SIAMESE CAT ASSOCIATION AND ORIENTAL CAT ASSOCIATION JOINT SHOWS. 19th June, 2010. Dr BRUCE BENNETTSIAMESE CAT ASSOCIATIONA most enjoyable day, lovely cats and beautiful weather to boot. My thanks to Harry and his team for their kind invitation and to Marilynn Skulski for her companionship and hard work, throughout the day. We did so miss Lilian’s cheerful presence. SIAMESE/BALINESE GRAND PREMIER, MALE.Imp GR PC to POUNDS’ GR PR JOMESE THE JOKER. MN (32fn) 5yrs 10mths.Boy of extravagantly baroque type. Long wedge, huge flaring ears, wickedly inclined oriental eyes of blue. Arched profile, cranial commissures have baroque curliques that would suit old Vienna. Chin aligned, bite meets. Long slender neck and body, tail balances. Close lying coat shows typical flat apricot points with the contrasting body now showing gentle shading to compliment it. 2. (RES Imp GR PC Withheld) KERSEY’S GR PR MALIKASIAM WILBUR-MEWZED, MN (24c) 2yrs 9mths.Boy of pleasing type with a medium wedge on which ears are set nicely, oriental set to his blue eyes, gently curving profile, chin level, incisors scissored over but they meet. Body of medium size, limbs balance, tail needs a little more length to balance. Coat of excellent short and fine qualities, shows mid lilac points with similar shading over the hips on the contrasting body. Gentle retiring temperament, needs a little more oomph at this level. SIAMESE/BALINESE GRAND PREMIER, FEMALE.Imp GR PC to DINSDALE’S GR CH & GR PR APPLEJACK BLUEFENIX. FN (32b2) 6yrs 4mths.Lady with a very beautiful head with a strong, even wedge of mid length, beautifully balanced by proportionate ears, flared just so in line and showing excellent spacing, dreamy eyes of good oriental slant and depth of blue. Very good smooth, just convex profile, firm chin and level bite. Comfy body and limbs, tail needs a little length for balance. Close coat, blue points darker now, well broken by various shades. Body shows shading to match. Lovely, though I suspect she likes to curl up from time to time with a large box of chocs. Don’t we all. SEAL POINT MALE KITTEN, (under 6 mths)1. BoB SIMPSON’S SHERMESE ONECOOLCAT. M. (24) 5mths 0wks..A most striking kitten with a lengthy wedge, crowned by large ears flaring in good alignment, excellent depth of blue to his oriental eyes. Very good straight profile, firm chin, misaligned right lower baby canine but with the vet’expertise we decided he was in the process of shedding it horizontally, the adult replacement being already In situ and correct. Wriggly body, balancing limbs and tail. Dense seal points, super contrast to the pale cream body that has just hints of warmth to it. SEAL POINT FEMALE KITTEN (under 6 mths)1. KINGSWELL’S KINGSOWEN STOLLYSGIRL. F. (24) 15wks.Pleasing babe of good type, with a short even wedge, graced by ears of good size and appropriate flare. Profile shows the gentlest convexity, chin and bite line up. Dainty little body, limbs and tail proportionate. Soft baby coat shows seal points with typical mild kitten muddiness at present. APRICOT POINT MALE ADULT.1. CC. BoB. Imp GR CH AMYDAY SUNSPANGLED. M. (32fn) 1yr 11mths.A gorgeous head looking loftily from his pen, with just the merest touch of tolerant disdain. Superb, even wedge, broad top between large ears flared becomingly. Wonderful expression (see above) to his shapely oriental blue eyes. Aristocratic profile, a smooth convexity, chin aligned, and irregular incisors that meet. Body firm and lithe, limbs in keeping, tail balances with a bit of terminal indiscretion, his expression saying wearily ‘Oh, mention it if you must, peasant’. Soft apricot points that the hall light lent sophisticated lustre to, contrasting with the warm, off white body. BALINESE KITTEN, FEMALE.1. (BoB Withheld) PENGELLY’S TREGONY TILLY TOKE. F. (61a) 4mths 0wks.Sweet lady with a medium length, even wedge, eyes of mid blue, held a little open, ears pricked and open, and of good size. Straight profile, chin lines up, bite just meets. Neat body, balancing limbs and tail. Appealing coat texture, length developing, points however not typically blue, bound in determined fashion toward caramel, but time will tell all, pads have pinkish tinges, good pale body for contrast. LIMIT KITTEN.1. GREEN’S BELROO KINDAMAGIC. M. (24b) 7mths 0wks.Youth with a lengthy wedge on which ears are spaced and spread well, eyes of oriental shape and acceptable blue. Profile undulates gently, tiny dent below brows then little rise over the muzzle, chin lines up, bite meets, just scissored over. Long slender body and limbs and another tail with a little terminal twizzle. Coat shows mid chocolate points, contrasting sleek ivory body with slight chocolate shading. DEBUTANTE KITTEN.1. SIDNELL’S MYLYNN MARISSA. F (32c) 6mths 3wks.Lass with a dainty, even wedge head, on which ears of balanced size are well placed and flared, good blue oriental eyes. Profile almost straight, just the hint of a forehead depression that should resolve, aligned chin and bite. Points too warm for cream, apricot rather I think, with similar shading already evident on the body though plenty of contrast evident. 2. PENGELLY’S TILLY TOKE. F. (24a) 4mths 0wks.BREED 32 NON BREEDER’S NEUTER.1. ARMSTRONG’S GR CH JOHPAS RED ROUE. MN. (32a) 2yrs 8mths.Mature male of formidable size and type. Excellent, strongly boned wedge, with striking topline, large flared ears showing very good spacing, eyes of good oriental shape and depth of blue. Profile a smooth arch, well aligned chin and bite. Very long, strong body and limbs, tail to match. Coat rather long but perfectly healthy, showing clear red on mask and ears, softer shade on tail, excellent clear warm white body for contrast. 2. DINSDALE’S GR CH & GR PR APPLEJACK BLUEFENIX. FN. (32b2) 6yr 4mths.3. JANICKI’S PR SHERMESE LIFE O’RILEY. MN. (32 1) 1yr 9mths.Very stylish wedge graced by large, flaring ears and eyes of good oriental shape, deep blue tone to them. Yet another superior profile, chin and bite correct. Long, slender neck, substantial body, matching limbs and tail. Coat texture good, points show thumbprints, forehead M, single eye lines, tail rings; considerable body shading but some contrast evident. SENIOR NEUTER.1. GREEN’S Imp GR CH MAPU ALLEGRA. FN. (24n) 5yrs 7mths.An old friend, looking as good as ever as a neutered lady now, with a wonderfully even wedge on which ears of good size are set in spine tingling alignment; eye shape also very good as is colour. Smoothly arched profile, firm chin, level bite. Balanced body and limbs, tail could be just a tad longer for preference. Very well matched caramel points with very good clear off white body for contrast 2. POUNDS’ GR PR JOMESE THE JOKER. MN. (32fn) 6yrs 10mths.3. DINSDALE’S GR CH & GR PR APPLEJACK BLUEFENIX. FN. (32b2) 6yrs 4mths.X3 WATSON’S PR MALIKASIAM MALAIKA SAEEDA. FN. (24a) 2yrs 8mths.ORIENTAL CAT ASSOCIATION 19th June 2010. DR BRUCE BENNETT.My first visit to this Show and I enjoyed it immensely. Many thanks to Jane, Irene and Caroleen for their hospitality and to Marilynn whose company and efficiency were much appreciated on a busy day. ORIENTAL GRAND PREMIER, MALE.Imp GR PC to JAMES HART & JAMES’ GR PR KRISTOPHE LITTLEWILLOW. MN. (29c) 4yrs 4mths.Beautifully balanced everywhere, this lad of medium size. Super, even wedge, graced by large, ears set well upon it, with lovely oriental eyes of clearest green. Excellent straight profile, with well lined up chin and good level bite. Body firm, limbs and tail in keeping. Very good close, short coat of sound very even, mid lilac shade. Haven’t met him before I think, a pleasure to meet now. RES Imp GR PC to LOWELL’S GR PR SUSPIRIA WILLIAMBECKFORD. MN. (37k) 3yrs 1mth.Large strong boy of very good type. Wedge a very good, even equilateral triangle, balncing ears might perhaps be marginally more widely spaced for preference, well flared, oriental eyes of good green. Profile nearly straight, gentle dish from brow to nose, chin firm bite meets. Large strong body, balancing limbs, tail of good length. Coat texture good, marginally long, very good fairly even warm cinnamon shade. Also considered. LORD’S GR PR DRUDSWAY BLACK PANTHER, MN. (37) 2yrs 1mth.Boy of very good type with a striking wedge, large ears well flared upon it, eyes of good oriental shape and set, somewhat gold toned rather than clear green in the available light, very good menace to the expression (not reflected in his behaviour which was good). Profile almost straight, tiny dip beneath the brows, chin slopes away a little, bite good. Very good strongly muscled body with limbs and tail in balance. Excellent shining sound black coat. TITTERALL’S BABADAG ASIFBYMAGIC. MN. (37) 1yr 5mths.Another handsome black gent of good type with an even equilateral wedge head, dip in profile at the nasal bridge, aligned chin, irregular incisors that meet. Ears are well placed on the wedge and of proportionate size, eyes oriental and of olive green. Body, limbs and tail are in balance. Coat is quite excellent in length, texture and soundness, a gleaming jet mantle. ORIENTAL GRAND PREMIER FEMALE.Imp GR PC to LEE’S CH & UK GR PR WILLHAVETODO OUIJA BOARD. FN (37p) 4yrs 0mths.Super lady of terrific type, coat colour and quality. Described I detail only two weeks ago and just as splendid 2. (Res Imp GR PC Withheld) HUTCHINGS WILLHAVETODO IMJUSTDIVINE. FN. (43e) 2yrs 10mths.Lass of very splendid type, flashier than the winner, with a long, even wedge, enhanced by large ears set stylishly in line, oriental shape to her amber eyes with a wicked expression, rather reflected in her behaviour today. Profile shows a little dent below the brow line, chin lines up, bite good. Slender firm body, limbs and tail in keeping. Coat short and close lying sleek and smooth. Pattern rather difficult. There is considerable ticking in the warm tortie and the undercoat required for this registration is to me too under developed to fully comform. A most handsome , if mischievous, lady nonetheless. ORIENTAL FAWN FEMALE ADULT.1. (CC Withheld) ROPER’S SNOWSEAL SUNNYDELIGHT. F. (37r) 9mths 1wk.This girl is just too small as yet to compete as an adult. I understand that she was ill as a kitten and she has not yet caught up. She appears perfectly healthy with a medium length wedge, ears nicely set, oriental amber/olive eyes, the size of a 6 or 7 month kitten, almost straight profile, excellent coat texture and even sound colour. ORIENTAL CARAMEL ADULT MALE.1. (IC Withheld) HATCHETT’S NUTRISTAR IMPERELISTIC. M. (37n)3yrs 7mths.Big strong gentleman of medium type. Wedge of mid length, little pinch, needs a bit more width at its top between the ears. Eyes open, light green in colour. Profile shows a dent at the bridge, chin slopes gently, incisors meet. Body of good size, a little on the thin side especially over the lower spine. Coat a little open, even sound caramel shade. Too many little quibbles to merit the certificate today I’m sorry to say. NON-BREEDER’SORIENTAL NON-SELF ADULT.1. Imp GR CH MYLYNN MISHKA. F. (62 43s) 4yrs 0mths.Splendid lady with a very even, equilateral wedge head, excellently inclined green oriental eyes, ears of balanced size, placed well. Very good profile, firm chin and level bite. Body rather matronly, sturdy limbs, tail a little rigid at the tip. Coat at present a little short but shows texture and flow, outstanding bright silver undercoat, extending right up to the most delicate even dusting of pigment, virtually free of tabby on the body and virtually unburnished. 2. WILLIS’S LEBRETON FINDLAY. M. (48 40b) 2yrs 3mths.Huge, very imposing gentleman, with a superior, long, even wedge head, inclined oriental eyes of smoky blue shade, balancing large ears bonneted slightly on occasion. Very good straight profile, chin receding, bite level. Imposing body for size and substance, limbs abd tail in proportion. Close coat shows chocolate of pleasing warmth for the breed, plenteous white well distributed on mask, eartip, limbs, body and down underbelly as prescribed. . 3. WHISTON’S MIZZDACE GONEWITHTHEWYND.F. (48h) 3yrs 0mths.AV ORIENTAL MALE ADULT.1. TARBOX’X Imp GR CH TIJANMEEK MCLAREN. M. (37fn) 2yrs 9mths.Imposing gentleman with an even wedge, graced by large ears, set well, that he will bonnet sometimes though he can hold them nicely open when in the mood. Good oriental shape to his olive green eyes, that have the most splendidly baleful expression. Profile very good, a smooth convexity, chin aligned, no under incisors now. Strong body of length, balancing limbs and tail. Short coat shows good even flat apricot tone. AV NOVICE KITTEN.1. TARBOX’S TIJANMEEK CINNARIO. F. (37k) 4mths 0wks.Sweet little tyke with a medium length, slightly blunt wedge, ears set neatly upon it, eyes a little open with wonder, olive green in tone. Very good profile, smoothly convex, chin and bite well aligned. Balanced body and limbs, tail in keeping. Coat of good close texture, fairly sound warm, chocolaty cinnamon, faint tabby ghosting evident. AV RADIUS NEUTER.1. FINN’S PALANTIR SNOWSTRIPE MN. (48n) 2yrs 7mths.Pleasing fellow with an elegant long wedge, large ears to follow its lines, good oriental eye shape and set with amber to the green. Profile straight, chin and bite level. Long strong body, limbs and tail balancing. Close coat shows typical sludgy caramel invaded a little here and there by the bright white that is present in required proportions and correctly distributed 2. DINSDALE’S APPLEJACK VANILLA-SKY. FN. (48b) 3yrs 0mths.Lady with a shorter wedge, tiny pinch, eyes just a little rounded, good light green, ears well set. Profile nearly straight, chin and bite correct. Coat of good texture, shows predominant white with dark chocolate on the mask, saddle area and tail.
