First day back and thankfully a fairly light book I was exhausted by the end of the day. However, it was good to be back on my feet and I had some lovely cats to handle. My thanks to Lynda and her team for the invitation and as always the warm hospitality and excellent lunch, and special thanks to my steward Penny Jackson for taking good care of me and her gentle handling of the cats.
ORIENTAL RED ADULT, MALE
1 &CC TARBOX TIJANMEEK NAVHRA 37d M 28/8/07quite a handsome young man just over a year and still slightly innocent in appearance, he has a head of quite a nicely balanced wedge with large well placed flared ears, oriental green eyes of reasonable colour, almost straight profile good chin and level bite. Although, he is at that adolescent stage were his head is not quite big enough for his body. Long slender body with rich red coat short and close lying and sound to roots. Slender long legs and neat paws with lovely length of whip tail slightly shy, good presentation.
ORIENTAL RED ADULT, FEMALE
BOB TARBOX GR CH CHIKUAI LALIMA 37d F 8/7/06 very pretty and stylish girl who has that extra bit of maturity, beautifully balanced head with large flared ears set at just the right angle, oriental pale green eyes and lovely even profile with good chin and bite. Graceful neck lines and long slender body with really short close coat slightly paler red in colour, long legs with neat little paws and lovely long whippy tail. Quite a dainty young lady, very friendly and in excellent condition and nicely presented.

1 CC & BOB TARBOX CH TIJANMEEK MCLAREN 37fn M 23/8/07 Lovely big apricot boy with excellent head carried well on elegant neck and huge wide based ears well set, oriental olive green eyes and strong profile with good chin and bite. Strong powerful long body with short close coat sound to roots and in top condition, long legs and neat oval paws and excellent long tail to match the length of his boy. Again a lovely natured boy nicely presented.
ORIENTAL BLACK NEUTER
1 PC HALLIDAY’S TOGHAR MIDNITE MAJIK 37 MN 18/10/07 quite stylish young man just over a year, long wedge and huge wide based ear he could just do with a fraction more width across the top line. Oriental set bright green eyes and lovely almost roman profile, good chin and bite, although he still has a tiny pinch to his muzzle. Graceful neck and long svelte body with short close dense black coat, no white hairs, slender long legs and neat oval paws with excellent length of whip tail to balance, good presentation and temperament.
BOB REHMAN’S GR PR SENSAY SHINING EDITION 37 MN 10/5/06 big mature boy with excellent head, huge wide based ears well set and broad top line. Bright green oriental eyes and strong profile with good chin and bite. Big powerful long svelte body and short black coat that shines like patent leather, no white hairs, Long legs with neat paws and wonderful long whip tail. Excellent temperament and condition and he has the edge today for BOB on maturity.

1 PC & BOB HUTCHINGS CH WILLHAVETODO HURRYUPHARRY 37a MN 4/8/07 lovely young man with style and elegance, well balanced wedge of good length and large wide based ears with good width across the top line. Oriental set deep green eyes and strong roman profile, he has a surprisingly good chin, his bite just meets, fractionally scissored but the teeth touch. Elegant long neck and svelte body with a really short close lying coat that is sound to the roots if slightly darker than desired the condition is excellent. Slender long legs, neat paws and wonderful long whippy tail, lovely temperament.
ORIENTAL BLUE NEUTER, FEMALE
1 PC LLOYD’S GR CH SEIDO SEASCAPE 37a FN 24/4/00 mature lady of modest type but still looking well for her age, medium wedge with ears of quite good set though they could be slightly bigger. Lovely bright green oriental eyes, her profile has begun to dip a little with age but good chin and she still has a practically full set of teeth. Reasonable length of body though some degree of middle age spread which I can sympathise with, short coat that is a lovely soft powder blue and sound to the roots. Long slender legs with neat oval paws and reasonable length of tail to balance, slightly shy well presented.
CHOCOLATE POINT SIAMESE KITTEN, MALE
1 & BOB BLACKBOURN’S PLEZETOBE PRINCE CHARMING 24b M 15/5/08 young man of moderate even type with large wide based ears of good set with width across the top line. Oriental set mid blue eyes that varied in depth of colour depending on the direction but quite bright and clear, almost straight profile, reasonable depth of chin and level bite. His mask is quite well developed in a slightly darker shade of chocolate although there is a pleasing degree of warmth to the shade, well matched to his ears and tail. Good length of slender body with clear ivory coat that is fractionally long but lovely condition and he is well covered and developed. Long legs with neat oval paws which suggest he will be quite a big boy when fully grown, slightly paler chocolate stockings and good length of whip like tail, sweet natured and well presented.
CHOCOLATE POINT SIAMESE KITTEN, FEMALE
1 MOORE’S KINKAJEWSDEN AKENA 24b F 29/5/08 sweet little girl with medium length wedge and large well placed ears wide at base, almost straight profile with good chin and bite with tiny teething pinch to muzzle and deep blue oriental eyes, however, her mask and points are really very dark chocolate she could almost pass for seal except that her pinkie brown paw pads say chocolate. Neat little body of reasonable size for age with some shading to her lower back, her coat is fractionally long rather cool toned lacking the warmth if the ivory colour, though in good condition. Slender long legs and dainty little paws her stockings are well matched in the same dark shade, reasonable length of stringy tail that has a small anomaly at the end which is neither a kink or a knobble and only palpable in one direction, good presentation.
FAWN POINT ITERMEDIATE SIAMESE KITTEN
1 BOB WITHHELD HAGGAR’S SOLARUS BEAUDIDDLY 24r M 2/4/08 rather innocent and effeminate looking young boy with short medium wedge and large ears carried quite tall, basically straight profile with firm chin and bite, but sadly his eye colour leave rather a lot to be desired, I really don’t think I have ever seen such a pale china blue and they are quite full in shape which adds to his very innocent expression and was my main reason for withholding. Long body with reasonable muscle tone and clear magnolia coat that is soft in texture and slightly long, good leg length and neat oval paws but he could benefit from another inch on the length of his tail. His mask is quite well developed in a warm rosy mushroom well matched to his ears paws and tail for colour, a sweet natured little chap nicely presented.

1 CORBY & DOLAN’S CH IKISHIROO KIRASH TAMASIN 37a F 30/4/07 rather cross young lady with medium wedge and large ears of reasonable set, pale green oriental eyes slightly full, almost straight profile level chin and bite. Good length of body with close lying blue coat that is fractionally longer than desired and slightly dark but still sound to roots in good condition. Long legs and neat paws with reasonable length of tail to balance, well presented but not exactly enjoying her ady.
AV ORIENTAL NOT HAVING WON A CC
1 BENNETT’S ADAJAN SAYNT GEORGE 48 38d M 23/4/07 quite handsome red Bi-colour boy, good head with large well placed flared ears and good width across the top. Oriental set green eyes and straight profile with good chin and level bite, red on ears, white on both cheeks and under chin. Long svelte body with red spotted saddle of colour with white running through from his chin right under his tummy. Slender long legs and neat oval paws and there is white on all four feet and legs, long red tail to balance. Gentle friendly boy who needs more time spent on his presentation, his ears are not exactly clean and there is some acne around his chin.

A really strong class of quality exhibits as it should be, but what a difficult choice to make.
1 HOLDSWORTH’S CH BILLSTES TIFFANY 37m F 9/7/07 really striking cinnamon tortie girl with excellent head and huge wide based ears well set and lovely bright green oriental eyes. Strong profile deep chin and level bite all set on long elegant neck which flows well into an elegant long body. Wonderful short close lying coat that is sound and beautifully mingled bright cinnamon and red in excellent condition. Slender long legs and neat oval paws with super long whippy tail to balance and she has a wonderful gentle and friendly nature nicely presented, a real pleasure to handle.

X2 YEOMAN’S CH KIMELPHA KARAMIST KYRA 43ps F 22/2/06 caramel tortie silver shaded girl with well balanced even wedge and large wide based ears. Lovely bright green oriental eyes and strong profile with good chin and bite. Good firm muscular body lines and short close coat that is well mingled caramel and apricot tortie coat with approximately fifty percent silver base. Slender legs of good length and neat oval paws with good length of whip tail, very friendly and well presented.

1 DEBOWSKA’S METEXA MENDOSA 37d M 29/4/08 charming little red boy with super stylish wedge and huge wide based ears that he has yet to grow into, lovely strong profile with good chin and bite and mid green oriental eyes. Slender elegant neck and body lines with short close rich red coat sound to the roots and in top condition, long legs and neat paws with the longest tail I have seen for a while, he could almost skip with it or use it for a scarf, a delightful young man.

1 JACKSON’S DRUIDSWAY BLACK PANTHER 37 M 7/5/08 very stylish little black boy with an exquisite purr that makes his whole body tremble, which I know is not included in the standard. Wonderful head with enormous ears wide based and well set, deep green oriental eyes and strong profile with good chin and bite. Elegant long neck and slender long body with short close coat that is sound to the roots with no trace of a white hair. Long legs with neat little oval paws and a super long whip tail that balances well, beautifully presented in excellent condition, the purr just helped to bribe the judge.
2 RICE’S SEIDO SULTRESS OF SWING 37 F 13/4/08pretty young black girl with nicely balanced even wedge and large wide based ears well set. Green oriental eyes and straight profile with good chin, her bite just about meets but she is growing, tiny pinch to muzzle. Slender long body and dense black coat sound to roots short and close lying, long legs with dainty little paws and long whippy tail to balance, nicely presented and sweet natured.
3 HAGGAR’S SOLARUS FUNNYHONEY 37y F 21/3/08 pretty caramel tortie baby with nice even wedge and large well placed flared ears. Almost straight profile, good chin and bite and oriental set olive green eyes. Slender little body of good length with well mingled caramel and apricot tortie coat short and close lying and sound. Long legs with dainty little oval paws and lovely long tail, could have been slightly bigger for her age but she is in season, slightly shy well presented.
AC SIAMESE OR BALINESE ADULT FEMALE
DOUBLE’S REUDENZA MOONBEAM 32.8 F 3/1/06 quite stylish mature young lady caramel tabby point with good balance to her head and large wide based ears with thumb prints just apparent. Nice top of head and good strength of profile with bright clear royal blue oriental eyes, scarab to brow eye ribbons and whisker spots with good chin and bite, probably blue based caramel. Graceful neck lines and short close lying coat that is quite shaded but in tone with her points and there is still clear contrast, she is a little too well fed which detracts slightly from her overall elegance. Slender long legs and neat oval paws with good leg bracelets and neat paws, well ringed whip tail which would have just benefited from another half an inch, well present and good natured queen.
2 POUND’S GR CH JOMESE JENUINELY GORGJUS 32a F 4/5/06 pretty red point queen with good even wedge and large wide based ears and wonderful deep blue oriental eyes. Straight profile with firm chin but her bite is slightly untidy at the moment, pale red mask matched to her ears for colour. Graceful long neck and slender body with clear off white coat that I just felt was slightly open today and she needed a little more weight on her. It was quite cold in the hall during the morning especially at that end and maybe she has just returned from maternity leave and not quite back to full condition. Long slender legs with neat paws, pale red stockings and lovely length of whip tail, excellent temperament and presentation.
3 DOUBLE’S CH MIYASAMA MADAMINA 24c F 15/10/03 quite nice lilac point girl looking good for her age, medium even wedge with large wide based ears of reasonable set, better as she relaxed. Bright clear mid blue oriental eyes and straight profile with good chin and level bite, soft pinkie lilac toned mask that is complete well matched to her ears and tail for colour. Good length of body slightly well fed but in lovely condition and magnolia coat that is a fraction long with some warm tonal shading to lower flanks. Long legs with neat oval paws and paler lilac stockings, good length of whippy tail to balance, nicely presented with lovely temperament.
AC SIAMESE OR BALINESE DEBUTANTE KITTEN
A lovely class of kittens, certainly it was a very hard choice between the first three or four, the first two were just pocket sized!
1 PALMER’S STYPERSON TOP DRAWER 32.1 F 1/7/08 delicious little seal tabby point baby girl with excellent head of real style and huge wide based ears showing clear thumb prints. Wonderful deep blue oriental eyes and lovely strength of profile for one so young, M to brow, single eye ribbons and whisker spots, good depth of chin and level bite just a tiny teething pinch. Proportionate body length and really short close coat that is still slightly muddy at present but in excellent condition, long slender legs and dainty little paws, leg barring developing well and well ringed long stringy tail, outstanding temperament and presentation.
2 HOWARTH’S MIYASAMA FREDDIES GIRL 32b1 F 29/6/08 another delightful baby seal tortie point who really I would have liked to have given an extra first but it’s not allowed. Excellent head with huge wide based ears and good top line, exquisite deep blue oriental eyes just a fraction full with wonder, lovely profile with good chin and bite again with just a tiny teething pinch. Graceful neck and body lines her coat is just that tiny bit baby long but clear cream, long legs, dainty little paws and long stringy tail. The absolute delight for me is that all her point are well broken tortie but most of all there is RED everywhere, I knew it was possible and what a pleasure to see. Super little person well presented
3 BAILEY’S METEXA MIKHAIL 32.1 M 4/4/08 handsome seal tabby point young man with lovely stylish wedge and large well placed flared ears with thumb prints. Wonderful deep blue oriental eyes with single ribbons and strong profile, M to brow and whisker spots, I would have liked a slightly deeper chin but the bite is level. Long slender body with good muscle tone and really short close lying coat although he is quite shaded at the moment. He stands tall on long slender legs with well developed bracelets and lovely well ringed long whippy tail to balance, a gentle boy nicely presented.
X3 DAVIES BURNTHWAITES DANCING QUEEN 24c F 19/5/08 rather pretty lilac point young queen with nicely balanced if not overly long head and large wide based and well set ears with good width between. Lovely bright blue oriental eyes of good shape, straight profile, god depth of chin and clean level bite, soft pinkie toned lilac mask showing a nice degree of development and well matched with her ears and tail. Slender long body and short close coat clear magnolia in excellent condition, long legs with neat dainty paws with very soft lilac colouration just starting to develop on her stockings, lovely long whip tail to balance, excellent temperament and presentation.
