My thanks to Mark, Lesley, Samantha & the committee for inviting me to judge at the show. I had some super cats & a very enjoyable day. Thanks to Ross Davies for stewarding for me; he was good company and handled the cats well.

AC BURMESE GRAND PREMIER, MALE

GCC GR PR MAINMAN LEONARDO 27 MN 6/4/07

Laid back friendly lad of almost 3 years. Gently rounded top of head has good width between ears of good size, shape and set. Short, wide, well balanced wedge tapers to blunt muzzle. Expressive chartreuse eyes with slight green rim are of good size shape & set, although he is rounding them just a little when out of the pen. Muscular boy of good size with strong proportionate limbs, tail is just a little thick in shape & short to balance. Rich brown coat is short and close lying, in good condition. A very nice boy.

RES GR PR MILLGILL PANDEMONIUM 27 MN 12/7/04

Nice lad of 5, with a super temperament. Fairly short wide balanced wedge, tapering to blunt muzzle. Ears are of good size, set and shape, with good width between them to gently rounded top of head. Expressive chartreuse eyes of good size, shape & set. Muscular boy of good size, and tail of correct length to balance, just a little thick at the base. Short, dense coat of rich brown, in good condition.

1. RIDDLE’S CH & GR PR PEGAVI SERAFINA 27E FN 16/4/01

Lovely girl of almost 9, what a sweetheart! Gently rounded top of head has good width between ears of good size, shape & set. Short wide well balanced wedge, tapering to blunt muzzle. Large lustrous chartreuse eyes, and a typical naughty tortie expression!! In profile, gently rounded brow, good break & level chin of correct depth. Rather matronly but of good size & with good muscle tone, elegant limbs & tail of good shape, just balances, with paintbrush tip. Short dense coat of dark brown intermingled with pale red, in good condition.

2. HARDY’S CH & PR MACHIKA GEMINA 27B FN 14/6/05

Another super girl, 4 years this time. Ears of good size, shape & set have good width between gently rounded top of head. Short wide balanced wedge, tapering to blunt muzzle. Expressive pale yellow eyes, with slight green rim, of good size, shape & set. Profile shows gently rounded brow, good break, and level chin of good depth. Muscular elegant girl of good size, with elegant limbs and feet & tail of good shape & correct length to balance, with paintbrush tip. Short close lying coat of warm chocolate, in good condition, showing some contrast between points & body.

BLUE BURMESE ADULT

1. CC & BOB W/H COULTER’S CATAMARIAN MISTERBOJANGLES 27A M 3/2/06

Not a happy boy this morning, in fact very worried and accentuating a very low ear set with a domed top of head between. Fairly short wedge is pinched & narrows at jaw hinge, then tapering to blunt muzzle. Eyes of pale yellow are smaller than I would like and rather deepset. In profile, deep brow, good break, & shallow chin which recedes slightly. A small boy with reasonable muscle tone, tail of good shape, slightly short to balance. Short close lying coat of darkish blue, in fair condition, with some barring on tail & limbs. I was sorry to withhold the CC & BOB but this lad does not fit the standard.

1. CC W/H COULTER’S AYSHAZEN ROCKY BALBOA 27B M 23/5/09

Friendly and affectionate lad of just 9 months. Adequate width to rounded top of head between small rather upright ears. At present wedge is rather long and narrow, with a slight pinch, tapering to blunt muzzle. In profile, rounded brow, deep bridge, good break and level chin of good depth. Very rangy, unbalanced and adolescent at present , with long limbs & large oval paws, tail of good shape, slightly short to balance, but has slight bony excrescence at the tip. Slightly long, close lying coat of cool chocolate, in good condition, has contrast between points and body.

1. CC & BOB WILSON’S CH MAHARANI VANITYFAIR 27B F 27/7/08

Lovely girl of 18 months, with super temperament. Good width to gently rounded top of head, between ears of good size, shape & set. Short wide well balanced wedge, tapering to blunt muzzle. Expressive pale yellow eyes of good size, shape & set. In profile, gently rounded brow, good break & level chin of correct depth. Elegant muscular girl of good size with elegant proportionate limbs & tail of good shape, just slightly short to balance. Short close lying coat of pale chocolate, in good condition.

LILAC BURMESE KITTEN

Two absolute sweeties in this class.

1. BOB WARWICK JONES’ TAKAMAKA APHRODITE 27C F 11/11/09

Gently rounded top of head has good width between ears of good size, shape & set. Shot wide well balanced wedge taper to blunt muzzle. Expressive yellow eyes have good size, shape & set. Profile shows rounded brow, good break & level chin of correct depth. Muscular elegant little girl of 15 weeks, with elegant limbs & paws, & tail of good shape which is slightly short to balance. Coat is of pinky lilac, close lying & in good condition, just a little long at present.

2. STEPHENS' MILLGILL BLONDE BOMBSHELL 27C F 25/10/09

Compact kittens of 17 weeks, with short fairly wide wedge, tapering to rounded muzzle. Ears of good size shape & set with good width between gently rounded top of head. Expressive chartreuse eyes of good size, shape & set. In profile, gently rounded brow, break adequate at present, and level chin of correct depth. Elegant kitten with proportionate limbs & paws, and tail of good length, just a little whippy in shape. Close lying coat of pinky toned lilac is just a little long at present.

1. BOB BRADLEY’S SHIVARENE TUTTI FRUTTI 27H F 7/11/09

Gently rounded top of head has good width between ears of good shape & set, just a little large at present. Short wide well balanced wedge, tapering to blunt muzzle. Large expressive chartreuse eyes with slight green rim and of good size shape & set. In profile, gently rounded brow, good break & level chin of correct depth. Elegant baby of 16 weeks with proportionate limbs & paws, tail of good shape & correct length to balance. Short close lying coat of pale chocolate intermingled with pale red, in good condition. Promising kitten of super temperament.

In profile, gently rounded brow, good break, chin level but a fraction shallow. Muscular elegant girl of good size, with elegant limbs & tail of good shape, just slightly short to balance. Short close lying coat of pinky toned lilac, in good condition.

3. WARD’S COOMAKISTA BAZILLE 27 M 2/8/08

Friendly young lad of 18 months, still rather adolescent. Top of head has good width between ears of good size, shape & set. Short wedge has good width, tapering to blunt muzzle. Pale yellow eyes of good shape & set. Profile shows rounded brow, good break & level chin of correct depth. Muscular boy of good size, with proportionate limbs, tail of good shape, short to balance with slight bony excrescence at the tip. Unfortunately his coat was very greasy and he was showing evidence of stud tail.

1. GILES’ CH RAWEKE BROWN HOLLY 27 F 15/2/06

Good width to gently rounded top of head, between ears of good size, shape & set. Short wide well balanced wedge, tapering to blunt muzzle. Expressive very pale yellow eyes of good size, shape & set. In profile, gently rounded brow, good break, nose has slight bump, and level chin of good depth. Elegant muscular girl of just 4, with proportionate limbs and tail of good shape, just slightly short to balance. Short close lying coat of warm brown, with some dandruff & a few scattered white hairs. Very nice girl, not too pleased this afternoon.

2. COULTER’S CH JACOU UNIQUE ULTRAVIOLET 27J F 13/3/08

A nice girl of almost 2. Gently rounded top of head has good width between well set ears of good size & shape. Short wide balanced wedge tapers to blunt muzzle. Expressive pale yellow eyes of good size, shape & set. In profile, gently rounded brow, good break & level chin of correct depth. Big muscular girl with elegant limbs, tail of good shape, just slightly short to balance. Fairly short close lying coat of warm pinky toned lilac intermingled with cream, in good condition.

3. WILSHAW’S GR CH ROSSIKHAN CENTREFOLD 27C F 3/11/07

Nice girl of 2, not at all happy this afternoon. Ears of good size, shape & set with good width to gently rounded top of head. Fairly short, balanced wedge tapers to blunt muzzle. Expressive pale chartreuse eyes of good size, shape & set. Profile shows very flat brow, abrupt break & chin which is shallow & very firm – bite appears slightly undershot. Elegant muscular girl with elegant proportionate limbs and tail of good length to balance, just a little whippy in shape & with some shadow barring towards the tip. Pale pinky lilac coat is short, close lying & in excellent condition.

1. MOORE’S MAINMAN KISSING YOU 27B F 13/9/09

Friendly kitten of 5 months. Good width to gently rounded top of head, between ears of good shape & set which are just a little large at present. Short wide balanced wedge, tapering to blunt muzzle. Expressive pale yellow eyes with slight green rim, of good size, shape & set. Profile shows rounded brow, good break, pronounced bump to nose, & level slightly shallow chin. Muscular kitten of good size but a little lacking in substance at present. Tail is of good shape but short to balance. Short close lying coat of pale chocolate is in good condition.

Super girl of excellent temperament. Good width to gently rounded top of head between ears of good size, shape & set. Short wide well balanced wedge, tapering to blunt muzzle. Profile shows gently rounded brow, good break & level chin of correct depth. Muscular elegant girl of good size, with elegant limbs and tail of good shape & correct length to balance. Close lying coat of warm pinky toned lilac is in good condition, just a little long.

Lovely lady of 8 years, with a super temperament. Gently rounded top of head has good width between well set ears of good size & shape. Wedge has adequate width & length for balance, tapering to blunt muzzle. Expressive pale yellow eyes of good size, shape & set. In profile, flattish brow, good break & level chin of correct depth. Elegant girl of good size, with goo muscle tone & elegant proportionate limbs, & tail of good shape & correct length to balance. Short slightly blue-toned lilac coat is just a little open today.

Nice girl of super temperament. Good width to gently rounded top of head, between well set ears of good size, shape & set. Short wide balanced wedge, tapering to blunt muzzle. Expressive pale yellow eyes have slight green rim & are a little full on the lower lid. Profile shows good break & level chin of correct depth. Muscular elegant girl with elegant proportionate limbs & tail of good shape, just short to balance. Close lying coat of warm brown is in good condition, just a little long.
