JUDGES REPORT MS JANE E. ALLEN
Sincere thanks to Carol and Ron and the committee for their kind invitation to judge again this year, one of my favourite shows and it was a real pleasure as ever.
Caroline Kemp was my able assistant for the day and we had a great time together thanks Caroline.

One of my favourite boys although in a slightly shorter coat than previously and obviously into his girls this lad has super type and balance with a lovely flat face and wide spaced large eyes. Short nose, wide cheeks and good bite and chin. Mainly white coat with small blue patches on face and a fully coloured tail. Well shown as always.

This young lady was also very nice, wide top of head with neat ears. Rather small eyes that were of excellent colour. Short nose with cute black leather! Full cheeks good bite and nice depth of chin. Cobby frame with short tail her body being white and the tail fully coloure black. Well shown,

Another boy who I have handled on several occasions, he continues to improve with super balance and cobby body. Lustrous coat that was dense and standing away quite well. Well shown as ever.

Charming mature female with super type and balance, broad head with wide flat expression. Large round eyes that are now a little pale in colour. Short nose with good leather, nice cheeks. Bite and chin. Large frame with good boning, short tail. Very well shown mainly white coat with clear patches of red and black. Good to handle.

It was nice to meet her again, very typy female with super head and balance. Fantastic eyes for shape and colour. Cobby frame with short, rounded tail. Well shown and nice to handle.

1 MEADOWS FLEURIELLE WHITE SUGAR 2a
I really liked this exhibit, he had wonderful head and balance, with wide spaced neat ears, wonderful eyes for shape and deep copper colouring. Short, broad nose with fat cheeks. Good bite and lovely depth of chin. Large frame that was quite cobby and of great weight. Fairly short, full tail.

I loved this young lady’s head and type, very typy but balanced, especially appreciated her breadth of head and placement of her ears. Strong eye colouring. Wide cheeks, undershot bite and very strong chin. Lovely frame and boning with short legs and tail. Well shown but for me her coat was rather too dark for a cream and a little shady at the roots and tummy.

Very attractive young lady with super top of head and neat, low set ears. Round eyes with a promising colour and size. Short nose with fat cheeks. Teething bite and firm chin. Cobby frame with short, full tail. Nice weight and boning. Confident little lass.
2 BROWN-PERCIVALS SANDIMAN SCALLIWAG 70 12a6t
Ran the winner very close indeed and at a month younger just lost out on that added maturity of the winner. For me she is a very stylish kitten who at the moment had just slightly large ears that were a little upright, she was teething so would expect all this to settle into position. Cobby frame with short, rounded tail her coat was nicely patterned and coloured just lying a little flat as yet as her undercoat still to develop fully. Very nicely shown.

Pretty kitten with very nice balance and well shown, sadly her mouth was not correct, I do hope that as her teething finishes this will correct itself.

Sweet black baby with a very nice top of head and ear set. Round, reasonable sized eyes of good colour developing, nice width to face and firm chin with teething bite. Coby body and short tail, in full coat that was well shown just a touch dry in texture but am sure as the kitten coat develops this will right itself.

Mature boy who was looking very stylish on the day.
Large frame with excellent weight. Broad top and rounded neat ears. Round eyes that were really copper in colour. Short nose with wide cheeks. Slightly undershot bite with firm chin. Massive frame with stocky, short legs. Short, full tail. Very well shown mid cream coat that was virtually sound in colour. I do not think I have ever seen this male look better congratulations.
2 MEADOWS GR PR CUSHKA CARACTACUSS 13b2
Another really pleasing mature lad and looking very much the part as well, it came down to the slight shading on his back for the placings. Two mature boys, in wonderful condition.
3 CLEMENTS SUZERAIN LOUIS SAMILTON 70 8a
A mere baby in comparision, this young chap is also very promising and will have his day but was not mature enough yet to really compete with the other two!

I just loved this lad and he would have won in competition but was alone in this class.
Stunning head and type, with super head balance. High set ears with the desired width between them and with great furnishings. Expressive green eyes slightly obliquely set and lovely size. High cheek bones. Wonderful squareness to his muzzle and in profile a slight shallow concave curve and wonderful strength from his nose tip to chin. Long rectangular frame with long substantial limbs, rounded paws. Long tail that was well furnished and finished off the whole balance of his frame. His coat was of excellent texture with glossy top coat and with virtually no tarnishing. Show superbly and handled like a dream.

Young male with great size and substance. Broad head with well set ears, and flat plane. Expressive eyes large and well opened slightly obliquely set. Well developed cheeks. Nice muzzle and firm chin. Medium length nose with slight dip in profile. Long well developed body and long limbs that had substantial boning. Long tail that was well furnished. Well shown quite silky textured coat.
2 LOMBARDS ADSETLO BEYAZ ASLAN 13w
I liked the head type of this male and he was in excellent condition and shown very well sadly he had been sporting a collar that had rather rubbed his coat away around his neck. Excellent weight and great to handle.

I just fell for this little chap, he was rather nervous at first and tolerated being made a fuss of so we provided lots of it!
Very promising young man with that lovely Somali expression with well set ears, forming the crescent from behind. Developing the gently curving contours to his head and cheeks. Expressive eyes that were large and well set and nicely pencilled with the lines to both sides. Promising coat that was flat lying and starting to show the desired ticking and the lovely rich copper colouring of the sorrel coat. Well shown and I look forward to meeting him again!
2 PEARSONS JASIMSAF CLARET 13c2 2.5.08
I liked both of these birman kittens as well and found it quite hard to separate them .
Super young kitten with promising width to his head. Well spaced medium sized ears. Almost round blue eyes that were developing in colour. Medium length nose with slight dip. Just a little pinch around the muzzle due to teething I suspect. Medium length legs that were well boned and strong paws. Points colouring developing. His front paws were well marked the symmetrical gloves up to the angle of the paw to the leg, his back paws had the sock covering the whole paw and tapered slightly to half way up the hock.
3 BUSH KUTAZA KITO 13c2 21.2.08
This older kitten had a very nice breadth and roundness to his skull. Medium length nose that had a slight bump in profile. Quite full cheeks. Medium sized ears that were widely set on his skull. Almost round eyes that were a little pale in colour. Long body that was of nice weight and substance. Medium length legs that had nice bone and round strong paws. Bushy tail that balanced his body well. Even blue tone to his points colouring. His front paws were quite well marked, the right hand glove dipping slightly to the inside. His socks matched and covered the whole of the back paws, and the gauntlets were even and marked to half way up the hock. Well shown.

Not in the best of moods and would have benefitted from a little more show preparation but he was a really substantial chap with very nicely balanced head with good width to length balance.e Large ears that were high set and nicely furnished. Expressive eyes, large and slightly obliquely set. High cheek bones. Lovely squareness to his muzzle and in profile the nose had a shallow concave curve and the perpendicular line was evident from nose tip to chin. Long, rectangular body that was really massive and excellent boning to his long powerful legs. Round, tufted paws. Long well furnished tail. His coat would have looked so much nicer with a little more time and preparation.
I was very sorry but we were not able to handle the other exhibit in this class.
