Report of Mrs Chris Bamford

I thank Linda, Maureen and the hard working committee for the invitation to judge. Steve Parkin stepped in at the last moment to steward for me and it was a pleasure to have his company for the day

Blue Cream Kitten:

1 & BOB. WRIGHT’S HERRAFARESIAH INDULGENCE. (13) 15/07/08.

Very pretty Blue Cream girl aged just 4 months and with good type overall. She had a lovely box shape to her body with good bone, short fat legs and a tail length in proportion. Round head, not perfectly smooth with neat ears. Her eyes could be bolder but she did open them up when encouraged and I then saw they were a lovely copper colour. Broad level bite, broad nose with a good break, nice cheeks and chin. Very soft full coat of pale sound blue and pale sound cream and well intermingled on the whole. The coat on her body appears predominantly blue but the cream is coming through at the roots. She has more cream to her frill and face especially to her eyebrows, cheeks and chin. Her tummy shows some small patches of cream rather than intermingling. Both colours are show to all extremities. A lovely exhibit.

Miscellaneous classes

AC Persian Breeders Neuter:

1. SMITH’S GR CH AND PR BESSJET CELESTE

Excellent exhibit with a really nice cobby shape, heavy bone and a short tail. Well rounded top of head with neat ears and large deep orange eyes. Broad nose with a good break, her bite is very slightly undershot. Excellent cheeks and chin. Full soft coat, well prepared with pale blue and pale cream well intermingled over the whole body including the face. Lovely temperament.

2. VAUGHAN’S CH & PR TWEENTOWN MERLIN. (7) 02/10/02.

Silver Tabby male with a nice cobby shape to his body, good bone and a tail length in proportion. He had a well rounded head with neat ears, broad nose, round hazel eyes with fat cheeks and a strong chin. Unfortunately his bite is undershot. His long coat was well presented, but just a touch harsh on his back, with a nice clear silver ground colour and dense black classic tabby markings. You could clearly see the rings to his tail, bars on all his legs, necklaces on his chest and spots on his tummy. He had well defined markings on his face, a clear spine line with a large butterfly across his shoulders and large oysters on his sides.

AC LH/SLH Kitten Limit Male:

1. WILSON’S MONTANTE PRADA. (66) 17/03/08.

Seal Colourpointed Ragdoll of good type with good weight and bone and a long tail. His broad head has an almost straight nose, excellent blue eyes, a level bite, good ear set and a well developed muzzle. His medium length coat is dense and silky with some body shading and deep seal coloured points. Wonderful temperament.

2. ELMS’ NOYNAROCK SOLAMAN. (67 31a) 02/05/08.

Blue and White Norwegian Forest Cat male of good type with a good length body, strong bone, long tail and good muscle. His head profile is not perfectly straight but he has a very strong chin, a lovely ear set, level bite, large expressive green eyes and is in very good condition. His coat is a good length with nice mid to dark blue and clean white and it had a woolly undercoat with a longer overcoat.

Female:

1. HARDWICK’S LINNEL AUTUMN BREEZE, (64 41dw) 18/03/08.

Lovely Red Tabby and White Maine Coon of good size and shape with a good length tail. She had a fair wedge to her head with amber eyes, a level bite, an excellent ear set with lovely furnishings, a slight dip to her profile. Good length coat of the correct texture and showing lovely rich colours and clean white. Excellent temperament. 2. FELTHAM’S MONTANTE ORCHID. (66) 25/04/08. Seal Colourpoint Ragdoll of good type with a nice body shape, long tail and a good profile to her head. Her large eyes were an outstanding blue colour. Silky coat, dense and of good length with some body shading but deep rich seal points. A really gentle cat to handle.

AC SLH Debutante Kitten, Male:

1. STEELE’S DAIRYMAINE DEXTER. (64 41dw) 16/04/08.

Red Tabby and White Maine Coon of lovely type. A really big strong boy with lovely bone and a good tail length. Nice head shape with good ears, large eyes and a level bite. Good length coat with a nice texture and a nice distribution of colour.

2. KIRK & JAHASZ’S NOYNAROCK ATHOS. (67 31t) 02/06/08.

Brown Tabby and White Norwegian Forest Cat of good type with a lovely body shape, strong bone and a long tail. He had a long head with a straight profile, large eyes and a level bite. His coat was showing a good undercoat with a smooth overcoat.

3. SAYE’S ESAYA BECKHAM. (82 20) 20/07/08.

Brown Tabby Siberian.

AC SLH Radius Kitten:

1. LAZENBY’S NOYNAROCK BIRGITTA. (67 31s) 22/05/08.

Black Smoke and White Norwegian Forest Cat female of good type with strong bone, large two-tone eyes, a very slight dip in her profile and good ear set. She had an excellent coat texture of a colour that showed nice black smoke colouring. Excellent temperament.

2. WILSON’S MONTANTE PRADA. (66) 17/03/08.

Really big Seal Colourpoint Ragdoll male with a lovely temperament. He had a nice body shape with very strong bone and a tail length in proportion. He had a good length head with nicely placed ears. His coat texture was silky and dense with a nice ruff.

3. LAZENBY’S NOYNAROCK PARYA. (67 31t) 02/06/08.

Brown Tabby and White Norwegian Forest Cat, female.

AC SLH Breeders Neuter:

1. HOUGH’S PR LAVAINA SUNBEAM. (13c1) 01/05/07

Seal Birman male of excellent type with a lovely body shape and a nice head. He had really deep blue eyes. His coat was silky and long with a ruff and his mask, ears, tail and leg colour was a matching dark brown. His gloves and gauntlets were matching. Wonderful temperament.

2. JONES’ PR KADACOON GIZMO. (64 43dsw) 25/10/06.

Red Silver Shaded and White Maine Coon male who ran the winner close on the day. Lovely type to his head and body with a good length coat.

3. DOBSON’S CH MAYSULA PANDJARA. (67 31t) 28/07/04.

Female Brown Tabby and White Norwegian Forest Cat. I would have preferred more length to her body and she had a very slight pinch to her cheeks. Otherwise a nice exhibit.
