, strong head, large open based ears placed well, eyes held slightly open of brilliant blue. Straight profile, level bite, firm chin, slender neck, svelte body. dainty legs and paws with a tapering long tail. Good brownish grey points colour with a metallic sheen, clear soft magnolia coat. Delightful temperament and excellent condition.

UK GRAND - Mrs G Baughan’s GR CH MAPU FORGETMENOT, 24n, Female, 10.04.07

Stylish, balanced, neat and elegant young lady. Short strong head, big wide at the base ears with excellent width and flare. Expressive almond shape and brilliant blue eyes. Straight profile, level bite, firm chin, slender neck, long well toned body, dainty legs and paws with tapering tail to balance. Very pale, brownish grey matching caramel points colour, paler on legs and paws with off white clear short close coat with not a hair out of place. Relaxed and easy to handle and shown in pristine condition.

FAWN POINT ADULT MALE

1ST IC - Mrs G Hudson’s FIORDILISO VALENTINO, 24n, Male, 29.12.07

Balanced, typey fawn point of excellent overall type. Good long wedge with small pinch. Large well set ears. Oriental shape and set sparkling blue eyes. Profile straight, level bite, firm chin, strong neck, long muscular body, sturdy tall legs, large paws with a slightly thick tail to balance. Superb pale fawn points colour with a sleek off white coat that fits like a glove. Relaxed chap shown in wonderful condition.

APRICOT SIAMESE MALE

1ST CC W/H – Mr J & Mrs P Turner’s Applejack Summerheat, 32fn, Male, 27.02.07

Young Male that was very underweight. Immature and lacked muscle tone, shortish wedge that was fine on the muzzle. Good size ears requiring more width at the base and between. Cornflower blue oriental eyes, straight profile, teeth missing, chin okay, elegant neck, long lithe body with backbone showing, sinks in at the flanks with fine legs and oval paws. Tapering tail to balance. Pale apricot colour and a lot paler on legs and paws with a slightly long creamy coat fluffing out today. Hopefully he will sort out his weight problem.

TABBY POINT SIAMESE KITTEN MALE

A very strong class of typey tabby kittens!

1ST BOB Mr S Musson’s MAFDET MCTABBY, 32 1, Male, 11.05.08

Well this is one FAB-U-LOUS Kitten who I am glad to say went all the way and became Best Siamese Kitten. Strong lion like head, broad topline with huge open based low set ears. Expressive vivid blue oval eyes, roman profile, level bite, firm chin, elegant neck that he uses to his full advantage. Long, well-nourished body, fine legs, oval paws with a long tapering ¾ ringed tail with a dorsal line. Well-defined seal brown seal tabby markings, clear scarab, ribbons, leg and arm bracelets, beige short, close coat. Laid back and just loved all of the attention and was really talkative today. Shown and presented perfectly and is a credit to his own (Cryptorchid Kitten that will make a superb show neuter)

2nd Mrs D E Jakeman’s SHERMESE THELONIOUS, 32 2, Male, 16.05.08

Blue tabby kitten very unlucky to meet the winner today. Stylish well developed kitten of good overall type. Long wedge with pinch, big well-placed open based low set ears with excellent width and flare. Oriental bright blue eyes requiring more depth of colour, graceful neck, and long firm well covered body, tall legs and neat paws. Long tapering ½ ringed tail, good blue tabby markings, faint on arms and legs. Short close glacial white coat with light tonal shading. Laid back, relaxed and show in Tip Top condition!

3rd Mrs J Pound’s BARBECCO NIELLO, 32/1, Male, 22.03.08

Well-grown boy of good overall type. Long wedge with small pinch. Large tufted ears which I would like a touch more width between. Lovely expressive deep blue almond shaped eyes, which are set well. Straight profile, level bite, firm chin, elegant neck. Long well toned body, sturdy legs and paws with a tapering tail with excellent rings requiring an inch to balance and also with a terminal tail fault. Superb seal brown tabby markings, clear scarab, double ribbons, striking arm and leg bracelets. Looking just like a tiger cub today. Sleek lightly shaded coat and in Tip Top Condition.

TABBY POINT KITTEN FEMALE

1ST Mrs D Patton’s MAFDET HONEY TRAP, 32/1, Female, 11.05.08

Well grown stylish kitten with a short wedge with a tiny pinch. Large open based well-placed ears, small dip in profile. Level bite, form chin. Two black lines on her nose looking like they could be birthmarks. Brilliant blue oriental eyes held fractionally open until relaxed. Slender neck, long body, dainty legs and paws. Tapering ½ ringed tail, warm seal brown faint tabby markings, soft short clear beige coat. Talkative baby with a confident temperament that was beautifully shown and presented.

2ND Mrs C Simpson’s SHERMESE YESTERDAYS DREAMS, 32/1, Female, 16.05.08

Another lovely girl but just a little small for her age. Longish wedge, fine on the muzzle, broad topline with very large flyaway, open based, low set ears. Bump on the back of her head, uneven profile, level bite, chin okay. Vivid blue eyes just slightly open, thin neck, svelte body, dainty legs and paws. Tapering ½ ringed tail, very dark seal points, clear tabby markings, well-defined scarab, double ribbons, clear leg and arm bracelets. Clear slightly white coat of excellent texture. Delightful temperament and in pristine condition.

3rd Mrs D Richards DEBIKAT GRACIE-MAE, 32 1, Female, 24.04.08

Nothing exaggerated about this well developed, balanced kitten. Good length wedge with small pinch. large well set ears, deep set mid blue eyes, profile raised between eyes, bite slightly undershot. Firm chin, elegant neck, long well covered body, fine legs and oval paws. Tapering tail a 1/3 ringed some incomplete, dense seal brown tabby markings, superb thumbprints, single ribbons, faint leg and arm bracelets, and short soft coat with light tonal shading. Alert, confident baby show and presented well.

Mr A Brash’s RIVANESS MIZPRISSY, 32 2, Female, 10.03.08

Almost adult, she looks better out of the pen. Long wedge narrows towards the muzzle, good size ears, set well (I would ideally prefer them to be bigger), eyes rather full of bright blue. Straight profile, level bite, form chin, long well covered body. Elegant legs and oval paws. Ringed to the tip tapering tail but could do with an inch to balance. Good blue tabby markings, clean scarab, double ribbons, faint leg and arm bracelets, and glacial white clear soft short coat. Superb temperament and excellent condition.
