It was nice to be back again and judge a wide variety of breeds. A big thank you to my steward Chris Bamford for keeping me on the track with the GCCF system and to Edward Irving and his show staff for their kind hospitality.

IMPERIAL CLASS – AV SLH GR PR NEUTER FEMALE

IMP, COWARD’S GR PR NORDLYS GAZELLE, 67 15, FN, (31.03.2005)

Head good shape, could be a tick longer, broad nose, excellent straight profile, good chin, ears in line with the head, good eye size and shape, very nice eye colour, wide chest, firm, solid body, sturdy legs very well in proportion, gorgeous coat of excellent texture, tail correct, well coated and in proportion, impressive!!

Very nice head shape, broad nose, good profile, decent chin, ears well placed, eye colour due to bad light hardly visible, broad chest but body could be a little heavier, at the moment skinny along spine, sturdy legs well in proportion, soft and silky summer coat, good points, nice markings, tail correct and well coated, in proportion, a very nice boy (it).

Head excellent wedge, nose nearly perfect with just a little dip, good chin, excellent eye shape, nice colour (shows third lid), ears well shaped and set, long body, well fed, more barrel than tube, fine, elegant legs, dainty paws, excellent coat texture, short and close lying, warm colour, tail very nice, correct long whip, a flashy lady.

2. CORBY & DOLAN’S GR CH IKISHIROO KIRASH TAMASIN, 37a, F, (30.04.2007)

Head of good shape but could be a tick longer, good eye size and shape, clear colour, lazy eye (anxious?), good profile and chin, large well set ears, long, firm, slender, tubular body, slight chicken breast, elegant, fine legs on oval paws, well in proportion, excellent coat texture, silky and close lying, good colour, very nice long tail whip, an elegant cat

Head nice wedge, profile nearly perfect, decent chin, excellent eye size and shape, good colour, ears well placed, elegant long body, muscular and firm to touch, fine elegant legs, dainty paws, coat of excellent texture, colour not blue shaded but blue tabby, tail short whip, could be longer, award wh due to wrong colour only.

Head excellent wedge, perfect profile, good chin, excellent ear flare, nice eye size and shape, excellent colour, long body with big belly, looks like a beer barrel, fine legs in proportion to body length, dainty paws, coat is a little long but close lying and silky, decent points, good body colour, tail is short whip, could be longer. What a head!

Head excellent wedge, nose with tiny dip, chin could be stronger, excellent eye shape, very nice colour, large well shaped and set ears, nice, long body with big belly, more barrel than tube, fine elegant legs on nice dainty paws, well in proportion, soft and silky coat, opens up a little bit, nice points, good body colour, tail short whip, should be longer,

Head excellent wedge, perfect profile, nice chin, good eye shape and size, decent colour, ears large, well shaped with excellent flare, long body, a little heavy, elegant high legs, very well in proportion, fine paws, excellent coat texture, close lying, good points, a little dark on back, tail elegant long whip, an impressive boy.

RES, WEBB’S PR PIPPASTRO BOLSHOI, 61n, MN, (07.06.2008)

Excellent head shape, broad straight nose with tip slightly pointing down, large well shaped eyes of good colour, chin ok, large well shaped ears nicely placed, firm long body with legs very well in proportion, excellent coat texture, super length, looks like he is kept in a fridge at home, good points, decent body colour, excellent tail length. A good looking young man.

3. CANEY’S GR CH & PR MERRYTAIL MYHINENI, 24c, MN, (03.02.2007)

Excellent head shape, nose shows very tiny dip, profile nearly perfect, decent chin, deep blue eyes of excellent shape and size, excellent ear flare, nice long body, but a little overfed with big belly, elegant legs in proportion to body length, fine paws, good coat texture, good points, body colour could be lighter, tail just long enough.

4. QUEST’S MEILLAND SIMPLY RED, 32a, MN, (20.02.2006)

Nice head shape, nose shows slight dip with tip pointing down, decent chin, excellent eye size and shape, clear colour, long, strong body, elegant high legs, fine paws, coat good texture, close lying, a little long on back, decent points, good body colour, tail could be a tick longer.

Head excellent shape, broad nose, perfect profile, decent chin, good eye size and shape, clear colour, ears well shaped and placed, massive, strong, firm and impressive body, broad chest, sturdy legs well in proportion, big paws, good abdomen, incredible coat, soft, silky, flowing, sufficient for 2 cats, good points, very nice light body colour, tail correct and very well in proportion. A pleasure to look at.

2. HASSETT’S HAPPYTYME TUMBLERAG, 66aw, M, (31.03.2008)

Good head shape, nice profile, chin could be stronger, eyes large, well shaped, clear colour, ears well placed, nice strong body with full chest and strong neck on well proportioned legs, coat soft and silky, nice mitts, good gauntlets, good points, excellent light body colour, tail correct and well in proportion, difficult to take out of cage and to handle, could not check belly.

3. METCALFE’S HIGHVIEW DIAMOND, 66, M, (23.08.2008)

Good head shape, decent profile, chin ok, good eye shape and colour, ears well placed, muscular, strong body, chest could be a little broader, legs well in proportion, good coat texture, good points, body colour could be a little lighter, tail correct and well in proportion, could be better presented, needs grooming.

4. BARTON’S HAPPYTYME LUCIOUS EDWARD, 66, M, (14.09.2008)

Head good shape, broad nose, excellent profile, good chin, ears well placed, large, well shaped eyes but left eye shows inflammation, rim is all red, clear colour could be deeper, good points but heavy brindling in face and “glasses” round the eyes, heavy, firm body, good boning, broad chest, legs well in proportion, coat a little harsh, body colour ok, tail well in proportion.

Good head shape, good profile, chin a bit flat, nice eye shape and size, eyes look inflamed with bright red rims, ears well placed, body could be a little stronger but well proportioned, coat good texture, decent points, good colour, tail well in proportion, Still a teenager, needs to mature and gain some substance.

Excellent head shape, very nice profile, good chin, eyes excellent shape and size, face marking nearly perfect, ears well placed, strong, firm, muscular and wide chested body, very well built for a young girl, legs very well in proportion, gorgeous coat texture, very good length, very nice bi-colour markings, tail correct and well in proportion. Watch carefully the developing stud tail. What a cute face.

2. HASSETT’S HAPPYTYME OPHELIA, 66 31a, F, (10.09.2008)

Good head shape, very nice broad nose with excellent profile, decent chin, large, well shaped eyes, clear colour, ears well shaped and set, very well built for sex and age, strong body but slight chicken breast which hopefully gets rounder while maturing, legs very well in proportion, excellent soft and silky coat, good points, nice bi-colour markings, good colour, tail well in proportion.

SILVER TABBY SERIES MAINE COON KITTEN

1., BOB, WRIGHT’S POWERKATZ EVOLUTION, 64 41sw, M, (20.12.2008)

Excellent head shape, broad nose, very nice profile, decent chin, nice square muzzle, ears large, open and well placed high on head with excellent tufts, eyes large, well shaped, clear colour, long, firm, rectangular body with good chest, solid, sturdy, high legs, very well in proportion, big, round paws, coat excellent texture, shaggy, good markings, nice contrast, shiny colour, super tail. Perfectly presented, judged with pleasure. An impressive, promising young boy. Would like to see him mature in the age of 4-5 years.

NORWEGIAN FOREST KITTEN

1., BOB, THOMAS’ SISKADELL DASHING DANDY, 66 31, M, (16.02.2009)

Excellent head shape, broad nose with perfect straight profile, good chin, excellent eye shape and size, colour in development, ears very nicely placed in line with head, hard and muscular body, good length, sturdy legs well in proportion, very well built for this age, good coat texture for age, nice bi-colour markings, tail correct and in proportion. An impressive, promising boy, a pleasure to look at.

2. THOMAS’ MOONKIST PRETTY NIFTY, 67 31dt, M, (09.01.2009)

Head nice shape but could be just a tick longer, very nice straight profile, good chin, excellent eye size and shape, already clear colour, ears well in line with head, very solid and firm to touch body, legs well in proportion, excellent coat texture surprising at this age, decent colour, good markings, tails very well in proportion to the body, could be better groomed, greasy behind the ears. What a face, I like the profile. Unfortunately competed today with an in my opinion even better one.

Excellent head shape, broad nose, a little straight, decent chin, large open eyes, good shape, clear colour, ears well set, strong, solid, robust body, excellent to touch, wide chest, legs well in proportion, good coat texture, spots could be clearer defined, markings partly mackerel, good belly spots, tail correct and in proportion.

AC ORIENTAL LH (ANGORA) NEUTER)

PC, WEBB’S PIPPASTRO BLUE CALIFORNIA, 62 43a, MN, (17.09.2008)

Head excellent wedge, nose broad with just a tiny dip and tip pointing down, good chin, large well shaped eyes, clear colour, ears large and open, excellent flare, long tubular, firm body on fine elegant legs and dainty paws, very well proportioned, scratch/injury on back between shoulder blades, coat excellent texture and length, tail well coated and whippy, could be just a tick longer. Should be shown as blue mackerel tabby.

BOB, HINCHLIFFE’S PR MYLYNN MUMBO JUMBO, 62 36, MN, (25.01.2008)

Head excellent wedge, excellent straight profile, decent chin, eyes excellent clear colour, a little round (scared?), excellent ear flare, nice long body, a little round at waist, fine, elegant legs with oval paws, very well in proportion, coat excellent texture, good length, decent contrast, slight ghost markings, excellent long, well coated whippy tail. A pretty boy (it).

CARAMEL POINT SIAMESE ADULT

Head good wedge, broad nose with slight dip, chin ok, good eye shape and size, decent colour, ears very well placed, long, tubular body but very skinny along spine, elegant legs well in proportion, fine dainty paws, coat at the moment still a little long and harsh, opens up, good points, nice body colour, tail correct, long and whippy.

Head excellent wedge, nose with little dip, chin could be stronger, excellent eye shape and size, very good colour, large well shaped and set ears, nice, long body, more barrel than tube, had a good breakfast, elegant high legs on dainty paws, well in proportion, soft and silky coat, opens up a little bit, good points, good body colour, tail short whip, could be longer.

Head excellent wedge, profile nearly perfect with just a tiny dip, chin could be stronger, excellent ear size and flare, eyes nice shape and good colour, check as right eye is slightly running, long, slender, firm body, fantastic for a neuter, fine elegant legs well in proportion, coat excellent silky texture, short and close, decent points, light body colour, tail very nice long whip.
