I would like to thank Pat Norman, Bill Watkins and their Committee for my invitation to judge at this very busy and friendly Show. A special ‘thank you’ to Jenny Baldwin for all her support throughout a busy day.

*AC BRITISH PREMIER MALE. *

GR.PC. ACTON’S PR. IDLEBECK EENIMEENI MYNIMO. 15c. MN. 18.2.08.

What a lovely solid purring lad of 3yr. showing good British type! Round head with good breadth and depth; neat ears fitting well into head shape; round cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round friendly eyes of gold. Balanced cobby body to head size; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. A beautiful lilac coat with pinkish hue visible, short, of good density, and firm. He is the most friendly boy and so easy to handle. He was shown in good condition. I have always loved this boy since he was a kitten and it was a pleasure to justly award him a Grand today.

It is not that often that you get two Lilac boys together of such good quality. A well grown lad of two and a half years showing good British type. Round head; neat ears; balanced round cheeks to muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, short broad nose; round eyes of a golden shade. Good weight to his cobby body; well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat was short, dense, and just a little soft; the lilac had some banding and was pale to roots. He handled well and was shown in good condition.

GR.PC. LEE’S PR. SILVERCLOUD ANGEL EYES. 39. FN. 28.5.08.

An aptly named pretty Black Silver Tipped lady of two and a half years showing good British type. Balanced round head with good breadth and depth; neat ears with good space between; beautifully rounded cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes with plenty of sparkle, and of a lovely green shade, outlined in black as was her red brick nose leather. Balanced cobby body with really short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Excellent coat with good density, short and firm; black tipping, evenly distributed over her body, to a silver undercoat. Such a pretty lady who handled well and who was shown in such good condition.

A large shy Black Silver Tabby lad of two and a half years showing good British type and having a clear classical Black Silver Tabby pattern.

A very solid Black Silver Tabby lady of two and a half years showing good British type. Round head; neat ears with good space between; cheeks gently rounded to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round expressive eyes of a pale green. A substantial cobby body; broad chest; short well boned legs, with neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short, dense, and firm; black tabby markings contrasting well to silver ground colour; thumbprints on ears; ‘M’ on forehead; clear spectacles around the eyes; well defined butterfly; spine lines; clear symmetrical oysters each with pearls in the centre; good banding to legs; well ringed tail; spots on paws and abdomen. Gentle girl who handled well and who was shown in good condition. * *

*BLACK SILVER SPOTTED MALE. *

1. CC. & BOB. COOPER’S KNANCOBAN SILVERFOX. 30s. M. 9.4.10.

It is hard to believe this very solid and well grown Black Silver Spotted lad is only 10 months old. He shows good British type and balance. Good sized round head; neat ears standing a little tall; full round cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; large round eyes of pale green. Cobby body of very good size for his age; broad chest; short well boned legs, and neat paws; balanced tail.

Coat short, dense, and firm; large dense black spots contrasting well to his silver ground colour; spots well defined and broken on spine line; spots on sides of body; well ringed tail; spots on paws and abdomen. Such a lovely gentle natured young man who was shown in good condition.

*BLACK SILVER SPOTTED FEMALE. *

1. CC. KEMPSELL’S CYNDAERIN AIRGEAD-ALLEGRA. 30s. F. 30.4.09.

A striking solid Black Silver Spotted girl of one and a half years showing good British type. Round head; neat ears with good space between; round cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; Wow! What lovely green round eyes. A solid cobby body of good weight; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat of good quality; short, dense, and firm; dense clearly defined black spots to her silver ground colour; spots beautifully broken on spine line and sides of body, slightly elongate on hindquarters; well ringed tail; clear spots on paws and abdomen. Such a lovely personality, so friendly. Had she been on her own she would have had a Best of Breed.

*BI-COLOURED ADULT MALE. *

BOB. ZERILLI’S CH. WILLOWOOD CHARLIE MUGGINS. 31a. M. 17.5.09.

A mature boy of nearly 2yr. showing good British type. Head had good breadth and depth. A balanced and weighty cobby body. Excellent coat, short, of good density, and firm; white of one third to blue which is completely sound to roots.

1. CC. withheld. WILLIS’S CRYSTALMIST AMBER-LACE. 31f. M. 17.7.09.

A large lad of one and a half years. Round head with good depth and breadth; ears standing tall; cheeks rounded to muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, short broad nose; round eyes of a copper shade. A long body; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat soft and long, especially on the spine line, shorter on the sides of body; cream on back, sides of body has a particularly dark shade and unfortunately is quite unsound; white of one third on legs, chest, and abdomen; white collar with spots of cream; an attractive white blaze on nose. My reason for withholding the CC. today was owing to coat colour and its unsoundness.

*BI-COLOURED ADULT FEMALE.*

1. CC. STEELE’S STEELAWAY SUNDAY’S CHILD. 31f. F. 8.6.09.

A pretty Cream Bi-Coloured lady showing good British type of nearly 2yr. Round head; neat ears; cheeks nicely rounded to a square shaped muzzle; firm chin, level bite, short broad nose; round eyes of a beautiful copper shade. Body slightly on the long side, of good weight; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat, just a little long on the spine, shorter on sides of her body, dense and firm; of a mid-cream shade just slightly paling to roots; white of one third on chest, abdomen, and legs; white collar with a few small cream spots; cream spots on both front legs. A very gentle lady who handled well and who was shown in good condition. * *

*BLUE KITTEN MALE. *

1. LeMONNIER’S DELANDYAL OLIVER. 16. M. 15.6.10.

A very solid Blue lad of nearly 9 months, and showing good British type. Round head; ears open at the base; cheeks developing well behind the muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, short broad nose; round expressive eyes of gold. Solid weight to his cobby body; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. A good coat of mid-blue, short, firm, of good density, just paling to roots on his back; sound on sides of body. This lad has a lovely outgoing personality, and was shown in good condition.

2. WORSLEY-WARING’S SATINMIST HUDSON. 16. M. 28.8.10.

He is still a young looking lad of 5 months. Although his head is rounded it is just a little long and narrow in shape; ears standing tall; cheeks developing behind the muzzle line; level bite, firm chin, short broad nose; eyes a little on the small size at the moment of a good shade of gold. Cobby body; shot well boned legs, neat paws; balanced trail. Coat, short and dense, with some guard hairs visible, is of slightly darker shade of blue, sound to the roots. This friendly lad just needs more time to develop his potential.

*BLUE KITTEN FEMALE.*

1. BOB. POTTER’S KABENBE GOTTAHAVE FAITH. 16. F. 5.11.10.

The baby who has it all! A delightful eye-catching girl of nearly 5 months, and showing good British type. A really lovely apple-shaped head; neat ears with good space between; well rounded cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round mischievous eyes of a muddy gold. Balanced cobby body of good weight; very short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. A lovely coat, short, of very good density, and firm; still a little woolly; mid-blue in shade; completely sound to roots. Added to all this she has a delightful friendly personality who took everything in her stride and she enjoyed her time with us.

2. MILES’S LORASTON ZIPPI TOP. 16. F. 3.7.10.

What a pity this attractive girl of 7 months came up against the winner as she is a very good example of a British Blue kitten, though just at that stage when her head is slightly out of proportion to her body. Round head; ears open at the base; cheeks rounded to muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, short broad nose; round eyes of a good golden shade. Cobby body of good weight and substance; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat of mid-blue, short, dense and firm, almost sound to roots. A friendly girl who handled well and who was shown in good condition.

3. BOWMAN’S BLUEPAWS BLOU KHALI. 16. F. 23.8.10.

Quite a nervous young lady of nearly 5 months. Round head; ears standing tall; cheeks developing to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of gold. Body long and a little light in weight; medium length legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat of a darker shade of blue lacking density, short and lying flat especially on the spine line; coat pales to roots with some silver shading. A gentle girl who was much happier in her pen.

*BROWN SPOTTED KITTEN.*

1. BOB. HOLLOWAY’S PAMPURRED PANIC ATTHEDISCO. 30. F. 15.8.10.

A very pretty Brown Spotted young lady, well grown for her age of 7 months. Round head; lovely small ears; cheeks developing to a square muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a lovely copper shade. Solid cobby body; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short, of good density, a little soft in texture; dense black spots to a lovely rich copper brown ground colour, just cooling slightly to the roots. A lovely friendly lass showing very good potential.

*BLACK SILVER SPOTTED KITTEN.*

1. BOB. PANTING’S RONALDO SILVER SIMO. 30s. M. 30.9.10.

A very friendly outgoing personality to this lively Black Silver Spotted lady of nearly 4 months, who shows good British type. Round head; ears open at the base; gently rounded cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a slightly darker shade of hazel with a green rim developing from the centre. A developing cobby body; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short, dense, and firm; displaying dense black spots to a silver ground colour; spots broken on the spine line; spots elongated on the hindquarters; well ringed tail; with small spots on paws and spots on abdomen. He was a pleasure to handle. He was shown in good condition.

*AC BRITISH S. H. ASSESSMENBT ADULT, KITTEN or NEUTER.*

MERIT. HOLLOWAY’S WINDYMEADOW WATERECOLOUR. 40. 10w. F. 13.8.10.

A well grown Bi-Coloured Lilac Tortie lass of 6 month showing good British type. Apple shaped head; really small ears fitting well into head shape; well rounded cheeks to muzzle line; firm chin, level bite, short broad nose; round eyes of pale blue. A well shaped cobby body with short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Excellent texture to magnolia white coat which is short, firm, and dense; a clear mixture of lilac, cream; and red to her ears, mask, legs, and tail. The required white on chest, abdomen, legs, and feet was at first quite hard to distinguish in the hall lighting. However, it was visible on closer inspection. She has a white nose blaze. She was very easy to handle and was shown in good condition.

MERIT. WOOLFENDEN’S RYMAROSE KING CREOLE. 15. 45a. M. 11.9.10.

A very well grown lad of 5 months showing good British type. Round head; ears standing tall with good space between; cheeks developing well to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round expressive golden eyes. Good size and weight to his cobby body; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short, dense and firm; of a darker shade of blue to a bluish-fawn ground colour; distinctive ticking on body; faint tabby markings seen on sides of hindquarters; barring on legs; ringed tail. A gentle lad who was easy to handle being very alert and friendly.
