OUR CATS – DELAY TO PUBLICATION
A Personal Statement from the Editor
Readers and subscribers will obviously be aware that the issues of OUR
CATS dated 9th and 23rd January 2009 have not appeared in print (9th
January however is available online on the OUR CATS Website).
At this stage, the Editorial Team – Sheena Stratton, Pat Blacklock
and myself, Nick Mays – have no information as to why this is. In
short, we are as in the dark, as you are. This is obviously not an
acceptable situation and as Editor I am being forced to review my
continued involvement with the current publishers of OUR CATS.
As before, I am afraid that if you have any queries regarding OUR
CATS, please refer these to the publisher Mr Robert Illingworth.

Mr Illingworth has informed me that he will be making a statement
regarding the OUR CATS situation later today and that this will appear
on the OUR CATS and GCCF Websites. As to what he will say… I am not
privy to the contents of this statement.
As Editor, I can only offer my apologies that your official journal
has been delayed in this way and hope that the situation can soon be
rectified one way or another. In the meantime, I would respectfully
ask everyone not to take their justifiable frustration out on the
Editorial team or the reception staff at OUR CATS' Orion House Office,
but to direct any comments that you have to Mr Illingworth direct.
The Editorial Team would like to assure everyone of our continued
commitment to produce a quality journal for the Cat Fancy and the GCCF
specifically. I hope to bring you more news regarding our position
within the next week.
