Asian Grand Premier, Male:Three lovely boys entered.
UKGPC & BOB. CLARK’S GR CH & IMP GR PR CHINKARA JET BLACK. Bombay. 3/5/02.Very handsome boy, mature and well balanced and showing very good type – a lovely example of the Asian breed. Slender body is firm, muscular and heavy with straight back, gently rounded chest and slender well shaped legs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head forms super short wide wedge, blunt in the muzzle, with very slightly rounded tip between well spaced medium large broad based ears of good shape. Lovely large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical Burmese expression. Very gentle curve to brow, very good break, short straight nose and level chin of quite good depth. Beautiful fine close-lying coat has a smooth satin-line texture and rich glossy shine giving true “patent leather“ appearance desired in a Bombay. As his name suggests colour is a dense jet black, even in tone with good colour to the roots. Tail tapers evenly to “paintbrush” tip and almost balances. A delightful boy, as ever, calm, very friendly and full of purrs – a great ambassador for the Asian breed, who went on to win Best Foreign Neuter and well deserved.
2 & BOB. PLAW’S IMP GR PR RAINSONG STEVIE GERRARRD. Red Ticked Tabby. 28/6/05.Handsome mature boy, well balanced and nicely finished, he showed himself to advantage today. Slender well filled body is of very good weight and substance, feeling firm and muscular with straight back, gently rounded chest and slender well shaped legs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge with slightly rounded top between well spaced medium size ears, broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous rich golden yellow eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Very slight curve to brow, good break, chin is just level and of reasonably good depth. Close-lying coat of medium length is fine and satiny in texture, in superb condition with a glossy shine. Pattern of defined ticking in rich bright medium tangerine is evenly distributed over a pale warm tangerine base; faint marks on limbs and well broken necklace, attractive facial markings. Tail is of good shape, tapering evenly to “paintbrush” tip, and is a fraction short to balance. An alert and talkative boy, very good natured.
3 & BOB. DOCHERTY’S GR PR LOHR STEELERS WHEEL. Blue Shaded Silver with BCR. 7/6/07.Mature handsome boy, calm and very relaxed and showing good overall type. Long slender body is balanced, feeling firm, heavy and muscular with level back, gently rounded chest and slender shapely legs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge with very slightly rounded top between well spaced medium large ears of good shape. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Brow is a touch flat and heavily boned over the eyes, very good break, straight nose, chin is just level and of fairly good depth. Fine coat of medium length is very close-lying and is smooth and satin-like in texture, in super condition with a glossy shine. Subtle mantle of quite heavy shading in warm soft medium blue grey over a warm pale mushroom ground, a noticeable amount of ticking in among the shaded hairs; multiple narrow bars on legs and well broken necklace, very attractive facial markings. Tail is of good shape, tapering to finer rounded tip and just balances. A very contented, good natured boy, who showed himself well.

Slender balanced body is of very good weight, feeling firm and well muscled with straight back, correctly rounded chest and slender elegant well shaped limbs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head forms short wide wedge, quite blunt in the muzzle, with slightly rounded top and well spaced medium size ears, broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous pale chartreuse yellow eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Very slight curve to brow, very good break, short straight nose and level chin of fairly good depth. Close-lying coat of medium length is fine and satiny in texture, in superb condition with a gleaming shine. Pattern of defined pale milk chocolate ticking is evenly distributed over a very pale beige ground, warm rich tone to colour. Clear on legs and chest, very attractive facial markings. Tail is just a fraction thick overall and slightly short to balance. A very sweet natured girl, who showed well and was a pleasure to handle.

GPC. KEMP’S PR NATZKATZ IRISH-CREAM. Caramel Shaded Silver with BCR. 16/5/07.Very handsome young man, looking mature, well balanced and of good overall type. Slender compact body is of very good weight and substance, feeling firm and muscular with gently rounded chest, level back, and slender well shaped legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge with slightly rounded top between well spaced medium large broad based ears of good shape. Lustrous large yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give super Burmese expression. Very gentle curve to brow, very good break, short straight nose and level chin of fairly good depth. Coat is of medium length, close lying and of satiny texture and in lovely condition with a gleaming shine. Mantle of cool medium caramel shading is evenly distributed and contrasts against a sparkling silver ground, some ticked hairs evident among the shaded; smudged marks on legs and well broken necklace, very attractive facial markings. Tail is of good shape, but is short to balance. Very good natured and friendly boy, very easy to handle.

GPC. ERGIS’ PR RUXHILL SUMERJIZ MADONNA. Chocolate Shaded Silver with BCR. 24/9/06.Mature attractive lady, who is nicely balanced and of good overall type. Compact slender body is firm and well muscled, of very good weight and substance with straight back, gently rounded chest and slender well shaped limbs ending in neat oval feet in proportion. Head forms short wide wedge with slightly rounded top between well spaced medium large ears, are broad at the base and of good shape. Lustrous large palish yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Very gentle curve to brow, good break, short straight nose, level chin is of fairly good depth. Fine close-lying coat has a lovely smooth satin-like texture and is in superb condition displaying a glossy shine. Mantle of light to medium shading in rich dark milk chocolate is evenly distributed over a sparkling silver ground; almost clear of marks, just a faint smudge on each knee; very attractive facial markings. Tail is of good shape tapering evenly to rounded tip and is a little short to balance. Calm, relaxed and very sweet natured.

Brown Tortie Ticked Tabby. 10/4/07.A very lithe body is of very good weight, feeling firm and well muscled with level back, correctly rounded chest and slender elegant shapely limbs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge with slightly rounded top and well spaced medium large broad based ears of good shape. Large lustrous palish yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical “Burmese” expression. Very gentle curve to brow, very good break, short straight nose and level chin of fairly good depth. Fine close-lying coat is of medium length, good satiny texture overall, just a touch dry on the lower back; in super condition with a gleaming shine. Beautiful even pattern of ticking in warm rich sable brown with small areas of rich warm tangerine intermingled lies over a base of warm pale beige mingled with warm very pale tangerine, two bands of ticking visible; a few faint bars on legs and very attractive facial markings. Tail is of good shape and is just short to balance. Good natured girl, very talkative and showed herself to advantage.
2. MOSS’S PR DYNTEYRYN VOGUE VERSACE. Black Silver Ticked Tabby. 23/8/06.Attractive girl, mature and of very pleasing type. Slender balanced body is of very good weight, feeling firm and well muscled with gently rounded chest and slender well shaped legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Short wide wedge-shaped head has slightly rounded top and well spaced medium size ears of good shape. Large lustrous slightly greenish yellow eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give pleasing expression. Very slight curve to brow, very good break, tiny bump on nose, chin is level but needs a faction more depth. Close-lying coat is fine and satiny in texture, just a touch long overall; in super condition with a glossy shine. Pattern of jet black ticking is evenly distributed over a sparkling silver base, two bands of ticking clearly visible; faint marks on legs and well broken necklace, attractive markings on face. Tail is of good shape and is just a touch short to balance. Calm, very relaxed and sweet natured.

1PC. HERD’S INQUIZICATZ BLUE MARBEL. Blue Tortie. 1/11/06.Very mature looking a rather majestic girl of good overall type, strong and well balanced. Slender well filled body is of very good weight and substance, feeling firm and muscular with straight back, gently rounded chest and slender shapely legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head forms short wide wedge with very gently rounded top between well spaced medium large ears are broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Slight rounded brow is a little heavily boned over the eyes, very good break, short straight nose and level firm chin of quite good depth. Medium length close lying coat is fine with a smooth silky texture, in lovely condition with a glossy shine. Medium blue grey is mixed with cool-toned medium cream. Tail tapers evenly to “paintbrush” tip and almost balances. A very hissy girl and not totally happy today, however very tolerant of being handled and basically good natured.

GPC & BOB. TAYLOR’S PR MYMYSTIC PHAROAHS GOLD. Brown Tabby. 4/2/07.Handsome elegant lad, mature and nicely balanced; not in the best of moods today however. Long slender body is firm, muscular and of very good weight, straight back, gently rounded chest and slender elegant limbs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head forms balanced medium wedge with good width to cheeks and good breadth to gently rounded muzzle with defined whisker break. Medium large broad based ears are of very good shape and spaced well apart. Large expressive rounded almonds shaped eyes are set wide apart, colour is pale greenish blue. Very gentle curve to brow, gentle break and level chin of fairly good depth. Good texture to close lying coat of medium length, fine and silky and in super condition with a gleaming shine. Defined ticked pattern in rich warm medium brown over warm pale beige ground, multiple narrow bars on legs and broken rings on tail, ghost bars on sides and flanks; well defined facial markings with clear “M” and scarab. Tail is of good shape tapering to finer rounded tip; length is a fraction short to balance. Rather grumpy today and swore soundly, but not too difficult to handle.

GPC & BOB. HAINES’ PR VALISA APRIL WISPURR. 24/4/04.Mature and very attractive girl of good overall type. Compact slender body is well balanced and of very good weight and substance, feeling firm and well muscled with gently rounded chest and elegant slender well shaped limbs ending in dainty oval paws in proportion. Head shows rounded skull with very good width to cheeks and short blunt nose. Medium size ears are broad at the base, cupped and held correctly just wide of parallel; I would have liked them a little large for perfection. Lovely large luminous hazel yellow eyes are held well open, of very good shape and set wide apart and at a slight to give typically alert expression. Very gentle curve to brow, slight stop, short nose with the merest hint of a tiny bump, chin is level and of fairly good depth. Fine close-lying coat is of medium length and smooth silky texture, in superb condition with a glossy shine. Very well defined pattern of ticking in rich slightly sepia toned brown lies over a warm old ivory ground, showing a few narrow inner leg bars and smudged marks on knees, good facial markings, with defined “M”, skullcap and “Cheetah” lines on cheeks. Tail tapers evenly to blunt tip and almost balances. A lively, alert and very sweet natured girl.

1PC. BROOKS & BROOKS’ CH VALISA JANAMEL PANDORA. 6/5/05.Very pretty young lady of good overall type, but not looking quite as mature as her age would indicate. Slender slightly long body is of very good weight, feeling firm and well muscled with gently rounded chest and elegant well shaped limbs and dainty oval paws in proportion. Head shows rounded skull with very good width to cheeks and short blunt nose, ears are of medium size and good shape, broad at the base and cupped; held correctly just wide of parallel. Lovely large luminous greenish yellow eyes are of very good shape, held well open and set wide apart and at a slight slant to give typical expression. Very gentle curve to brow, slight stop, short straight nose and level chin of fairly good depth. Medium length to coat, fine, close-lying and silky smooth in texture, in superb condition with a gleaming shine. Well defined pattern of ticking is even and dark seal brown in colour, which is a touch cool in tone; slight spine line, narrow inner leg bars, Good facial markings with defined “Cheetah” lines on cheeks and “M” and skullcap, slightly salmon tone to backs of ears, but again rather cool in tone. Tail tapers evenly to blunt tip and balances. Delightful temperament and gorgeous expression.

Long slender muscular body is heavy and substantial, feeling firm with level back, gently rounded chest and slender, well shaped limbs ending in compact rounded paws in proportion. Head forms balanced modified wedge with rounded contours and good breadth to muzzle and uniform width to nose. Well spaced medium size ears are broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous rounded almond shape eyes are set wide apart under level brows to give super “worried” expression, gooseberry green in colour with hint of a yellow cast. Good profile line to nose shows slight dip, chin is level and of fairly good depth. Coat is fine, close-lying and dense, good silky texture and showing resilience and a super glossy sheen. Well defined pattern of dark charcoal spots is evenly distributed and contrasts against a clear silver agouti ground; double necklace is broken, slightly solid on lower back, bars and spots on legs, good facial markings with defined “M” and complex scarab. Tail tapers evenly to finer rounded tip and almost balances. Confident, alert, lively boy and very friendly.

Head shows medium wedge with rounded contours and good breadth to gently rounded muzzle and uniform width to nose. Well spaced medium large broad based ears are of good shape and moderately pointed. Expressive large rounded almond shaped eyes are set wide apart under straight brows to give typical “worried” look; colour is gooseberry green with a slight yellowish cast. Very gentle curve to brow, slight dip in profile line to nose, level chin is of reasonably good depth. Coat of medium length is fine and quite dense, good silky smooth texture overall, just a touch dry on lover back, in super condition with a glistening shine. Pattern of spots in palish charcoal grey is evenly distributed and contrast against a clear silver agouti ground, faint but attractive facial markings with “M” and complex scarab, broken bracelets and spots on legs, broken necklace. Tail is of good shape, tapering to a finer, tense tip, length is just short to balance. Relaxed and affectionate girl who purred throughout.

Slender firm well muscled body is of good weight, just a touch lean along the spine, gently rounded chest and elegant well shaped legs ending in neat rounded paws in proportion. Head forms balanced medium wedge with good breadth to gently rounded muzzle showing whisker break, prominent rounded whisker pads and lovely long curled whiskers. Well spaced medium large broad based ears are broad at the base and of good shape, moderate muffs and tiny tufts at tips. Large lustrous rounded almond shaped eyes are set wide apart and at a slight slant to give pleasing expression. Coat is of quite good length with gentle curl to hairs giving good unkempt appearance, texture is soft and moderately “springy”, slight ruff and moderately full plume to tail. Tail is of good shape and almost balances. Very sweet natured girl and in very good condition.

Head forms broad medium wedge with high cheeks and good breadth to gently rounded muzzle. Well spaced medium large ears are broad at the base and of good shape. Large expressive walnut shaped eyes are set wide apart and at a slight slant, colour is clear palish blue. Flat plane to brow, slight dip in profile line to nose; chin recedes a touch and is of reasonably good depth. Coat is of medium length and close-lying, good texture and feeling quite resilient, in super condition with a gleaming shine. Rich seal brown surface shading on back and sides lies over warm beige body colour; clean pristine white mittens and boots almost match. Tail tapers evenly to finer rounded tip, length almost balances. Calm gentle girl and very sweet natured.

Slender firm muscular body is of very good size and weight with gently rounded chest and slender shapely limbs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head shows broad medium wedge with high cheeks and good breadth to gently rounded muzzle. Well spaced medium size ears are broad at the base and of good shape. Large expressive walnut shaped eyes are set wide apart and at a slight slant, colour is a rather pale blue. Flat plane to brow, slight dip in profile line to nose, chin is just level and of fairly good depth. Medium length to coat, close-lying and with smooth resilient texture; in super condition with a glossy sheen. Warm rich dark seal brown points match in tone, showing a fair amount of surface shading in paler warm seal brown over warm pale beige body colour; pristine white inverted half “V” on one side of face, clean white mittens and boots. Tail of good shape tapers to finer rather tense end and balances well. Friendly, good natured boy.
No merit to KILBURN’S SPINNING KEFLAVIK. Male Blue Point. 18/12/07.Handsome young man who is maturing well, very shy and nervous today. Slender firm well muscled body is of good weight and substance, gently rounded chest and slender shapely legs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head shows broad medium wedge with sufficient width to cheeks, but slightly fine in the muzzle with a rather “foxy” look overall. Well spaced medium large ears are broad at the base and of good shape. Expressive pale blue eyes of walnut shape are set wide apart and at a slight slant. Flat plane to brow, slight dip in profile line and bump on nose, chin recedes and is of reasonably good depth. Medium length to coat which lies close, texture is smooth with resilience beginning to develop; in very good condition with a healthy shine. Warm medium blue grey points match quite well in tone, warm paler blue grey shading lies over pale bluish white body colour. Clean white mittens and boots and showing ghost tabby markings on legs and tail. Tail is of good shape and almost balances. Tense boy shown in good condition, but very nervous and not showing himself today.
No merit to SOUTHALL’S COLDENUFFORSNOW OPAL. Female Blue Point. 25/4/07.Attractive mature girl is of very good size, strong and substantial. Slender firm well muscled body is of very good weight, chest is gently rounded, slender shapely legs end in neat oval paws in proportion. Broad medium wedge shape to head but rather square and “boxy” in the muzzle. Medium size ears are of good shape, but held too high on head. Expressive walnut shaped eyes and set wide apart, colour is a good medium blue. Flattish plane to brow, slight dip in profile line to nose, chin recedes and is of reasonably good depth. Medium length coat lies close to the body, good resilient texture and displaying a healthy sheen. Medium to slightly dark blue grey points match quite well in tone, extensive paler blue grey surface shading on body over pale blue-white tone; inverted white “V” on face, pristine white chin, chest and under-parts, clean white mittens and boots. Tail is of good shape and just balances. Calm, good natured girl shown in super condition.
Merit to SOUTHALL’S COLDENUFFORSNOW VILLARS. Female Blue Point. 23/4/08.Pretty young lady of very pleasing type, who is developing well and of good size and weight for her age. Slender body with good muscle tone, feeling firm with very good substance, gently rounded chest and slender well shaped legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head forms broad medium wedge with high cheeks and good breadth to gently rounded muzzle. Well spaced medium size ears are broad at the base and of good shape. Expressive walnut shaped eyes are of very good size, set wide apart and at a slight slant, palish blue in colour. Flat plane to brow, slight dip in profile line to nose, chin recedes slightly and is of reasonably good depth. Coat of medium length is a touch long on the back, close lying but slightly soft in texture as yet – however, quite acceptable in a kitten of this age; in super condition with a healthy shine. Warm medium blue grey points, slightly paler in tone on legs which show some ghost barring; inverted clear white “V” on face, pristine white chest, under-parts, mittens and boots. Tail is of good shape and length balances. Alert and very sweet natured.
