CHOCOLATE POINTED SIAMESE CAT CLUB SHOW 13TH MARCH, 2010

My sincere thanks to Mavis (Donnelly) Show Manager for all her hard work in putting on this show. Although the entry was low the standard of exhibits was very good. I thank Geraldine (Sidnell) who kindly stewarded for me on the day – Geraldine handled the cats with great expertise and gentleness and together we had a really enjoyable day. The lunch was superb and I thank those members and committee who prepared the spread for us all and who worked hard during the day providing refreshments for the exhibitors.

SIAMESE/BALINESE PREMIER MALE

GR PC SMOUTH’S PR.KAMIK FIRECRACKER 32a MN 1yr.7mnths.

Very stylish boy with outstanding temperament. Strong head and profile, very good top – good chin. Large ears well set. Eyes of very good shape, set and excellent colour. Long firm body, long fine legs, neat paws, long tail to balance. Coat of excellent texture, very slight shading to tone with his points which are a rich red. Handled like a dream – really enjoying his day. Beautifully presented.

RG PC BENNETT’S CH.& PR. DAZZLING SWEETALKING GUY 32/8 MN 3yrs.

Handsome and well grown boy – who ran winner close. Strong head and profile, very good top of head, good chin. Large well set ears. Eyes very good shape, set and colour. Long firm body, long fine legs, neat paws. Long well ringed tail. Coat of very good texture, slight shading to tone with his points which are of a very good colour. Good tabby markings. A touch shy at first, but soon realised he was in safe hands. Beautifully presented.

RED POINT KITTEN FEMALE

1BOB REED’S HELSBELS CHUCHOTEZ LE 32a F 6mnths.

Stylish baby of very good overall balance. Strong even wedge, very good top, good chin, and very good profile. Large well set ears. Eyes of very good shape, set and colour. Medium length firm body, dainty legs and paws. Long tail with whip to balance. Coat of good texture, close lying, clear in colour. Points of very good colour – rich. Delightful temperament, a dream to handle – beautifully presented.

SEAL POINT NEUTER MALE

There were no cats in the open but I had to consider

exhibit 29 for BOB only i.e. MUSSON’S IMP.GR.PR.MYLYNN MY KINDA GUY 24 MN 3yrs8mnths

who I was delighted to give the award to. A truly super boy with excellent head, ear set and eyes. Coat of very good colour with Seal Brown Points – truly wonderful temperament.

PC BOB DINSDALE’S GR.CH.& PR.APPLEJACK BLUEFENIX 32b2 FN 6yrs1mnth.

Well grown and well nourished lady with outstanding temperament. Strong even wedge, good profile and very good top of head, good chin. Large ears well set. Eyes very good shape and very good colour. Medium length body, dainty legs and paws, good tail. Coat of very good texture, now shaded, all points showing breaks and mingling, blaze on profile. Points of good colour. Beautifully presented.

POINTED ORIENTAL BICOLOUR NEUTER MALE

Boy of good overall balance and colouring. Medium well balanced head, straight profile, good chin and very good top of head. Large ears of good set. Eyes of very good shape and colour. Good length firm body, fine long legs, neat paws, long tail to balance .Coat of excellent texture, good markings on ears tail head, in various shades of chocolate – white areas evident. Super temperament, very relaxed boy – beautifully presented.

Well grown and stylish girl with strong head and profile, very good top, good chin. Large well set flared ears. Eyes of good shape and colour. Good length firm body, dainty legs and paws. Long well ringed tail. Coat short, slight shading now – points of good colour. Good tabby markings. Delightful temperament, beautifully presented.

2.BAUGHAN’S FLUTTERBY KISSMEQUICK 32b3 F 10mnths 4wwks.

Another well grown and stylish girl who ran winner close today. Strong head, straight profile, good chin and very good top. Large ears well set. Eyes oriental and of very good colour. Good length firm body, dainty legs and paws, long tail to balance. Coat close lying, slight shading to tone with her points which are a touch dark but showing warmth. Blaze in profile. All points showing breaks and mingling. Wonderful temperament, beautifully presented.

3.BURROWS KAYPEZ DREAMCOME BLUE 24a F 1yr.1mnth.

Small for age with medium wedge, good top and chin, good profile. Large ears of good set. Eyes a bit full - colour could be more intense. Good length firm body, dainty legs and paws. Coat of good texture, points of good colour. Delightful girl.

Well grown long boy, long wedge which narrows a lot at muzzle, fair top of head, good chin and profile. Large ears of fair set. Eyes full, colour fair. Long firm body, long legs, neat paws, long tail. Coat of good texture, slight shading, points dark. Lovely temperament, beautifully presented.

HOUSEHOLD PETS. JUNIOR (OVER 9 MONTHS AND UNDER 2 YEARS)

1.GUY’S MC SIMBA RED LH MN 1 yr. 9mnths.

Huge well grown red boy looking serene in his double pen. Superb coat, long and well groomed. Lovely head with beautiful knowing eyes. Long firm body, firm legs and paws, long tail with super plume – flopped out in his pen and so very relaxed – a joy to judge and handle. Super temperament and beautifully shown.
