A new venue and an excellent entry for this popular show. The weather was not particularly friendly but the happy atmosphere made up for it. Some excellent Siamese to judge and an excellent steward in Jane Haggar. Thank you, Jane.

IMPERIAL GR.CH.MALE:

IMP.GR.CH.REED’S GR.CH.BETHANJO RED OCTOBER(32a) 6.10.06

Well grown male of excellent type. Straight wedge with excellent top of head and large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour and indolent expression. Proud head carriage and long, muscular body of stylish type with slender legs and long tail slightly blunt at the tip. Bright red points and a warm white coat of excellent texture just slightly long on the back. Perfect show temperament.

AC SIAMESE/BALINESE PREMIER MALE:

GR.PR.SIMPSON’S GR.PR.SHERMESE TOO TOO PATOU(24a) 4.4.07

An extremely stylish young male who is hard to fault. Beautifully balanced head with straight lines to muzzle and excellent top of head and large ears. Excellent profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eyes of excellent shape and set with bright blue colour. Elegant neckline and svelte body with slim legs and long whip tail. Slightly dark blue points colour and a coat of outstanding length and texture.

RES.GR.PR.EMMEN’S PR.CHIARIKKI TRIBAL WARRIOR(32a) 10.4.05

Another stylish boy of excellent type unlucky to have, on this occasion, overwhelming opposition. Long, straight wedge with balancing width between large ears. Straight profile, untidy bite, due to loss of some teeth, but appears to be level and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Clean neckline and long muscular body of very good type with slim legs and long whip tail. Good red points and a close lying coat of excellent texture.

SEAL POINT FEMALE ADULT:

1.CC.W/H.BANT’S CH.ASPIRITOUS LUCIA 7.10.06

Very fine boned queen of good type. Good top of head and large well placed ears. Almost straight profile, untidy bite due to loss of some teeth but bite appears to be level, chin needs to be deeper but this was accentuated by the white chin. Slightly full eyes of good basic shape and set with clear blue colour which needs to be deeper. Elegant neckline and body type with slender legs and long whip tail. Dark seal points incomplete on mask, not extending to the chin area, with a beige and cream coat of excellent length and texture.

A somewhat battle scarred lady of exquisite type.

AC BALINESE FEMALE ADULT:

1.CC.BOB.READ’S ADAJAN VANILLA SKYE(61bt) 6.8.06

Very attractive queen of good growth and type. Straight balanced wedge with balancing width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin with little beard. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Good head carriage and long, well grown body with slim legs and long plumed tail which needs an extra inch and shadowy rings. Warm chocolate points showing thumb prints, M on brow and faint leg bars and bracelets. Minimal shading on an ivory coat of good length and silky texture. Lovely temperament.

CARAMEL POINT SIAMESE KITTEN FEMALE:

1.BOB.SIMPSON’S SHERMESE MERCEDES 9.4.08

Young kitten of excellent type. Straight wedge with beautiful top of head and large ears. Almost straight profile, level bite and good chin. Slightly straight set eyes of oriental shape and deep blue colour. Fragile neckline and firm little body of stylish type with slender legs and long whip tail. Blue based caramel points and a slightly shaded coat of excellent length and texture.

SEAL POINT NEUTER MALE:

1.PR.ABBOTT’S CHENAZZ BEHINDBLUE EYES 12.4.07

Slightly immature youngster of excellent type. Long, marginally narrow, head with good width between large ears. Almost straight profile, pinch to muzzle, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Well defined neckline and long, svelte body of good muscle tone, slender legs and long whip tail. Warm seal points showing excellent contrast with a cream and beige coat of excellent length and texture.

BOB.MUSSON’S GR.PR.MEILLAND MY KINDA GUY 29.6.06

Impressive boy of overall excellent type and the best seal point colour I’ve seen for many years. Excellent top of head and large ears. Straight profile, pinch to muzzle, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with colour which could be deeper for perfection. Long, muscular body, slim legs and long whip tail. Excellent coat which was smooth, short and close lying.

CREAM POINT MALE NEUTER:

1.PR.BOB.EMMENS’ JOHPAS JACK SPARROW 5.9.07

Striking youngster of excellent type. Straight wedge with balancing width between large ears. Small bump on nose, my only criticism, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deepest blue colour. Elegant head carriage and body of stylish type with deceptive weight and muscle tone. Slender legs and long whip tail. Clear coat of outstanding length and texture and soft cream points colour. Excellent temperament.

Fine type overall and a somewhat uncertain temper. Straight, balanced wedge head with balancing width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Excellent oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Long firm body, slim legs and long whip tail. Lilac points and some shading on a coat of excellent length and texture.

3.TURNER’S APPLEJACK SUMMERHEAT(32fn) M 27.2.07

AC SIAMESE/BALINESE BREEDER’S MALE KITTEN:

1.PUTLAND’S ANDALYN SIROCCO(24a) 26.3.08

This kitten, seen in the pen, was enough to knock your socks off. However things were not quite as they seemed to be. Exquisite type with a straight balanced wedge and excellent top of head with large ears. Straight profile, undershot bite and firm chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Fine type overall with firm body, slender legs and long whip tail with a small kink. Points which I suspect will become blue based caramel but at present are a dark gun metal blue. Coat which was short and close lying. Appears to be a monorchid at present.

AC SIAMESE BREEDER’S FEMALE KITTEN:

1.RICHARD’S DEBIKAT GRACIE-MAE(32/1) 2.4.08

Just four months old and full of beans. Stylish type overall with a straight, balanced head and good width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Delicate neckline and firm little body with dainty legs and well ringed whip tail. Seal markings all well defined with M on brow, thumb prints, faint leg bars and bracelets and a clear coat of good length and texture.

2.BOWLES-GOWDY’S MAFDET ROSE ROYCE(32/1) 8.11.07

Almost an adult and looking lovely when relaxed. Strong, straight wedge with good width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eyes of good basic shape and set but appeared full when she was agitated however, the deep blue colour went some way to mitigating this fault. Firm, muscular body of excellent growth with slender legs and long well ringed whip tail. All tabby markings markings well defined and a ticked coat of good length and texture.

3.PUTLAND’S ANDALYN CALYPSO(24) 26.3.08

Young kitten of excellent type and very good colour. Unfortunately let down by pale eye colour which, ideally, should be almost violet in a seal point.
