It is with great sadness I write this tribute for Hawk, a tragic accident while on stud duties has taken this magnificent boy from his doting Owner/Breeder Pippa Browning.
I had the great honour to meet Hawk and like all those before me quickly fell “in love”.
Hawk was such a noble cat, a sweet gentle nature who liked nothing more than being held in your arms like a baby. Never was a crossed word or raised paw ever seen from Hawk. This wonderful Balinese had an illustrious show career, his Best in Show accolades too numerous to list, he shone wherever he was exhibited and was BOV Siamese Adult at the prestigious Supreme Cat Show.
It is fair to say he wowed every GCCF Judge who had the pleasure to judge him and I know many have shed a tear at his passing. Hawk has sired the most incredible progeny, my own first litter of kittens; every one of them achieved either a BIS or BOV. He is sire to the incredible IGr Pr Mylynn Magnifique.
The type and style Hawk contributed to the Longhair Oriental is a legacy his breeder should be very proud of. Never has the like of Hawk been seen before nor I doubt ever, will we see again.

Such a lovely gentle boy that I had the pleasure to meet and photograph at many shows, my thoughts are with Pippa and her family.
