JUDGES REPORT –MRS CELIA DE MARTINOMy thanks to Audrey and her team for their kind invitation to judge here again. I had a lovely day at this friendly show and handled some lovely cats. John Blore, my steward, was as always a tower of strength, looking after the cats and me expertly. Thank you John.
EXOTIC TABBY OR TABBY AN WHITE KITTEN
1 & BOB HARRINGTON & HARDIE’S NOBOO DISCO INFERNO.
A gorgeous red tabby girl just over 5 months old. Good width between well placed ears of medium size, furnished and rounded at tip. Round fairly bold muddy eyes showing promise of good copper colour to come. Short broad nose with deep stop, good bite and firm chin. Rounded smooth skull, head showing good balance. Cobby rounded frame, good size and weight for age, sturdy legs showing bracelets and fairly short thick ringed tail. Well prepared soft silky fairly dense standaway coat. Excellent clear classic tabby markings on pale red background. M to forehead, spectacles around eyes, lines coming from outer eye. Butterfly over shoulders, oysters to flanks, necklaces to chest. A striking girl. Excellent temperament and condition.
TORTIE OR CHOCOLATE TORTIE & WHITE NEUTER
1PC & BOB PETTIT’S RIASCATZ LARA CROFT.
A well grown well prepared tortie and white lass. Long soft silky white coat with bright tortie colours of black and shades of red to her tail. The coloured patches to back could do with some black in them. Tortie colours to top of face separated by white blaze. Good width between well placed furnished ears, held a touch proud and slightly open at base. Round fairly bold orange eyes, short nose with stop, pink nose leather, full cheeks, good bite and firm chin. Cobby rounded frame, short sturdy legs and medium length tail in proportion to body. Excellent temperament and condition.

1CC & BOB JOHNSON’S AKDAMAR TAZI.
A beautiful odd eyed lad, only just over 9 months old,with well prepared sparkling chalkey white coat of good length and texture. Excellent deep auburn tail in proportion to body and two auburn vertical patches to top of head by base of ears, separated by white. Good width between well placed furnished ears, rounded at tip, lovely shell pink inside. Eyes well set, the blue eye a good shade, the amber eye still developing in colour, alert expression. Nose of medium length with barely perceptible dip in profile, lovely pink nose leather, full cheeks, good bite and firm chin. Good weighty muscular frame for age, sturdy legs with rounded paws. Excellent temperament and condition.
2 BAKER’S GR CH ALANTRIS DANNYS BOY.
Another lovely lad, a real timewaster, excellent temperament padding all the time. Really loves his shows. I have seen this lad before but today his well prepared coat was not the sparkling chalkey white it usually is. Auburn tail in proportion to body and vertical auburn patches to top of head at base of ear. Nice shaped head showing good width between well placed furnished ears, rounded at tip and shell pink inside. Nose showing barely perceptible dip in profile, lovely pink nose leather, good bite and fairly firm chin. Eyes well set showing a good shade of amber. Spot of colour to cheek and also a patch of short hair which detracts from his beauty. Strong muscular body, sturdy legs of medium size, with rounded paws. Excellent temperament and condition.

Another odd eyed Turkish Van, unusual to see one odd eyed let alone two at a show! A lovely girl who still has some growing to do being only 11 months old. Well set eyes, will have excellent eye colour, the blue eye still changing, two tone today, the amber one looking good. Well placed ears with furnishings, rounded at tip and showing shell pink inside. Nose showing barely perceptible dip in profile, good bite and firm chin. Muscular frame with sturdy legs of medium length, paws rounded, auburn tail in proportion to body. Well prepared chalkey white coat, silky. Auburn vertical patches to top of head around base of ears separated by white. Colour goes slightly up one ear. Excellent temperament and condition.

A lovely seal mitted boy just over 7 months old and well grown for age. Well prepared soft silky beige coat showing good seal mask with white chin, even white mittens to front paws, white to back paws and lower legs, seal brown from hocks going up his legs just about acceptable. Coat showing minimal shading and contrasting well with the seal brown. Chin chest and underbody white. Good width and flat plane between well placed furnished ears, slightly forward facing and rounded at tip. Well placed deep blue eyes, slightly oblique in shape. Nose of medium length showing gentle dip in profile and slightly retrousse at end. Good bite and fairly firm chin. Sturdy frame with strong legs, paws rounded and good length tail of seal brown in proportion to body. Excellent temperament and condition.

A beautiful tortie and white girl showing excellent distribution of black and shades of red in her well prepared long soft silky coat. Colour and white to all limbs, white tummy, white to cheeks and white whisker pads. Excellent width between well placed furnished ears, short nose with deep stop, full cheeks, good bite and firm chin. Round bold deep orange eyes. Cobby rounded frame, short sturdy legs and short full tail. Excellent condition and temperament.

A huge red and white lad with excellent deep orange eyes would prefer bolder for perfection. Excellent top of head, well placed furnished ears, short nose with stop, full cheeks, good bite and firm chin. Cobby rounded frame, short sturdy legs and tail in proportion to body. Well prepared soft silky coat. Red showing minimal shading. White to cheeks and whisker pads, white blaze to nose. Tummy white and patch to back. Excellent temperament and condition.

1 PERCIVAL’S GR CH BLUEGEMS TEDDIE BEAR.
He’s gorgeous, he’s got the lot. A seal bi colour lad with well prepared soft silky coat of dark beige with some white spots. All legs white except for a spot of colour on a hind leg. Gorgeous seal brown to ears and top of face. The colour on his face is separated by white coming from an inverted V to forehead covering his nose, whisker pads, chin, chest and tummy. Excellent width and flat plane between well placed ears, slightly forward facing, rounded at tip, with furnishings. Nose of medium length showing gentle dip in profile, retrousse at tip ,level bite, firm chin and excellent well placed eyes of deep blue, slightly oblique in set. Strong muscular body, sturdy legs with rounded paws and lovely full seal brown tail in proportion. Excellent temperament and condition.

A blue bi colour lad with excellent width and flat plane between well placed furnished ears, rounded at tip and slightly forward facing, well set eyes of mid blue ,nose of medium length showing gentle dip in profile, retrousse at tip, level bite and firm chin. Large muscular body with strong sturdy legs, rounded paws and long blue tail. Well prepared soft silky pale beige coat showing minimal shading. Blue to ears and top of face with white coming from inverted V on forehead covering nose whisker pads, chin chest and tummy. White legs. Excellent temperament and condition.

Excellent deep blue expressive eyes, well set and slightly oblique in shape. Good bite and firm chin. Strong muscular body of good weight and size for age. Sturdy legs with rounded paws and lovely long blue tail. Excellent temperament and condition.

A seal mitted girl with good width and flat plane between well placed furnished ears, rounded at tip, slightly forward facing and a touch on the large size, prefer slightly smaller for a good overall balance. Nose of medium length with gentle dip in profile, retrousse at tip, good bite and firm white chin. Eyes well placed slightly oblique in shape and 2 tone blue today, still a youngster 11 months old so still changing. Sturdy muscular body, strong legs with rounded paws, seal brown tail reaching shoulders. Well prepared soft silky beige coat with some shading. Good seal mask, even white mittens to front paws contrasting well with her seal brown legs. Back legs white. Excellent temperament and condition

A brown tabby Norwegian forest lad just over 3 months old. Well prepared soft silky coat showing excellent black mackerel tabby markings on warm brown background. Lovely shaped head with large well placed ears, tufted and furnished. Straight nose, lovely well placed copper eyes, good bite and firm chin. Still a lot of growing to do but good size and weight for age. Strong muscular body, sturdy legs and long full tail Excellent temperament and condition. A striking lad.

A red pointed birman lad, just over 5 months old and well grown for age. Well prepared soft silky very pale beige coat with minimal shading, red mask and points developing. White back gauntlets very clear, against the red, front gloves even. Well placed furnished red ears of medium size, lovely blue almost round eyes, well set, nose of medium length, rose pink nose leather, good bite, slightly receding chin. Good body size and shape, sturdy legs and medium red tail in proportion to body. excellent temperament and condition.

Lives up to his name a real live wire, only 4 legs but seemed as though you were handling an octopus He’s a sphinx look a like, very friendly, very wrinkly with a long whip like tail. Lovely little face with expressive eyes. Long legs and a slinky body of good weight. Excwellent temperament and condition.

Gave this girl the first as she was the only cat with long hair in the class and it takes a lot of time and patience to groom a coat like this She is a semi longhair ragdoll lass with a dense coat, the white was sparkling, and the hairs of her soft silky coat were well separated. Lovely blue eyes, clear and bright.
2 BARKER’S EBONY.
As her name suggest a glossy black male only 14 weeks old and very friendly. It is hard to keep a black in show condition. They can go rusty if out in the sun too long. This lads well groomed coat was black to the roots and another mark in his favour his claws had been clipped. Well done.
