YORKSHIRE CAT CLUB October 24 2009. Dr BRUCE BENNETT.My first visit to this grand Show and what fun it was. My thanks to Lynda and Elaine for their invitation, all their hard work and their hospitality. Great gratitude also goes to Matthew Adam who stepped in at the last moment and proved once again to be a splendidly efficient steward and great company on a very busy day. AC ORIENTAL PREMIER MALE.1. GR PC. HALLIDAY’S PR TOGHAR TERRACOTA. MN (37d) 2yrs 3mths.Very fine gentleman with a long very even wedge on which are set large very well spaced and flared ears, eyes of excellent shape and set, very good clear light green. Straight profile, level chin, bite meets. Very good long, elegant firm body, matching slender legs and paws, proportionate tail with a tiny terminal expansion. Close glossy coat of rich red shade, sound and showing only modest permitted tabby features. 2. RES GR PC. LORD’S PR DRUIDSWAY BLACK PANTHER. MN. (37) 1yr 6mths.Another elegant fellow, with a long wedge, showing a slight pinch, crowned by large ears, flared well in line; for preference there might be just a little more space between them. Good eye shape, colour olive green. Profile shows a gentle angle at the brow, chin slopes just a little, incisors meet. Firm body and limbs, tail matches. Typical black coat, beautifully sleek, sound and close lying. Also considered. NELSON’S GR PR TIDLYPOO JUSTIN TIME. MN. (38d) 3yrs 8mths.Strong mature individual with a most pleasingly even, shorter wedge, ears set well upon it, might be a little larger for preference, eye shape excellent, olive toned. Very good straight profile, chin lines up, bite meets. Big strong body, matching limbs and tail. Excellent coat texture, soft red, contrast muted so that the tabby pattern is only faintly outlined against the background on the body. AC ORIENTAL PREMIER FEMALE.1.GR PC. CH & I GR PR LEE’S WILLHAVETODO OUIJA BOARD. FN (37p) 3yrs 5mths.Patrician as ever. This lady has a very even, triangular wedge of medium length adorned by ears of good size, excellent spacing and flare, eyes of excellent oriental shape and set, clear light green with a most superior expression. Good straight profile, chin slopes gently back, untidy incisors meet. Mature, feminine body, and limbs, neat paws, balancing tail. Excellent coat texture, short, close and sleek, attractive soft caramel shade, broken by apricots of various gentle tones. 2. RES GR PC. GODARD’S PR MYLYNN SWEET-PEA. FN. (62 43s) 1yr 2mths.A very shy lady today. Wedge shorter and even sided, on which ears are well placed and nicely flared, might perhaps be a tad larger for perfection, eyes of olive shade, oriental shape and incline to them. Straight profile, level chin and bite. Well developed body and limbs, tail in keeping. Excellent profuse coat with length and flow and furnished plume, showing lovely silver undercoat about half way up the hair shafts to the substantial black shading. HAVANA KITTEN.1. BoB. SHARP-POPPLE’S DENSON-HAVENOCINN M COLLINS. F.(29) 3mths 1wk.Lovely little lass with a neat wedge crowned by ears of good size, spaced and flared in line, eyes of oriental shape and incline, muddy green at present. Profile shows a little dip at the brow, straight below this, chin and bite level. Baby body and limbs, neat little tail. Kitten textured coat, quite sound, soft mid chestnut shade. 2. FOSTER’S MINIMESE BOSSSKIP ANGEL. F. (29) 6mths 2wks.Neat lass with a short little wedge showing a tiny pinch, ears balancing, well flared, eyes rounded, super green shade. Gentle dish to her profile, chin lines up, incisors meet. Compact body and limbs, tail matching. Glossy dark chestnut shade to her almost sound coat. TORTIE NEUTER.BoB. CH & I GR PR LEE’S WILLHAVETODO OUIJA BOARD. FN (37p) 3yrs 5mths.SEAL POINT SIAMESE ADULT MALE.1. CC. UNDERHILL’S CH ADATEAM ANTEUS. M. (24) 1yr 5mths.Strong lad of sound type. Medium length, even wedge head, on which ears are very well spaced and flared, might be just a little larger for balance, shaped eyes set just slightly close, mid blue tone. Good profile, almost straight, chin lines up, bite meets. Big strong body and limbs, balanced tail. Matched seal points, evenly shaded body so contrast somewhat muted. SEAL POINT SIAMESE ADULT FEMALE. 1. CC. BoB. KNOWLSEN’S DRESTOTHRIL DOMINATRIX. F. (24) 1yr 4mths.Stylish girl with an even, feminine wedge head of length, graced by ears of excellent size and flare. Super oriental eye shape and wonderful deep cobalt blue colour. Smooth, gentle curve to her profile, chin of depth, bite meets. Lithe firm body, matching limbs and tail. Coat of good texture, seal points contrasting well with the body of a very good pale shade. 2. LLOYD’S SEIDO SHULAMITE. F. (24) 2yrs 4mths.Another very attractive lady, with an elegant wedge on which ears of size are very well spaced and flared, best topline in the class, lovely oriental eyes of good blue. Profile almost straight, chin lines up, bite shows curiously lopsided lines of incisors, and their meeting is only approximate. Neat body and limbs, tail in proportion. Seal points contrast well with the attractive warm fawn body. 3. BROCK’S KEVELS PURRSONALITY. F. (24) 1yr 10mths.Well developed girl with a medium length, even wedge, ears well set upon it and of balancing size, good oriental eye shape, blue satisfactory. Pleasing profile, smoothly aquiline, chin shows depth and bite meets. Strong body and limbs, matching tail. Smooth coat shows well matched seal points, body gently shaded to tone, good contrast evident. TABBY POINT SIAMESE ADULT MALE.1. CC. HIRST’S CH TOGHAR BY DESIGN. M. (32 3) 1yr 2wks.Handsome young male with a very good even wedge, well placed and flared ears, eyes of excellent oriental incline and good blue shade. Profile shows a gentle dish, chin lines up, lower incisors very small but bite meets. Good body and limbs, tail needs some length to balance. Coat rather long, tabby pattern in excellent rich chocolate including the tail rings, with pleasing ivory body for contrast. TABBY POINT SIAMESE FEMALE.1. CC. GRAY & JOHNSON’S CH TOGHAR MAID TOORDER. F. (32 1) 1yr 2wks.Litter sister of the above, long wedge head with large ears well spaced and flared, and similar lovely oriental incline to her eyes of good depth of blue. Gentle arch to her profile, chin firm, bite level. Firm, lengthy body and limbs, neat paws, and good tail. Points show seal tabby pattern all present and correct with broad tail rings, shady body, sufficient contrast present. 2. GRAINGER’S WANDERING THATCHERS GOLD. F. (32 3) 11mths 2wks.Girl of good type with a pleasing even wedge adorned by ears of size and flare, eyes a little open, basic shape oriental, blue good. Profile almost straight, chin aligned, bite meets. Good strong body, matching limbs, tail could be a tad longer for balance. Close coat, showing tabby points in lovely rich warm chocolate, forehead M, single eye lines, thumb prints, tail rings developing, soft leg bars, super contrast to the beautiful clear ivory body. 3. HELM’S VELVETENA MYMY MYDELILAH. F. (32 3) 1yr 8mths.Lass of good basic type with a good long even wedge, ears spaced and flared in line, eyes of almond shape, set rather deep, pupils dilated obscuring the blue. Arching profile, chin and bite level. Long slender body, limbs and tail matching. Tabby pattern in very soft chocolate, looking a little washed out. Forehead M, faint eyelines and leg bars, darker tail showing incomplete rings. Body shows a wisp of shading that makes it look faintly warm though there is plenty of contrast 4. BAUERFEIND’S GR CH SHIMILEETA ALWAYSONMYMIND. F. (32 1) 4yrs 3mths.Older lady with a lovely head, even wedge, excellent top, large ears spaced and flared in line, good oriental shape and slant to her blue eyes. Profile almost straight, chin lines up, no lower incisors. Unfortunately, she was not really in show condition, the body was noticeably thin and the spine prominent . BoB. DOUBLE’S CH REUDENZA MOONBEAM. F. (32 8) 3yrs 10mths.An impressive large strong lady, mature and well developed. Strong wedge, broad top between ears of excellent spacing and flare, excellent oriental eyes of good blue. Very good straight profile, chin slopes a little, bite meets. Strong body and limbs, good tail length. Excellent clear caramel tabby points pattern all present and correct. Some shading on the off white body, but plenty of contrast. Also considered for BoB. KNOWLSON’S CH DRESTOTHRIL DELIGHTFUL. F. (32 3) 1yr 10 mths.Lady of good type, very nice even wedge head, eyes of excellent shape and incline, blue needs just a touch more depth, ears excellent for size, spacing and flare. Good straight profile, chin and bite level. Slender body and limbs, tail matches. Tabby pattern in darker chocolate, similar shading on the body, but good contrast. APRICOT POINT SIAMESE MALE NEUTER1. PC BoB. SHORE’S EPITOME DREAMCATCHER.MN. (32fn) 1yr 3mths.Handsome fellow with a long wedge, tiny pinch, ears of size, fairly well spaced and flared in line, oriental eyes, well inclined and good blue. Profile almost straight, firm chin, good bite. Big strong body and limbs, good length tail. Coat short and close, warm apricot points with some similar body shading giving an overall glow, good contrast. 2. NELSON’S TIDDLYPOO TYPHOON TOM. MN (32fn) 1yr 6mths.Bouncing lad with a shorter, even wedge head, ears needing a bit more size for balance and he tends to bonnet a little, Eye shape basically oriental, held rather open. Profile fairly straight, chin aligned, bite not on offer. Big strong body and limbs, tail to match. Coat texture good, attractive warm apricot points, warm body shading. TORTIE POINT SIAMESE NEUTER.BoB. RYCRAFT’S GR PR DRESTOTHRIL MISSLETOE. FN. (32b1) 3yrs 4mths.Attractive girl though very timid. Long wedge, large ears well set and flared in line, eyes of good blue, rather open but this was probably I think. Profile shows a little dip at the brow, chin lines up, bite meets. Body large and strong, limbs and tail proportionate. Clear seal tortie points with breaks showing warmth, typical tortie body shading, contrast sufficient. AC ORIENTAL RADIUS ADULT.1. ARMITAGE’S GR CH CHAPELROSE OHMEOHMY. M. (37a) 1yr 11mths.Very striking blue lad of excellent type. Stylish wedge head, sporting huge ears spaced and flared, almond shaped eyes of excellent incline and superb green tone; good expression too. Profile shows a little dent at the bridge, chin slopes a little, bite meets. Long slender body making him look a little adolescent still, spidery long limbs, proportionate tail. Good coat texture, close, sound and shining, rather a dark blue shade. Very stylish. AV ORIENTAL VISITOR’S ADULT.1. CASSAR-SIMMONDS’ FIORDILISO INFIDELITY. M. (29) 9mths 1wk.Youth of good type, stylish wedge, enhanced by ears of size, spaced and flared well in line, inclined oriental eyes of clear light green. Gently angled profile, firm chin, level bite. Very good muscular young body, matching limbs, tail of length. Very good coat texture, short and close, sound, slightly dark chestnut with a real glow to it. 2. HANDLEY’S CH FLOWERDEW FREEMA. F. (37) 2yrs 4mths.Attractive lass of good type, balanced wedge, pleasing topline with large, well flared ears, excellent oriental eyes flashing fire and brimstone, green could be more intense. Profile almost straight, very strong chin, no lower incisors now. Elegant body and limbs, balancing tail. Typical shining black sound coat, a few flakes here and there. 3. SHARPE-POPPLE’S CH DENSON LADY EMMA HAMILTON. F. (29) 4yrs 4mths.AV ORIENTAL RADIUS KITTEN.1. PHILLIPS’ ASSIYA JASMINE’S LEGACY. F. (37) 4mths.Sweet tot, with a neat little wedge, graced by large flared ears well spaced upon it. Olive toned eyes, rather open at present, good profile, virtually straight, chin lines up, teething, bite looks satisfactory. Kitten body, neat limbs and tail. Excellent coat, superb shiny sound, unsullied black. AV ORIENTAL VISITOR’S KITTEN.1. SAXON’S TIJANMEEK FERRARIMEDENA. F. (38f) 4mths 3wks.Little lady with a short wedge, on which ears of size are placed marginally high, eyes of good shape, light green in colour. Arching profile, chin firm, incisors meet. Neat body, limbs and tail match. Colour changed to apricot on the day though entered in my book as cream. Soft apricot spotted pattern; spots show good clarity and contrast on flanks. Tabby mask pattern, lines run faintly over crown to nape, shoulder pattern not yet established, spine line solid as yet, ringed tail. 2. HANDLEY’S BADABAG NAUGHTY NICK. M. (37) 6mths 1wk.Typy lad with a long, even wedge, sporting large, widely flared ears, giving a good topline, olive toned eyes of good shape and set, wary expression. Good straight profile, chin lines up, incisors level. Svelte body, matching limbs and tail. Unfortunately, appeared cryptorchid today, would have been placed first otherwise. Super short close coat, excellent gleaming sound black. X2 SIMPSON’S BARBECCO ELONIA. F. (37k) 7mths.Something of a wailer. Good shorter, broad wedge head on which ears are set and flared well in line, eyes of good shape, set a little straight, olive green. Straight profile, good chin and level bite. Strong body, matching limbs and tail of very good length to balance. Coat of even, cool cinnamon, showing a few white hairs in the groin. AC SIAMESE/BALINESE DEBUTANTE ADULT.1. JOHNSON’S SULALAYA SNOWPEARL. F. (24c) 2yrs 9mths.Pleasing lass with a strong, medium length wedge head, ears that could be just a little larger, well spaced and flared, inclined eyes, held rather open till she relaxed. Profile nearly straight, chin lines up, incisors meet. Very good big, strong body, matching limbs and tail. Coat close and smooth. Excellent soft lilac shade to her points, with very good contrast to the unshaded magnolia body. 2. TOTTEN’S SHADOWSQUAD GABBANA.F. (32b2) 9mths 1dy.Just adult with a very good even wedge adorned by well placed ears; very good oriental eyes of good blue. Straight profile, chin very strong, bite not clearly seen. Body very dainty as yet, but she has time to mature, limbs and tail in keeping. Points a somewhat dark blue especially on mask, breaks on the warm side, some body shading already, but contrast sufficient. 3. GILLEN’S NIZMAR SWEET OPTIMIST. F. (24b) 10mths 2wksAC SIAMESE/BALINESE TITLED ADULT.1. MORGAN’S GR CH ASTRALBLAESE ANDROMEDA. F. (24n) 4yrs 11mths.Pleasing lass with a correct, even wedge head, excellent eyes for shape and depth of blue, ears well flared. Very good straight profile, strong chin, level bite. Dainty body, limbs and tail proportionate. Coat of excellent texture, close and smooth, well matched caramel points with very good contrast to the stunningly clear off white body. 2. MULLEN’S CH FOXYPAWS ERICSSON.M. (32fn) 1yr 5mths.Strong boy of good type, even wedge, on which large ears sit well, eyes of oriental shape, set rather straight, blue good. Profile nearly straight, chin slopes back a little, untidy incisors meet. Very good long strong body with balancing limbs and tail. Lovely warm apricot points with gentle matching shading to the softly glowing body. AC SIAMESE/BALINESE DEBUTANTE KITTEN. 1. GREEN’S SIMPLISMITTEN CARAMELOMINE. MN. (32 8) 6mths 4wks.Handsome youth with a very even wedge head, perhaps marginally narrow for preference, on which large ears are placed and flared just so, excellent oriental eyes of good blue. Very good slightly arched profile, level chin and bite just meeting. Lithe body and limbs, matching tail. Tabby pattern outlined on points with excellent clarity in a blue based caramel with excellent contrast to the clear body. 2. GREEN’S SIMPLISMITTEN SPIRISON. MN. (32 5) 6mths 4wks.Very lovely even wedge head to this youth, large well flared ears, with good breadth between, to complement it, beautiful oriental eyes of good blue. Superior arch to his profile, firm chin, level bite. Strong lithe body and limbs, balancing tail. Close coat, entered as red but appears apricot, would have been placed first otherwise, good body contrast. 3. GRAY & JOHNSON’S TSAICHIN HOODOOVOODOO. M. (24b) 4mths 2wks.AC SIAMESE/BALINESE ARISTOCRAT NEUTER.1.SHORE’S EPITOME DREAMCATCHER. MN. (32fn) 1yr 3mths.AC SIAMESE/BALINESE NEUTER NOT HAVING WON A PC.1. MILES’ SIMPLISMITTEN SUCHADARLING. FN. (32t1) 2yrs 2mths.Lass with a very well balanced equilateral wedge, large ears placed and flared well on it, excellent eye shape and blue shade. Profile straight, level chin and even bite. Firm body, balanced limbs and tail. Coat of good quality, tabby points pattern with faint tortie overlay, body showing shading but contrast evident. 2. WESTOBY’S TINTALLY WAYFARER. MN. (24) 9yrs 1wk.Huge senior citizen with gravitas in spades. Very strong even wedge head, good eyes for shape and colour, ears could perhaps be a little larger and more spaced for preference. Angled profile, level chin and bite. Huge body, limbs and tail to match. Seal points with some shading to the body, which is of very pleasing warmth of tone. X2 ROBINSON’S FLUTTERBY FROUFROU BABY. FN. (32c) 2yrs 2wks.Lady of fairly good type. Medium wedge, eyes a little large, blue could be deeper. Ears of size set nicely, profile straight, chin and bite level. Long body, limbs and tail similar. Rather warm cream points, good contrast. AC SIAMESE/BALINESE PR/GR PR/IGR PR.1. IMP GR PR MUSSON’S MEILLAND MY KINDA GUY. MN.(24) 3yrs 4mths.Very handsome individual with an excellent long even wedge, large ears set becomingly upon it, shaped oriental eyes of good blue. Profile straight, chin lines up, bite meets. Huge long strong body, limbs and tail in proportion. Close coat, dense seal points very good contrast to the warm fawn body. Most appealing chap. 2. HOCKEN’S PR EPITOME SUNDANCE.MN. (32a) 2yrs 11mths.Another very large strong neuter of very good type. Wedge even and of good length, set off by ears of good size, spaced and flaring. Almond shaped oriental eyes, set well and of good depth of blue. Straight profile, chin lines up, could be deeper, bite meets. Great strong body and limbs, matching tail. Rich red shades to his points, good contrast to the warm white body that shows attractive hints of shading. AC SIAMESE ADULT/KITTEN/NEUTER.1. HUTCHINGS MAFDET MACARTHUR. M. (32 8) 6mths.A most appealing kitten, with a super even wedge, graced by large ears set and flared beautifully in line, excellent oriental shape and incline to his eyes of good depth of blue with a most appealing mysterious expression. Profile strong and straight, chin aligned, incisors meet. Well developed body and limbs, tail proportionate. Cryptorchid at present. Lovely coat colours, matched caramel tabby points with clear unshaded body for striking contrast 2. MORGAN’S CH ASTRALBLAESE PERSEUS. M. (24n) 3yrs 5mths.Huge person of good type with an even wedge, ears placed and flared well, would prefer them a little larger for balance, eyes of good shape and colour. Strong profile, just convex, level chin and bite. Body very large and strong, limbs and tail match, tip of tail a little rigid. Matched points of caramel, good contrast to the body.
