BUCKS, OXON AND BERKS CAT SOCIETY SHOW - 18 SEPTEMBER 2010 JUDGES REPORT - MRS CELIA DE MARTINO

Many thanks to Barbara and the committee for thinking of me when they needed another judge, happy to help out. Had a good time and some gorgeous cats. Hope exhibitors were not too disappointed with the judge change.

AV SLH RADIUS ADULT

1 KESTLE’S WESTRIKATT GUSTAV.

A black and white Norwegian forest lad with well prepared glossy black coat showing good undercoat for time of year. White paws nose whisker pads and chest. Triangular shaped head with well placed furnished ears, straight nose with rounded forehead, well set oval hazel eyes, alert expression, good bite and firm chin. Muscular body with sturdy legs, hind legs higher than front , showing knickerbockers and tail in proportion to body.

2 GUIDERA’S VANGUARD ZARAFET-KEDI

A lovely odd eyed white Turkish lad with well prepared chalky white coat of good length and texture. Lovely auburn tail in proportion to body. Well placed furnished ears, nose with barely perceptible dip in profile, good bite and firm chin. Well placed eyes slightly oblique in shape and set, alert expression, excellent shade of blue to one eye the other amber. Strong body with sturdy legs.

1 MURRAY’S ISADORYOU LIGHNING BUG

A tortie silver tabby maine coon female just 6 months old and well grown for age. Well placed furnished and tufted ears, nose with concave curve at nasal bridge, well placed orange eyes, good bite, firm chin and square muzzle. Muscular body with strong legs and tail in proportion. Well prepared coat showing excellent distribution of black and shades of red. Silver undercoat evident.

2 GRIFFITH’S JENCOL TOUCH OF CLASS.

A lovely 7 month old seal birman girl with well prepared soft silky very pale clear coat. Good seal brown points and mask developing. Even white gloves to front paws, even white socks to back paws and white gauntlets. Well placed furnished ears, blue almost round eyes , nose with slight dip in profile good bite and full chin. Well developed muscular body sturdy legs and bushy tail in proportion.

A brown tabby and white Norwegian forest lad. Just 6 months old and well grown for age. Good triangular head with well placed furnished and tufted ears, straight nose with rounded forehead, well placed oval green eyes slightly oblique in set, good bite and firm chin. Strong muscular body, sturdy legs, back legs higher than the front with knickerbockers. Lovely long tail. Well prepared coat showing mackerel tabby markings with white chest legs and tummy. Lovely woolly undercoat.

A blue point birman well grown for age and with a very pale soft silky ivory coat. Even white gloves to front paws and even socks to back paws. White gauntlets to back legs. Sturdy body with strong legs and tail in proportion. Well placed furnished ears, blue eyes well set and almost round, nose with slight dip in profile, good bite and full chin.

A brown tabby Norwegian forest girl only 4 months old and well grown for age. Triangular shaped head with well placed furnished and tufted ears, fairly large, straight nose with rounded forehead, good bite and firm chin. Well placed oval eyes slightly oblique in set , alert expression. Strong muscular body with sturdy legs, the back legs higher than the front and showing knickerbockers, rounded paws, and long tail. Well prepared soft silky kitten coat showing lots of guard hairs and some woolly undercoat.

A brown tabby and white maine coon with well prepared coat showing classic black tabby markings on warm brown background. White legs, whisker pads chest and tummy. Only 4 months old and well grown for age. Strong muscular body sturdy legs and long tail. Good head shape with well placed furnished and tufted ears, well set orange eyes, nose with concave curve at nasal bridge, good bite, firm chin and square muzzle.

A blue tabby bi colour ragamuffin with well prepared coat of good length and texture showing blue mackerel tabby markings on beige background. Plush soft and dense. White chin, chest and paws. Good width between well placed furnished ears, rounded cheeks, good bite, puffiness to whisker pads and firm chin. Well placed walnut shaped eyes. Weighty , rectangular muscular body, the shoulders being the same width as his rear end, sturdy legs, the back legs slightly longer than the front, large rounded paws. Tail in proportion to body.

A brown tabby and white Norwegian forest lad. Well prepared soft silky coat of good length and texture, good woolly undercoat. Large muscular body with sturdy legs, back legs higher than the front and having knickerbockers, round paws and full tail of adequate length. Good wedge shaped head with well placed large furnished and tufted ears, slightly forward facing, Straight nose with forehead rounded, well placed oval green eyes slightly oblique in set, good bite and firm chin.
