Household Pets

Many thanks to Mrs Hewitt and the lovely Jersey Cat Club for the invitation to judge the Household Pets and the lovely gift. I always enjoy coming to Jersey as I consider it my local show as I am originally from Guernsey. Many thanks to my Father Brian Rabey for stewarding for me. I had a lot of really lovely cats.

Tabby or Tabby and White Neuter Longhair Open

1st Mrs J & Miss A Robert’s Fudge, Long Hair Tabby Male 18 months old.

A really nice sized brown tabby boy, showing a very rich warm colouring to his coat. Beautiful vivid green eyes, with lovely tabby pattern to his face. Good condition and presentation. A lovely temperament.

2nd Mrs J & Miss A Robert’s Bumble, Long Hair Tabby Male 18 months old.

Another nice sized boy, the brother of Fudge. Not quite as outgoing as his brother, a little shy. Again a lovely rich brown tabby and lovely lime green eyes. Nice condition and grooming but coat was just a bit greasier than his brother’s. A very hard class to judge and it just came down to Fudge being a bit bolder.

Any Colour Male Neuter Club Class A very hard class to judge, thank you for entering.

1st L & M Hucker’s Rollo, Short Hair Tabby Male 3 years old.

What a lovely boy, very friendly and I think he would have stayed out on my table all day given the chance! Beautiful presentation, really lovely rich brown tabby, gorgeous emerald green eyes. A really lovely fireside boy and with the little tear in his ear to prove that sometimes he can leave the fireside!

2nd J Howard’s Chico, Short Hair Tabby Male 3 years old.

Wow, what a huge boy!! Lovely brown tabby, very well presented, big orange eyes. Obviously well loved and fed! He loved being out of the pen and having a cuddle. Really lovely boy.

Extra 2nd Mrs S Moir’s Tigger, Short Hair Ginger Male 3 ½ years old.

Big handsome boy, well covered obviously loves his food!! Lovely rich ginger, very hot coloured, lovely bright green eyes. Well presented, nice coat pattern and lovely rings to the end of his tail. Another lovely friendly boy.

3rd Mr & Mrs Laffoley’s Minou, Short Hair Black Male 1 year 9 months.

Another handsome boy, lovely rich black, nice bright yellow eyes. Very friendly boy. Had the neatest round feet I have ever seen!

Extra 3rd D Riley’s Domino, Short Hair Black and White Male 4 years old.

Very smart black and white boy, wearing his tuxedo with pride!! Rich black with sparkling white. Nice presentation, another boy who likes his food. Lovely bright lime green eyes.
