Many thanks to Sally for the invite to judge at this show. I had a really lovely day with some wonderful cats. Andrew kindly did trolley duty for me as I was without a steward, and we had a lovely time. Thanks for your help Andrew and for your first catalogue-marking job!

AV Semi-LH Gr Pr Neuter Male;

IGPC LEE’S CH & SUP UK IGR PR KALEMYO KLAUSFORAPPLAUSE (13c11, 17/5/00).

Lovely mature Seal Tabby Birman of excellent balanced type. Strong skull which is broad and rounded. Medium sized ears that are spaced well apart. Almost round blue eyes of good size. Medium length nose with dip. Well developed cheeks. Good bite. Well prepared coat. Seal brown markings on a pale beige agouti ground colour. M to forehead, spectacles, spotted whisker pads and thumbprints to ears. Barring to legs with a fully ringed tail. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Well grown lad with good body shape. Well furnished tail of good length.

RES IZZARD’S GR PR DUBROVA SUMATRA (13c2, 12/8/08).

Attractive Blue Point Birman lad of good type. Broad, rounded head. Medium size ears that are set fairly well. Almost round eyes of good mid blue. Medium length nose with slight dip in profile. Level bite. Well developed cheeks. Good chin. Coat of good length & well prepared with minimal shading. Mid blue to all points. Well matched gloves and socks. Gauntlets matching & tapering up the back of the leg to just below the point of hock. Well grown body of good length. Medium length legs with short, strong paws. Well furnished tail of good length.

IGPC Withheld. 1 DEACON’S GR PR GLEDEKATT FENJA (67 31t, 17/7/06).

Sweet Norwegian Forest girl of good type. Quite good triangular head shape, but spoilt slightly by ears which are set rather too tall. Green eyes of good size & well opened, set well. Almost straight profile. Level bite. Fairly good chin. Muzzle slightly too rounded. Coat well prepared & of good length. Good double coat throughout. Body very well grown – almost too portly, and sadly very cobby in shape, which was my key reason for withholding. Tail of good length, well furnished.

1 BOB CAIRNS’ FINCHFIELD JUSTIN TIME (70 1, 26/7/10).

Lovely Black lad of excellent balanced type. Good top of head with neat ears. Copper eyes of excellent shape & good size. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Level bite. Coat jet black & sound - very well prepared. His coat already stands out very well from his body. Excellent cobby body shape & short tail to balance.

Seal Point Birman Adult Male;

1 CC BOB MLYNEK & HAYWARD’S MLYWARD XCALIBER (13c1, 3/4/10).

Super lad of lovely balanced type. Good width to head with medium ears set well. Deep blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with slight dip in profile. Excellent width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Coat of good length & expertly prepared. Just slightly shady to his back & flanks today. Dark seal to all points. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Very well grown lad with good body shape. Medium tail, well furnished. So very well balanced – especially at such a young age. Delightful show temperament – I really love him!

Lovely balanced girl of super type. Good width to head with medium ears set well. Deep blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip, just slightly roman. Good width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Coat well prepared, just a fraction short at present. Minimal shading to body. Dark seal to all points. Fairly well matched gloves. Matching socks and matching tapered gauntlets. Well grown girl with good body shape. Medium tail, well furnished. A lovely girl who ran the boy very close for BOB.

2 GRIFFITHS’ JENICOL TOUCH OF CLASS (13c1, 6/2/10).

Sweet girl of good type, just looking a little adolescent at present. Ears of good size, held just a little tall. Deep blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip in profile. Cheeks need to develop a little more as she matures. Level bite. Fairly good chin. Coat of good length & well prepared. Almost clear to body and mid seal to all points. Just slight brindling to face. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Well grown girl with good body shape. Medium tail, well furnished.

Attractive Lilac point girl of good type. Good width between medium ears. Deep blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip. Good width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Lovely clear coat which was very well prepared. Mid lilac to all points. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Body of good shape & weight – just a fraction small. Medium tail, well furnished. Rather a lot to say for herself today!

Blue Point Birman Kitten;

1 GRIFFITHS’ ROZINELLA JENICOL ARABELLA (13c2, 10/4/10).

Striking girl of good type. Ears of good size held quite well. Deep blue eyes of good size & shape – slight tendency to bold when out of the pen, but better when relaxed. Nose showing good dip, just slightly roman. Quite good width to cheeks. Level bite. Chin could be a touch stronger. Almost clear coat of good length that was very well prepared. Pale blue to all points. Well matched gloves and socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Well grown girl with good body shape. Medium tail, well furnished.

2 LACHLAN’S YAKOTA PALOMA BLEU 13c2, 30/9/10).

Attractive young Blue point Birman lass of good type. Good width to head with medium ears set well. Slightly pale blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip. Good width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Very well prepared coat of good length. Clear to body & pale blue to all points. Right glove is good – unfortunately her left glove extends beyond the stopper pad. Well matched socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. A tiny baby, but of good weight for her size. Medium tail, well furnished.

1 HAMILTON’S PHATPAWS SHOW OFF (66 31a, 6/7/10).

Huge Blue Bi-Colour lad of well balanced type. Good flat plane to head. Ears well set, I would just like them a fraction larger for balance. Mid blue eyes of fairly good size & good shape. Nose showing good dip & slightly retrousse at tip. Very rounded muzzle – I would not like to see this any shorter. Level bite. Good chin. Excellent coat of good length which was expertly prepared. Good inverted ‘V’ to face with white patches to body. White to legs up to body. Pale bluish white body. Pale blue to points. Huge frame & string legs with good paws. Long bushy tail to balance. Excellent show temperament.

Attractive Blue Bi-Colour girl of well balanced type. Good flat plane to head. Ears of good size & set well. Mid blue eyes of good size & good shape. Nose showing good dip & slightly retrousse at tip. Well developed muzzle. Level bite. Good chin. Excellent coat of good length which was expertly prepared. Good inverted ‘V’ to face. White to legs up to body. Pale bluish white body. Pale blue to points – only a smidge of colour to the top of her legs. Huge frame & string legs with good paws. Long bushy tail to balance.

Attractive mature lady with good balance. Good width between medium ears that are well set. Lovely deep blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip – slightly roman. Good width to cheeks. Level bite & good chin. Well prepared coat of good length – just slightly shady today. Mid seal to all points. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Well grown girl with good body shape. Medium tail, well furnished.

Lovely Cream & White Bi-Colour girl of excellent balanced type. Super head with neat ears. Bold eyes of deep copper, expressive & of good size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Level bite. Full coat that was expertly prepared. Warm cream patches against around 70% pristine white. Cobby body. Short full tail.

2 HOWARD’S ALEMARS DESTINY OF PURRDREAMZ.

Pretty Blue Eyed White lass of good type. Broad top of head with ears that are well set – just a touch obvious at present. Good blue eyes of good size & shape, just a touch of staining today. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Well prepared coat of good length, pristine white. Cobby body. Short full tail.

AC Novice Persian Kitten;

1 ZAMMIT’S VILLIERS WATERLILLY (10, F, 24/8/10).

Very pretty little Chinchilla lass of lovely balanced type. Excellent broad top of head with neat ears. Pale blue green eyes that are bold and of excellent size & shape, well outlined with black. Very short broad nose, with pale brick red leather outlined with black. Full cheeks and firm chin. Level bite. Coat full and expertly prepared – looking very glamorous. Pristine white dusted with a very light even tipping of black throughout. Cobby body shape – she’s fairly well grown, I’d just like a touch more substance as she matures. Short full tail to balance. Really super girl with great show presence and a lovely temperament.

AC Semi-LH Debutante Adult Male;

1 ROSS’ NORSKWOOD ROLY POLY.

Norwegian Forest lad with good triangular head shape. Excellent well opened hazel eyes. Almost straight profile. Lovely balance. Coat a little woolly in texture at present, but good double developing along spine. Good body weight – I’d just like his body a touch longer.

Lovely Tortie Tabby Maine Coon girl of super balanced type. Excellent head with ears of good size, set high, well tufted & feathered. Green eyes of good size & shape. Nose showing good gentle concave curve in profile. Excellent square muzzle. Level bite. Well developed chin. Well prepared coat of good length. Clear tabby markings against a mid bronze agouti ground colour. Patches of rich shades of red overlaying the tabby markings. Clear ‘M’ to forehead with spectacles to eyes and tracings back to ears. Lines over head & butterfly to shoulders. Lines to back & oysters slightly diffused. Well ringed legs & tail. Super body shape, long & well muscled. Strong legs with well rounded paws showing good tufts. Long bushy tail to balance. A very striking girl.

2 DEANE’S ELMCOON EVANGELINE (64 31et, 15/10/04).

Tortie Tabby & White Maine Coon girl who was very unhappy today & not at all keen to be judged. Good type, with good breadth to head. Ears of good size & well tufted & feathered. They appeared to be held a little wide today – but she was clearly using the them to show us how she felt! Green eyes of good size, almost round in shape. Nose showing gentle concave curve in profile. Good square muzzle. Level bite. Good chin. Coat well prepared and of good length. Slightly diffused tabby markings against a mid bronze agouti ground colour. Patches of rich shades of red overlaying the tabby markings. Clear ‘M’ to forehead with spectacles to eyes and tracings back to ears. Diffused lines over head & butterfly to shoulders. Lines to back & oysters very diffused. Well ringed legs & tail. Well grown girl with good length to her body. Strong legs with well rounded paws showing good tufts. Tail is well furnished – just a fraction short for balance.

Nose showing gentle concave curve in profile. Width to muzzle needs to develop a little as she matures. Level bite & good chin. Pale bronze agouti ground colour to her head, body & tail, with well defined warm seal tabby markings. Faint overlays of shades of red to her flanks & tail. Clear ‘M’ to forehead, spectacles to eyes & good tracings back to ears. Clear lines over her head & butterfly to shoulders. Slightly diffused lines to back. Fairly clear oysters to flanks. Well ringed legs & tail. Fairly well grown girl with good length to her body. Strong legs with well rounded paws. Tail of good length, quite well furnished.

Ragamuffin lass of good type beautifully presented. A broad head of moderate length, rounded forehead. Rounded muzzle and cheeks, good chin. Ears well set and furnished with slight tilt forward. Large walnut shaped eyes. Rectangular shaped body with strong chest. Good knickerbockers. Heavily boned legs, medium in length with large tufted paws. Bushy tail tapered at tip. Super plush dense coat, nice ruff. Shown in lovely condition, and with a cuddly temperament to match!

Wonderful Cream Silver Shaded lad of excellent balanced type. Ears of good size, held reasonably high and very well furnished & tufted. Amber eyes of good size & shape. Nose showing gentle concave curve in profile. Excellent square muzzle. Level bite. Good chin. Coat of very good length & expertly prepared. White to chin, bib and paws. Mid cream to half the length of his coat, with good silvery white undercoat. Just slight ghost tabby markings to his head & legs at present. Excellent body shape & good muscle tone. Very well grown lad with strong legs & well rounded paws, showing good tufts. Very well furnished tail of good length. A really showy lad, with excellent temperament & great show presence. A real pleasure to judge.
