Lancashire Cat Club Show 14th March 2009 Dr. Peter Collin Thank you to Chris, Janet and Vicky for the invite to this show. It seemed strange not to be exhibiting! I thoroughly enjoyed my day in the friendly atmosphere and had some super cats to judge- thank you to the exhibitors. Thank you also to my good friend Ally Williams for her excellent company- and underrated stewarding skills! Class 360 Brown Tortoiseshell Burmese Kitten1st and BOB Andrew’s Isajen Miss Marbles (27e) F 5.8.08A very nice start to the day with a brown tortie kitten of very good type. She had a short wedge with very good width at her cheekbones and tapering to a short and blunt muzzle. The top of her head showed good rounding and there was fairly good width between her ears which were set reasonably well apart but I would have liked them set slightly lower for preference. They were medium in size and had a broad base and rounded tips. Her eyes were moderately large and set well apart and had a well defined shape displaying a well rounded bottom line and a flatter top line angled towards her nose. They were yellow chartreuse in colour and she had a very nice Burmese expression. In profile she had good depth of head and her ears showed a slight forward tilt. Her brow was gently rounded and her nose break was strongly defined. Her nose was short and straight apart from a roll off at the very tip. It finished in the same vertical plane as her chin which was moderately deep. Her bite was correct. She was well grown and felt heavy with good muscularity.
