Eastern Counties Cat Club – 7th. August 2010 Mrs Barbara McEwenMany thanks to Audrey and Les for the invitation to judge at this show. Thanks to my husband Stuart for coming along to steward for me, we had a lovely day with so many wonderful household pets, who were all in lovely condition and most were very friendly. Class 886a AC Non-PedigreeGrand Master Cat Male GM Richard’s IGMC KEVIN THEKOUNTRYKATa large handsome boy, 3yrs 11months old. His coat colour was a beautiful rich chestnut red and his bib and socks were a sparkling white. When we arrived he was snuggled up in his bed, then he decided to come and greet us, for a fuss. He has the most laid back character and I loved his beautiful eyes. Shown in excellent condition. Very worthy winner. Class 886b AC Non-Pedigree Grand Master Cat FemaleA lovely class of 4 girls, which made my decision very difficult. GM Tolhurst’s GMC HEIDIa lovely 7yr 6month old tortie & white lady. Her markings and colouring are very pretty, with all her white parts being pristine. She was a bit unsure at first (I think she was still half asleep), but soon came out onto the table to be examined. She looks like she enjoys her food and has a wonderful temperament. Well shown in excellent condition. RES Brown’s MC MATILDAa nice 3yr 3month old shorthair blue girl with a lovely sleek coat, which was well groomed. She had lovely round bold hazel eyes, which contrasted well with her coat. She had a good temperament and was shown in excellent condition. Sadly Unplaced Macoy’s MC SNOW DROP - a lovely pure white girl 3years old. She was a solidly built young lady with a lovely temperament, wanting a lot of fuss. She was very well prepared, her short dense coat being pristine white and wonderful green eyes. Millett’s MC SPICE – a black & white lady who was in very good condition for her 14 years. She was quite sleepy when we got to her, her coat was glossy and her white parts were snow white. When we had finished judging her, she went back to her forty winks under her blanket. A lovely girl.
