I would like to thank Sally and Mr P Asquith for inviting me to judge at a very friendly show also my thanks, to Ann Mott for being my steward, and marking my catalogue at the end of the day. Look forward to the next time.

CHOCOLATE OR LILAC POINT BIRMAN KITTEN

1st & BOB Medlock & Whitworth’s KITTA HERA (13c4) F 6/8/09 Lilac Point Kitten

A very attractive lilac Birman kitten of good type just 7 months 3 weeks old. Strong, broad rounded skull, with medium ears set well apart.. Cheeks full and round tapering to a strong developed muzzle level bite. Nose medium in length, with correct dip to profile, lilac nose leather. Deep blue eyes almost round but not bold. Body long well boned and of good substance for age. Thick set limbs of medium length, paws short and strong. Bushy medium length tail. A lovely soft and silky texture to her off white magnolia colour coat, which complements her pinkish grey points. Visible ruff around the neck, slightly curled on the stomach. Even front white symmetrical gloves ending in an even line across the paw and not passing beyond the angle formed by the paw and leg, and not passing the stopper pad just behind the leg. The white socks covering the entire paw and gauntlets tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock. Excellent temperament, bright eyes and just loved a cuddle.

TABBY OR TORTIE TABBY POINT BIRMAN KITTEN

1st & BOB Tyler’s SKYVALLEY BOBBLEICIOUS (13C11) F 21/10/08 Seal tabby point kitten.

A lovely Seal Tabby point Birman of good type just over 5 months old. Skull strong broad and rounded. With a clear’ M ‘marking on the fore-head. Medium ears set well apart, with clear thumb prints to ears. The right ear in the middle of the thumb print had a small bare patch, which was completely healed up with new hair growing. Obviously been in a scrap with a litter mate! Nose medium in length with slight dip in profile. Pinkish- nose leather to tone with the points. Cheeks full and round tapering to a strong developed muzzle. Level bite. Expressive blue eyes with light coloured ‘spectacle’ markings round the eyes with spotted whisker pads Long body, well boned of good substance for age. Legs of medium length and thick-set, paws short and strong. Tabby barring to legs. Solid markings evident on the back of the hind legs above the gauntlets Medium bushy tail displaying tabby rings. Coat groomed to perfection, to give a lovely silky texture, the ruff around the neck is just evident, slightly curled stomach. The mask, ears, legs and tail are seal brown markings on a pale brown agouti background to compliment a clear pale beige coat. The golden hue is very slight at the moment. The front white feet even across the gloves but slope up the side of the leg, not passing the stopper pad just behind the leg.
The pure white socks even, the right gauntlet tapering up the back of the leg to touch the point of the hock. The left gauntlet tapers to a point 2/3 towards point of hock. Bright eyes and temperament. Very friendly kitten.

A.V.JUNIOR ADULT FEMALE

1ST Mott’s JANDOUGLEN SEILEACH (TICA CH) F 14.3.08 Chocolate Tabby Point

A very pretty Chocolate Tabby point female with exquisite Birman expression. Skull strong, broad and rounded. With medium set ears spaced well apart, Clear thumb prints to ears. The ‘M’ marking on the forehead is clearly defined. Nose medium in length with slight dip in profile, The nose leather is pinkish to tone with the points. Cheeks full and round tapering to a strong well developed muzzle Level bite. Deep blue eyes almost round but not bold with light coloured ‘spectacle markings round the eyes with spotted whisker pads. Body long, well-boned and of good substance for age. Thick set limbs. Paws short and strong Tabby barring on the legs Tail bushy, and proportion to the body, showing some varied size rings with a solid tip to the tail. Excellent coat soft and silky to touch, good ruff around the neck, slightly curled stomach. All points clearly defined milk chocolate markings on a light bronze agouti background to compliment her ivory coloured body. The front white paws matching in an even line across the paw. With the right front paw has a slight flick going up the outside of the glove but does not go pass the dew claw at the back of the leg. The back white socks cover the entire paw and the gauntlets match tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock. This young girl each time I see her only improves as she gets older. Excellent temperament and eyes always bright and alert.

2nd Stanton’s CH RAGADDICT MIAMORIO (66 31) F 2/10/0 Bicolour seal female Ragdoll

A seal point bi-colour ragdoll female almost 1yr 6 months old with a sweet temperament. The mask has a balance inverted ‘V’ of white starting on the forehead extending downwards covering the nose, whisker pads and chin bib chest and under-body white. The front legs and back legs white Eyes slightly oblique set well apart and a good deep blue. Sturdy legs and rounded paws. The tail reaches to the shoulder blades and is long and bushy. Covered by a well-prepared silky textured medium length dense beige coat, with evenly distributed patches of white within her points colour.

3rd Hamilton’s FARMHOUSE TIGI TOOTSIE (66 31at) F 16/508 Blue Tabby Rag doll.

This sweet Tabby rag doll female just over 10 months Had a broad head with flat plane, good width between ears slightly tipped. Eyes slightly oblique and set well apart good blue eye colour ‘M’ just visible on the forehead. With light coloured spectacle markings round her blue eyes. Medium bushy tail which reaches to the shoulder blades. Well prepared silky textured bluish white, with evenly distributed patches of white which vary in size Blue tabby markings just showing on a light beige agouti background. Very young at the moment, so I feel she has a lot of development to do.

A.V NOVICE NEUTER.

1st Adams ARREZZA STARDUST (13c4) MN 21/3/08 Lilac Point Birman

A well grown boy with a lovely temperament. Strong rounded skull with medium ears set well apart. Almost round eyes of excellent deep blue. Medium nose with correct dip to profile. Nose leather lilac. Cheeks full and round tapering to a strong developed muzzle. Level bite. Long, well boned body and of good substance for age. Legs of medium length and thick-set, paws short and strong. Bushy tail and proportion to the body. Coat groomed to perfection to give a soft silky texture, medium ruff around the neck slightly curled stomach. All his points are pinkish grey to compliment his body off-white magnolia colour. The pure white gloves even across the paw slightly low, so do not pass the stopper pad just behind the leg. The pure white socks covering the entire paw, and gauntlets tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock. I remember judging him when he was just over 4 months and note he has developed into a big strong boy now. May he progress with age. His temperament was splendid.

2nd Floyd’s MABALAKAT MONKEY BUSINESS (64 41w) MN 21/6/08 Main coon Brown Tabby and white classic.

A strong head the nasal bridge being equidistant from the ear line and the tip of the nose a nice white blaze on his nose an white bib square muzzle strong body golden eyes full and round and spaced wide apart with slightly oblique aperture and set. Large tall ears wide at the base and tapering to appear pointed at the tip, set high but well apart on the flank of the body “oyster “ shaped patch with complete rings which were equal both sides. The legs are barred. evenly with bracelets from the body markings to the toes. Excellent bushy tail wide at the base and tapering towards the tip Excellent temperament.

A.V. SENIOR NEUTER.

1st Leppards UK GR & IGR PR FANCYTOO GRUOCH (13c4) FN 29/12/95 Lilac Point Birman

What a stunning Lilac female Birman over 13yrs of age. I must comment on this girl to be a true’ ambassador’ to the Birman breed. Strong broad rounded skull with medium ears set well apart Nose medium in length with slight dip in profile and nose leather lilac. Cheeks full and round with well developed chin, level bite. Eyes blue, almost round but not bold. Long, large, well boned body and excellent substance. Strong limbs thick-set, paws short and strong.. Bushy tail and proportion to the body. Excellent coat, condition soft and silky to touch. Full ruff around the neck, all points pinkish grey to compliment her off-white magnolia body. The mask covers the entire face including whisker pads and connected to the ears by tracings. Front gloves pure white ending in an even line across the paw and not passing beyond the angle formed by the paw and leg, and not passing the stopper pad just behind the leg. Back white socks covering the entire paw and gauntlets matching tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock. Excellent temperament and very laid back.

2nd Stables PR RIVANNA CLOUDSHADOW (13c4) MN Lilac Point Birman.

A well grown lilac Birman boy, with lovely temperament. Strong, broad rounded skull, with medium ears set well apart. Almost round blue eyes not bold. Nose medium in length, with slight dip in profile. Cheeks full and round tapering to a strong developed muzzle. level bite Long, well boned body of good substance. Legs of medium length and thick-set, paws short and strong Bushy tail and proportion to the body Coat long, silken in texture, full ruff around the neck, slightly curled stomach. All points pinkish grey showing off a beautiful off white magnolia body. Front white gloves match in an even line across the paw and not passing the angle by the paw and leg and not passing the stopper pad just behind the leg. Back white socks covering the entire paw and gauntlets tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock. Excellent temperament Lovely to handle.

3rd Bell’s GR PR ARCADY MOPSA (13c130 fn 01.05.2000. Chocolate Tabby point Birman

A lovely mature chocolate tabby Birman 8ys and almost 11months of age. with strong, broad, and rounded head. ‘M’ marking on the forehead, light coloured spectacle markings around her deep blue eyes. almost round but not bold. With spotted whisker pads. Cheeks full and round tapering to a developed muzzle, level bite. Ears medium in size and spaced well apart. with clear thumb marks. Long, medium body with legs medium length and thick-set Paws short and strong. Tabby barring to legs. Bushy tail in proportion to the body displaying tabby rings,, Coat soft and silky in texture, full ruff around the neck, slight curled stomach. Eyes, nice and bright. All the points milk chocolate markings on a light bronze agouti background complimenting her beautiful ivory body. The front gloves white even across the paw but low. The white socks covering the entire paw with the gauntlets even, but the right gauntlet trickles up the back of the leg to finish just below the hock. The left gauntlet, tapering up to the back of the leg to finish with a nice point just below the hock. Lovely temperament very gentle lady, and a pleasure to judge

A V SEMI-LONGHAIR NEUTER

1st Butlers CH NEJEN SEALED WITHAKISS (13c1) FN 23/4/97

A very friendly seal point Birman 11yrs 11 month and 5 days. Skull strong, broad and rounded. Medium ears spaced well apart. Nose medium in length with slight dip in profile, dark seal brown nose leather. Cheeks full and round tapering to a strong developed muzzle. Level bite. Deep blue eyes almost round but not bold. Excellent body weight with strong boning, Legs of medium length and thick-set, paws short and strong. Tail bushy and proportion to the body. Groomed to give a soft silky texture to her coat, full ruff around the neck slightly curled stomach. Excellent dark brown to all her points. complimenting her pale beige and slight seal halo to her body. The mask covers the entire face including whisker pads and is connected to the ears by tracings. Front white feet low ending in an even line across the paw and not passing beyond the angle formed by the paw and leg, and not passing the stopper pad just behind the leg.
The pure white socks covering the entire paw, and gauntlets tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock. Lovely temperament.

2nd Ensor’s PR KITTAH ODYSSEUS (13c5) MN 25/10/07 Red point Birman.

A strong red point boy of excellent Birman type just over 1yr 5months of age. Skull strong, broad and rounded. With medium ears set well apart. Cheeks full and round tapering to a well developed muzzle. Medium length nose, I just felt a slight bump to it. Level bite Expressive deep blue eyes almost round but not bold. Body large, well-boned and of good substance for age. Medium strong limbs thick-set, paws short and strong. Tail bushy and proportion to the body. Coat long, soft and silky in texture, full ruff around the neck, slightly curled stomach. His eyes bright and so full of himself and wanted to play. Wonderful temperament. All points soft red in colouring, but the ears, mask and tail was a touch deeper red today. Which still contrasted his body pale cream, with a slight hint of golden hue. Nose leather pink.
Gloves are full and even . The white back socks covering the entire paw and gauntlets tapering up the back of the leg to the point of the hock. I remember judging this lad at just over 9 months, and WOW how he has become a super ‘Personality Plus’ Good luck to his future on the bench.

3rd Stanton’s GR PR AZERPASHAN BOBBY DAZZLER (66a) MN 25/4/01 Ragdoll.

A strong and well developed Rag doll with a firm body, legs and tufted paws in proportion, Tail balanced and bushy. Ears medium, wide set forward tilted, broad head with flat plane not domed and width between ears. Full cheeks rounded muzzle, good chin and level bite. Eyes large, well set and medium blue colour. Silky coat well developed with full ruff excellent condition. And delight to handle.

A C BIRMAN ADULT.

1st Dickerson’s GR CH CHOCACHINO (13c11) M 20/2/03 Seal Tabby point

A strong Seal Tabby Boy of good Birman type, just over 6yrs old. Strong, broad rounded skull, with medium ears set well apart, A clearly defined ‘M’ marking on the forehead, Cheeks full and round tapering to a strong well developed muzzle. Level bit. Medium nose, with a slight dip in profile. Nose leather pink. Deep blue eyes almost round but not bold with light coloured spectacle markings round the eyes with spotted whisker pads. Long, large well boned and excellent body weight.. Medium thick-set limbs paws short and strong. tabby barring to the legs. Tail bushy, and proportion to the body displaying tabby rings. Coat condition soft and silky in texture full ruff around the neck slightly curled stomach. All points seal brown markings on a pale brown agouti background. The body clear pale beige with a slight golden hue, which was a very good contrast to his points. Full white gloves and matching. The white socks covering the entire paw and gauntlets tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock. Excellent temperament.

2nd Bennett & Norfor PICNMIX MARIE BELLE (13c1) F 15/4/08 Seal Point adult.

A sweet seal point female over 11months of age Skull strong and rounded nose medium length with slight dip to profile, Cheeks full and round tapering to a strong chin. Level bite. Ears medium in size and spaced well apart Deep blue eyes almost round but not bold. Medium length limbs thick-set paws short and strong. Body long, well boned and of good substance. Tail medium in length and bushy. Coat soft and silky in texture, medium ruff around the neck slightly curled stomach. All points dark brown showing off her clear pale beige coat. The white front gloves match ending in an even line across the paw and not passing the stopper pad. The white back socks covering the entire paw and gauntlets tapering up the back of the leg with one finishing slightly higher than the other gauntlet just below the point of the hock I remember judging this female as a kitten at the Birman show last year, she has certainly grown into a lovely strong girl with a very sweet nature.

A C BIRMAN NEUTER

1st Stables IGR CH & GR PR RIVANNA CHIFFON (13c13) FN 21/3/99 Chocolate Tabby Point.

Superb elegant Chocolate Tabby Female now 10yrs old, Excellent Birman type with strong, broad and rounded skull, Clearly defined ‘M’ marking on the forehead, Ears medium set well apart Ears solid clear thumb ‘marks’ Nose medium in length with slight dip in profile. Cheeks full and round tapering to a strong developed muzzle. Level bite. Expressive blue eyes with light coloured ‘spectacle’ markings round her the eyes. speckled whisker pads. Body long, well boned and excellent weight. Medium thick-set legs, with paws short and strong Tabby barring to legs. Bushy tail and in proportion to the body displaying tabby rings. Coat long, soft and silky in texture, full ruff around the neck, slightly curled stomach. All points milk chocolate markings on a light bronze agouti background complimenting her beautiful Ivory body. Gloves match and even, socks covering the entire paw, Gauntlets even tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock. Wonderful temperament, looks stunning for her age.

Bushy tail displaying tabby rings. Coat soft and silky in texture full ruff around the neck. All points seal brown markings on a pale brown agouti background complimenting her body clear pale beige with a slight golden hue. Pure white front gloves even and the back white socks covering the entire paw and gauntlets tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock Excellent temperament and loved a cuddle.
