JOYCE GREEN REPORT ON THE ERIN CAT CLUB SHOW 2009
My thanks to the Show Managers and the club for the invitation to the Erin and to my steward, Donna Mc Williams, for all her help and pleasant company. Special thanks also to Lilian & Billy Niblock and Ann Gamble for all their kindness. I had a super time and was impressed by the standard of the exhibits.

1ST BRIGLIADORI & ROBSON IMP GR CH SHWECHINTHE SHWENAT 13c3A super boy in all respects but sadly, today, not Imperial standard as his coat let him down. Not a good time of year for studs. Very good markings to all feet and stunning blue eyes.

GR CH BRIGLIADORI & ROBSON CH SHWECHINTHE MISS FRECKLES 13c9Pretty young girl of very good type and structure. Lovely silky coat, showing warmth to the tortie colouring, good markings to all feet. Rounded head, well placed ears, well developed muzzle, stunning deep blue eyes. She has such a sweet face and expression.

GR CH ASSINDER CH GEBUHRCOON’S DREAM DATE (IMP) 64 41Well structured girl, well boned limbs, large tufted paws. Lovely coat is quite profuse, ruff around her neck, pattern well marked, super long furry tail. Well shaped head, square muzzle, large tall ears which she holds well, showing tufts and streamers. Very nice eyes and expression.

IMP GR PR MAXWELL GR PR KILTONGA SPARKLE 13c5 Large well muscled fellow of excellent type, thick set legs, rounded paws, nice bushy tail. Lovely coat is long and has silky texture, clear red points on paler body, nice ruff around his neck, tidy markings to feet. Strong rounded head, slight profile dip, well developed muzzle and chin, lovely expression in his deep blue eyes.

GR PR CALLAN & RUSSELL INT PR ISHCUS RED DEVIL (GR PR) 64 19Huge boy of lovely proportions. Long and muscular body on substantial legs, large well tufted paws. Lovely rich colour to his coat which is long and has glossy topcoat. Super long furry tail. Strong medium head, large tall well furnished ears, square muzzle, very nice eyes, a super and impressive fellow.

GR CH MISKELLY CH GLENDAVAN KAISER SOGZE 23Lithe and muscular body on well proportioned limbs, neat paws, very good tail. Short coat lies close to the body, excellent ticking on rich apricot base clear to roots, lovely head and facial markings. Head set on elegant neck, moderate wedge, gently rounded contours, slight muzzle indentation, slight profile break, Wide-set large pricked and cupped ears, tufted tips. Wide-set expressive amber eyes.

GR CH MISKELLY CH GLENDAVAN SPELLBOUND 23An elegant young lady, quite dainty but lithe and muscular, well proportioned tail, legs and paws. Short close lying coat has very well defined ticking on rich apricot base which is clear to roots, very good head and facial markings. Elegant neck, head has moderate wedge, gently rounded contours, Large pricked ears set well apart, slight muzzle indentation, slightest profile break, large amber eyes of good shape and set.

GR CH ERVINE INT CH ACCLAIM KHAI 78 30sWell structured fellow of very good type, muscular body well balanced by tail, legs and dainty paws. Close lying coat has lustrous sheen, good random spotting on clear silver base. Very good markings on head and lovely ‘scarab’. Head has slightly rounded wedge of gentle contours, nose of uniform width, moderately large ears well placed. Large rounded almonds for eyes, bright gooseberry green. A handsome boy.

GR CH FERGUSON CH TEAROHA AUGUSTUS BROWN 27Young well structured boy feeling firm and muscular, well balanced by tail and limbs. Super coat is really shiny and the texture is short and fine, very good colour throughout. Broad head has good wedge, definite break in profile, nose has tiny bump, good chin. Ears set well apart, large lustrous expressive eyes.

GR CH TAYLOR INT CH KYMIAN HENRIETTA (TARA GR CH) 27jMature lass of very good type and very well balanced. Firm muscular body on firm limbs, tail in proportion. Lovely short silky coat has lustrous sheen, very nice mix of colours. Well shaped head, good wedge, firm chin, well defind profile line. Ears of very good shape and set, lustrous expressive eyes, fair colour. She has a lovely face and expression.
RES NIBLOCK CH MOLYNMEUX PRINCESS AOIFE 27aWell proportioned young lady, firm and muscular, very good tail and limbs. Super coat is short and silky textured, clear even colour with lovely glossy appearance. Head has short wedge, distinct nose break, chin level but could be a fraction deeper. Ears are set well apart. Large lustrous eyes of good colour.

IMP GR PR NIBLOCK CH & GR PR ARTRO BROWN BETH 27Mature lass with such a delightful personality. Very nice type and structure, overall well balanced. Super coat is rich mahogany colour with really glossy appearance, texture very good. Lovely head, short wedge, well defined profile line, medium ears are very well placed. Large lustrous eyes, she has such a lovely face and expression.

GR PR STEWART PR EMER NORTHERN DANCER 27aStrong and muscular fellow of very good type. Well proportioned tail, legs and feet. Sleek shiny coat lies close, very good colour, nice silvery sheen on rounded areas. Strong broad head, very good ears are well set, distinct nose break, level chin. Lustrous expressive eyes. A shy but gentle boy.
RES TAYLOR INT PR BACKCHAT BUCCANEER (IRISH GR PR) 27fSolid and well muscled, firm limbs, very good tail shape and length. Short close coat of rich cream, has a very nice shiny appearance. Strong broad head, very good ears well set, definite nose break in profile, very good eye colour, shape and set. Rather timid but handled well.

GR PR STEWART PR EMER CLAUDIA 27aStylish girl of very good type and very well structured. Firm and muscular, her tail and limbs are in proportion. Super coat is short and fine, such a lovely shade of blue with silvery sheen on rounded areas, nice shine across her body. .Her head has good breadth between medium ears which have good shape and set. Very pleasing line in profile. Large lustrous eyes, she has such a lovely face and expression. Friendly and relaxed.

1 BOB MCKEAGUE HILLYPAWS SPECIAL EDITION Delightful little kitty of just 13 weeks. She has nice substance to her cobby body, sturdy legs, large tufty paws. Lovely pure white coat is well prepared, soft silky fur, frill developing, neat bushy tail. Round head, round tipped ears are set well apart, her muzzle is still shaping up, good chin, baby teeth are tidy. Large bold round eyes, colour still changing. She is a real sweetie.
TABBY OR TABBY & WHITE EXOTIC NEUTER: MALE
1 PR BOB HAWTHORNE SHEERBLISS VOULEZ VOUS Super young boy with lovely ‘feel’ about him. Well muscled cobby body on strong legs, large round paws, tail in proportion. Dense plush coat is soft and stands out full of life, the white parts are pristine and the tabby markings clear, the silver base is just about visible. Round head has breadth to skull, small ears set low and well apart, short broad nose, well formed leather, good muzzle. Large bold copper eyes are so expressive.
2 SATTAR SHEERBLISS SHERE KHAN Cobby body has good muscle, short thick legs, large round paws, his tail is in proportion. Very nice coat is dense and plush, standing out from the body. Tabby pattern well marked and colour is rich red showing good contrast. Round head, small round tipped ears set well apart, good muzzle and chin. He was very reluctant to open his eyes which appeared to be deep orange.

BOB only LOUGHRAN GR PR GALLIANO MADAME BUTTERFLYWell structured girl of very nice type and head. Her coat feels soft and plush and the white parts are pristine.

1 CC BOB MORGAN CARRICKFERN HESTHEONEWell grown boy not quite a year old. Thick-set legs, firm paws. Very good coat has silken texture, deep seal mask and ears, rest of points coming through, nice bushy tail. Gloves and gauntlets are very well matched. Rounded head, medium ears set well, good muzzle. Almost round eyes are deep blue.

1 CC GILMORE CARRICKFERN HEARTBREAKERYoung girl still adolescent although has good muscle to body, thick-set legs, well shaped paws, nice bushy tail. Silken texture to coat of very good colour, gloves level across paws, gauntlets tidy. Head has good shape on top, muzzle needs time to fill out, ears set well apart. Almost round eyes of very good colour. A pretty lass.

Her coat has lovely texture and colour, very good tabby markings especially on the face. Tidy markings to feet. Rounded head, ears set well, muzzle developing well, almost round eyes of good colour. She is a real sweetie and looks promising.

Her coat is quite profuse, ruff and breeches developing. Well shaped head, square muzzle, large tall ears set high, well furnished, good line in profile. Very nice eye shape and set. An attractive young lady.

Well shaped head, square muzzle, large tall ears have lovely tufts at the tips. Very nice eyes and expression. An attractive exhibit, a pity he was so timid.

Lovely coat of soft warm blue, well ticked in blue-grey on pinky mushroom base, very nice head and facial markings. Gentle contours to head, slight muzzle indentation, slight profile break, wide-set cupped and pricked ears, large expressive rounded almond eyes.

A timid but very sweet girl.

Super coat is short and close lying, very good colour has pinky cast, showing lovely shiny appearance. Head is gently contoured, short wedge, well defined profile line, needs to grow into her ears, large lustrous eyes, very good colour. She is a real sweetie.
2 NIBLOCK ROSSIKHAN SWEETNOTHINGSWell balanced young lady of very nice type, firm and muscular. Elegant limbs, tail in proportion. Her coat has good texture and the colour is even although showing some slight brindling on her tail. Well shaped head is gently contoured, short wedge, well defined profile line, ears set well apart. Large lustrous eyes show very nice expression.
3 KEENAN KATCENNE SPERANZA WILDE Stylish young girl not yet a year old but sadly she was very nervous so I judged her in the pen. She looked very nice and had lovely coat texture, colour generally good and showing nice shiny appearance. Neat head and ears, good eye shape and set, she has a very nice face and expression.
