THE CAPITAL LONGHAIR CAT CLUB, 9TH JANUARY, 2010

My thanks go to Sally Tokens and the committee of the Capital for their kind invitation to judge. Thanks also to John Blore for his expert care and attention both to the exhibits and me. Here’s to the next time.

AC PERSIAN SELF CHAMPION MALE

1GRC EDIKER, CH LAZANE CLASSIQUE, Orange Eyed White (2a)

Stunning cobby white male. Bonnet top of head ideal setting for the wee ears. Wonderful broad forehead. Eyes of deep copper, shape and size superb. Good bite. Snub nose, full cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Coat to die for. Cloud on legs. Beautifully prepared and a credit to owner.

RGR. HUDSON, CH SLINKYPAWS VALENTINO,

Blue Eyed White Exotic Lacking sparkle, needed more attention to preparation. Good broad head, nicely rounded tips to ears which followed contours of head. Eyes round and good colour blue. Short broad nose with break. Fat cheeks, full muzzle and strong chin. Level bite. Muscular body supported by thick strong legs. Coat dense, plush and standing well away from body

1 GRC BANGS, CH LAFREBELLA JOY,

Orange-Eyed White Absolutely stunning. Cloud on legs. Groomed to the last hair. Bonnet top of head, ideal setting for the tiny ears. Amazing for size, shape and colour. Level bite. Short broad nose. Full cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Coat to die for. Cobby body supported by chunky legs. Full tail. My nomination for

B.I.S. TORTIE/CHOCOLATE TORTIE AND WHITE 1CC &.BOB. ANGUS, PALCHINNO BLOSSOM,

Dominant Tortoiseshell & White Lovely round head, neat ears set on bonnet top. Eye colour superb as are the shape and size. Fully balanced head. Bite a smidge undershot. Coat pattern excellent with maximum expression of white. Grand body weight and conformation. Short fat legs.

BLUE/LILAC TORTIE AND WHITE

1CWH BUCK, PALCHINNO ANASTASIA,

Dilute Tortoiseshell & White Very badly presented. Having spoken with the owner, who is a novice; this will be remedied in the future. Good type. Eyes good size, shape and colour. Short broad nose. Bite a smidge undershot. Coat greasy and not in show condition.

BLUE-CREAM KITTEN

1ST & BOB WYLDE, CLEOCATH MORGANA

Lovely baby. Coat pastel colours, well intermingled. Type good. Eye shape, size and colour good. Scissor bite. Head yet to balance. More attention to grooming needed. Appreciate that this is a difficult coat. Good bodyweight and conformation.

1ST LEES, CH SHEERBLISS GIFTWRAPPED, Silver Spotted Tabby Exotic (70 30s)

Lovely boy! Rather difficult to handle. Beautiful strong head, ears somewhat large and open at base. Eye colour, size and shape excellent (copper). Short broad nose with stop. Fat cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. “M” on forehead, lines from eyes and down back of head. Could not assess coat pattern properly due to his dislike of being handled. Spotted tummy. Bars on legs and rings on tail. Muscular body supported by strong thick legs.

2ND HUDSON, GEMKIN AMADEUS, Orange Eyed White (2a)

White of good type. Eye colour pale but at six years plus, one would expect it to have faded a little. Needing more TLC on face and coat, which was full. Neat ears. Broad top of head. Scissor bite. Chunky legs supporting a massive body.

1ST CAIRNS, HADFIELDS EYESGOT THE LOOK, Cream Spotted Tabby Exotic (70 3O 8F) 26.07.2009

Lovely head, ears following contours, tips nicely rounded. Large, bold round eyes of excellent copper colour. Short broad nose with break. Ample cheeks, strong muzzle and chin. Level bite. Strong neck and thick shoulders. Spectacles in evidence also “M” on forehead. Lines appearing at corner of eyes and back of head. Necklaces apparent. Spots on tummy. Muscular body developing. Strong thick legs. Pleasing shade of cream. Coat texture good, dense, plush and standing away from body.

AC NOVICE

1ST ANGUS, PALCHINNO PEACHES, Dominant Tortie Tabby & White (12a6t)

Lovely baby with good type. Eye colour coming in well. Wee nose, full cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Scissor bite. Coat presented to perfection. Coat colours well defined as is the tail. Lovely body weight supported by chunky legs.

2nd WYLDE, CLEOCATH MORGANA, Blue-Cream (13)

3rd ROBERTS, ALASKAN DUET, Odd-Eyed White (2b)

AC MALE

1st ABBOTT, PR TAMOSAH FIREFLY, Pewter (53)

Grand type. Bold round eyes of deep copper. Short broad nose. Full cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Level bite. Coat grand, pewter mantle over soft grey undercoat. Beautifully presented. Fully furnished tail. Good bodyweight and conformation.

2nd WILLIAMS, RIASCATZ SIMPLY RED, Red & White Bi-Colour (12a5)

Red and White Bi-colour of grand type. Bold round eyes of deep copper. Short broad nose. Full cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Coat pattern excellent, 5O% to 5O% distribution. Large frame on short strong legs. Fully furnished tail.

3rd LEES, SHEERBLISS OHSO THEO, Cream & White Bi-colour Exotic (70 12a7)

Cream and white bi-colour exotic. Superb head, small rounded ears, following the contours of the head.

AC JUNIOR MALE

1st PEACHEY, CITOXE WILLOUGHBY, Brown Tabby Exotic (70 8)

Brown tabby exotic that for me has the lot! Grand type. Round head with small ears which are nicely rounded at the tips. Bold round eyes of deep copper. Fat cheeks, full muzzle and strong chin. Level bite. Thick neck on broad shoulders. Coat pattern excellent. “M” on forehead, lines from corner of eyes and over back of head. Spectacles in evidence. Great necklaces butterfly and oysters. Good bodyweight and conformation. Muscular tones on short strong legs.

2nd WILLIAMS, RIASCATZ TUXEDO, Black & White Bi-colour (12a1)

Black & White Bi-colour with max expression of black. White symmetrical markings on face, white frill and tummy, paws also white. Dripping in coat. Good type. Good top of head, ears neat and well placed. Eye shape and colour good. Good bite. Good bodyweight and conformation.
