I thank Lorraine and Betty for the invitation to judge on a beautiful late spring day in the North. Stephen Bunce stewarded for me and showed great interest in the Siamese and oriental cats we handled, many thanks Stephen for handing the cats with great expertise.

OPEN CLASSES

AV Oriental Grand Premier Male

Imp Gr Pr HINCHCLIFFE’S GR PR JADEVYN PHARAOH (37fn) MN 12.09.03

An excellent start to the day, a stylish and elegant male neuter, straight wedge head with topline to balance. Straight, almost roman, profile few front teeth but bite looked level, firm chin. Expressive eyes, very oriental in set and shape, of pale olive green. Large ears, wide at base and very well set. Elegant neckline, very lengthy well nourished body, long legs, neat paws. Tapering tail needs an inch for balance. Short sleek coat of excellent soft sound apricot almost clear of pattern on back and flanks. Rather shy but relaxed and handled well, excellent condition and presentation.

Gr Pr PAGE’S PR BILLSTES MRBEAUJANGLES (32/5) MN 01.05.06

Handsome mature cat with a stylish almost straight wedge head and very good topline. Straight profile, neat level bite and firm chin. Expressive oriental eyes of deep brilliant blue. Large open based beautifully set ears. Long slightly plump body, long slender limbs, long tapering tail. Coat very lightly shaded still, short and fine textured with good reddish gold tabby markings. Clear thumbprints, ‘M’, single ribbons, pale leg bars, fairly well ringed tail. A purry friendly cat, very well shown and presented.

Res Gr Pr WEBSTERS’ PR NANPEMA RED RUMBA (32a) MN 14.02.08

Younger red point male neuter, not quite attaining the maturity of the winner as yet, lengthy and elegant with a medium almost even wedge head and balanced topline. Straight profile, good bite and chin. Slightly deep set eyes, oriental in set and shape, of a very good depth of blue. Large open based very well set ears. Lengthy svelte body, long legs, neat paws. Long fine tail. Coat short and close lying warm white with very light shading and super bright red gold points colour. Delightful temperament, excellent condition and comfortably presented.

Oriental Blue Adult Female

BOB to CORBY & DOLAN’S GR CH IKISHIROO KIRASH TAMASIN (37a) F 30.04.07

Feminine Oriental blue queen, not a big cat, of very good type with a medium wedge, small pinch and very good topline. Small rise between eyes on profile, bite slightly over, firm chin. Clear green eyes, oriental in set and shape. Large wide based very wel set ears. Long firm body, long legs, neat paws. Tapering tail of length to balance. Fine textured short coat well prepared and in excellent condition, fairly sound mid blue in colour. Very good to handle, comfortably presented.

Oriental Bi-Colour Kitten

1st BOB SAMPHIER’S EIREACHDAIL GEORGIABROWN (48 45) F 11.11.08

Very promising bi-colour kitten, well grown and lengthy and of very good type. Medium wedge with just a kitten pinch and very good top of head. Almost straight profile, bite just a tad over, firm chin. Eyes of a good depth of green, oriental in set and shape, held slightly full. Large open based very well set ears. Long graceful neckline, lengthy lithe body, long slender limbs, long fine tail. Excellent coat, very short and fine textured with warm brown ground and black markings. Good even double ticking with one broken necklace. White to tip of right ear, inverted V extending right up to forehead, under chin, down chest and under with just a thin line between spots on stomach. White right up around shoulders and extending up to left ears. White back paws. Overall well over the required one third white. Temperament, condition and presentation all excellent.

Tortie Point Siamese Female

BOB to BROCK’S CH KARAMUSHI TUTI FRUITY (32b1) F 04.08.07

Very beautiful queen, now fully matured since we last met, strong ‘classic’ triangular wedge head with wide topline to balance. Straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Wicked expression in deep vivid blue oriental eyes. Large ears with excellent width at base and beautifully set. Lengthy firm body, long legs, neat paws. Long fine tail. Short fine textured coat, shaded but with plenty of contrast and dark seal points all well broken with shades of mainly pale red but bright red to mask, tail and hocks. Relaxed and good to handle, very well shown and presented.

Caramel Point Siamese Male Neuter

BOB to TURVEY’S PR STYPERSON MYSTIQUE (24n) MN 07.08.06

Large strong and mature neuter of very good type, medium wedge head with minimal pinch and very good topline. Small bump on profile, good bite and chin. Oriental eyes of medium blue. Large flared well set ears. Lengthy strong body, long slender limbs. Tapering tail of length to balance. Short sleek coat, almost clear with good lilac based brownish grey caramel point colour. Well shown and presented, tense and rather difficult to handle.

MISCELLANEOUS CLASSES

AV Oriental Male

1st GIBBONS’ SAITAN SULIANINSHADES (42b) M 28.04.08

Shy gentle young male lacking masculinity at present, but he is only young. Good type with a medium slightly pinched wedge and good sized ears well set. Straight profile, neat level bite, shallow chin. Almond shaped clear green eyes slanting towards the nose. Long firm body, long slender limbs, long tapering tail. Coat slightly long, fine textured, soft chocolate brown with a clear near white undercoat pushing up to just over half the hair length. Silver showing through rather too much on mask and in patches on body and faint ghost pattern showing on flanks. Very good to handle, well shown and presented.

AC Siamese Breeders Adult Female

1st CORBY & DOLAN’S CH IKISHIROO KIA JAM (24c) F 11.10.05

Good sized mature lilac female medium wedge with rather a pronounced pinch and good to of head. Profile almost straight, bite rather untidy with teeth missing, firm chin. Oriental eyes of medium blue. Large well set ears. Long firm body, long legs, neat paws. Long tail with a small swelling (an injury?) near the base of her tail. Short close lying magnolia coat, lightly shaded with grey toned lilac points. A gentle friendly girl, very well shown & presented.

AC Debutante Male or Female

1st GIBBONS’ SHARUE BLUE NEMESIS (24a) M 03.02.04

Large blue point male, masculine and mature, medium almost straight wedge with balanced topline. Small rise between eyes on profile,good bite and chin. Expressive oriental eyes of deep brilliant blue. Large wide based very well set ears. Lengthy strong and muscular body, long legs, neat paws. Tapering tail needs an inch to balance and has a small patch of stud tail near the base. Coat rather long and a little open in places, still nearly clear with good mid blue points colour. Superb purry temperament, well shown and presented

2nd FOX’S FURRYFACE JAGER (24a) F 06.08.08

Pretty fine boned young queen who ran the winner closely, just lacking his strength and maturity at present. A relaxed and friendly youngster, wedge head with wide topline narrowing to a rather fine muzzle. Almost straight profile, good bite and chin. Eyes oriental shaped, rather straight set of good bright blue. Large wide based beautifully set ears. Lengthy fine boned body, long slender limbs, long tapering tail. Very short sleek coat, still almost clear with good soft blue points colour. Very well shown and presented.

1st BRASH’S RIVANESS MIZ PRISSY (32/2) F 10.03.08

Stylish young queen, mature and well developed for her age. Medium wedge with small pinch and large open based ears very well set. Almost straight profile, good bite and chin. Eyes oriental in set and shape although held a little full, of excellent colour. Lengthy firm body, long legs, neat paws. Long fine tail. Super coat, very short and sleek with light tonal shading and good soft blue tabby markings. Fairly clear facial tracings, pale leg bars and some full rings to tail. A shy gentle girl well shown and presented.

Seal or Blue Point Kitten

1st EVAN’S FLUTTERBY FUN TIME GAL (24) F 11.10.08

Very promising youngster, elegant and lengthy. Stylish almost even wedge head and very good topline. Profile almost straight, a little untidy but meets, firm chin. Expressive deep brilliant blue oriental eyes. Large wide based beautifully set ears. Long fine boned body, long legs, dainty paws. Whippy tail of length to balance. Super coat, very short and sleek, lightly shaded with good dense seal brown points colour. Excellent condition, presentation and temperament.

1st SAMPHIER’S BURNTHWAITES RIVERDANCE (24b) F 20.01.09

Well grown and attractive kitten with a medium wedge head, kitten pinch and very good topline. Uneven profile, neat level bite and firm chin. Oriental eyes of excellent colour. Large wide based very well set ears. Long svelte body, long slim limbs, fine tail of good length. Short fine textured coat, clear pale ivory with dark already rather cold chocolate points colour. Delightful temperament, well shown and presented.

AC Novice Kitten

1st HELM’S TILDEN TINTOFCIN (24k) F 30.01.09

Very pretty baby who would have been my next choice as BOV kitten, short strong little head with roman profile, no bottom teeth through as yet but looked level, firm chin. Deep bright blue eyes, oriental shaped, straight set at present. Large ears, wide based and very well set. Long baby body, long legs, spoon paws. Whippy tail. Clear short coat, fine in texture and with soft warm cinnamon points colour. A purry friendly kitten shown in excellent condition and comfortably presented.

2nd WEBSTERS’ SHADOWSQUAD KIERA CARAMIA (32b1) F 23.01.09

Another promising kitten, well grown and lengthy, medium wedge with kitten pinch and very good top of head. Straight profile, neat level bite, firm chin. Eyes oriental in set and shape but needing more depth to the blue. Lengthy svelte body, long legs, dainty paws. Long fine tail. Short close lying coat, some shading developing but plenty of contrast and dark seal points all well broken with shades of pale and brighter red. Excellent condition, presentation and temperament.
