THE COLOURPOINT SOCIETY OF GREAT BRTIAIN, 30TH OCTOBER, 2010

My thanks go to Kathy and the committee of the Colourpoint for their kind invitation to judge. Thanks also to Julie Colin for her care and attention both to the exhibits and me.

GRAND CHAMPION, MALE

1 Gr. Champion. D’Abate Champion Johnnycake Daytona Beach.

What a way to start my day. Absolute perfection, quality personified. Grand points, mask excellent. Eye shape, size and colour outstanding. The most beautifully balanced head with the neatest of ears. Wonderful expression. Coat groomed to perfection so lovely to see. Grand bodyweight and conformation. Well furnished tail.

Res Grand. Brown and Motti Champion Denspurr Yuri Tonka.

Lilac point of superb type. Huge Persian head with neat ears well placed. Huge eyes could be deeper in colour. Snub nose with good facial balance. Coat good colour and beautifully prepared. Mask and points excellent. Good bodyweight on thick strong legs.

GRAND PREMIER FEMALE

1 Pr. Emery Ch & Gr. Pr. Brensham Honeysucklemoon

Lovely tortie point. Grand type with an expression to “die for”. Stunning eye colour. Great facial balance. Neat well placed ears. Full coat, well presented. A little seasonal shading evident. Points and mask good. Bodyweight a little light.

TABBY COLOURPOINT MALE ADULT

1 CC Knight Trouillord Look at me. Red Tabby Colourpoint.

Good type. Eyes slightly almond in shape but good colour and size. Short broad nose. Full cheeks, firm muzzle and chin. “M” evident on fore head. Mask good as are the spotted whisker pads. Thumb prints on ears. Full coat, well prepared but lacking tabby markings. Good body weight and condition.

Outstanding kitten, head balance great. Eye shape and size good, colour coming in well. Snub nose. Full cheeks, firm muzzle and strong chin. Beautifully prepared. Good bodyweight and condition. Charming young man.

LILAC OR CREAM POINT KITTEN. FEMALE 6-9 MONTHS

Cream point with a well balanced head. Tufted ears, well set. Bold round eyes, colour coming in well. Snub nose. Good bite. Lovely body coat, expertly presented. Points and mask good. Good bodyweight and conformation.

Lovely tortie point, very pretty, showing all the attributes colour wise. Mask and points excellent. Eyes good for size, shape and colour coming in well. Head well balanced. Acceptable bite. Good body coat. Good weight.

Tortie Point, lacks head and facial balance. Ear set good. Points and mask excellent. Body coat very good. Eyes slightly almond in shape but good colour. Good bodyweight and conformation.

Blue-cream point absolutely stunning. Got the lot. Bonnet top of head, ideal setting for the wee ears. Points and mask excellent. Wonderful facial balance. Snub nose. Full coat, glacial white. Beautifully presented. Excellent bodyweight and conformation.

Blue Tabby who has left his coat behind today. Lovely type. Huge bold round eyes, colour could be deeper. Good colour to coat. Sporting “M” and spectacles, plus spotted whisker pads. Good weight and body conformation supported by fat chunky legs

Red colourpointed Exotic. Mask and points good. Eye shape, size and colour excellent. Teething, so muzzle a little pinched. Points rich red with apricot-white body coat. Head round with small round tipped ears. Large full round eyes, good colour set well apart. Short broad nose of even width with stop. Strong chin and full muzzle. Short thick neck on broad shoulders. Coat Dense, plush, soft in texture.

2 Brown and Motti Bronti Millie D’amore

Blue-cream tabby of good type. Mask and points good. Cobby shape on short fat legs. Head type good. Eyes good for shape, size and colour. Snub nose, full cheeks, firm muzzle and ample chin. Good bodyweight and conformation.

Red-point with stunning eye colour, especially so at 7 years of age. Superb type coupled with a lovely expression. Points and mask good. Body coat good and beautifully presented. Great bodyweight and conformation.
