EDINBURGH & EAST OF SCOTLAND CAT CLUB. 17th July 2010. BRUCE BENNETTMy thanks to Isabel and Denise for their invitation to take part in this enjoyable Show, and congratulations to their chef for the delicious lunch; thanks too to Margaret Anne who stepped in to steward at the last moment and navigated the day for me. TABBY POINT SIAMESE ADULT FEMALE.1. CC. BoB. BROWN’S CH FISEPO THISLEWAY AURORA. F. (32t8) 1yr 7mths.Very diffident lady of most appealing qualities. Very even, feminine wedge, large ears flaring out in alignment, super inclined oriental eyes of blue. Gently arched profile, chin lines up bite meets. Lithe medium sized body, balanced limbs and tail. Very lovely coat pattern, subtle, lilac based tabby points pattern softly overlaid by gentle apricots, excellent pale body contrasts, pale apricot shading over lower back. SEAL POINT SIAMESE KITTEN.1. BoB SHAND’S PALMIRA NADIA. F. (24) 6mths 2wks.Very self possessed little lady, smart as paint. Stylish, even wedge, adorned by large ears, well flared in line, inclined oriental eyes vith a touch of violet to the blue. Profile nearly straight, chin could be a little deeper, bite level. Strong little body, balancing limbs and tail. Seal points, faint ghost tail rings discernible still, good contrast to the typical, slightly shady body AC ORIENTAL BREEDER’S ADULT FEMALE.1. HAMILTON’S CH ADVISH WISTFUL WILLOW. F. (37k) 4yrs 9mths.Pleasing lady with a shortish wedge showing a minor pinch, ears set well in line, could be a little larger for preference, oriental eyes, slightly open, striking green shade. Strong body, balanced limbs, tail could be marginally longer to balance. Coat short and close, fairly sound mid cinnamon shade, ghost barring still detectable over thighs. AV SIAMESE NOT BRED BY EXHIBITOR ADULT FEMALE.1. BROWN’S CH FISEPO THISLEWAY AURORA. F. (32t8) 1yr 7mths.2. MASON’S SERAPIS SPIRITOFADREAMER. F. (24b) 2yrs.Handsome large lady with a long wedge, proportionate ears placed and flared well, oriental eyes of violet blue. Long forehead, gentle angle at the brow, profile straight to the nose leather, chin slopes back a smidge, no lower incisors now. Lithe firm body and limbs, tail shows a tiny terminal irregularity. Close fine coat, points a darkish chocolate, faints specs evident on mask, very good ivory body for contrast. AC SIAMESE ADULT NOT HAVING WON A CC.1. COX’S KHERAF COXSPIPPIN. F. (24b) 10mths 3wks.Rather a feisty girl of good type. Medium length wedge with a little pinch evident, ears well placed and flared, might prefer them just a little larger, eyes of oriental shape and incline, clear blue. Tiny dish to her profile, chin and bite line up. Firm body, balancing limbs and tail. Coat in good condition, darkish chocolate points, contrasting with the pale cool ivory body. AV SIAMESE BREEDER’S KITTEN MALE.1. BROWN’S THISLEWAY SPECIALEDITION. M. (32 3) 8mths 2wks.A most attractive lad of very strong type. Mid length wedge, strong, even lines, ears of good size, well spaced and flared, eyes almond shaped, well inclined, perhaps a little open, would prefer a little more depth to the blue but it is quite acceptable. Superior gently convex profile, firm chin and level bite. Well developed, firm body, matching limbs and tail. Well presented, close coat, showing outstanding soft milk chocolate tabby points with forehead patterning, thumb prints, faint eye lines and bracelets, good tail rings, excellent contrast to ivory body. AV SIAMESE BREEDER’S KITTEN FEMALE.1. SHAND’S PALMIRA NADIA. F. (24) 6mths 2wks.AV KITTEN OVER 6mths.1. SHAND’S PALMIRA NADIA. F. (24) 6mths 2wks.2. BROWN’S THISLEWAY SPECIALEDITION. M. (32 3) 8mths 2wks.AC ORIENTAL NEUTER MALE NOT BRED BY EXHIBITOR.1. DYKE’S MAZPAHS REBEL ROY. MN. (48b) 1yr 3wks.Superior typed fellow with a long, distinguished, even wedge crowned by large flaring ears well aligned, slanted oriental eyes of good green. Profile smoothly aquiline, level chin and bite. Long, masculine body, elegant limbs and tail to match. Coat in excellent condition, chocolate gleaming and typically dark toned, white at just over the required one third, evident on mask, all four limbs, both thighs, right shoulder and all down underparts; some invasion of white around the edges of the chocolate areas. 2. HAMILTON’S PR EMERPUS HOCUS POCUS. MN. (37k) 4yrs 2mths.Gentleman with a long, rather blunt wedge, needing a bit more width at the top between the ears which are, however, of good size. Eyes of good shape, deeply set and showing very oriental incline, olive green. Lithe body, matching limbs and tail. Coat slightly dry textured, sound rather cool cinnamon shade. 3. ALLISON’S TRELGANDORF TABACO LORD. MN. (29) 4yrs 2mths.An old favourite, a gentle senior of very good type. Lovely even wedge, large ears set well upon it, eyes of good shape needing a bit more brilliance to the green now. Strong body, matching limbs and tail. Picture marred by the depigmented areas on the nose leather and paw pads and by the area of thinning over the saddle in his otherwise very good, soft chestnut coloured coat. AC ORIENTAL NEUTER FEMALE NOT BRED BY EXHIBITOR.1. FYFE’S PR BETABIL MY FAIRLADY. FN. (29c) 1yr 11mths.Very attractive female with a good even wedge head, very good ears for size and alignment, eyes of good almond shape and oriental incline, clear green in tone. Very pleasing smooth arch to her profile, chin and bite line up. Body appeared just a little portly, but she as reluctant to unwind fully, slender limbs, tail needs a little length to balance. Excellent close, smooth coat, very even, sound light lilac that in this hall’s light showed just a hint of biscuit rather than pink to it. AC SIAMESE/BALINESE NEUTER.1. BUCHAN’S GR PR KEELOKAN KAI KAI MN. (32a) 3yrs 9mths.Very handsome individual with a strong, even wedge, proportionate ears set well in line upon it, sparkling oriental eyes of good depth to the blue. Elegant patrician profile, firm chin, level bite. Super long, lithe body with limbs and tail in keeping. Close coat shows very good bright red tabby points with excellent contrast to the warm, off white body. Reached Imperial status on the day I learned; congratulations. 2. SAXON’S PR SHIMILEETA STONECOLDCRAZY. MN. (32 3) 3yrs 9mths.Retiring laddie of good type with a long, even wedge head, large ears of good size and flare to complement it, oriental eyes of good blue shade. Profile almost straight, chin and bite level. Strong body and limbs, manubrium a little prominent but acceptable. Tabby points rather dark for chocolate and the tail rings very dark indeed, almost seal, body showing good contrast. AV JUNIOR NEUTER.1.DYKES’ MAZPAHS REBEL ROY. MN. (48b) 1yr 3wks.2. FYFE’S PR BETABIL MY FAIRLADY. FN. (29c) 1yr 11mths.3. NELSON’S MURRIAHLYN AMADORA FREYA. FN. (24) 1yr 11mths.
