HERTSFORSHIRE & MIDDLESEX CAT SHOW By Carole Gainsbury 4th September, 2010

I would like to thank Lisa & Elaine for the invitation to judge this year, the show had a great atmosphere as always and I enjoyed the day. I would like to thank my steward Hedi who was a great asset to me.

AC NON-SELF PERSIAN PREMIER NEUTER MALE

Gr Pc MRS C HALL, PR SOOPURRKITS CASPER (51d),

Red Shaded Cameo Male Neuter, born 23.06.2004. Good top of head with neat well furnished ears, round orange eyes, snub nose, wide cheeks, good bite and firm chin. He has a good shape body with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a fine soft textured pale coat evenly shaded with red shaded tipping down to his full plumed tail.

R Pc MRS E M E PEACHEY, CITOXE WILLOUGHBY (70 8),

Brown Tabby Male Exotic Neuter, born 28.05.2008. Round top of head with round tipped ears that have good ear furnishings. He has round orange eyes, short broad nose with break, wide cheeks, a good bite and firm muzzle. Large framed boy with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a well prepared soft textured plush coat that is standing away from his body but would prefer a more density for perfection with rich brown ground colour coat with excellent black classic tabby markings down to his thick tail.

Red Tabby Exotic Female Neuter, born 29.05.2004. Round top of head with round tipped ears that are nicely furnished, round good orange eyes, short broad nose with good break, almost level bite and a firm muzzle, she has a medium size body with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a soft textured plush coat that is standing away from her body with good rich red tabby markings affording a good contrast down to the thick tail.

Tortie and White Female Neuter, born 14.02.2008. Good top of head with neat well placed ears that are nicely furnished, round expressive pale orange eyes, snub nose full cheeks, almost level bite and a firm chin. She has a good size body with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a well prepared fine soft textured coat with areas of white, black and red that are sound within the coat. She has 3 colours showing on her face with red and black areas within the white of body of the coat and a red and black plumed tail, lovely girl with a sweet nature.

He has a large framed body with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a fine soft textured plush coat that is standing away from his body down to his thick tail.

Brown Mackerel Tabby Male Adult, born 06.07.2009. Round top of head with neat well furnished ears, round good orange eyes, short broad nose with good break, ample cheeks, almost level bite and firm muzzle. He has a good shape body with sturdy legs and rounded paws covered by soft textured coat that is standing away from his body but would prefer more density for perfection down to his thick tail.

Round top of head with neat well furnished ears, smooth skull, round expressive orange eyes, snub nose, full wide cheeks, level bite and firm chin. She has a good size body with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a well prepared soft textured plush coat that is standing away from her body with a thick tail.

2nd MRS J PEED HADFIELDS REDHEAD (70 9)

Red Mackerel Tabby Female Adult Exotic, born 26.07.2009. round top of head with neat well furnished ears, round orange eyes, short broad nose with good break, ample cheeks, level bite and a firm muzzle, the body is a medium size with sturdy legs and rounded paws, covered by well groomed a fine textured plush coat that is standing away from her body but would prefer more density for perfection of a red mackerel tabby markings affording a good contrast with the ground colour with a thick tail.

1st & B.O.B MRS I BANGS, LABREBELLA LUCIFER (1)

Black Persian Male Kitten with a lovely full round expression, born 15.05.2010. Broad top of head with ears that are small neat and well furnished with long black furnishings. He has a smooth domed forehead, round expressive copper eyes, a snub nose, nice full wide cheeks, level bite and a firm chin. The body is cobby with short strong legs and rounded paws and covered by a good coloured silky in textured pure shiny black coat, that is sound to the roots with only a hint of greying around his cheeks. The coat is free flowing and groomed to perfection down to his full pantaloons with a short wee full tail and a delightful full sound black frill to frame his face. What delightful sweet natured boy and look forward to seeing him as he grows.

Bi-COLOURED KITTEN

1st B.O.B MS E POTTER, PRIMISSION EMBELLISHED, (12a5)

Red & White Bi-Colour, Female kitten with a lovely expression, born 05.04.2010. Good top of head, neat well furnished ears with lovely red ear furnishings. She has a smooth skull, round expressive orange eyes, a snub nose, nice wide cheeks with a good bite and a firm chin. The body is a good cobby shape with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a well prepared fine soft in textured rich red area on the coat and free of any white hairs within the red, the larger red areas are complemented by white areas within her coat, with 4 white areas on each leg and a white moustache and a white area from each side of the coat going under her belly and a full red tail.

1st MRS E WILLIS. TALSHIAR IRIS-KATRINA (13b17)

Cream Tabby Colourpoint Female Kitten, born 01.03.2010. Good top of head with neat nicely furnished ears, round blue eyes, snub nose, full cheeks, almost level bite and a firm chin. She has a good shaped body with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a well prepared soft textured pale coat with cream tabby markings to mask, legs and tail.

2nd MR K BROWN & MR M MOTTI, BRONTTI MILLIE D’AMORE (13b18)

Blue-Cream Tabby Colourpoint Female kitten, born 11.03.2010. Well placed ears that are slightly open at the base with good ear furnishings, round blue eyes, snub nose, ample cheeks, almost level bite and a firm chin. She has good size body with sturdy legs and rounded paws, covered by a well groomed soft in texture pale coat with blue cream points colour to mask, legs and tail.

Orange Eyed White Female Adult, with a pleasing expression, born 18.09.2009. Broad top of head with a neat small ears that are nicely furnished with white ear furnishings, smooth skull , round good orange eyes, snub nose, full wide cheeks, good bite and firm chin. She has a large framed body with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a fine soft in textured pristine and sparkling white coat that is groomed to the last hair which is long and free flowing down to her full short full tail. Beautiful girl with lovely clean eyes and no staining throughout the coat, she is well grown and a credit to her owner.

2nd Mrs W Howard, Purrdreamz Sweet Sensation (2b)

Odd Eyed White Persian Adult Male, born 11.10.2009. Broad top of head, neat ears that are well furnished with white ear furnishings. He has a smooth skull, round eyes with one good orange and one medium blue eye, both eyes have no flecks in them, but I would prefer bolder eyes for perfection, a snub nose, good width to his cheeks, level bite and a firm chin. Large framed body with study legs and rounded paws and covered by a fine soft textured pure white long flowing coat down to his full plumed tail. Once again well groomed and free from any staining.

1st MR J & MRS C J TIPPER, TIGANLEA DAME FELICIA (67 16),

Blue Norwegian Forest Adult Female, born 17 07 2009. She has a good profile with ears of medium size and rounded at the tips, large slightly over shaped eyes that are set oblique, wide a part of good eye shape and colour, with an alert expression, level bite and slightly rounded chin. The body is rectangular and medium in size. Strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a well groomed blue medium in length coat with a well furnished tail.

1st MRS E YEOMAN, PURINDOORS JUICY LUCY, (13c5)

Red pointed Birman female kitten, born, 23.03.2010. Strong broad and rounded skull, medium sized ears that are set well apart and nicely furnished, good shaped eyes of a good blue, with full cheeks, level bite and a full chin. She has a good size body with sturdy legs and rounded paws with matching white socks and gauntlets, covered by a silken in texture well prepared coat with good red points colour to mask, legs and tail..

2nd MS R HAMILTON, PHATPAWS SPRING COLLECTION (66)

Seal Pointed Colourpointed Ragdoll female kitten, born 19.04.2010. Broad head with flat plane. Good width between medium ears and nicely furnished. Large slightly oblique blue eyes, good shaped body with sturdy legs and rounded paws covered by a nicely groomed silky in texture beige coat with good seal points colour to mask, legs and tail.

Brown & White Ragamuffin, female kitten, born 14.04.2010. Broad head with well placed ears, moderately rounded forehead, large oblique eyes that are green gold colour, she has a nose break at the nasal bridge, good bite and full chin. Good shaped body with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a plush texture which is soft and dense white coat with good brown tabby areas within the coat down to her well furnished tail.

2nd MRS T GENTRY, RONMARIES GRISIAL GLAS (13c2)

Blue Point Birman female kitten, born 24.04.2010. Broad and rounded head, with medium sized ears set well apart, the eyes are almost round but not bold and a good blue colour, medium length nose with a slight dip in the profile, full cheeks, level bite and full chin. she has a medium sized body with sturdy legs and rounded paws and covered by a well groom silken in texture pale coat with blue points colour to mask, legs and tail.

Red shaded Cameo Adult Neuter, born 04/10/2006. She has neat well placed and nicely furnished ears sitting on a broad top of head, round good orange eyes, snub nose, nice full cheeks, almost level bite and firm chin. Her body is in proportion with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a well-groomed soft in texture coat that is groomed to perfection down to the last hair of a light coloured undercoat and evenly shaded with red tipping down to her full plumed tail.

2nd MRS A NICHOLLS. CH & GR PR YOONEEK SHEER MAGIC, (51 4),

Tortie Cameo Adult Neuter Female, born 22.07.1998. Nice sweet expression on an open type face with a good top of head and neat and nicely furnished ears, round orange eyes, short broad nose with break, full cheeks and level bite. The body is a large framed with sturdy legs and rounded paws. Covered by a well groomed coat with a pale undercoat that is just starting to change at the roots and overlaid with shades of red within the black down to her full tail.

Round top of head with neat round tipped ears that are nicely furnished, round orange eyes, snub nose wide cheeks, good bite and a firm muzzle. He had a large body with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a well prepared silvery white coat with good red classic tabby areas within the coat that is soft texture and plush, that is standing away from his body down to his thick tail.

Broad head with ears set well apart, moderately rounded forehead, large oblique eyes that are green to gold in colour, he has a nose break at the nasal bridge, good bite and full chin. Good shaped body with strong legs and rounded paws, covered by a well groomed plush texture coat that is soft and dense down to his well furnished tail.

1st MRS D WILLIAMS, PR RIASCATZ TUXEDO (12a1)

Black and White Bi-Colour Persian Male Neuter Adult, born 04.04.2009. Good top of head with neat well placed and nicely furnished ears, smooth skull, round orange eyes, snub nose, full cheeks, almost level bite and firm chin. He has a good shape body with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a fine soft in texture well prepared black coat with white areas within the coat, he has a symmetrical V starting above his nose going down to each side of his cheeks and extending down to a bib. His back is black with a white clear defined area, white and black legs, with a white tummy and a black tail.

2nd MRS D WILLIAMS PR RIASCATZ SIMPLY RED (12a5)

rather unhappy Red & White Bi-Colour, Male Neuter Adult, born31.03.2006. Good top of head with neat well furnished ears, smooth skull, round orange eyes, snub nose, wide cheeks, almost level bite and firm chin. He has a large body with sturdy legs and rounded paws and covered by a nicely groomed fine textured coat, he has a symmetrical V of white going up between his eyes, a large area of red on his back with a white band across the lower end of the area, 4 white legs and a red plumed tail, not looking his best today, the white was more of a off white against the red areas.

1ST MS A STALLINGS PICTUREBOOK TEMPTRESS (11)

Á Tortoiseshell Neuter adult, born 10.12.2004. Good top of head with neat well furnished ears and black ear furnishings. She has a sweet well balanced face, round good copper colour eyes that could be bolder for perfection, snub nose, wide cheeks, almost level bite and firm chin, The body is a cobby shape with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a soft textured black coat with shades of red with in the face, body and tail, I would have liked to see just a wee bit more red in the coat but still a very attractive girl with a frill to frame her face and a full plumed tail.
