SUFFOLK & NORFOLK CAT CLUB
15th May, 2010.
DR BRUCE BENNETT.

A large and exciting Show, themed as ‘Here comes summer’, with, in honour of this theme, some judges displaying remarkable knees beneath splashy shirts and appropriate Bermuda shorts. My thanks to Helen, Sue and Sean for their invitation to judge and gracious hospitality and to Graham Haggar for stewarding with his usual good humour and efficiency.

AC SIAMESE/BALINESE CHAMPION, MALE.

GR CC to OWEN’S GR CH ROYSTERER SNOWDANDY. M. (24c) 8.9.06.

Stunning big boy on whom I have reported several times . Very strong masculine wedge adorned by ears of good size that are well set, though he sometimes turns them just a little out when bored. Super oriental shape to his eyes with good depth of blue and languid expression. Strong, slightly curved profile, depth of muzzle, impressive canines, irregular incisors meeting. Huge strong body with limbs and tail in keeping. Coat texture good, short length, perhaps slightly thick with quite wonderful pinky grey points and totally unshaded magnolia body for contrast; exemplary. Later Best Siamese Adult; congratulations.

RES GR CC to CH MYLYNN MATINEE IDOL. M. (24b) 4.1.08.

Gentleman of mid size with a very elegant even wedge beautifully offset by large ears spaced and set in good alignment. Lovely oriental shape to his eyes of very good depth of blue. Profile virtually straight, chin lines up, very irregular incisors meet reasonably. Lithe body, matching limbs and tail. Sleek coat, mid chocolate points could be a little warmer toned, similar shading to body.

Also considered MACKENZIE-SPROAT’S CH MERESCLIFF ROLAND. M. (24k) 4.2.06..

Very attractive type to this lad who has a nicely balanced wedge, perhaps the tiniest pinch, crowned by ears widely spaced and well flared in line. Good oriental shape to his eyes, blue might be a little deeper. Good profile, just convex, no incisors now but bite looked level. Medium sized body with comparable limbs and tail; not quite in show condition however, slightly thin especially over his thigh muscles. Coat also a little out of condition, slightly long and open, good cinnamon points colour and clear body for contrast.

AC SIAMESE/BALINESE CHAMPION, FEMALE.

GR CC to COOK’S GR CH JOHPAS SABINA PURDITA. F. (32c) 9.5.08.

Lady of lovely type and strong development. Strong even wedge, beautiful spacing between her large flared ears, oriental shape and incline to her haughty mid-blue eyes. Proud, just convex profile, level chin with irregular incisors that meet acceptably. Excellent strong body, balancing limbs and tail. Close coat, pleasing soft cream to her mask and limbs, tail now heading somewhat toward apricot tones

RES GR CC to RICHARDS’ DEBIKAT GRACIE-MAE. F. (32 1) 2.4.08.

Attractive girl of very pleasing type with a very well balanced equilateral wedge, super oriental eyes of very good depth of blue and arresting expression, ears of very good size and set. Profile a smooth gentle arch, strong chin, acceptable bite. Body neat and lithe, balancing limbs and tail. Well traced mask, thumbprints, bracelets and, tail rings in good seal with sufficient contrast

Also considered. JONES’ CH SARAMESE GOODLUCKCHARM. F. (24c) 16.8.08.

Elegant, rather slight lady of good type, with a long wedge head, marginal pinch, large ears set and flared becomingly, beautiful shape to her inclined eyes, the left seeming marginally smaller than right today, medium blue. Proud gently arched profile, chin lines up, incisors meet just scissored over. Lithe body, balancing limbs and tail. Sleek coat shows mid lilac points matching well, excellent magnolia body for good contrast.

READ’S CH ADAJAN VANILLA SKYE. F. (61bt) 6.8.06.

Lovely mature lass with a shorter, even wedge on which ears that might be just a smidge larger are set and flared well, eyes of good shape and set and of attractive depth of blue. Good straight profile, firm, chin irregular incisors meet. Strong body and limbs, tail length balancing. Coat of length, texture at present a little woolly rather than showing flow, soft, faint tabby markings and very pale breaks washed in like water colour painting, good clear body for contrast.

Coat longish, but smooth lying. Light red mask with white patching, very soft points, white front paws, pale body , white and off white merging imperceptibly.
