CENTRAL LONGHAIRED CAT CLUB – 23RD. JANUARY, 2010. MRS. PAT PERKINS - SHOW REPORT

I enjoyed my day at the Central, my thanks to Marion, Sheila and the team for the invitation. There were some quality cats and kittens, it was a pleasure to handle them. Special thanks to Pat Parrish for all her help, steward, landlady and chauffeur, she handled the cats beautifully with love and care.

IMPERIAL GRAND CHAMPION

MALE IMP. TO ANGUS GR. CH. ANYSTEN REDHOTCHILLIPEPPER – (14.6.08)

Impressive Red Self, beautifully shown, each hair separated, very soft full coat, a sound mid red, full frill framing his strong masculine head. Solid cobby build, tree trunk legs, big feet with lots of feathers, tail short and wide. Neat side set ears, long furnishings, broad nose, good break, wide leather and open nostrils. Super big round expressive eyes of a rich deep orange, firm chin, level bite – a quality boy with a super temperament.

RES. TO WHEELWRIGHTS GR. CH HERRAFARESIAH TOWSER – (24.5.07)

Another lovely boy, he had a thick long coat of a pale even blue, so nice to see such a pale colour, frill around his head. Width to top of head, tiny feathered ears, short nose with ample break, eyes perhaps just a tad deep set, firm chin and chubby cheeks. Body solid and set 4 square on thick short legs, breadth to chest, well furnished short tail – another lad with a gentle temperament.

FEMALE GR. PR. PHILLIPS GR. CH & GR. PR. CITOXE ICE MAIDEN – (16.6.05)

Orange-eyed White Exotic lady, solid and cobby, round apple head, small ears set to side, quite a short nose the leather broad with open nostrils. Firm chin and full cheeks, eyes when she would open them were round and a warm orange. Pristine white coat, dense but soft standing away very well, tail thick and short with rounded end – easy girl to handle.

1ST & CC DRAPERS DRAMEWILCATZ JACK DANIELS – (27.4.07)

Big gentle boy with a lovely wide open expression, huge round orange eyes, nose medium in length, broad with a ample stop, firm chin, small ears feathered and side set. Solid cobby build, good bone, thick short legs, big feet with lots of tufts. A very thick teddy bear coat, nice ruff, overall a good even mid blue, full wide tail to balance – well shown.

1ST & BOB EMERYS SWINGLETREE POLLY PATCH – (26.4.09)

Delightful youngster almost an adult, solid and cobby, well padded tummy, strong limbs. Rounded top of head with ears small and well set, long furnishings. Big round eyes of a soft blue, firm chin, level bite. Well developed mask and points showing red and black, tail very wide, again with two colours, thick creamy white body coat no shading – a very promising lively kitten.

1ST. CC & BOB HAMILTONS CH. LADYDOLL STUDMUFFIN – (27.5.08)

Great big Blue Bi-Colour, a real softie, so gentle and friendly. Long muscular body, strong thick legs with big rounded feet, thick well groomed coat, bluish white shading paler to sides, well developed greyish blue mask and ears. Even inverted triangle to face, white to legs, tummy and chest, back legs white to body, patch of white on back, long well furnished greyish blue tail. Ears slightly forward set, flat plane to forehead, large slightly oblique eyes of a good mid blue, firm chin.

1ST. & CC ADAMS RAGADEE TIRAMISU – (20.4.08)

Pretty Seal Bi-Colour lady, coat silky, body a very dark beige, but contrasting with seal points, white to chest, tummy and legs, back legs white to body, almost even inverted triangle to face. Super deep blue eyes, set slightly obliquely, curve to nose, ears set forward with flat plane between, good chin. A little small but well balanced, firm limbs, tail dark seal – very gentle lass.

Very nice Black Exotic girl, thick dense glossy coat of a sound black, standing away well, tail short and thick. Rounded head, with big orange eyes, full cheeks – nice temperament.

1st. TURNER-RUSSELLS VIVALDI ANNALISA

Blacked Tipped lady, small but compact, round head with small ears, lovely big expressive soft green eyes, thick coat standing away nicely, evenly tipped in black, thick short tail – gentle lass.

1ST. EMERYS TROUILLORD LEAVE A MESSAGE

Blue Tabby Colourpoint, solid cobby lad, good bone. Width to top of head, ears starting to drop, large eyes the colour coming in from centre, firm chin. Tabby marking to mask, slightly showing on legs and tail. Thick soft well groomed coat – friendly boy. 2ND. SIGGERYS ZENITH MERLIN – Solid Blue boy almost an adult, wearing a thick soft coat, a little dark on back, width to head, ears well furnished, big round eyes of a promising muddy brown – laid back lad.

1ST. McCABES BUNCHILLIE FIRESTORM

Super Red Smoke lad with striking big round copper eyes, short wide nose, good break, firm chin. Very full coat showing clear creamy white all over contrasts, top coat a good red especially to back and head, short well furnished tail - lovely nature.

1ST. BULLIVANTS BARANCHRI HATHOR

Sorrel Somali boy in lovely show condition. Coat dense a rich copper, apricot at base, even cinnamon ticking, spine line carrying down over well furnished tail. Good wedge shape to head, ears set wide apart, lovely bright oblique set eyes. Muscular body with long legs and neat feet – only just an adult but a quality lad.

2ND. CHAMBERS HUGMETIGHT PEEK A BOO

Attractive Brown Tabby and White Maine Coon wearing a very well marked classic tabby coat, warm ground, M, eye lines to head, ringed legs and tail, butterfly and oysters. Good head with ears set high and wide based, bright huge expressive eyes, firm chin – shy girl.

3RD. MLYNEK & HAYWARDS MLYWARD GYPSYQUEEN

Seal Tabby Birman showing good tabby markings and with super deep blue eye colour.

Tortie Classic Tabby & White Maine Coon, super girl with the excellent type, ears very high on head, long tips, curve to nose, bright oblique eyes, firm chin. Coat glossy, rich tortie colours overlaid with clear tabby to head and body, white to paws, chest and tummy, lovely long two colour tail - delightful youngster.

2ND. WATTS EMANAN CHOCOLATE SENSATION

Chocolate Somali, lovely baby coat already showing excellent ticking and colour. Ears set wide, nicely furnished, spectacles round large bright eyes, slight curve to nose. Coat dense, spine line coming in, chocolate to hocks, apricot to tummy chest and inner legs, long tail, good bone and substance for age – lovely temperament.

Lovely young Blue Birman girl with stunning deep blue eyes.

Solid Well developed White boy, long body, strong high legs, head a good triangular shape, straight profile, eyes oblique set, a pale green, good chin. Pristine coat, thick, shaggy trousers, long flowing tail – easy going lad to handle.

2ND.GRANTS VANAHEIM KIEKO

Blue Tabby girl, lovely coat texture, tabby to head and legs. Straight profile, head triangular with ears starting to settle to shape of head, firm chin. Length to body, very long tail – sweet temperament.

3RD. MANSELLS FORESTMIST NYLA

solid Blue Silver Tabby girl.

Attractive Usual Somali girl just over nine months, dense coat with even black ticking, slight grey with new coat at roots, lovely long well furnished tail. Bright oblique set eyes, ears nicely spaced, wide at base, inner furnishings, firm chin, slight curve to nose – a promising youngster.

Brown Tabby & White Maine Coon, long lean girl with high legs and big feet, glossy coat showing very well defined classic tabby, M, specs and eye lines to head, rings to legs and long tail. Bright oblique set eyes, ears high and wide based, firm chin, curve to nose – lovely temperament and well shown.

2ND. BUNCES IGR. PR. KEVERSTONE CLEMENTINE

Lovely Tortie Tabby & White lady, solid and well made, thick glossy coat showing bright tortie colours, shaggy tummy and trousers. Strong head, well set high ears, curve to nose, lovely oblique set eyes – quality lass who was so very shy.

3RD. COWARDS PR. NORDLEYS LIAM TOINENTOR

Mackerel Silver Tabby Norwegian lad with a lovely coat for texture.

1st. PATTERSONS PR. FORESTSHADOW CONAN

Striking Brown Tabby boy with a real “wegie” expression, straight profile, triangular head, ears wide based sitting into head contours, firm chin, bright oblique set eyes. Thick coat, showing nice tabby markings, shaggy tummy and full trousers, tail long and well furnished, solid bone and length to body- gentle fellow.

2ND. PORTERS NOYNAROCK PANSVALDRATTER

Well developed Silver Tabby lad, thick double coat, soft undercoat, nice frill, good bone and long body. Triangular head, straight profile, nice firm chin, lovely greenish oblique set eyes, ears wide based and well furnished – nice natured boy.
