AV FOREIGN GRAND CHAMPION MALE
1 IGR CC DESOLLA’S GR CH BRUNNBACKEW’S SAMBESI 23 M 23.5.07Delightful two plus year old boy with only the required four legs, paws making pastry and a super purr, a real pleasure to judge and my nomination for best Foreign adult. Gently rounded contours to head and gently rounded from top of head to brow. Good, gently rounded width between the ears forming a moderate wedge which tapers to a slightly rounded muzzle, formed by a slight indentation. In profile slightly rounded brow, very slight nose break then nose straight to tip but shallows slightly in depth. Level bite but slightly shallow although level chin. Large, well cupped ears, pricked and with furry inner edges, tufts at tips and set wide apart. Outer line of the ear follows the outer contours of the face. Large, hazel coloured, expressive eyes set well apart, full almond shape and oriental in set. Lithe, muscular and well developed with medium build and size to long body, straight back and rounded rib cage. Long, slender legs in proportion to body and neat oval paws. Tail, thick at base, tapering gently to tip and of good length to balance body. Coat is a trifle long but fine, dense in texture and close lying. Usual Abyssinian of ruddy orange base colour and black ticking, showing distinct bands of colour. Ticking more intense down spine and tail. Black pigmentation lines from eye to top of head and pencil lines on cheeks. Pale hair around eyes and dark edge to eyelids. Ruddy orange ears with darker tone at tips. Cream chin and lips. Black just slightly up the hocks.

1 IGR CC LLOYD’S GR CH NAMOONA DAMARA 78 30 F 22.12.04Four and a half year old lady with a shy and gentle nature . Slightly rounded wedge of medium length. Profile shows gentle contour with very slight rise from bridge to forehead and down neck. Uniform width down nose to gently rounded muzzle. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Medium ears, broad at base, slightly pointed, set well back and cupped forward to follow line of the head. Large, rounded almond shaped eyes, set straight under a level brow, gooseberry green in colour. Well balanced with a medium length body, firm and muscular and deceptively weighty. Elegant, proportionate legs and neat rounded paws. Good medium length tail, thicker at base and tapering gently towards tip. Bronze Egyptian Mau with medium length, close lying coat with a lovely sheen to it. Warm tone to golden coppery ground colour paling to undersides with brown markings. Clear facial markings of ‘M’ on forehead with frown marks, complex scarab over top of head breaking into spots along spine. Mascara lines on cheeks. Pale lips, chin and upper throat. Randomly spotted, clearly defined and broken spine line. Broken necklaces, bars on legs with spots on lower legs right down to her toes and ringed tail with a dark tip. Shy but gentle nature.
RIGR CC BRYNES’S GR CH BOUNTIFUL O’SU’GAR 33a36 F 9.8.07Nearly two year old lady with a wonderful temperament. Short, broad wedge with good breadth to the top of the head between ears set low and wide apart, large, wide at base and rounded at tips without tufts. For perfection I would prefer a little more width at high cheek bones. In profile slight flattening to brow before curving back to flat skull. Fairly good stop and straight nose shallows in depth towards tip. Level bite and firm chin. Good, rounded muzzle and fairly good whisker break. Large, green well set eyes oval in shape. Slender neck and firm, long, slender body of excellent size and weight, rounded chest and with elegant, long legs and small oval paws. Long tail to balance body tapering nicely to tip and finishing with a curl to the fur. Superb short coat, fine with an excellent, pronounced rippled effect all over body and well down legs and tail. Just slightly sparse on top of head, around the neck and chest, and patch on flanks. Tail well covered in wavy fur. Slight muffs around the base of the ears. Short eyebrows and whiskers.

1 GCC Withheld HALLIGAN’S CH BRAMBLEWOOD CASPAJACK 76 30 M 7.8.07Brown Spotted Bengal of nearly two years of age. Good size and weight to medium body, long and with good muscle tone. Long, proportionate legs and neat rounded paws. Medium length tail, thick and even, carried low and with a rounded, dark tip. Short to medium length coat, fairly dense, soft and luxurious in texture. Bright, golden rufus ground colour, slightly darker overtone down back, large well coloured black and brown rosettes with a nice glitter overall. Clear facial marking with ‘M’ on face, pencil lines on cheeks and vertical streaks over head. Broken lines and spots on legs, rings on tail and spots on tummy. Broad, medium wedge with rounded contours, high cheek bones and head correctly small in proportion to body. In profile gentle curve from forehead to bridge of nose, slight concave curve to nose then straight to tip. Large, broad nose with puffed nose leather. Full, broad muzzle but undershot bite (confirmed by the Duty Vet) and protruding shallow chin. Pronounced whisker pads. Thick muscular neck. Largish ears follow the outer contours of the head, wide at base and rounded at tips. Almond shaped, green eyes which I would prefer fuller and larger but correctly slanted towards the base of the ear.
2 COPLEY’S CH KEVONA SIMPLYAPERFECT END 68 43csq M 19.3.08Fifteen month old boy who was very difficult to handle and assess today, possibly had other things on his mind. Good size and weight to medium length body with good muscle tone. Proportionate length but slightly chunky rather than slender legs and largish rounded paws. Good length tail to balance body. Probably seasonal coat which needed to develop more length on sides and to give fullness to plume effect of tail. Very little ruff at present. Lilac Silver Shaded Tiffanie with burmese colour restriction showing slight shading which was more evident down spine and on flanks. Medium lilac facial markings. Yellowy overtones to coat overall. Good width to gently rounded top of head between medium to large ears set well apart. In profile slight rounding to brow, adequate nose break of dished appearance, nose a bit long and rounds at tip. Level bite but shallow chin and a bit fine at muzzle. Good size and shape to pale green eyes but were slightly deep set for my liking.
AOV FOREIGN CHAMPION FEMALE
1 GCC DURDEN’S CH SHINARHA TRULI SCRUMPTIOUS 74j F 3.3.02Seven plus year old lady who was a delight to handle. Gently rounded top of head of good width between ears, moderately proportioned wedge with a slightly square look rather than rounded muzzle which may be due to her lack of teeth but definite whisker pinch. Lovely profile line shows slight nose break then nose straight to tip. Level gums and fair depth chin. Good medium sized ears, slightly taller than wide, broad at base, oval tips and pricked forward and set well apart. Large full almond shaped eyes, set well apart bluey-green in colour. Medium build to longish body with a rounded chest, very good weight, well filled tummy but still well balanced with a good firm feel to her. Proportionate length, slender legs and neat oval paws. Long, gently tapering tail to balance body. Coat fairly short, close lying, fine, soft and lovely and silky in texture with a good sheen to it. Lilac Tortie Tonkinese of palish lilac body colour mingled with warm toned shades of cream and deeper tones to points of ears, mask and tail, legs and paws slightly paler. Faint hotter cream bars on legs. Lovely temperament.
2 Reserve Withheld HIBB’S CH CHRISJAY TWICE ASNICE 76 30 F 12.2.06Three and a half year old lady looking rather slim and elegant for a Bengal but deceptively weighty and with good muscle tone. Moderate wedge but I would prefer more breadth to top of head, however she has gently rounded contours and high cheek bones and head is correctly small in proportion to body. Nice in profile with good line from forehead to bridge of nose then slight concave curve to nose before straight to tip. A trifle fine at muzzle and whisker pads could be more pronounced. Largish ears, wide at base and rounded at tips but held upright and turned slightly outwards. Level bite and fair depth chin. I would like more fullness to the rounded muzzle. Almond shape to eyes but I would prefer more fullness, green in colour and correctly slanted. Good length body with proportionate length slim legs and neat rounded paws. Medium length tail tapering to a fine, dark tip. Short to medium length coat lacks density but is soft and luxurious. Brown Spotted Bengal of pale rufus ground colour with excellent clear black and brown spotting with only slight downward linkage at shoulders. Broken lines and spots on legs, spots on tummy and rings on tail. Clear deep brown facial markings with ‘M’ on face and pencil lines on cheeks. Nice natured lady but not quite up to the mark today.

1 & BOB MANN’S SULALCO LADY-SYBIL VIMES 28 F 28.3.09Very confident three month old kitten and of very good size for her age. Good overall balance and a good firm feel to her. When viewed from the front head has full cheeks to a round face with good breadth to skull and rounded top of head with good width between neat ears set far apart so following the outer contours of the head, small in size and rounded at tips. Rounded brow and straight, broad nose just appeared a trifle long but she was teething. Level bite and fair depth, level chin. Chunky, compact body, equally broad across rump and chest, short level back, low on legs and with a well rounded chest. Well boned, short legs and firm, rounded paws. Well shaped tail thicker at base and rounded at tip just a trifle long for perfection. Coat fairly short with some density but not surprisingly soft and kittenish. Deep golden colour to large and well open eyes set well apart. Very good size and weight to compact body with a short level back, low on legs and with a good breadth, rounded chest. Stocky legs and firm, rounded paws. Medium length tail, thicker at base and rounded at tip. Fairly short coat with some density a fairly crisp, mature texture.
