EASTERN COUNTIES CAT SOCIETY SHOW – 7.8.10 MRS SALLY TOKENS

My grateful thanks to Audrey, Les and all the team for another very nice day and a lay in as well as only just up the road, no early start, so can not be bad. Thank you to Barbara Davidson for coming along to steward for me, we had a very enjoyable day.

SLH GRAND CHAMPION ADULT MALE;

IMP GR CC; Hamilton GR CH LADYDOLL STUDMUFFIN

blue bi colour ragdoll lad of just over two years old. A super lad with a very strong powerful head and excellent bone and weight. Medium size ears which are well set and slightly tilt forward. Cheeks full and nicely formed muzzle. Eyes with a slightly oblique shape and medium blue colouring. Profile with a gentle dip. Level bite. Coat a little short today but of a wonderful silken texture. Symmetrically marked inverted v to the face. White to the legs and under parts. Tail sparsely covered but balances with the body.

RES IMP GR CC; Blades GR CH BIG-HANNIBAL’S DARK DEVIL

black and white maine coon lad of just over two years old. Another enormous lad of super quality and it was an extremely tough decision between these two lads. Superb temperament and a real sweetie. Large ears which are set quite high with a good width apart. Cheeks having high set cheek bones and fairly full. Eyes of a slightly oblique aperture and set and green colour. Slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Square muzzle and a level bite. Jet black coat with a lovely gloss and just lacking in the depth of undercoat today. Soft texture to the top coat. Tail with profuse and flowing fur reaching the shoulders. Large tufted feet. White chevron to the face, feet and tummy.

SLH GRAND CHAMPION ADULT FEMALE;

IMP GR CC; Hines GR CH STACYM QUINTESSENCE

usual Somali of just over four years old. Wonderful warm apricot colour which was very striking and pleasing to the eye. Moderate broad wedge. Well positioned ears of a good size which were broad at the base with very good furnishings. Almond shaped eyes which were obliquely set and well apart being green in colour. Slight break to the nose and a firm chin. Firm body with super bone and very good weight. Soft texture to the coat which was close lying along the spine. Very well prepared. Tail reaching the shoulders and balances with the body.

RES IMP GR CC; Stimpson GR CH COONVIVAL FIORDILIGI

red mackerel tabby and white maine coon just over four years old. White to the paws chest and tummy. Mackerel pattern to the sides with very good red markings on a good red ground colour. Excellent bone and very good weight. Well positioned ears which are large in size and set quite high with a nice width at the base, bearing nice tufts and well furnished. Cheeks fairly full and high set cheek bones. Green colouring to the eyes which were of a slightly oblique aperture and set. Medium length nose with a slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Square muzzle. Level bite. Good breadth and depth to the chin. Tail balances with the body and is nicely furnished.

CHINCHILLA ADULT;

CC withheld 1 Booth SHAKLOW MILLIE

only ten months old and I was sorry to have to withhold but unfortunately this girl is not balanced and lacking in coat. She was in need of more type as she has an extremely open face. Ears quite large in size and open at the base. Skull nicely rounded. Cheeks of a good width just a little pinched in the muzzle. Large round eyes of a nice emerald colour and outlined with black. Broad nose with a slight break. Level bite. Coat very sparse and very heavily tipped near the base of the tail.

TORTOISESHELL COLOURPOINT ADULT;

1 CC & BOB Taylor CH CONFETICAT JELLY BEAN

blue cream girl of fourteen months old. A very sturdy female with excellent strength of bone and wonderful substance. Small ears which are placed low on the side of the head. Very fat cheeks and a short broad nose with a lovely break. Level bite. Large round eyes of a nice blue colouring. Long coat to the body which has some undercoat and a silken texture. Pale blue and cream to all the points. Tail very nicely covered showing both colours.

WHITE ORANGE EYED NEUTER;

1 PC & BOB Nicholls CH & PR FLEURIELLE WHITE SUGAR

coming up to three years old. Excellent bone and very good weight. Deep orange eye colouring to well rounded eyes. Skull nicely formed. Tiny ears which are well placed. Short broad nose with a good break. Level bite. Cheeks full and round. Coat long and just a little harsh in texture to the spine. Very well groomed, clean and white. Having a limited amount of undercoat. Tail balances with the body and is nicely covered.

EXOTIC SH TABBY OR TABBY AND WHITE NEUTER MALE;

1 PC Yuille & Cairns HADFIELDS EYESGOT THELOOK

cream tabby lad just over a year old. A strong lad with a short cobby body set low on the legs. Ears well placed just a touch open at the base. Cheeks full and muzzle well formed. Eyes large and of a very good copper colour. Short broad nose with a strong break. Level bite. Some tabby markings to the sides and a few rings evident to the tail. Coat of a very good length and texture, standing away from the body. Well marked m to the forehead and lines from the corner of the eyes across the cheeks.

EXOTIC SH TABBY OR TABBY AND WHITE NEUTER FEMALE;

1 PC & BOB Smith FERRARA ELISE

red tabby girl of just over six years old. Wonderful bone and plenty of substance. Short cobby body set low on the legs. Ears just a touch open but well positioned. Cheeks nice and full. Eyes large and round showing a very good copper colour. Short broad nose with a nice stop. Level bite. Skull well formed. Very good coat length and texture, standing away from the body. Soft to touch. Lovely undercoat. Butterfly marking can just be seen. Well marked m to the forehead. Necklaces. Tail balances with the body.

NORWEGIAN FOREST KITTEN;

1 & BOB Frost ELSKENDEVENN HANNAH

silver tabby and white girl of five months old. Very well developed with a super length to the body and nice substance. Large ears which are set quite high and bearing small tufts and nicely feathered. Profile not yet equilateral just a touch short in length. Amber colouring to the eyes which were of an oval shape. Straight profile. Level bite. Fairly good chin. Coarse texture can already be felt along the spine. Some guard hairs present. White to the face, legs, chest and tummy. Very good temperament and pleasure to handle. Tail lightly covered and balances with the body.

AC BIRMAN BREEDERS ADULT FEMALE;

blue birman of six years old. Medium blue eye colour. Just looking a little prominent in the muzzle today. Some slight shading to the body coat with a small amount of undercoat.

2 McSloy CH MAGENTA THOMASINA

chocolate tabby of six years old. Good type to a well balanced head. Medium blue eye colour. Coat clear and soft in texture. Nice tabby markings, difficult choice between these two.

tortie silver classic tabby and white maine coon of fifteen months old. Nice width to the cheeks. Just in need of a little more breadth to the chin. Coat lacking in lustre today but showing silver and very good colours.

2 McHugh FELLPURRS INCA OF LEWSHAM

tortie classic tabby nd white maine coon of thirteen months old. I would prefer more of a slight concave curve at the nasal bridge. Very good coat texture showing some vibrant colours.

AC MAINE COON KITTEN;

1 Murray ISADORYOU LIGHTING BUG

tortie silver classic and white maine coon of four months old. Wonderful colours to the coat which already has a small amount of undercoat. Very nice well balanced type for a youngster.

AC PERSIAN NON BREEDERS KITTEN FEMALE;

1 Owen HEATHROSE ROMANY FYRE

red female of eight months old. Rich red coat just showing the odd tabby marking at this young age. Super strong eye colour and good type developing.

AC BIRMAN BREEDERS KITTEN MALE;

1 Bennett MUNKCHIP MISTER BEAR

blue birman of three months old. A very promising kitten with well placed ears. Cheeks filling out well and nice deep blue eye colour, I would like the eyes just a touch larger in size. Full coat with a nice undercoat and soft texture.

2 Dickerson TORMIST STARSHINE

blue tabby again four months old. Just a touch shallow in the profile at this age. Very good colouring to the eyes. All feet markings level.

AC BIRMAN BREEDERS KITTEN FEMALE;

1 Brown DALTEEMA STAR SAPHIRE

blue tabby of six months old. Nice head shape with lovely type developing. All feet markings level. Clear soft full coat. Promising kitten.

AC BIRMAN BREEDERS NEUTER MALE;

1 Bennett GR PR MUNKCHIP HUNNYBEAR

red lad of four years old. Gauntlets a touch short but equal. Slight golden hue to the body coat. Strong head with well balanced type. Very good blue colouring to the eyes.

2 Adams AREEZA STARDUST

lilac of nearly two and a half years old. Medium blue colouring to the eyes. Almost clear body coat with a good undercoat. Nice width to the cheeks and a slight dip in profile.

AC BIRMAN BREEDERS NEUTER FEMALE;

1 Bell GR PR ARCADY MOPSA

chocolate tabby who is over ten years old and looking in tip top condition for her age. Wonderful bone and weight. Very full cheeks and a good profile. All feet markings level and good tabby markings.

2 Woodman ADNIOLO AIRIEFAERIE

seal tabby of thirteen months old. Just looking a trifle pinched in the muzzle today. Some slight shading to the flanks. Well positioned ears and eyes almost round in shape and showing a medium blue colour. Strong tabby markings.
