Another busy and exciting show for the Yorkshire Cat Club with Lynda Ashmore back at the helm after a years absence. There was some excellent quality amongst the Siamese contestants and as usual an excellent roast dinner which was most welcome. My steward was Trina Simpson, as always, an excellent companion and a great help.

TORTIE POINT SIAMESE ADULT:

1.CC. BROCK’S MEILLAND TRULY TEMPTING(32b1) 17.8.07

Slightly immature lady of excellent type. Straight, medium length wedge with good top of head and large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour which, ideally, needs to be deeper. Delicate head carriage and elegant neckline with stylish body type, slender legs and a tail which was slightly thick at the root . All points well mingled with lots of red and some toning shading on a coat which was smooth and close lying.

BOB.KNOWLSON’S GR.CH.DRESTOTHRIL SILK DRAWERS(32b1) 3.6.06

Mature and finished, lots of style and confidence. Well balanced wedge with excellent top of head and large ears. Straight nose, level bite and firm chin. Oriental eye shape and set with copybook deep violet eye colour. Graceful head carriage and long svelte body with slim legs and long whip tail. Seal points well mingled with shades of red and a coat of excellent length and texture.

SEAL POINT SIAMESE KITTEN MALE:

1.BOB.W/H. PHILLIP’S ASSIYA AMADEUS MYKEE 12.5.06 Well grown kitten of good type. Good length head with pinch to muzzle and good width between large ears. Almost straight profile, level bite and good chin. Straight set eyes of oriental shape and clear blue colour which needs to be deeper; this was my main reason for withholding BOB. Well nourished body of good type with slim legs and long whip tail. Warm seal points and a clear coat which was short and close lying.

RED POINT NEUTER:

A strong class of red point neuters any of whom could have been the winner in different circumstances.

1.PC.SHOVELTON & DOWNS’ WESTGARTH JAZERAH 15.10.07

Young male of excellent growth and style. Balanced wedge of good length with balancing width between large ears. Roman profile, level bite and firm chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear, bright blue colour, which could be deeper for perfection. Well defined neckline and long, muscular body with slim legs and long whip tail. Bright red points colour and a warm white coat of excellent length and texture.

2.HOCKEN.S PR.EPITOME SUNDANCE 28.10.06

A beautifully grown, mature male. Good length head with balancing width between large ears. Almost straight profile, level bite and slightly shallow chin. Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour slightly lacking in depth. Proud head carriage and long muscular body of stylish type with slender legs and slightly thick tail. Bright red points with minimal shading on a coat which was short and close lying.

BOB.THORPE & THORPE’S PR.JOHPAS DROPREDGORGEOUS 19.10.07

The name says it all! Excellent top of head and beautifully placed large ears. Lovely profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Stylish type overall with elegant neckline, svelte body and slender legs and long whip tail. Bright red points and a warm white coat of excellent quality just a fraction long on the lower back.

CREAM POINT SIAMESE NEUTER MALE:

1.WEBSTER’S STENIC RIKKI TIKKI TAVI 11.11.06

Well grown boy with excellent top of head and large ears. Almost straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour which, again, needs to be deeper for perfection. Good head carriage, firm body of stylish type, slender legs and long whip tail. Clear, close lying coat and rather hot cream points, Beautifully presented.

A bumper class with a runaway winner!

1.ARMSTRONG’S JOHPAS RED ROUE(32a) M 19.10.07

Beautifully grown and gleaming with condition. Straight, strong wedge of medium length and excellent top of head with large flared ears. Very good profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with dreary expression and bright blue colour. Long muscular body with slim legs and a tail which needs an inch and is slightly thick at the root. Bright red points and a warm white coat of excellent texture.

2.HUDSON’S FIORDILISO VALENTINO(24r) M 31.12.07

Just an adult and needs more maturity. Straight, good length wedge with excellent top of head and large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour. Proud head carriage and a long muscular body of stylish type with slender legs and long whip tail. Good points colour with a warm ‘flush’ and a magnolia coat of excellent length and texture.

3.CASSAR-SIMMOND’S FURRYFACE ESPERANZA (324) F 4.1.08

ANY COLOUR SIAMESE/BALINESE RADIUS KITTEN:

1.DEBOWSKA’S METEXA VIVA-LAVIDA (32b3) F 29.04.08

Attractive kitten of good type. Good top of head and large well placed ears. Almost straight profile, level bite and good chin. Straight set eyes of oriental shape and deep blue colour. Dainty type overall with delicate neckline and firm body with slender legs and long whip tail with the tiniest kink at the end. All points well mingled and a clear coat of good texture just a fraction long at present,

2.WEBSTER’S NANPEMA RED RUMBA(32a) MN 14.2.08

Well grown boy with good top of head and large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour. Long well grown body of stylish type with slim legs and whip tail. Bright red points colour and a warm white coat of excellent length and texture.

3.PHILLIPS’ ASSIYA AMADEUS MYKEE(24) M 12.5.08

AC SIAMESE/BALINESE VISITOR’S KITTEN:

1.KNOWLSON’S DRESTOTHRIL VIVA-LA-DIVA(32/1) F 19.2.08

Dainty, fine boned kitten of very good type. Good top of head and large well placed ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Elegant head carriage and Long body of good type with slim legs and long well ringed tail. All tabby markings well defined showing M on brow, thumb prints, cheek ribbons and leg bars and bracelets. Minimal shading on a slightly long, harsh coat.

2.BLACKBOURN’S PLEZTOBE PRINCE CHARMING(24b) M 15.5.08

Chocolate point kitten of excellent type. Straight wedge with good top of head and large ears. Straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Well defined neckline, long firm body of stylish type with dainty legs and whip tail. Rich chocolate points and an ivory coat of exquisite quality.
